       That one good book.

The familiar whirr of gizmos sounded as the man sheathed his
sword, the faint glow from the still active arcane crystals
litter the halls. A single piece of paper, held in front of the
man's face, armored gauntlet gripping the parchment as his
glowing red eyes scan the page. He lets out a singular sigh,
slipping the sheet back into the backpack where it had come. He
didn't like these ruins, not that it was dark, oh he had no fear
of dark. More so that normally they were infested by the
mechanical protectors of those long forgotten, and that lowly
race that had fallen so low they almost could no longer be
considered Mer. A scraping sound as his clawed gauntlet was
adjusted and his boots made a heavy clank against the ground.
Normally this man hated heavy armor, it was a necessity though,
dragons and things with claws roam around these days to the
Altmer had decided it would be best to accumulate to the more
heavy protection. His boots clank on as he wanders the dimly lit
hallways, peering around without worry. Strange, his thoughts
rang out, It would seem that someone was here before me. Sure
enough scrap metal litter the floors, splashes of blood here and
there, even a bandit or two littered a corner occasionally,
having fallen to one of the contraptions the man so despised. He
continued to walk, he had been here for a reason. Every body he
checked though, no pulse, and they seemed to have been stripped
       clean of their possessions.
Deeper and deeper into the crypt of the machines the man went,
occasionally dealing with the fallen race he had learned to hate
so much. How long had it been since he ate? No matter, this was
much more important. He needed this item and wasn't about to
turn back yet. Eventually he found himself in a small room, it
appeared to be an old homestead, desk, a stone bed, primitive
yet functional. A body seemed to be slumped in a corner, though
he ignored it for now, setting his eyes on a shelf on the back
wall. They lit up with a gleam, there it was.
With a few loud clanks the man stirred, peering up over his arms
he froze, a man currently plucking a book from the bookshelf.
Though it wasn't just a man, his cheeks were sunken in, flesh
paler than the full moon, and those eyes. The mage would shudder
in the corner, accidentally letting out a small squeak. His fur
was nearly standing on end as he stared at this man in heavy
armor. Why did he have to agree to go on that research trip so
long ago? He had been stuck in here, and now maybe be on the
       menu.
The red-eyed man stopped, eyes sliding over to the khajiit in
the corner, letting out a snort he plucks the book from the
shelf, sliding it into a bag. "Good, good, now the collection is
complete,I may rest." He turns on his heels, heading back the
way which he came. The cat let out a relieved sigh before the
man stopped in the doorway, turning toward him he would snap his
fingers as a blue energy smashed its way into the khajiit's
mind. "On second thought..." The cold, smooth voice rang sweetly
into the large feline's ears. This was his master, oh he was so
confident, he'd follow him anywhere. "I may as well order
       take-out."
(>.> Leave me alone, yes, it may not be 100% serious, but I
       suddenly got the idea xD)

I just knew it was this. If anyone has a question I can answer
it. Maybe I will know some things.
