Zaxus would have walked up just as Bear burst into tears. Bear
hears the woman speak, she nods a bit, slowly lifting hands to
wipe at her eyes with a bit of a sniffle. "I just don't
understand why you don't want me to help you, ever. But if
Tenish offers..." She shakes her head a bit, slowly pushing
herself up to turn and face the other woman, her rune-etched
face now quite red with puffy purple eyes. The redness causing
the runes to stand out a great deal more than they normally did,
almost giving them their own kind of glow of faint green.
"Is it a wolf thing? Do you just not like me?" She says this,
peering down quite intently at her bare feet, wiggling her toes
in the sand. "Forgive me for being so blunt, I just wish to
understand better, I really do. Tenish does not mind if I help
him, Aura does not really seem to care, it is just you." She
sucks in a sharp breath, slowly lifting her head to eye Zaxus
intently, her ears remaining drooped though and her shoulders
slouched.

Zaxus would just sit down beside the upset woman, and sigh
deeply, crap.. "No.. It's not that i don't like you Bear, and it
is sort of a wolf thing, but not at the same time.." she
grumbled, rubbing her left shoulder, "I said you can heal me if
you want..." she closed her eyes, why did she feel she was only
making it worse. She opened her eyes, and looked to Bear once
more, "And it's not like i accept help from Tenish all the
time... He just usually insists.." she huffed.
Down the shoreline, about a mile or so, Tenish would see the
flickers of lights, and boats on the water, a port town? The
Ashed Port, the only town in the ash lands, and it was pretty
big, it was also a big place for pirates, for those who knew.

Tenish would blink, he peers back toward the two before peering
back to the lights. Hrmm.... Well he of course was going to go
make sure it was alright before he led his friends into anyplace
that may ot accept weird looking elven people and, well strange
people in general so he leaps into the air, wings flapping. He
would let out a sharp whistle to Aura, signifying he'd be right
back and to stay with the two as he flew off toward the port
town.

Bear offers a faint smile. She is really trying to make the best
of it, but she still seems so damned confused. Her hands slowly
lift as a light green mist would appear from her hands, slowly
drifting over Zaxus' wounded shoulder... The mist would then
slowly work its way into seeping into her skin to go about
healing the shoulder.

Zaxus sighed in relief actually, as Bear's healing mist hit her,
the healing wave sinking into her flesh, and down into the
muscle, and bone, mending away at what was wounded, and ripped,
she grunted, opening her eyes again, she peered to Bear, before
looking to Aura, who had walked up when Tenish left. "Thank you,
Bear..." she sighed once more, reaching her hand out to pet
Aura.
Tenish would see as he flew over head, the town was a big busy
place, even at night, of course drunks were about in the
evenings, but it was a town of many races, like most cities and
villages. From Centaurs to impish looking people, town had no
shortage of the different races, even a few humans were walking
about, and the elves from the Dawning Isles, which was a rare
sight. Many of the people here were even half breeds.
The town it's self, was old looking, and sea worn, the homes and
buildings of age, were made from old bout pieces, any other
buildings were built with old wood, and sometimes there were
mixtures. The down spanned down to shore, where a ship yard, and
a port lied, many ships were in the docks, and off the shores.

Tenish would do a loop through the sky before heading back the
way he came, it would take a few moments but eventually he would
glide down, landing in the sand, wings folding upon his back. He
would nod to the both of them, "Port town, just that direction."
He would thumb over his shoulder, "Seems as if we shouldn't get
too much trouble. It's a place for a possible meal at least."

Bear's look brightens up a bit, even her ears perk up quite a
bit too. "T-thank you. For letting me heal your shoulder. You
should have come to me sooner, fighting with something like that
will only ever make it worse." She mutters, slowly looking
around with a bit of a confused look across her face. "W-where
did Petalfoot go?" She mumbles, counting Zaxus, herself, and
Aura.

Zaxus smiles to Bear, "I know Bear..." she looks around a
moment, "I do-" she paused, as Tenish landed, and she listened
to him talk about the nearby town, "Sounds great, think we could
relax at an inn, get some actual bathes? Salt water you know,
only makes your hair sticky and your skin feel dried out.. So..
it would be good for all of us." she nodded, pushing herself up
with a smile to him.

Tenish turns up his nose, "...Do we have to sleep in an inn?
What is it with you and inns? Outside is much better." He pulls
the coat up onto his shoulders, it beginning to get chilly for
him, the coat finally dry. "And nothing's wrong with the
ocean." Yeah, you just told him he had to take another bath,
Tenish and baths, unless he feels he needs one, Zax would've
learned they do not mix well.

Bear blinks, spinning around to face Petalfoot with a bit of
shock on her face. Though it quickly fades to a commonly seen
grin. She nods in agreement with Zaxus about the inn idea.
"Yeah... A really nice bath to get all the salt off would be
really helpful. Plus, I have never gotten to actually sleep in a
bed before!" She was back to her usual self, ears perked up and
grinning like she had just won the lottery. Her face was still a
bit red, but the runes seemed to not be nearly as bright now. If
anything she looked eager to get some rest and off of her feet
for a bit.
