Re: Seeing The World : Chapter Two - The Years Spent.

Tenish was currently digging in the sand where he had seen the
crab burrow, tail wagging before he blinks, peering up,
completely forgetting why he was currently doing this. He shook
his head. Normally he had decent instincts himself, but
occasionally it seemed as if he had the uncontrollable urge to
do something really...weird...and did so without second thought.
Kinda confused him a bit, he wasn't used to just the urge to
chase something still. He shook the water from his fur as he
pulled himself back out of the water, peering back to Bear and
Zaxus.

Bear lets out a soft sigh, lightly shaking her head. "Just let
me apply a little healing to it? It won't do any harm or
anything, it will make it hurt a -lot- less." She chuckles
softly.

Zaxus huffed, looking to Bear, she did consider it a moment..
But then she turned away from her, "Im fine.. I always bounce
back like a Wald vein.. No matter how much you break me, or cut
me down to size.. i always pop right back up again, okay?" she
nodded to the both, before trying to step off after her clothes.
Aura had now moved on from the burried jellyfish, and was poking
at a hermet crap, who was looking rather annoyed by the dogish
hound.

Tenish would then awalk up behind the woman, Pop! Hand upside
the back of her head. Yup. He had already while Bear was
suggesting the healing transformed back, his fur coat being
soaked now, he would be attempting to air it out before the cold
air started becoming a problem for him. "I can understand
stubbornness but stupidity is no excuse." Is the only thing he
would say.

Bear offers a faint, one-sided shrug. By now her jacket and
pants were already nearly dry from having been running around
upon the beach. Her hair was still up in the pony tail, still
drying though. She offers a faint smile to Zaxus. "I just want
to help." She mutters, lightly shaking her legs to rid them of
most of the sand that had gathered when she slid over to them.
Small scrapes had appeared and vanished just as quickly as they
had been made. Still smiling though, she tilts her head a bit to
the side.
She lightly shakes her head, turning slowly to look back out at
the water. She felt rejected in a sense, even a bit hurt. She
had not lied, all she wanted to do was help. But why did she not
want her healing? It was possibly the most natural damned thing
on the planet and had no after-effects or anything and most of
the time was painless... She shakes her head with a soft sigh.
It did cross her mind that Zaxus would likely accept healing
from Tenish without a question. Maybe that is what she was
waiting for or something. Her semi-long elven ears kind of droop
down a bit to show exactly just how she was feeling about it
now. Though she had a smile on her face, d'em ears.
"C-can we please get going? Though I love the ocean and the open
water, some fresh, salt-less water would be nice to clean my
hair in and such. Don't want it getting all stiff and the such,
ya' know. Something to eat would be really nice, too." It was
really confusing for Bear, she just didn't understand why Zaxus
didn't want her help. She had not accepted it even before.
Swiftly the bare footed woman turns and hobbles off past the two
of them, hands laced behind her back, a common spring missing
from her step. She is deep in thought now, a blank look across
her rune-etched face.

Zaxus grunted, stopping, she turned, rubbing her head where she
was smacked, ".... Whats your issue with me being -stubborn-..
Besides, i've been dealing with it a while so it's not like im
not use to it by now..." she huffed, staring at him, her gaze a
bit narrowed. It was pretty common for this with Werebeasts,
especially werewolves, they were prideful creatures, and well...
Usually any sign of weakness, including injuries, is usually a
death for them in the near future. Zaxus knew she should get
healed, but that baser instinct of hiding it was rather strong
for her.

Tenish would simply motion to the very sad seeming Bear, "It's
not stubborn, I reiterate, it's -stupidity-. You think it shows
weakness when actuallity refusing help is more of a weakness and
is more likely to get you killed." She may be a werebeast but
Tenish had lived most of his life with his family, while she had
been part of her town for longer. Intincts would actually tell
to go to those that are friends, not completely hide it, so she
really had no excuse. Tenish would simply walk in the other
direction, leaving Zaxus to go apologize to the spirit.

Bear would continue to walk along slowly, closing her eyes as
she lets her senses guide her as she so often did. Maybe it was
because she was different, didn't understand a good bit of how
werewolves were, despite having traveled with the two for a time
now. It was not something she payed attention too, really. They
were family. Pack. How did a bear fit into that? She shakes her
head, sucking in a sharp breath. It was not blood that made
family, but bonds, right...? Slowly Bear stops and sinks down
into the sand, knees pressing against her chest as she wraps her
arms around her legs, rocking slightly.
She almost felt homesick, suddenly missing the thick grove of
trees she had grown, all the animals she had cared for and the
generations of bears she had watched grow and had cared for. She
was far from home now on her own little adventure, how was her
forest doing? Were the bears alright without her there? Were the
trees still growing tall and strong? She slowly lowers her head
to the top of her knees, a slow breath escaping her.
"Sorry..." She whispers out, not even sure what she was saying
sorry about. She had nothing to be sorry for. Sad Bear, is quite
phucking sad.

Zaxus huffed, watching Tenish turn, and wander a bit away, she
turned her head, to look back toward Bear... Thephuck? Oh by the
raven, she wasn't going to cry was she!? Zaxus suddenly went
into a bit of a panic, walking up beside Bear, and sighing.
"If.. You really want to heal it... Thats fine, you don't have
to take it so hard...." she murmurs, rubbing the back of her
head... Bear made her think she made her cry.... Congrats.

Tenish would continue walking down the beach, leaving those two
alone for now. His eyes traveling along the sand. He would peer
around, trying to pick out landmarks, he had figured they
wouldn't stay around here for that long, but he wanted to give
those two a time to talk.
