The man tilted his head, his gaze shooting to Tenish as he
blocked his view of those beautiful br- women, he meant women.
He sighed, and leaned back into his chair, "Ah.. Well.. I only
play for a chance at winning something.. So what is the offer my
friend?" he murmured, not paying one bit of mind to Tenish's
insults, as he eyed his beautiful chess board and pieces. He
didn't need anyone to tell him they were perfect, he knew they
were perfect.

Tenish's hand would withdraw the feather from his belt, setting
it on the table, "Magic feather, and my coat, coat's made from
Northern lycanthrope fur. The feather makes a person fly." He
crosses his arms, peering at the man, "Oh, and if you happen to
win, I'd owe you a favor. In exchange, I'm just asking for a sum
of money enough to house four for a few months and again, a
favor from you should I need it." He peers at the man
expectantly. "Not anything too large, I assure you." Tenish was
not dumb, he wasn't going to ask for the man's ship or anything.

Bear merely continues to watch the two intently, blinking a bit
as she watches Tenish intently for a few moments before looking
to the elf.

The man eyed the feather, and rose a brow, "A magical golden
feather... Neat, but." he leaned back in his chair, "I." he
gestured his hands outward, "Do not need to play, my friend.
Unlike you, i was not built with wings, so there for, i have no
need to fly, nor do i plan to.." He set his hands back on his
knee, and sighed, "As for the jacket, it would fetch quite a
price, lycanthrope fur, is rare... Especially the northren kind.
But it's not rare enough for me to get any real good out of it,
maybe i would get fifty coins for it on the back market.." his
gaze shifted to the rest of the group, he took some time to eye
the pup, "Hrm.." Aura would be scooting herself back to sit
behind Zaxus's legs, and then his gaze shirted up to her, and
Bear. "And a favor.. no thats just not enough..." he looked to
Tenish, "Mm.. How about one of your women?" he rose a brow,
leaning forward a bit. Zaxus growled under her breath, and
tightened her arms in the fold, she looked like she was about to
start shit if this went south.

Tenish's eyes would narrow, pupils narrows as he even suggested
it, there'd be a short growl before it was cut off, though he
sneered. "They are not objects therefore are not mine to wager.
You don't want to play? You're simply wasting my time." He would
snort, pushing himself from his chair before settling his now,
very cold gaze on the man, "You obviously do not know what you
deal with, and I will walk away before you attempt to think of
more stupidity." He would swipe the feather from the table.
"Because sir, you can't possibly fathom the concept of putting
monetary value in object let alone people.

Bear furrows her brows, letting out a soft sigh. She keeps her
grip on Zaxus, fighting back a low growl before whispering to
the other woman. "They use women as currency too...?" She
manages out quietly and in utter disbelief at the concept. She
recalled back to a time where women were once considered to be
priceless and were so well respected... this was just blowing
her mind. Though she looks to Tenish, nodding. He was one of the
good guys, but she had deemed that a long time ago after he had
allowed her to join him on his travels. Zaxus too, even being
quite stubborn!

Zaxus sighed, rolling her eyes at the male, then again, half the
men in this tavern would probably say the same, so it didn't
bother her so much, she kept her arms crossed, and glanced to
Bear, staying quiet for now.
The man let out a heavy chuckle, "Wow.. I have to say i didn't
expect that myfriend.." he held up his hands, leaning forward,
"Now now! wait wait.. I was testing you -sortof- i mean, surely
a man that would sell out his girls, or rather traveling
companions as it looks like, surely wouldn't be fair in a game,
even a game like chess.. So don't be so sore, im glad you were
straight up." he offered a smile, pulling his hat off once more,
"I am interested though.. That feather, anymore information on
it, other then it can make you fly? And as for you, im sure a
favor from a man like you, would be done well.." he offered a
shrug, and a goofy grin, this guy probably wasn't all sly and
mirrors, it honestly did look like he had been playing that
weirdo pirate type a bit over the top.

Tenish would twirl the feather between his fingers once more,
"Nope, just fly, but from my knowledge it could be used for a
whole ship, I would think." He was bluffing, Zax and Bear would
know, but it would not be apparent by his unchanging facial
expression. The angile's face remained in that constant mask of
indifference, violet eyes studying his surroundings.

Zaxus stayed rather still, peering to Tenish, she kept a face of
pretty much the same expression it's been since she walked in, a
face that told anyone she didn't know, they could fuck off and
she wasn't interested. She gave a nod to Tenish, and then
shifted her icy blue gaze to the man, who looked to here, and
stared a moment.
He let out a whistle, "Damn.. Shes a cold one isn't she?" he
chuckled, and then looked to Tenish, leaning back in his chair,
"Ah.. Well.." he murmured, "Well then.." he rose a brow, "I
think i may just be a little more interested then." McDashing
reached forward to fiddle with the chess pieces, black was
turned toward him. "Mmm.. Well.. How about a game then?" he
smiled.
