Kei would peek over the roof, her ears were back as she listened
to Alvar. She just sat there though, nearly shaking. The vampire
could be scary, that's for sure.
Eilik would blink as he exited the door again, raising an
eyebrow as he just kind of stared at the spectacle happening.
His arms crossed, he stands there, pretty much waiting for Alvar
to calm down.
Ventus, well, as soon as he was released he would scramble to
his feet before whirling to face the vampire, "Well you know! If
you really didn't want us going in there, you could, OH I DUNNO,
BLOCK THE ENTRANCE OR SOMETHING! Signs telling us to keep out
only peek interest! Geeze! It's like you don't know how a
person's mind works!" He's grown a mouth he has, and it's
starting to become abundantly clear by this. "And if you're so
pissy about reading material!" He would reach into his pack,
before pulling out a small book, chucking it at Alvar. And no,
it wasn't one of his spell books, "There's plenty lying around!
It's not as if we are in lack of things to read!"

Alvar is good at the catching game and manages to catch the book
before it smacks him in the face. "Do you now what it is like to
be locked inside a tomb to pretty much remain there forever?
Just hoping on a small slim chance you are somehow freed? The
maggots eating at the back of your head, your skin, crawling
through your brain and organs while all you can do is sit there
and scream into the nothing?" The vampire gives Ventus a
slightly irritated look, having calmed down quickly now as he
opens the first page of the small book, already starting to read
it. "It is nothing pretty and not something I would be willing
to do to another living being, despite how low I think it might
be. If I did that they would eat each other or starve, plus,
they keep the population of smaller, more dangerous things
down."
Alvar just qued in that these eye-less beasts served some sort
of minor use to allow him more reading time. "Good job with the
fireballs though, but. I would check on Taur's chest. It seems
to have been burnt fairly nicely." His nose wrinkles before
flipping a page. The vampires rage seems to be completely gone
as he spins and starts to walk off elsewhere, flipping another
page, done yelling and leaving the rest to whomever. Though his
eyes were still red, meaning his anger had not yet fully
subsided. He did not even realize Nina had seen him like this.
Oshi.
Taru just kind of sits there, blinking a bit in confusion. The
fire that had been burning at the fur around her neckline was
put out the moment Alvar's rage has swept over them. But it had
still left a hefty burning that had charred her flesh black. It
would leave a horrid smell of burned skin in the air around the
large bear, who seems to be trying her best to ignore the
seemingly minor wound. And is doing a pretty good job at it was
she tries to lightly nudge Marci with a whine. She was fine,
really, she was!

Nina blinks, sticking a finger into the pot of stew, bringing it
into her mouth to taste it as she watched Alvar and the kids.
Marci looked up, Alvar's rage had subsided for now.. And Eilik
hadn't snatched her yet! IT WAS THE TIME TO MAKE HER GREAT
ESCAPE. Suddenly her form would blacken, and then vanish into a
mist, bursting out, she would flow down, and around everyone's
feet, the mist lifting up past the tree and of- wait.. what was
this.. something went horribly wrong, uhoh. Suddenly her body
would come back into phase, and slam her into a branch, before
she fell to the dirt with a groan.. Amazingly, the mist would
have been moving quite fast.. And though she could only hold it
a short time, it wasn't suppose to be that short.. Another fuck
up of hers, she probably let her mind wander while she was
trying to focus on escaping.. And now she was lying flat on her
back, holding her gut..

Eilik shakes his head, Alvar had enough rage in him. he would
peer up, noting the Kei on the roof before he let out a sigh,
well. He's already fucked with people enough for the day. He
would slip back in the door again before moving to sit at the
table with Derius, pouring his own cup of tea, because that
sounds like a good idea right now, yup.
Ventus huffs, rolling his eyes before getting on his hands and
knees, attempting to peer at where Taru was burned. He would sit
on the ground, thinking for a moment, grumbling to himself about
mixed messages.
Kei, well, she can't help but giggle at Marci's mishap.

Taru just kind of tilts her head at Ventus, blinking a bit. One
ear is perked up as she slowly lifts one of her large paws up,
wincing slightly as she reaches the large paw towards Ventus...
but does not drop it like she normally would. Shake? She wants
to shake.
Derius quirks a brow at Eilik, setting his cup down. "What a
nice evening, hmm?" He mutters softly, smirking a bit. The imp
just shakes his head. "If by nice you mean like walking into the
pits of hell, possibly." The imp mutters. Derius merely chuckles
a bit, lifting his cup back up to take another sip of tea. Tea
is the best thing ever.

Marci groaned a bit, rolling over, she wasn't in trouble?! YEY!
she offered a little cheer to herself, seeing Alvar was busy
reading, and Eilik went inside. She got up, and wandered over to
Ventus and Taru, ignoring Kei as she giggled at her. "Is Taru
okay?" she questioned Ventus, bending over at the waist, and
setting her hands on her knees. Her scarf falling over her
shoulder to hang down infront of her.
Talia would be sleeping sooo hard, when Eilik slammed the door
again and again, it didn't even move her, sitting the darkened
corner of the room, in her rocking chair. Sleepin like a boss...
Nina just chuckled at the children, and looked to Alvar, raising
a brow. "Kids. Dinner will be done in a minute."

Ventus would blink, peering up to Marci, "Well it's Taru, she's
always okay." He would sigh before taking the paw and shaking
it, because frankly, sometimes you just had to do what the large
bear wanted. He would look back to the burned area again before
drawing a symbol in the air with a finger, a thin layer of ice
would cover the burn, at least to cool it a bit. He nods at
Nina, "Gimme a moment."
Eilik would take a drink from his cup, nodding to Derius,
"Hectic it seems, the kids doing stupid things, though can't
really blame them. They've been stuck here for a while now."
Kei would blink, sniffing at the air. Suddenly, if people were
paying attention, one of the fish would vanish from the spit.
And kei would be happily picking the meat from its bones on the
roof.

Derius chuckles a bit, nodding. "Yeah, fair enough, really. They
are kids, and kids love adventure and stuff. Was just like them
when I was that age." He grins then, taking another sip from his
nearly empty cup with a soft sigh. "All of them alright I take
it, seeing as Alvar did not burst in here to flip the table
again?"
Taru seems quite pleased that Ventus shook her paw! Though the
moment the ice covers over the burn, the large bear promptly
topples right over with a loud, relieved groan. Oh, Ice. Sweet
chill soothing the burns quite well. Taru just lays there for a
few moments before swiftly hopping back up, offering a faint
grin to Ventus. Then she gets up swiftly and hobbles her butt
towards the door, clearly ready for dinner.

Marci blinked, looking over toward Nina, man.. she was still
soooo fool. She grumbled, hopping up, and perching herself in
the tree where she usually sat, able to see everyone.
Xon looked up toward Kei, as the fish he was reaching for had
disappeared. Not that it would do any good for his hunger. He
pushed himself up, walking over he hopped up, and climbed onto
the roof, deciding to sit next to her without a word.. He was
supposedly the 'strong and silent' type.. He stared down toward
the fire, even sitting next to her.

Kei would blink, picking at the fish, she would lower her head,
wondering why this dragon was sitting next to her, he never
spoke, so...why? Yes, confused girl is confused.
Ventus would nod, before pushing himself to his feet. He would
head over to the fire, peering around at the food before fishing
out an apple from his pocket, he takes a bite, loud crunch
ringing through the air before wandering off. He had to take a
whizz. He would head to a nearby clump of trees, because it is
unknown if there is a bathroom, or even plumbing for that
matter. Or even an outhouse round here.
Eilik shrugs, "From what I saw, seems to me the old man was just
worried."
