Taru's ears perk up as she sees Marci, clearly happy to see her
dear friend! But, she remains smooshing Ventus, guaging by the
look on Marci's face, something was behind them.... At least the
thinks. She shifts herself slightly though to allow Ventus more
breathing room, but still keeping it so she has him firmly
pinned down under her for fear of whatever the fuck was in here
was going to get him.

Marci would just be very still, and quiet, peering into the dark
room... Kei would be able to see it too... A swarm of white
skinned creatures, they had no eyes, but all that were in the
room, seemed to be staring at the group. They bared their two
fanged teeth, thats all their gaping holed mouths had. There
looked to be over a hundred just in that room alone, and these
creatures didn't seem to give off body heat, as the room would
be rather cold.. For Marci, she instantly got far back
flashbacks of the north, what it was like to be alone, what her
coven cave was like.

Kei lets out a squeak as she sees this, her mouth snapping
closed. She didn't want to alarm these things and well, she tugs
on the back of Marci's shirt.
Ventus would grumble, slowly squeezing out from under the large
bear, He would attempt to not catch Taru on fire with it still
being in his hand but well, that's not working so well likely
with her laying on him.

Taru's jaw clenches as she turns her head in time to see... Was
it getting hot in here? No. It couldn't be. It was so damn
chilly in here... And then it dawned on her that Ventus STILL
had a fireball. The large bear would try to keep calm, but it
fails horridly as she would roar up and start to flail her
massive paws about careful not to hit Marci or Kei. And instead
of pushing past them with the small flames now eating at the fur
on her chest, she turns and bolts directly towards the room,
roaring and panicking the fuck out, seeming nearly oblivious to
the fact that she was running directly into the room filled with
the eye-less beasts. Wellshit.
Now Alvar cannot help himself as he sits up, blinking. "Just who
in the fuck..." And Alvar vanishes from his content place in his
reading tree, along with his book. It was about damned time to
see who the fuck was mucking things up!

Marci blinked, as she saw Taru bolt forward in panic, "TARU!"
she shouted in worry, bolting forward, right over Ventus, trying
to stop Taru before she startled to many of the beasts. But as
she and Taru bolted down the large hall, a few of the creatures
would come down, trying to grab at Ventus, and drag him off...
Now this looked like one of those horror movie things...

Ventus would blink as suddenly He is being drug off somewhere,
"Uh guys!?" He would yell, though he chucks the fireball at one
of the things that had grabbed him, trying to shake them off, a
boot maybe going into one of their faces.
Kei would run after Ventus as he's being drug off, the four
likely getting deeper into the temple, she flails, not knowing
quite what to do. "TARU! MARCI! YOU FORGOT VENTUS!" Though she
tries to make sure to keep up with the boy...she didn't want to
get into trouble.

Taru blinks, stopping DEAD in her tracks as her claws rake on
the floor. She spins around, likely smacking directly into Marci
as she would continue to charge back down the other way after
Ventus as Kei calls out for them! If Marci was quick enough, she
would have likely avoided being trampled on/grabbed while the
massive bulk of burning bear lets out a promising roar of
threat. Srsface, activated.
Meanwhile, outside of the temple... Alvar stands, lightly
tapping his chin with his book, sighing a bit... Slowly making
his way inside.

Marci let out an 'oof' as she was smacked to the side by the
massive bear, landing on her back, she would feel a few clawed
hands dig into her shirt and arms, as she started to flail,
trying to reach her daggers.. Ohshi- Ventus would strike one of
the creatures with fire, and it let out a pained yelp, rushing
off, leaving behind the smell of rotten and burnt flesh, while
the other one got a boot to it's face, letting out a hiss, and
trying to grab onto Ventus's leg.

Ventus would be kicking his leg, attempting to get the thing
off, he would hold out a hand, fireball igniting before a shot
rang out as Kei had unholstered her gun, aiming a smoking barrel
at the creature, she swiveled around, other gun at the ready,
there were more of these things, she knew, and she wasn't sure
if she had hit the one on Ventus. They indeed were outnumbered,
and being the a squishy human, well, he wasn't that safe in
here. Ventus would be attempting to scramble to his feet, the
boy kicking still at the creature if it was still attempting to
grab him. Other hand igniting a fireball as well as he peered
around in the darkness. Oh he was ready. He wasn't just a scared
little boy anymore, and actually, even though his heart was
pounding, he had to show Taru he could take care of himself
sometimes.

And then Alvar appears, his hands balled into fists, his book
now pretty much crunched in his right hand like it was just air
he was holding on so tightly too. His mouth opens wide, as he
eyes Ventus and the various lesser-beings. His rage at this
point was likely boiling over the top of the pot, if smoke could
roll out of his ears... But that is not the worst of it. He
turns his attention to his crumpled book... and the poor
vampire's eyes actually turn red for once. It is likely that all
of the beings within a mile or so radius could feel the anger
just rolling off of him as he promptly tosses his ruined book
directly past Ventus, not to hit him hopefully.
"ARE YOU PHUCKING KIDDING ME. CAN YOU NOT READ. OR SMELL. WHAT
DOES BLOOD SMEARED ALL OVER A SIGN NOT TELL YOU ABOUT A PLACE. I
MEAN, FOR PHUCKS SAKE, YOU WALKED INTO A DEN OF DRONE-SUCKERS
WHICH IS NEARLY THE LOWEST PIECE OF SCUM IN MY LIST OF THE
VAMPIRE FOODCHAIN. WHILE THEY MAY BE WEAK, THEY ARE MANY. I
MEAN, REALLY."
Without much worry of Ventus' fire, Alvar moves forward swiftly,
attempting to grab the back of the young man's collar as he
continues forward, free hand out to dispose of any of the
'lesser beings' in his way as he goes forward directly towards
the still charging Taru and Marci, likely trying to grab Kei
with a sudden extra arm as well. Time to try and collect
children and decimate this temple. Hopefully. He was just really
mad about now having just crushed his book...
Phuuuck.
