By now, Taru is already a good distance from the two of them,
not having stopped even for a moment to wait. She knew where the
fuck she was going, despite what everyone else thought. This was
supposed to be her home, wasn't it? She continues to go along,
the light-bug on her nose now blinking occasionally...
Derius would still be sound asleep... But the imp is back,
sensing some danger as he flails his arms about. "BY THE SEVEN
UNHOLY GODS WHAT DID YOU DO, WHY IS OUR RAIN-REFLECTOR AFLAME."
The imp screeches this, running back and forth in a rather good
line, flailing its clawed arms about in a panic.

Kei blinks, hearing all the noise from outside she pokes her
head from out of the loft, she had been doing stuff in there for
a time, "WHY'S EVERYONE YELLING!?" Before a beam fell right in
front of her face, crashing to the ground, she blinks before
huffing, "DAD!!!!"
Eilik flails, "OH COME ON, THE IMP TELLS ME TO HELP DERIUS, I
ATTEMPT TO COOK. EVERYONE KNOWS I CAN'T COOK!"
Kei holds out a hand, the flames slowly beginning to crawl
toward it, the flames are actually a dark purple instead of
normal fire, so it's obvious he tried to use his own fire. "MOM,
DAD'S NOT ALLOWED AS A DRAGON NEAR THE HOUSE AGAIN!"
The magical table appears, and is promptly flipped by Eilik,
seems everyone's yelling at him tonight.
Ventus blinks, once twice, before flailing, "I'm sorry, I didn't
mean it!" When he opens his eyes again it seems Marci is fully
clothed again, he lets out a sigh of relief, "I think...whew,
short period, thankfully." He peers around, "...Where's Taru?"

Talia grunted, her hand was now bleeding, but she pointed to the
flaming house, "EILIK. You started that fire, now you go in
there, and get Derius and Alvar out. Kei! Get out here and help
me put these fires out." she commanded with that almost motherly
angered tone.
Nina paused in her flailing, she was almost to tears, and she
even offered a sniffle, "M-My lady what do i do?...." she said
softly, holding her hands together tightly. Talia looked over at
the girl and waved a hand dismissively, "Nina, go get buckets at
the well, and start to bring them over." She then looked up to
Xon, and huffed, walking past Eilik, "I can't believe you lit
the house on fire.." she stepped up to Xon, and gave him a kick
to the leg, "Wake up."
Xon huffed, and opened his eyes, looking up at Talia, he
remained silent, as she huffed, and pointed to the house, "Help
us put out the fire." Xon simply pushed himself up, and walked
over, eying the roof.
Marci blinked, and glanced up the path, "She went over that
way.. She didn't stop either.. we better keep up." She covered
her breasts again, "Uhm.. You can see normally now right?" she
blushed red once more.

The imp looked utterly mortified at the moment that Eilik had
actually set the building on fire. The poor small creature was
still flailing about, dodging the table. "EILIK, YOU ARE NOT TO
COOK AGAIN. JUST KILL IT AND BRING IT BACK FOR LADY NINA TO
COOK. PLEASE. I STILL WANT DERIUS ALIVE, NOT COOKED." Swiftly
though the creature bleeds into the shadows, his shrinking voice
echoing a bit before he is completely gone. He reappears within
a few moments, a semi-awake Derius snuggled contently in his
large, fluffy blanket with bright neon-pink flipflops in tow.
"Thank you, Eilik. I love your cooking, if not just a little bit
smokey." His voice was rather soft, but he was quite sure his
friend would catch the humor in his tone before he promptly
passes right back out. The imp now just stands on Derius, hands
on the sides of its head with an utterly panicked look across
its face. "The rain reflector... Our place of which we often do
much habitation within... THE LEATHER BOUND PAPERS. NO, THE
ANIMATED CLEANING UTENSILS OF LORD ALVARS, THEY WILL CATCH
AFLAME AND OUR PLACE OF RESIDENCY WILL NO LONGER SMELL OF THE
DELICIOUSLY SWEET LEMON-FRUIT THAT HE AS LONG SINCE SPOKEN OF."
The poor creature seems to be on a last fuse at the moment, not
dealing with fire to well, as with his last words, he promptly
falls backwards, right off of Derius onto the grass, frozen.
Nopenopenope.
Taru would still be going on, though her head now lifted... she
had a very good feeling she was getting close to her
destination! At this point, the bug on her nose was blinking so
rapidly it would almost go as a strobelight if it were bright
enough. Taru seems not to notice though, quite caught up in the
mood.

Kei rolled her eyes, before she vanished, reappearing on the
roof just behind the flames, she peers down at the boards,
huffing. At least the roof wasn't entirely on fire yet, the
thrown water barrels had contained them to an extent. She
reaches down, grasping at the edge of the burning boards before
jerking up, a large RRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIPPPPPPP could be heard
as she just started pulling up boards and chucking them off the
roof. Not only had her dad nearly caught the house on fire. He
caught -HER- spot on fire. Oh well, get rid of the affected
area, get rid of the possible spread.
Suddenly a voice picks up, mild surprise on the familiar tone,
"...Well, I think it's for certain, the boy can't do anything
right." Jekra stands there, hands in the pocket of his blue
suit. He's in his human form of course, peering up at the debris
now sailing over their heads.
Eilik huffs, giving that look of defeat, he blinks at Derius, a
small smirk on his lips as he peers over toward him.
Ventus nods, "It's gone, I think..." He peers in the direction
that Marci pointed, rushing off, "C'mon, let's catch up."

Xon watched Kei as she was in action, he simply crossed his
arms, his expression was a sleepish one, but he had eyes on her
rather intently. Nina started to poor water on the lower flames,
until they were all out. Humming a bit as she did so, and then
she went inside, doing all the same, she did make her way to the
back where Alvar would be, "Lord Alvar, are you alright back
here?"
Talia sighed, looking down at her deeply bleeding hand, before
she would blink her purple glowing eyes, she looked up, and
over, "Ah. If it isn't Jekra. Good to see you." she turned
toward him, putting her hands on her hips.
Marci blinks, and nods quickly, "Right. I wonder if she knows
where shes going? She must, Taru wanders off but she usually
waits.." she murmured, walking along now.

Alvar would suddenly appear behind, book in hand as he peers to
Nina with a brow quirked. "Mmm. My fair lady Nina, might I ask
what you are doing in here? Did they take care of the roof
yet...?" He says with an utterly content look across his face.
Only for Nina would he drop everything he was doing when she
called his name... Even if it was something as simple as this.
And yes, Alvar looked just like he always did, not a burn or
even the scent of smoke on him. In fact, she smelled like Lemon
pledge.
Derius mumbles faintly, rolling over a bit as he snuggles more
into the blankets. He looked far to tired to be up and about in
all this mess, but at the same time looked insanely content with
the flipflops against his face...
And boom. Taru stops dead in her tracks as the path starts to
narrow, two smaller paths to each side... One looked well used,
the other seemed to have never been touched, vines were hanging
over it, the grass nearly up to Taru's fuzzy tummy and there
were rather pretty and quite attractive smelling flowers
blooming through the grass. They had their own bit of glow,
seeming to almost be gold... And without much hesitation, the
large bear swiftly turns and pushes herself through the vines,
ripping a few of them as she does so. The light-bug on her nose
stops blinking, keeping a solid faint light, not that it was
needed. The path was shined upon well by the stars and the
moons, and with the dimly glowing golden-colored flowers....!
Herp. At this point, Taru feels she should stop and wait for
them, but her mind was reeling. She was so close to home, she
could almost taste it!

Jekra would eye the area over, "I know, it's always nice to see
me, I am such a wonderful person." His red eyes scan over the
few places left on fire before a chunk of wood sailed at his
head, the umbrakin promptly ducking before Kei peeks over the
roof. "Sorry Mister!" The male would shake his head,
straightening himself out, tugging on the jacket of his suit.
before adjusting his tie, "So, tell me a few things. Whybuild a
place like this when you easily have the family home, and who in
the world is that young lady? Another stray?"
Eilik grumbles as he walks off toward a pile of wood. He may not
begood with fire, but at least he can replace some roofing. He
shoots a look toward the older umbrakin, turning up his nose,
"It's been what? Five years? Oh wait, I really shouldn't be
surprised, after all I didn't even realize you were around until
five years ago." Jekra would raise an eyebrow, eyes traveling to
the man, "Don't sass me, I'll drag you across these hills like I
did the throne room when you first met me."
Ventus shakes his head, breaking into a light run, "Who knows,
she may know the way given she is from this place. If so, I
really shoulda just followed her to begin with." He grumbles,
"TARU! Wait up!"

Talia sighs, watching between the two, she rose her bad hand,
and waved Kei down, seeing as the fire was out now, "Kei! Come
over here please." She shouted to her daughter, before lowering
her hand once more, and looking to Jekra, "Well. For the record
i never got to thank you for what you did five years ago.. So
thank you, Jekra... As for he camp." she gestured to the house
with a sigh, before reaching down to fish the bandages out of a
pocket, and she began to wrap her hand up while she spoke. "We
decided it was better to settle down a while so we could train
the kids, and let them grow a bit, so they weren't on the road
all the time.. Everyone seems to feel right at home here, even
your brother." she nodded, and then smiled, glancing to Kei, and
back to Jekra, "Well look at her Jekra.." she shook her head,
"That young lady, is Keiyra, your grand daughter."
Marci nodded, catching up to the path after a moment, seeing the
split road, ".. Uhm.. Which way do you think she went?" she
looked back to Ventus, with a bit of concern.
The woodlands were getting thicker, and more wild the deeper
Taru went, fresh scents of flowers and honey filled the air, it
even felt different, the forest went from creepy and dark, to a
warm lit place, cooing with the sounds of singing from birds.
Nina blinked, and jumped a bit, turning around with a soft
blush, still holding the water bucket, "Yes they did heh.. Miss
Keiyra is handling it quite well, i think she should be finished
about now though.. Everyone is waiting outside, if you would
like to come so everyone can make sure you're okay, Lord
Alvar.." she nodded, smiling.

Taru continues down the path contently as it gets brighter, the
sound of the birds and everything. She can hardly contain
herself, now a leap in her step. The light-bug would have slowly
stopped its glowing, still as ever, just waiting. But, she
faintly hears Ventus' call. And instantly she stops dead in her
tracks, snapping her head around, ears twitching a bit. She had
gone quite a ways ahead, what if they got lost?! She rips
herself away from the enchantment of the path, a loud bellowing
roar suddenly sounding through the forest. It echoed off of the
trees and down the path, all the way towards Marci and Ventus.
A few of the birds were frightened, but for the most part, they
remained calm and in their places, still chirping and singing
softly...
Alvar sucks in a sharp breath, tilting his head from side to
side for a few moments. "Well, I suppose we can. But I don't
think they would worry about me. You don't get to be my age
without some common sense to get out of a building on fire." He
smirks slightly. "But if you wish it, I shall do so."
