Taru's ears droop slightly as she listens to the two of them
speak, pretty much getting that they have no idea where they are
going. Wonderful. Who knows how long they could be wandering
for, how much food did Ventus pack? Did he pack enough? All
these thoughts cross Taru's mind as her stomach lets out a
rather loud rumble of hunger. She seems to pay no mind to it
though as she slowly opens her eyes, stepping over a sizable
root from the various trees. She peers over at Ventus, lightly
tossing her head back a bit, towards the still rather dark path
before them. It would be a bit yet before the sun would rise,
but they'd have to stop at some point. Taru was fairly hungry at
this point, but she did not mind to continue on walking if they
didn't...!

Marci blinked, and then sighed, before looking down to Taru,
"Hrm.. I think Taru is.. hungry.. Honestly, i could stand to eat
again myself, but theres nothing around for me.." she huffed,
and then looked up to Ventus, "I mean, don't we have to go
toward that forest of Ursidea?.. Ursa.. Ur- Whatever it was! The
bear spirit is there isn't it?" she asked in question.

Ventus scratches his head, "Well, yeah, but honestly, do eiher
of you actually know where that is located?" He would rummage in
his pack before pulling out a wrapped parcel, dangling a large
chunk of dried venison out for Taru, "Here, I think that when we
go back I'm going to be yelled at for taking a majority of food
stocks, but... People are supposed to go hunting for Derius
anyway, so figured, why not?"

Taru rumbles happily, swiftly attempting to snag the dried hunk
of meat from Ventus, but careful as always. And yeah, they were
supposed to hunt for Derius! The large bear huffs softly,
chewing contently on her snack. Marci was right though, there
really was nothing around here from the sounds of it. It was
very quiet, and Taru was quite sure she knew the way to the
forest, but how was she supposed to tell them? The bear sighs,
shaking her head a bit. It would be fine for now, she
supposed... Not like they were walking into intimidate danger or
anything, or walking into the Wald! Taru shutters a bit, that
place was dark and scary. Alvar had told stories of it and all
the dark things that lived there, but he could have been
exaggeration. He was old, he did that sometimes, but sadly, he
was not always that far off... He really liked to make things
seem worse than they were, especially things that were dangerous
to them, or at least Ventus.

Marci sighed, "I knew we should have asked for Uncle Alvar to
come..." she shook her head, eying the forest around them.
"Didn't M--eerr Talia mention we were going through that place
when we were kids.. Before we got to the valley?...." she tilted
her head, "Im sure theres got to be an old path around here
somewhere..."
Speaking of which, Talia was out on a walk, her hand unbandaged
for now, the bandaging hanging out of a pocket, as she was
walking around the hill side, she was eying her hand, flexing it
constantly to see if the crack would bold, so far it did not, it
seemed frozen in one place on her flesh.. She grumbled
something, knowing what it meant, and glad she hadn't used her
powers since it happened. But now she was tempted to see if she
could again, there always came a time when she needed to fight
after all.

Ventus would blink, turning up his nose, "We don't need Alvar."
Yup, out to prove they can do things on their own. He would huff
before blinking, "Oh right! I read about something that may
help!" He would rub his hands together, "Dunno if I can do it,
supposed to be magic pretty high up there, but...if Taru's from
the forest should be able to follow a trail from her to this
place, or even this Bear Spirit." He turns toward Taru, before
drawing symbols in the air, eyes glowing a light silver as the
traces of runes can be seen before they fade seconds later as he
draws them. One final symbol before he just blinks, nothing
seems to happen...seems... He huffs, "Well...that was a waste of
time."
Talia might see the smoke rising over the hills and Derius would
likely be listening to Eilik rushing back and forth, trying to
put out a fire he just accidentally set in the cabin.

Meanwhile, back at the house... Alvar's ears twitch as he is
quite sure someone just spoke his name. He lifts his head from
his book that he was currently writing through, only a few blank
pages remain. The old vampire peers around with a narrowed red
gaze, thinking for a few moments before shrugging. No one around
had said his name, no big deal, right? He then goes back to
scribbling in the almost filled book. He is somewhere else, away
from the house, pretty much in a dark secluded room so he can
write in peace. He would not know anything of the house
currently. And Derius? Derius is sound asleep with the blankets
over his head... He is not even aware there is a fire in the
house at the moment, and without the imp there, no one to wake
him up to tell him what the fuck Eilik was doing, or that the
cabin was on fire.
Taru just kind of stands there, watching all of Ventus' fancy
runes and the such, but, it appears nothing happens. But then a
thought popped into her head. Marci had said something about a
path. There was a path! And suddenly the large bear is squirming
in place frantically, the light-bug on her nose becomes alarmed
and starts to blink rapidly as the bear twitches, trying to
contain herself. Unable to help it any longer, she hops up and
sticks her nose right to the ground. The large bears nose
wrinkles and her head tilts as she slowly moves closer to the
edge of the trees along the path, sniffing furiously as she just
kind of starts to walk along them, not even paying attention of
Ventus or Marci are following.

Marci blinks, watching Ventus, "... Nothing happened? Hrm.. You
sure you did the rune things right?" she questioned, as she
looked at Taru, and rose an ebony brow, "Taru, where are you
going?!" she murmured. Before looking back to Ventus.
Talia sighed, and slowly let her hand light fire, wiggling her
fingers, she held it for a moment, and offered a smile, before
she cringed, and let the fire go out, holding her hand, the
crack flowing red as if fire seeped in it somehow, before
another crack sported down her hand, she grit her teeth, and
growled, with a very irritated sigh, and looked up, becoming
lost in thought a moment, as she thought about her loved ones,
and Eilik more so. All before she stopped, completely. Was that
smoke? "... Oh im going to kill them..." she grunted, turning to
run back to the house, as fast as she could.

Ventus would sigh, peering to Marci, "Yes I'm sure, but I'm not
entirely experienced enough ye-...Marci, why are you naked?" He
just kind of stands there, dumbfounded, kind of just in that
whole stuttering male stereotype. All the while in his head he's
going: "LOOK AWAY! LOOK AWAY OH GODDAMN IT WHY CAN'T I LOOK
AWAY!?"
Eilik would be rushing back and forth from their water supply to
the fire that was currently just contained to the roof,
eventually just picking up water barrels by the whole, chucking
them at the fire, "WHY. WON'T. YOU. GO. OUT!?"

Marci would blink, looking down at herself to make sure, "... Im
not naked!" she looked up at him, "WAIT. YOU SEE ME NAKED! WHY
ARE YOU LOOKING?!" She reached her hands up to cover over her
clothed breasts, she was just staring at him now, her face going
back red.
Talia would rush back into camp, glaring at Eilik, "WHAT THE
HELL HAPPENED?!" she yelled at him rather angered, as she came
walking in. Nina was also running around in the back ground,
muttering to herself, as for Xon, he was leaned up against the
tree, pointed toward the camp now, asleep.
