Marci rolled her eyes, "I. Can see in the dark just fine.. No
one else here can see as good as i can, Ventus.... Well in the
dark.. I DIDN'T MEAN BECAUSE YOU WORE THOSE THINGS ON YOUR
FACE!! Hah.. I personally think they are cute! imean.." she
growled a bit to herself, and just slapped herself in the face
rather hard, hard enough to leave a red mark at least.
As Ventus led them, they were going from green soft plains,
where the safety of the family outpost sat, and toward part of
the dark forest they were in not that long ago. They would be
walking on grass, no paths in this place. As tall green grass
went to tall healthy looking brown barked trees, the leaves dark
and flush, and the sounds, and looks of fresh life. Fireflys
always lit the forest, it sometimes made it look like wisps
floating about, there were always high beehives somewhere
around, usually near large bush flowers, where bees always
buzzed, and of course the sounds of colorful birds always
floated about, night and day.

Ventus lowers his head, slouching forward a bit as he presses
his glasses to his nose, "Hey, leave my lack of eyesight out of
it. It was fine a few years ago." He mumbles before his foot
connects with the root of a tree, and yes, he goes sprawling
forward. His glasses and the book go flying a few feet in front
of him as his face connects with the grass. Thankfully his foot
had not caught itself on the root, so there was no snapping
sound nor sprain in his leg but he did lay there for a moment,
uncertain if he had just knocked himself silly, or completely
fed up with his luck.

Taru watches Ventus faceplant. The large bear's ears droop a
bit, watching him just lay there. She felt kind of bad, tilting
her head a bit before slowly hobbling over to her fallen friend,
now trying to stick a rather wet and cold nose into his ribs
softly with a worried whine. She looks back up to Marci,
confused as to why humans could not see so well in the dark.
Taru did not have all that great night vision either, but she
could sense the life around her... so, she really did not count,
she supposed.

Marci let out an 'eep' and gasp, as she reached forward from
where she was standing, as if to catch Ventus, but.. well it
just didn't happen.. She cringed as she saw him fall, and lie
out on his face, and then with a twitch of her small pointed
ears, and a droop of her head as Taru looked at her. She floated
up, and over Ventus, reaching out into the darkness of the
trees, grass, and leaves, grabbing at his glasses so they
wouldn't be lost or crushed, and then she returned to Ventus
himself, reaching down, as if to offer a hand, "Come on.. We'll
help you up." she smiled awkwardly.

Ventus would grumble, holding in a chuckle as Taru's nose dug
into his ribs. HEY A GUY'S TICKLISH. The boy would push himself
up, grabbing onto Marci's hand before pulling himself to hist
feet, rubbing at his nose, "I'm getting really sick of this.
Always happening, I trip over things, or I get grabbed by
things, or I fall off cliffs." Yup, that's happened before at
least once, it's had to. He would squint before snatching his
glasses from Marci's hand, muttering a "Thank you." He rubs his
hands together a bit, before blowing into them, a small orb of
fire lighting aflame before he tosses it into the air, the small
flame levitating just above his head before he wipes the dirt
off his face with his sleeves, "Maybe now I won't go tripping
over my own feet."

Taru tilts her head from side to side as a small fire bug
suddenly floats past her maw. Her attention is instantly drawn
to the small glowing bug, letting out soft rumbles as she takes
a few step after the small bug before it promptly just lands
right on the tip of her nose. With that, she huffs, unamused
with the bugs unwillingness to join in on a game. She swiftly
turns and hobbles back over to Marci and Ventus, eying the small
orb of fire just about Ventus' head. The bear blinks, tilting
her head a bit... thinking that was quite a bad idea to have
fire that close to her head! But it was not like she could say
anything, and smacking one of her paws at Ventus would just be a
bad idea, likely smacking him upside the head, or worse! Taru
lightly shakes her head and huffs, the light-bug still on the
tip of her nose...

Marci sighed as the glasses were snatched from her hands, she
floats back, and lands back on her feet, watching the fire orb
float around, "Be careful okay Ventus?.. We are in the forest..
Don't catch anything on fire!" she offered a nod, before her
eyes went wide, "I MEAN. I know you can handle your magic stuff!
i don't have to tell you that i know!" she then just snapped her
mouth shut again, shaking her head a bit to herself.
Suddenly, as the light bug on Taru's nose would start to flicker
it's tail light, on and off, on and off. A few other light bugs
would float down, and land on Taru's fur, all flashing their
lights, as if it was some sort of, dance on a bear party.

hand through the floating orb of fire.

Taru blinks, watching Ventus shove his hand through the
fire-orb. Almost in an instant, Taru now in a nearly panicked
state attempts to tackle Ventus and the fire orb, possibly
smacking into Marci as well if she was close enough. She knew
that orb was a bad idea, it was just terrible! Maybe he needed
enchanted glasses that let him see in the dark... Genius, Taru.
Genius. At any-rate, Taru is likely going to smoosh Ventus and
the fire orb here in a few moments.

Marci blinks, and then her eyes go wide, as she starts to flail
her arms around at Ventus, trying to tell him no, before...
Nope. To late. Marci stood there as Taru most likely tackled
Ventus, and tackled right into her.. Look at it this way..
Ventus is in the middle this time.
