Marci smiled brightly, and nodded, rushing out of the room like
an excited child, holding the book tightly to her chest! A book
to share with Ventus!? PHUCKYEAH.
Talia chuckled, grabbing a bowl, she filled it with some stew,
and grabbed a spoon, plopping down on the ground, near the fire,
as she started to eat, they may have not been queen or king
anymore, but hey! she loved Nina's cooking, and the cooking was
good.

Ventus watches Talia for a moment before he sets the now empty
bowl on the ground, crossing his arms, "When do you think
Eilik's going to finally make good on his promise?" He says in
an exasperated sigh. It was true, five years in the making and
shit still wasn't happening.

Marci cracks the door, hearing this with a twitch of her pointed
ears, pausing in the shadows to listen, the book being held in
her off hand, her other hand on the door handle.
Talia sighed, and placed her bowl down, peering up to the boy,
"Ah... You know Ventus, if you think about it, we've sort of
become your family right? I know you want your parents back, and
i would never say anything to stop you from doing it.. But you
know, if it's possible, and they are brought back, they will
remember you as a child.. You being grown up could be quite a
shock for them, if they even have their last memories of life...
And, when they finally come to know what happened, they'll take
you away most likely.. They won't let you, or want to live
around us.. They probably won't like a giant bear following you
around, like Taru.. And Marci.. Shes a vampire, i don't know how
your parents felt about such things, or if they feared them at
all..." she tilted her head, peering to him. "But." she
murmured, before he would be able to throw some sort of tantrum
or argue. "I believe if you ask Eilik, and we talk about it, we
can leave as soon as you want, within reason. You're grown up
now.. You've grown smart, and hold a promising power, so. Eilik
can't make up that thing about baby sitting nowdays.." she
offered a faint smile.

Ventus shakes his head, letting out a huff, "I know, I've
thought about that. And that's not really why anymore. I mean,
everyone's noticed it, and I've looked into it. Anytime Eilik
gets hurt, I do, and vice versa. I'd really not like to feel a
sword through my side every time he goes out to hunt." He rubs
his side, likely having something happen last night. "Really,
it's just to get that the hell away and well, if it does exist,
it may be of use later you know?" It's true, he had thought
about it for a while. His parents were always wary about the
other races, though not scared but he knew they wouldn't adjust
after five years of being gone. He twitches, shaking his head.

Talia offered a smile to him, as she pushed herself up, and
rounded the fire, sitting on her knees next to him, "Ventus..
You, Marci, and Taru.. Have been like kids from all of us, i
hope you know that.. And i hope we've taught you alot.. You
Ventus, will grow to be a great man one day, i just know it.
You're a great young man today too.." yes, she was so giving one
of those, weird, motherly speeches. She set her hand on his
shoulder, the one covered in bandages. "Just don't be strayed
down a bad path, stay true, Ventus.. And never forget who your
friends are, never hurt them.." she nodded gently, "So.. My
suggestion now, is to just ask Eilik, im sure he is eager to hit
the road again, after all, we've been here almost five years,
watching you kids grow." she smiled once more, completely
changing the subject... Weird Talia is Weird at times..
Marci would open the door, offering a smile to them both, "Hey
Ventus! Alvar gave me this book about these guardian spirit
things, he said he thinks they have something to do with all
those birds from earlier.. Wanna read it with me?!" she waved
the book happily in the air.

Ventus would give Talia a blank stare,
"Really?....Talia...you're being weird again." Before Marci
comes running up, his gaze shifting to her, he blinks, "Oh? That
one about those giant animal and whatnot? Eh, saw it once,
looked boring... the whole 'oh it's something we don't
understand so we'll make it out to be a god' type thing going on
from what I could tell." He gives an affirmative nod, stretching
a bit.

Marci pauses, and stares blankly at Ventus, before looking to
the book, "I read a page or two already.. it says nothing like
that...." she turns up her nose, "But fine, i will read it by
myself i suppose.." she would walk over, and climb up the tree,
bumping into Eilik as she tried to climb on her favorite branch,
she gave a blink, staring up at him, "... P- err Eilik?"
Talia blinks, looking to Ventus, and offering a shrug, pushing
herself up, and plopping back down where she was, picking up her
bowl of stew. "Well.. You got my answer out of it.. So go find
Eilik when you want to talk to him about it.." she nodded,
sticking the spoon in her mouth.

Ventus huffs, giving a shrug, "Fine, be all moody." He mutters,
still balancing on the back legs of his chair, "I will, I'll ask
him later."
Eilik blinks, his playing stops as Marci snaps him out of his
staring into space moment. "Hrm? Oh...what? Did I steal your
spot again?" He peers around, damn he coulda swore he picked a
different tree.

Marci blinked, and shook her head, "Mm.. Don't worry about it, i
will just go further up.. I swear Eilik your memory is fading or
something.." she offered a chuckle, before skittering up the
tree.
Talia nodded, as she would be eating away at her stew.
