Marci blinked staring at Ventus, she was ignored! and she
huffed, glancing to Alvar, giving him that '>.> phuck you'
stare, before her feet lifted off the ground, and she floated
upside down, like a bat hanging from a tree, "Come on Ventus!
You know i do it all the time.." she gave the boy a whine, her
eyes searching him for some kind of attention.
Talia.. Where was Talia! She was actually sitting in a chair, by
a side window of the cabin, the bandages off her left hand for
once, something she rarely let anyone see, not even Eilik would
get much of a look, she was eying the now, rather dried looking
crack on her hand, it still bothered her, and even unnerved her,
the crack, she could swear it grew since five years ago as
well... She huffed. Talia looked like a woman now for sure, she
was in her mid 20s, even though for a devil that didn't matter
to much, but she had clearly matured, her features probably
looked more like her mother's everyday, of course no one had her
to come pair, her head of red hair was tied back in braids, that
trailed down her back, her horns, had grown more curled with
age, the half broken one had been ground down to a neat smooth
half horn, her second pair of small horns had even grown a bit.
Her skin was back to it's guised color, a human pinkish tone,
her tail was waving a bit off the chair, she wouldn't quit
notice Kei there just yet, she was far to busy examining her
cracked skin.

Ventus would grumble, here she was blatantly ignoring Alvar.
"Not today Marci...at least wait until I'm asleep okay?" Gah,
why did he have to just give in like that? He always did,
phucking hell Ventus, just grow a spine and say no. Though she
thought he didn't know. Oh he knew, and there were ways he
wouldn't tell her he knew...one it was slightly embarrassing,
and two was a bit of magic that he had been learning. He held
out his hand for his book, waiting expectantly.
Kei would blink as she entered the room, ears twitching a bit as
her crimson eyes moved over her mother's hand. She would stand
up straight, "I'm sorry mother, I shouldn't have scared you like
that." She would move carefully over to her, still eyeing the
crack, it hadn't been something she saw all that often. She knew
every time her father had seen it he had freaked out, always
something about 'that day'. She didn't know much about what they
talked about. But always loved the stories they told, of being
Queen and King for a bit, even a short time, that impressed her.
She would remain quiet a bit as her head tilted, watching the
devil woman for a moment, the young girl would mutter, "Mother,
are you going to be okay?"
Eilik would be outside, watching the confrontation between Marci
and Ventus happen, with Alvar being there. He would tilt his
head a bit, kicking at the dirt, or so it would seem. He was
having a bit of fun, adding in another factor, as the toe of his
boot would enter a small very small shadow, before Taru would
feel it nudge her a bit.

Alvar tilts his head from side to side, letting out a soft
chuckle. "C'mon, Marci. I do have to get hunting here soon, Taru
didn't go out to get anything for Derius either so I have to
drag back something extra for him to eat tomorrow. Plus, Ventus
really needs to get on that book." He mutters, suddenly sticking
his hands into the giant front pocket, fumbling around with some
stuff... as he suddenly pulls out a rubber ball.
Taru feels she is nudged with something, slowly her eyes crack
open as the large bear jolts up from her content slumber, the
book sliding off elsewhere. She looks around, ears flat against
her head. A low growling sound escapes her... she finds nothing.
Nodding lightly she goes to sit back down, but something doesn't
feel right. MUST have been Alvar! Or Marci. Suddenly she takes
off, bouncing around the house like some kind of racehorse,
barreling directly towards Alvar, Marci, and Ventus! But she
would be going at an angle, to avoid smacking into Ventus. This
is probably why there were not many trees around their home...
mostly just a few stumps.

Marci huffed, staring at Ventus, she found that to be a bit
insulting, but sighed, offering him the book, "Alright.. fine.."
she murmured, before looking to Alvar, take in mind she is still
upside down, floating by Ventus, "... Why do we have to go
hunting like that all the time..." she crossed her arms, and
grumbled, before well, she turned her head, catching sight of
Taru.. Oh gods, why did it look like she was coming for them...
Marci quickly floated up high in the air, so to avoid being
grabbed by the bear, looking to Alvar, soft of like, 'better run
old man' only somewhat nicer then that.
Talia looked up and sighed, she covered her hand quickly, and
started to wrap the white bandages around it again, "Ah yes, im
fine, Kei.." she smiled up to her daughter, and stood. "So your
dad find you something outside again? He acts like i would
cripple him or something!" she chuckles, which when Talia was in
a panic, it was quite possible she threatened to, she reached
out to give the shorter girl a hug, "Awe.. I can't believe
you're going hunting with your father already.... You've grown
up... so fast.." she sighs once more, her tail waving behind her
in a wag.

Ventus would blink when he saw the Taru barreling in their
direction, snatching the book from Marci. He would sidestep,
moving out of the line of impact, adjusting his glasses before
he let out a whistle, "Taru! Stop! Don't want to run in to
Alvar!"
Eilik would be chuckling to himself, shaking his head before
making his way back indoors, he had done his job. He slips
through the door just as he saw Kei squirming from the hug.
"Moom, I don't want to go hunt... Dad gets weird when he's
hungry... He plays with the people he eats." The older umbrakin
blinks, hey, he wasn't weird...okay he thinks, but still.
"How would you know that?" The girl would blink, oh shit she was
caught, and her facial expression told it. "I...uh...Uncle
Derius told me?" Smooth, really smooth. Though it was true, when
Derius was awake she was likely attempting a conversation with
him. Though unknown if he had actually said anything like that.

"Because, Marci. It is better to be fully fed and prepared for
anything. You never know when you might run into trouble. Plus,
do you -really- want to loo-er-listen to Derius complain until
he gets enough to eat? I don't know about you, but personally, I
prefer to keep him well fed so he just sleeps most of the damned
time. But if you don't want to go tonight, feel free to stay
behind. But I don't want to hear any asking for leftovers or
anything." Alvar blinks, turning in time to watch Taru's amazing
feat!
Taru blinks as she hears Ventus call out. Don't run into Alvar,
don't run into Alvar. And on a dime, Taru digs her claws into
the ground to try and stop herself from slamming right into the
vampire. The dirt flies in different directions as the massive
bear comes to a grinding halt, the tip of her nose barely
touching the palm of Alvar's hand that he had pulled out in
front of him as if to stop the large creature from smacking into
him! Taru just kind of sits there, blinking as she carefully
yanks her large paws from the dirt, shaking them free of the
dark bits of soil. She shakes her head, one ear perked up, the
other drooped. She looks between Alvar, Marci, and Ventus,
slightly confused as if not even knowing why she was in her
current spot.
Derius would now be laying on the floor in the hallway, snoring
loudly. The imp was sitting on Derius' back, letting out a
small, irritated sigh as he lightly tugs at the mans ears
softly. "Hey, lazy ass... Er. Derius." The imp mumbles out,
tugging at his ears again. "C'mon. Upsy-dasies! Dinner time!" To
no-avail, Derius just grumbles something and rolls his head to
the side, still out like a light.

Talia sighed, pulling out of the hug, "Kei.. You have to go
hunt, and learn.. it is really the only way you will survive
when you're on your own one day... So you have to learn,
especially from your father.." she murmured, before looking up
to Eilik, "And you do get weird when you're hungry...." she
offered a smirk to him, her right hand still resting on Kei's
shoulder.
Marci floated back down to stand next to Ventus, ".... Taru...
What are you doing?" she mumbled, eying the bear a bit. Nina was
sitting over by the fire chuckling, watching the commotion of
the children and Alvar. Xon was sitting on the otherside of the
tree, as he often did away from the group, peering up at the
sky, ever silent.

The girl would let out a groan, peering over to Eilik, "I told
you! Even she thinks you're weird." Eilik grumbles, sticking his
tongue out at the two of them, "Yeah, yeah, think I'm weird, at
least I'm not messy like your uncle." It was true, at least
Eilik didn't come back covered in blood. The girl would huff,
peering between her parents, "Fine... I'll go...but no
promises."
Ventus would blink before reaching out and patting Taru on the
head, "So, what's up this time?"

Taru's ears slowly droop as she offers a soft, confused whine.
She would then sit back, lifting a paw and poke herself! Someone
or something had poked her! But she was quite glad she was not
able to tell them she had instantly though it was Marci or
Alvar. The large bear now just kind of sits there, head lowered
with another whine, apologetically.
Alvar lets out a soft sigh, just shaking his head. "Don't tell
me it was that invisible bunny again. If you keep following it,
one day you will end up right off a cliff." He chuckles darkly,
smirking a bit before turning and nodding to Marci and Alvar...
then promptly vanishing into the darkness, off elsewhere quickly
and whatnot.

Talia sighed, "Trust me Kei, you will thank your father one day,
now get ready to go with him, okay? Make sure you take your
weapons with you... But be careful not to shoot your father....
Okay?" she nodded, letting Kei go. Before the female looked up
to Eilik, and smiled.
Marci blinked, and huffed, "And... You ever think i'd like to go
hunting by myself, Uncle Alvar!... We've been doing it for
years.. Besides, nothing can stop me around here.... I could go
off on my own for a night.." she offered a pout, before smiling
toward Ventus, shyly folding her hands behind her back, "Unless
uhm.. Ventus wanted me to stay here and help him study some~"
she hummed.
