About fifty lights would turn on emitting from the flashlights
of rifles, all aimed toward the three, all around the outermost
ring of the room. There would be soldiers wearing what looked
to be gas masks attached to their helmets all standing as if
waiting for the order. A voice would break out, "Ah, we have
guests, I hope you found your time at United Corporation
educational?" Sounds of footsteps could be heard from the
opposite end of the room that they had entered, a man with sleek
black hair, wearing a dark suit would be walking toward them.
His eyes would be bright green, hidden behind a pair of glasses.

Alice grunted, stepping back to be close to Kai and Eilik, eying
the man walking toward them, she stayed silent.

Kai's ears by now would be a bit longer, they stick flat against
his head, covered in a light colored fur matching his hair.
Likely they would not notice though, his gaze as well intently
upon the stranger approaching them. A low growl would escape his
throat as his eyes narrow upon the man in anticipation.

Eilik would turn his nose up, "What is this?" He would spit.
The man would blink, "Oh? Don't you know?" He would frown a bit
before an impassive look returned to his face, "This is United
Corporation's prized research, it's a wormhole. Or at least, the
focal point of one." He clears his throat, "Forgive my rudeness
but we've not much time here I'm afraid." This sentence would
slip out before a claw would reach out of the orb, grabbing
Eilik by the back of his collar, causing him to lose his
balance, he would be pulled inside. There is a flash of light
before he's gone. "Oh dear...the target slipped away again." The
man shook his head, "Take these two into custody, figure out
what they know." The soldiers would cock their rifles, as a
squad would descend the stairs behind the man. The man pushed
past them as he walked back up.

Alice watched the man, before turning her gaze to Eilik, or well
where was, she gasped, "Eilik!" she looked back to Kai, a
thought crossing her mind, "Ugh.." she grabbed at his arm, and
gestured toward the orb, peering at him intently.

Kai lets out a low snarl as the men would file down the stairs
past the other. As his arm is pulled on he swerves around to
place himself between Alice and the men. Though he would step
backwards, reaching a hand back, ready to touch the orb. But it
was clear he was waiting for her to go first as he stood guard
to catch any bullets should there be any. He would not be able
to live with himself if he actually allowed a woman to get shot
while in his presence.

Alice huffed, grabbing his arm tighter, before trying to leap
into the orb, and pull him with her.

He would slowly move, her tugging seeming not to a great deal
against his abnormal strength... But swiftly he stops trying and
pretty much throws himself along with her onto the orb...
