The creature would simply catch Kai, by the throat that is,
using its thick arm to pin him to the narrow hallway's wall. His
body would block Alice's path as well. The creature would sound
like it clears its throat, To Kai, he would be able to see it
wasn't a minotaur, no, it was however a big muscular creature
with a head that most resembled a monstrous goat, its eyes
slitted in the center, pupils taking in the sight of the
werebeast. "I asked a simple question human, would you not take
the time to answer?"
Eilik wouldn't be moving, either he was out cold, or dead, it
would be unable to tell from the distance.

Alice grunted being blocked, looking up at the goat beast, "We
are here to find something... Please we mean no warm, we simply
want to get our friend.. now please let him go!" she hissed,
holding her blade to where it would be hard to see for the
creature.

Kai, mentally kicking himself, would remain silent attempting
not to freak out. Though with the lack of air would start to be
apparent, seeing as this throat was grabbed. "Human legs are so
damned slow..." Would be the most he would manage out, his blue
eyes gleaming with a well controlled rage as he starts to
struggle against the creatures gasp. By now his claws likely
digging into the creatures arm... likely not doing a great deal.
By now the fur that was covering up to his elbows would slowly
be moving onto his shoulders and chest... Likely unseen due to
his clothing!
It was in this moment that Kai realized... He makes a good
decoy.

The creature would inhale deeply, he doesn't need to see to know
what Derius is. It would loosen its grasp just enough to let the
air flow but he wasn't going to put this one down, it was just a
tad dangerous.
"You misunderstand me I think. I do not want to kill either of
you." The goat-thing would snort, "I kindly ask you to leave
this place."

Alice huffs, "Then.. Could we please get our friend you threw
against the wall over there first?" she muttered, lowering her
head, "And why ask us to leave, why are you guarding this place,
is there something so important here?"

Kai lets out a sigh of relief as the air would be allowed back
into his lungs, his eyes intently upon the creature... Though
now with far less anger and more curiosity. With his renewed
breath, he speaks rather hoarsely. "We came here to seek
something... I am not sure what, but he wanted to find
something." He lightly tilts his head, motioning towards Eilik
slumped against the wall.

The creature would narrow its eyes on Kai, "That man is not who
you think he is. I believe he is not who he thinks he is. I
cannot let you pass." Eilik would groan, holding the back of his
head, he would blink, shaking his head. "Ngh... my head..." He
would peer at his hand, which, would be blood free even though
by the smear on the door it should've been bleeding immensely.
"Now, I can let you two go free. That man will be staying
however." It would snort again.

Alice narrowed her eyes, "I don't think so.. We're not leaving
without him." she would glance up to Kai, before glancing to
Eilik, and back to the creature, "You must understand... We have
to help him."

Kai offers a swift, curt nod. "I do not care what he might be.
We all have our secrets and things we don't even know about
ourselves... It would not be fair to just abandon him here like
that." He sucks in a sharp breath, seeming to have given up on
trying to get free of the creatures grasp.

The creature would stare at Kai, it would appear angry for a
long moment before it calmed, "When darkness falls it will be
your faults for bringing it upon Pyris, I hope you two can rest
knowing you help the Eurans rise this day." It would lower its
head, eyes staring into Kai's before simply dropping him,
carefully lifting Alice he would set her behind him so that he
could walk towards the stairwell, "I must gather the
sentries...I think I scared them." Is all the thing would say
before disappearing out the door, hooves clomping against metal.
