Re: Seeing The World : Chapter One - The Lands.

Bear blinks a bit as her two new companions take off ahead of
her. Oh, she could run quite fast, but not nearly as fast as
Jack. Nor could she fly like Petalfoot could. Sucking in a sharp
breath, she lightly shakes her head and continues on after them,
slowly moving through the grass. Her head tilts to the side a
bit, thinking. She had not had to travel so fast in such a time.
But, with a small shake of her head, she suddenly reaches
between her breasts and carefully yanks out what appears to be a
golden feather. It is not all that big, but appears fluffy and
gleaming within the light. She presses the feather of gold
against her chest, mumbling softly...
The feather would suddenly burst into golden sparkles that fade
swiftly the moment they touch her pale marked skin. And with
that, she promptly pushes up off of the grass, seeming to take a
leap... but instead starts to float freely within the air. The
skin upon her bare feet and hands have a slight glow as she
starts to float off after the two of them, carelessly upon an
unknown breeze. The feathers from the bird of a titan were quite
the gift.

Tenish would stick close to the mountain as he rose, making sure
he didn't crash into them, his right hand coming out as a
glowing orb of light would gather in it, his other hand
gathering darkness as he flew blindly up, a dark orb collecting
before occasionally he would toss it away. Fuck you darkness, he
is Tenish.

It took a few long moments, maybe about ten, and suddenly,
Tenish would burst out of the dark misted clouds, as he shot
past the top of the wall, and if he would gaze down, he would
see a vale blanket of blackness, even darker then the outer
clouds, if Tenish would watch closely enough, he would see vague
spots that were open in the clouds, but quickly closed, what he
saw under them, would be what looked like ground. Maybe it was
hallow, with a valley inside?
Jack would rush up to the bottom of the mountain base, and let
out a whine.. Why wasn't he born with wings mother?! he
wondered, and stared up at the sky, wondering if his brother was
okay, he sniffed the air.. He couldn't even smell him. He looked
around, his ears twitching, he started walking the wall, before
after a few minutes, he came across what looked to be a small
crack in the wall face, a door way into inner caverns. He hopped
up a bit, climbing into the hole, and squeezing his way through
the cavern front, let's see if he can get through on this side..
He would simply vanish inside. it is Jack after all.

Bear just kind of continues to float along, her eyes now closed
as she lets the magic guide her careful path. She even leans
back a bit, lifting her arms to cross them behind her head as
she just kind of continues to float along though the darkness
without even batting an eye lash. Having been near this mountain
for such a time, it was not all that surprising or anything in
the slightest way. Even as she reaches the top of the wall, with
just a slight turn, her floating is adjusted, most likely slowly
following somewhere behind Tenish, no longer able to sense Jack.

Tenish would float there for a moment, at least until Bear
caught up, he knew Jack would find a way to follow. His eyes
would scan the are below, sitting for a moment, before he dives
for one of the openings. He'd like to see the ground when he's
landing thank you.

As Tenish dove in, the hole he dashed into would be quickly
swallowed by darkness, and as Tenish jetted down, he may find it
a bit off, as his eyes would have to adjust to the sudden night
appearance of darkness. As he got closer to the ground, he would
probably find himself landing in a small clearing in a far to
dense forest to describe, it was a Wald, the trees almost knit
to tight to move through, the inside of this large ever going
valley, was lit dark and gave a blueish glow. The grass was
grayish it seemed, and the tree leaves were like winter leaves,
all either fallen off of the dark wood trees, or gray, some even
a purpleish tent, then again in darkness it was always hard to
tell what colors truly were.

Tenish would land in the clearing, his eyes not having to adjust
much, hew as from the north after all, he was used to nigh
eternal darkness. His feet landing on the ground, the crunching
of leaves under his bare toes. His gaze would peer down at them
as he wiggles his toes a bit, he enjoyed the feeling of dead
leaves under his feet it seems.

Tenish would hear many ravens and crows in the area let out
craws as he landed, the chatter of them carrying it seemed. And
not to long after their craws, a few vicious sounding snarls and
barks could be heard, something Tenish would know from his time
in the north, that was the sound of two male werewolves going at
it like they were in rutting season, a common thing, rather it
was over a female, or for territory, or even dominance. The
Snarls and growls weren't to far away actually, Tenish would
probably he on a hill, and if he stepped up to try and get a
look at where the sounds were coming from, he'd find they were
just below him a few yards.

Tenish would take a few steps forward before crouching down on
all fours quickly, face scrunching into a sneer. Oh mother, he
stumbled upon two fighting males, he was smaller. Yes, he could
take them out likely, but he really did not like to get in the
middle of such things, there were more than a few scars on his
body, and most of them were not made by Jack alone. He crouches
low, as to make him harder seen, too bad he rarely bathes, only
normally when Jack reminded him to, and it had been a while
since he had been travelling with his brother. He watched the
two wolves carefully with violet eyes, studying them for a
moment, they were a bit different than the ones at home.

The male would see two, large males going at it, they were
already torn up, blood covered their black, and brown pelts, one
was bigger then the other. Something Tenish would know to be a
big deal in the werewolf world, if you were smaller, count
yourself fucked. Luckily for Tenish even though his scent
carried, they would be far to covered in the smell of blood to
care at the moment, they didn't catch it on the wind, not when
their minds were on each other. These males had to be fighting
over dominance, there were no females around, none that Tenish
could see at least, and neither had a pack, though for Tenish to
see male wolves on their own, that would be normal to him, up
north males traveled mainly alone when they hit maturity.
The males would stand off a bit, walking on all fours in a
circle around one another, before suddenly, the large male
pushed himself up, and forward, he barreled after the smaller
male like he was about to be road kill. And he came at him with
full force, tackling him down, the larger male with his brown
bloodied pelt, stabbed his claws into wolf, pushing him down on
his back, a horrible position to be in, those claws went deep
into male's chest, before the wolf ripped them out viciously,
and the one on his back let out a blood curling howl of pain, it
was all the little male could do to even bat at the one on top
of him, the male on top reached down, pushing his enemies maw
and face aside with his claws digging in, his large maw opened,
and he dove in, grabbing the little one's whole neck. This male
was massive, and it was clear what he was about to do, and a
second later, the male jerked his head as he clamped down on the
neck, and even from where Tenish was sitting, there would be a
sickening snap and crunch heard, as the male's neck snapped in
half, and his windpipe was crushed away to nothing. The small
creature falling limp instantly, it was over, the male was dead,
but the larger beast didn't stop there, he reached his claws
down to grip into the shoulder's of the corpse, and with an
eager pull and yank, the smaller wolf's head came clean off. The
male stood, and grabbed the bloodied head, holding it up in the
air, he let out a victory howl.
One greeted by many others from the area, howls of
congratulations, and howls of hatred, filled the air. Before it
just all went silent, and the male threw his dead enemies' head
to the dirt. Gods the wolves here were somehow more aggressive
then in the North, here was a whole different ball game it
seemed. And just as that, it seemed the large male hadn't caught
onto Tenish quite yet still.
