Re: Seeing The World : Chapter One - The Lands.

Jack looked to his brother, as if he were going to smack him for
his jokes.. Was Jack just getting at that age where he was
starting to get old and couldn't laugh at jokes? NO! NOT THAT!
The wolf shook his head repeatedly. And suddenly dropped on all
fours, and ran off down the one way path of grass, he just
needed to run! Maybe running would reverse his age or
something?! YES THAT HAD TO BE IT... And then.. As he was spaced
out, a few yards away, he smacked face first into a tree, going
at a high speed. Just sort of flopping back, offering flails
with his paws, before going still..

Bear merely smiles, chuckling a bit. "It may sound a bit odd as
to what I have lost, but, it is a child." She tilts her head to
the side a bit, watching the wolf dart off ahead of them. "Well,
a cub to be more precise." She mutters softly, lightly shaking
her head as she continues on after them, seeming ready to burst
out into a full out run should Petalfoot do the same after his
kin.

"Hrm...A cub that acts strange?" The angile would blink,
bouncing on his heels before breaking out into a full sprint to
catch up with his brother, sliding to a stop once he smashed
into the tree. He blinks, walking up to the werebeast before
nudging him with his toe.

Jack twitched, pushing himself up, he grabbed onto his brother,
licking his face, before slowly, he turned. And walked -AROUND-
the tree, before he would go about rushing off again!

"Well. She is not strange per-say, depending if you know whom
her parent is." The woman mutters, easily dashing along to catch
up to them. "Does he do this often?" She asks, infering to Jack
running about wildly like he was currently.

Tenish would wave it off like it wasn't unusual. "Likely going
through another mid-life crisis. He's had one of these at least
once every couple of weeks by now." He would watch Jack as he
continued to walk this time, not wanting to be tired out
already.

Jack would have rushed forward only a bit, as the forest started
to clear, and it became more and more like grass lands, with
trees every once in a while clustered together. Jack started to
slow down, walking on all fours, he would look about, seeing the
plains were filled with bears which were lounging around, there
was a river near by, where many of the bears sat by. And there
were herds of elk running around over the hills, so beautiful,
the land of Ursidae was truly a sight. And the bears were all
well mannered too, pretty nice compared to the frost bears up
north.
Jack slowly came to a stop, as he looked up past the long lands,
seeing a large blackish wall of mountain, tree spikes sticking
out of the sides of it, as if there were once forests and grass
land there, but some sort of deformation had occurred, it was a
wall that basically ended the Bear's territory, it was massive,
and a mist of black hung around the wall's peaks, it looked like
a horrifying black fortress, but it was just all black rock.
Jack pushed himself up on two legs, eying the place a bit, what
was inside? or was anything inside for that matter..

Bear nods lightly as they walk. "Interesting, so it is something
I should be expecting, I suppose." She murmurs a bit, tilting
her head to the side with a faint laugh. "At least it wont be
dull, hm?" She manages out as they made it to the grasslands
finally. It was one of her favorite places in her home, aside
from the black rock that swirled with darkness that set as a
divide for her forest and the rest. But she had long since
gotten over how it ruined the view when gazing at the stars in
the field and was like a black void of nothing against the night
sky.
As they enter the planes, she turns her head over to eye a group
of the bears, seeing to be sure the cubs had made it back on
their own. With a pleased sounding growl she could hear from
their mother, they had made it back without a scratch. Slowly
she moves her hands to rest upon her bare hips, sighing softly
as she stares up towards the dark mountain, suddenly wishing she
had grown the trees to be tall enough to block the view of it.
But it took a long time for trees like that to grow, they were
much better when grown naturally than forced. "Hum."

The angile shakes his head, "Not dull at all." He would peer
around occasionally letting out a sigh, well, at least there was
another person here now. Not that he talks much but at least it
wasn't someone consistently claiming he was the most despicable
thing they've seen. As they reached the wall Tenish would peer
up at it before clicking his tongue against the roof of his
mouth. Jack would know this as something he does when he's
curious, and sure enough, his wings spread and he pushes himself
into the air, wanting to see what was over the wall.

Jack paused, looking back, uh oh. There was that click. And
yep.. As he looked back, his brother was already up in the air,
flying toward the giant wall.. They were still maybe half a mile
away from it, but the way Tenish flew, he'd be there in no time.
Jack turned back around in a whiping way, and suddenly bolted
toward the mountain walls, he was running as fast as he could so
he could meet Tenish there. And if there were no entrances at
the foot of the wall, well.. Jack could climb pretty well too.
As Tenish flew off, and got closer to the giant wall, he'd be
able to see that the mountains were almost cracked looking, the
black misting steam would be flowing out of the rock face,
perhaps a volcanic type of formation? The trees that were left
on the side of the wall, were pointed out, like defending
spikes, and they were black, and over the time, were clearly
hardened. And as Tenish got future up the mountain, and flew
into the voided mists, he would be able to make out what were
dragon bones, that were impaled on the higher spikes.. Perhaps
they were flying and were blinded, and then smacked blindly into
the mountain side, leaving them to a painful and slow death. In
fact Tenish may even have this issue as he flies through the
black clouds, being blinded by them perhaps briefly. But it
would be almost as if the mountain did not end up ward, since
the top was completely covered in black void, it was hard to
tell where it began and ended.
