The angile's brows furrow, he peers off into space for a moment.
FUCK...what did people call his kind again? "Angile." He would
nod, yeah, that was it. He would blink, head tilted. She wanted
him, the angile raised by wolves to act like a normal person...
She does not know of the can of worms she could open up right
here and now. He snorts before placing the puppy on the ground,
scratching it behind the ears. His stomach growls before he
huffs, crouching down now, thinking to himself what the best
course of action would be now. He still had no idea where that
spirit of his brother were...and he likely shouldn't tell Jack
when he finds him that he had attacked one of the
werewolves...and then was attacked...he'd be chewed out, again
his ears flick a bit.

Zaxus watches him a moment, "Angile eh?.. Hrm.. Well.. Tenish."
she looked around, "I bet you're pretty hungry, even if you did
break into every food store the village has, and ate at least
half a pound of garbage..." she tilted her head a bit, watching
him. "But thats normal."

His stomach churns at this, making an odd face he would let out
a huff. "That's disgusting..." He wasn't a scavenger, eating
trash...that's just plain demeaning. He crosses his arms,
peering at the woman, "Have you seen a large wolf creature?
About this tall?" He would stand on his toes, reaching a hand
up. "Missing an eye, often seen just running around
frantically?" He would finally decide to ask. He had just been
reunited with his brother, he didn't need to lose him again.

Zaxus stared at him a long moment, "You realize.. We're in a
valley filled with 'large wolf creatures'... If you mean one
that is white like her." she gestured to the pup now trying to
chew on her boot. "No. I haven't heard any reports of a white
werebeast..Then again this village stands on the edge of the
valley, the only port here.. He maybe in the lower parts? Maybe
we should ask Raven... She has 'eyes' all over the Wald." she
offered a shrug, "Food first though hmm? Im sure if it is an
adult male, he will be able to defend himself.. I don't know
what the wolves are like from your.. White Vale.. But im sure
they are just as strong and vicious yeah?" she turned, walking
over toward a cabinet, opening it, she pulled out cloth wrapped
lamb leg, and then closed the door to the cabinet of preserved
food, she walked back over and offered it to him, it wasn't even
cooked.

Tenish would nod, "He looks like a big-...." Food, and it wasn't
the kind of blue cow either...he would snatch it, dropping back
onto his ass as he tore into the leg, ripping off a piece with a
hand he would offer it to the little pup as he was gnawing on
the gristle of the bone. Like he gave a shit that it wasn't
cooked. He sat legs crossed, tearing away at the meat with his
teeth.

Zaxus offered a chuckle watching him, waving her hand about,
"Oh... I bet this white vale place.. Must be a place like this
one. You should tell me more about it sometime.." she snickered,
she seemed to enjoy watching people rip into their food. It
reminded her of when she was little, in her bounded group. The
puppy would sniff the meat, and take a little, but let's face
it, this puppy was probably still being whined, but she did TRY
to eat the meat best she could. Zaxus watched the puppy a few
moments, before shaking her head, stepping over to look out the
window. "Mmmm... It's around that time of night again."

Tenish would look up from his ripping and tearing, eyebrow
raised, "That time, what's that mean?" He swallows wiping his
mouth with the back of his hand, "And no...this place has
trees...it's nothing but snow where I come from, ice. Beasts
that if they catch you after dark with no light, you're dead."
He nods, "Rocks that come alive and try to crush you if you're
not careful." Not really, but you said something about giants
that looked like mountains so...he thinks they are living rocks.
He would peer down at the puppy before reaching down, tearing
the piece of meat he had set down into smaller bits so she
didn't choke herself.

Zaxus narrowed her icy blue eyes to stare out side in the
darkness more deeply, "Sounds exciting.. Here we have hordes of
vampires, bird demons, werewolves, banshees, goblins... etc..
Nothing to special. i don't think.." she huffed, "And i mean
that time of night this village gets attacked.. Bah.." she walks
over, grabbing her scythe that was leaning against the wall, "If
it isn't berserking werewolves.. it's banshees trying to steal
everyone's soul, or vampires coming in looking for easy meals..
of hell, even goblins trying to steal away the children..." she
looked back to him, "Fun life isn't it? Oh and thats all not
including the one time of year the nightmares come back.. Those
are real fun.." she chuckled weakly.
The puppy wagged her tail, eatting up the smaller bits.

The angile blinks, raising an eyebrow, "...So?" He would take
another bite from the leg, "Humans unable to defend themselves?"
He would peer at her with a questioning look. This seemed to
confuse him, though in his opinion if one was old enough they
had to at least try...of course others would be willing to help
but one person couldn't be expected to protect a whole village
by themselves. He would let out a snort, "If they dislike what
you are why help?"

Zaxus sighed, and looked back to Tenish, "Because... They don't
know im one.. Funny enough... They don't make friends with me,
and all they care about is that im their 'hero'... it's been
this way since i was sixteen... When i came to this village as a
little girl i was a street rat you know... i didn't have any
family, and no where to live, and i was treated like dirt..."
she looked out the window, "By these very people.. But when i
killed the first berserker that came to this village.. people
gave me the world.. Funny, how i went unnoticed until that heart
skipping moment..." she offered a shrug, "but i do it now,
because what else would i do, if i did not protect them? I don't
really understand why so many humans come to the Wald and
settle... but humans are pretty rare these days.. i suppose i am
just trying to keep them all alive? i don't really understand
my reasons myself...."
