Re: Seeing The World : Chapter One - The Lands.

The man would lose his tenseness as this thing walked into their
path, his hand moving away from the sword. It wasn't the sight
of the cubs, or the large bear with foliage growing from it
every which way, but rather the smell. Dat smell, it was
different than the devil lands, as well as the bleak north where
things barely. though his face never changed from the mask of
indifference he would squat down, preferring not to be tackled,
instead holding up a balled hand, as if saying he meant no harm.

Jack would blink, as the large mother bear spirit moved within
their path, this spirit reminded him of the wolf of the north,
he offered a submissive bow to the creature, before... YEP. He
was tackled by bears, he rolled over, and started to wiggle in
the grass, letting out whimpers of play for the bears.

With slow steps the large plant covered bear moves forward a bit
more towards the two strangers and the cubs. Her steps are
light, the grown not even shaking as she approaches. The plant
life around them continues to green and sprout, this area likely
not having been visited for a while and in need of refreshment.
Though slowly she would come to a stop still a good distance
away from them, lowering herself onto the ground nearly silently
aside from the sound of a tree moving to fit back into place
upon the grassy road. The moss that had hung from her sides now
cascaded around her upon the grass with various flowers sticking
off of the moist and chilled greenery.
The four cubs were a bit careful at first of the two, the male
had lowered himself and the werewolf had bowed. But instead of
tackling the man, they went right for the large werewolf. They
let out playful growls and gave soft, clearly non-harmful nips
to the creature. The small bears seemed to have no idea what
they were to do with a new playmate! But they would enjoy it
regardless, rolling around in the grass and whatnot.
The massive bear slowly moves a large paw around and places it
in front of her, leaning her head down and resting it upon the
just placed paw with a soft, but utterly content sigh. Finally,
the moss where her eyes were moved, fluttered for a moment,
before moving a bit... to allow the sight of bright green,
glowing eyes. She looks directly towards the male, slightly
tilting her head to the side as the large yellow bird finally
takes back to flight, returning back to his place upon the
branch that extended from behind the spirits ear. With her
laying like this with her head down, it was now much easier to
see all of the pretty flowers that had grown upon her back. The
red flowers seemed to open up more, the scent they were giving
off becoming just a bit stronger as the tips of the petals show
small bits of pink and yellow. For now she merely lays there to
observe, taking the chance to get a small break from tending to
the four little cubs that so desperately wanted someone to play
with.

Tenish would...just watch this thing. Glance going back to his
brother and the cubs before it rested on this large bear once
more. He would idly cross his arms, violet gaze peering over the
various flora that had grown on this being. His own head tilted
a bit. This wasn't something he had seen before.

Jack sat up, pawing playfully at the bear cubs, before he looked
up toward his brother, he had seen that look of puzzlement
before... And offered, what little wolfish insight he could
give, in various grumbles, growls, and waving his paws around,
as if trying to tell him, that well... He had seen something a
long time ago like this, in the north. No flowers though... He
gestured that last part by pointing at the flowers growing out
of the bear.

AND SHE TOO would merely continue to lay there quietly, starting
to nearly blend in with the grass if not for the red flowers
upon her back. The various shades of green she was had started
to slowly turn to match the color of the grass... causing her to
look like a giant hill with a branch sticking out of it, with a
bunch of pretty red flowers. Though bits of the moss covering
her massive form would remain darker than the rest, so she was
not just some random kind of hill now blocking their path.
Three of the four cubs still seem quite amused with the large
werewolf, now standing around him at either side while he waves
his hands about, generously waiting for him to finish trying to
explain to his friend. The one to the werewolfs left would let
out a low rumbling sound, looking up at the massive werewolf
with a bit of confusion, likely asking what he was trying to
explain to his friend. Though, the one cub that had already
stopped playing, was over near the male, looking up at him with
large brown eyes that hold a small bit of confusion at his
puzzlement. Slowly the other cubs turn to look at the one cub
standing beside the male, blinking a bit with their heads lifted
a bit and tilted somewhat curiously.
Carefully, the cub most distanced from the others hobbles up and
carefully attempts to lightly nudge the flat of its little head
against his left leg, in the direction of 'The Great Mother'. If
they could talk with the bear's here, or mostly anywhere, it is
what they would call her! Though from the stories this cub had
been told so far, The Great Mother was merely a shortened
version of the 'Great Mother of the Forest'.... or something
like that. His little head was still trying to wrap around how
no one could have never-ever met her before! Then again, these
cubs had only ever been in this forest their entire, still short
lives. Every animal in the forest knew of her, had met her at
least once in their lifetime. So, with another, much more
determined nudge at the mans leg, the cub looks up at him
expectantly, then towards the massive... nearly turned
hill-bear.
(( Alright. Phuck. Controlling nameless cubs 'es a beotch.
Giving them random names next post, mkay. ))

The angile would flex his wings a bit, blandly looking down at
the cub that was nudging his leg, he would reach a hand out to
give it a little pat on the head. Was that a smile on his face?
If it was it was gone as soon as it had appeared before his eyes
turn back toward the 'bear-shrubbery', before pushing himself
back up to stand. He would give a polite bow to the creature,
still not saying a word. But he shall show his respects, it must
be important if these cubs were freaking the fuck out over it.

Jack huffed, the large wolf looking down to the cubs waiting on
him, and the one who mumbled to him, he gave a shrug, and leaned
back on all fours. He didn't know if his brother was ignoring
him, or was not understanding him. But either way, he stalked
carefully over the cubs, and wandered boldly toward the large
bear-mound, poking his nose right in toward the large female
bear's face, to give it a good sniff.... Jack.. Not the
brightest male in the world, and now we know half the reason he
never found a mate....

The bear just kind of sits there as the wolf would sniff,
seeming not to mind in the slightest. Jack would most-likely
smell only scents of the forest and the refreshing tang and
sweetness of the flowers growing upon her hide. The large
creature slowly opens a bright green glowing eye to stare at the
wolf, now much more up close to inspect. She eyes him up and
down intently for a moment, before softening up rather
quickly... Suddenly, her free paw that lay spread out on the
other side of Jack would move swiftly, but carefully to try and
hug the wolf to herself in a form of greeting. More like smoosh
him to her lightly, being so large, it did not take much
strength to do things like that. Though her paw might have been
big enough to cover the werewolf entirely, it was clearly a
small gesture of overly friendly greeting. The bird sitting
ontop of the branch sprouting from behind her right ear coo'd
loudly, eying down at the wolf before slowly turning his
attention towards the winged man and the cub.
The cub tilts its head up, nodding lightly at the winged man.
But, it didn't seem to quite be enough to satisfy this little
bear. Carefully he nudges at the mans legs again, then darts out
in front of him and does a trotting motion. Walking. He wanted
him to walk closer. He was a smart little bear, that is forsure.
All the other cubs had followed the werewolf, keeping a safe
distance though in case he was hugged, or even licked. Which
they were right to stay out of range for that, it was no fun to
be licked and covered with freakin' moss!

Tenish would stare down at the cubs, tough he wouldn't move. He
didn't want to be hugged by this large bear.
