Re: Act I , Chapter 1: The Trial of the Man with No Memory

Eilik would flash Alice a look, "Psycho? Depends on your given
standards of psychosis, by my standards I know exactly what I am
doing and in no way have acted any crazier than the capitalist
fiends you call a race on your planet." He would place his hand
on a large switch, jerking it back as suddenly a blinding white
light would fill the cabin, the ship would jerk a bit until it
settled, seeming to smooth, though the light would still be
intense. The nanomites would form around his eyes as dark-lensed
goggles before he pressed another button, an outer layer on the
window looking out into space covers it. He would stand from the
chair, facing them both, "Okay, now that I am certain that, at
least most of the crew are under wraps, given they allowed me to
even access the ship's control functions, do either of you have
any questions? And please, do not waste my time."

Alice blinks, hearing his response, she opened her mouth, about
to give him an answer. Before suddenly.. She would fall back,
slamming into the wall next to the door way of the cabin,
"Bah.." she closed her eyes, as the light came in, holding them
a few moments actually, she was a human, but she did have
sensitive eyes, all those nights awake, and all those days
asleep makes you pay. She rubbed her eyes when the light was
gone, pushing herself up once more, looking to Eilik again with
those two toned eyes of hers. "Well. One.... Where are we
going.. Not to pull the simplest question in the book.. but...
that could go for starters..." she muttered softly, rubbing the
back of her head, lowering her gaze slightly.

Kai closed his eyes, the bright light just a bit to much for him
to take. "I don't care where we are going, how long it takes us
to get there, or who is even there. But I -really- need
something to eat. I have not eaten in what feels like days. " He
mutters this through fanged teeth, still keeping quite a tight
grip on the handle he had grabbed, his knuckles white. He just
kind of leans up against the wall, a soft huff escaping him as
he clenches his jaw a bit awkwardly. The change was slow,
especially when it was being fought against. But for the most
part, aside from the claws and dark orange fur covering him in
patches, he seemed to have it mostly under control... FOR NOW.

Alice paused, a growl from her stomach heard, she bit at her
lower lip. ".... Food... Sounds rather good actually...." she
muttered to herself.

Eilik's eyes would glance at Kai before he motioned for them to
follow him out the door, he would lead them into a larger
hallwayif they followed, as he spoke, "Where we're going doesn't
matter, not like you'll know where it is anyway. I've business
to attend and I'd rather keep past schedules." He would peer
back to Kai, "As for you, you better keep that under control
because I am not afraid to have to euthanize a canine." He would
walk into a door, which if Alice and Kai had followed them,
would lead into a cafeteria, a machine on one wall that it would
seem people were lining up at, it would seem to be dispensing a
vast variety of foods, including a variety of earth foods.

Kai would in fact follow Eilik without a word of complaint,
muttering something to himself about the canine comment. The
moment he spots the line, Kai would let out a low growl of
approval... Not wasting even a second as he swiftly moves over
towards it to get into the line to get food. It was likely they
could hear his stomach growling, at this point he cared not what
he ate, as long as he could eat something.

Alice followed Eilik, and Kai closely, listening intently, she
paused as they went into the cafeteria. Eying the line of food,
tilting her head, as she eyed the machine, she sighed somewhat,
this little line up room.. seemed to make her hunger disappear.
She infact lowered her head, eying how long the line was, she
was pretty silent too.

Eilik would move to lean against a nearby wall, the line was
actually quite short, it would appear that the cafeteria was
actually quite empty. Most of the crew would have appeared to
take eilik's suggestion, for if anyone would've looked on an
outboard window, there would be lines of escape pods leaving the
ship. The man would cross his arms, kind of tapping his fingers
against his arm as guess who comes walking up. The harpy lady
would march right up to Eilik, and literally slug him in the
face without him paying much attention.

Alice looked up, glancing over to the harpy woman, as she hit
Eilik square in the face, "..." she huffed, stepping over toward
her, as if she was about to do something. But then stopped,
crossing her arms, and watching Eilik. What could she do really?
She was a human, who left her knife back in that damn room they
ended up in when they got here, and what little powers she has
over the elements.... was shit. And she was out here with..
Harpy women, and whatever the fuck Eilik was... No point in
lifting a finger. Yet at least.

Kai turns a bit, watching the harpy walk up and hit Eilik. He
then lets out a bit of a loud whistle, grinning a bit. "I like
my women like I like my fighting instructor... Throwing punches
and on top." His ears perk up, now grinning as he looks at the
woman with a brow quirked as well. His eyes just seem to gleam a
bit, the poor guy seems quite out of his usual character, but...
its almost a better kind of change. And he was being TERRIBLY
cheesy. His stomach still rumbling... The fucck, Kai... The
fucck.
