Re: Act I , Chapter 1: The Trial of the Man with No Memory

Alice would just stand there, and blink at the general, it was
true, very true, she had been sort of annoying with the
question. One would think she wouldn't care that much anyhow,
she hadn't known Eilik, or Kai, for that long, maybe a day and a
half? She shook her head to herself, looking back up after her
zoned out moment of thought, blinking once more, eying what
Eilik became, or rather reverted to. Glancing to Kai with an odd
look of question, as if asking, what the fuck have we gotten
into? though at this point this shouldn't come to a surprise
perhaps the girl was just in denial, she had seen, an elf man,
been told they were in space headed to a planet not known to
her, trapped in a room with a werewolf, seen a bull man, an odd
orb that took them to said ship! an elf looking man, a bird
lady, many other races she had never seen passing by on the
ship, a cow that turned into a toad, that was actually a being
of true energy, and this. Eilik, who she thought was human, is
actually some guy with black skin, pointy ears, and white
hair... Life is a trip isn't it kids?
She paused, after looking at Kai, just gazing back at Eilik, now
seeming in wait to see what would happen next. Clearly this was
a fucked moment. Eilik was now, 'probably' this guy they were
talking about, so what would happen. Were they about to be
pushed aside, and Eilik taken away, or was all fuck about to
break lose? Who knew!? At this point Alice looked pretty zoned
the fuck out, just staring at Eilik.

"You know..." Kai muttered, his ears perked up a bit. His ears
gave him so much more expression, despite the grin on his face.
If he had a tail at the moment, it would have been wagging.
"I... I... This has been taxing on my mind." He might have had
something else to say, something more significant, something
more important. But whatever it was, he pushed it aside and
merely watched Eilik with a blank expression, his orange furred
ears lowering back flat against his head, giving him an almost
irritated or angered look despite the lack of expression showing
on his face. He was not sure how much time had passed already,
it felt like it had already been ages, to him at least.
He wanted to be home, in his bed, sleeping. Away from all of
this, from Alice, from Eilik, from the bird woman, from all of
it. Wrapped in his large and soft blanket, snuggled with his
back to the wall... Kai already knew the dangers of the world,
of Earth. Or at least he had thought. He was part of it, but on
a much smaller scale than this. This was something so far out of
his league that it actually scared him. But it had also crossed
his mind about something else... What else could there be on
earth like this? Were there others that hid among the masses?
There had to be, he knew. Slowly though, his head lowers as a
frown forms upon his cracked lips.

Are my plants alright....?
That thought alone made Kai cringe. [/center]

Eventually the general would peer over to Alice, a smirk on his
face, "Meet Xereth, probably the universe's most wanted." He
would motion to the man who was pushing himself up.
The man would have black skin, thin, pointed ears, at least
until they fanned out occasionally noting they were more like
fins. His eyes wouldn't actually close, though were more like a
lizard's. Red in color, and slitted. "Actually." He finally
spoke, a coldly calm voice, emanating through their thoughts. "I
am quite enjoying that name i went by while I was in
hibernation, Eilik was it? yes, that is suitable." He would seem
to stretch, rolling his shoulders as he peered out at the
gathering on the other side of the field.

Alice slowly paused, not looking to the General as he introduced
the man as, 'Xereth'. In fact she just stared at the man, eying
his figure, the odd shape of things... This guy was right out of
an Alien comic, from back home. To think... she liked those
comics...
She shivered at the sound of that voice through her head, it was
cold and collected, like an evil genius or something. That and
the fact she hated the idea of a voice in her head, a sound she
could hear, but wasn't really hearing.. Then again, who knows
how this thing was actually talking. She shook her head a
moment, reaching up to scratch at her head, her hair going into
a fluff because of it's cut. Her tone toned eyes soon shifted
to, Kai.. Who was thinking of his plants, but it wasn't apparent
to her at the time. Then to the general, who was thinking he was
so smug and right about the situation.. And then finally.. To
the fucking cow, which by now had changed three times, from a
cow, to a tree, and now to a fucking worm... Why a worm? who the
fuck knows... And then finally, her blue and green eyes turned
to 'Eilik' once more, seeming rather confused, or maybe just
-still- trying to figure him out... Who had she helped? Was he
really the universes most wanted! And if so.. fucking hell, she
had helped him, so was she with the 'badguys' in this story?

Kai's ears remain flat against his head as he stares through the
field at Eilik. His expression would remain blank, but oddly,
despite all the talk of him being the Universes most wanted...
His ears perked up. The frown slowly fades into a soft smile,
one of almost relief. Hearing the voice in his head did not seem
to bother him all to much, if anything it just seemed to
reassure him more. Carefully, Kai turns his head to look at
Alice for a short bit. He had been far to freaked out before to
even check on her. Slowly he reaches out a hand towards her,
carefully trying to poke her shoulder lightly with a still
clawed finger. There would be a slight bit of worry on his face,
but mostly masked still by the relief that 'Eilik' was still
with them, at least somewhat. "Alice...?" He manages out in an
unusually soft and light tone, quirking a brow at her as she too
continues to stare. It did not even cross his mind that they had
helped a 'bad guy' or the fact that he had even been his teacher
for some time now!

A few moments would pass as the black-skinned man would stare at
the general. He would peer to the hand that was giving him a
middle finger before it would turn into a buzzing mist,
travelling around him, as the manacles would fall to the ground.
He would rub his wrists, "So you realize, that succeeding in
waking me up before reaching your destination was a very. Bad.
Idea. Am I right Mister Jones?" He would cross his arms, tilting
his head slightly as he just stared at the man. "Oh, and
wolf-boy, your plants are likely dead, dying, and will be
rotting by the time you can ever think of returning to your
world, however." He would shift his gaze to him, "Just find a
way to remove this field, and I can personally attest to a
promise to return you home to keep your precious plants safe."
The general would shft his eyes to a keypad on the wall before
loking back to the creature in the corner. The interrogator
would seem to be having a seizure in the corner. A purple mist
now apparent to them all, though the colors changing so fast it
would seem on the verge of literally exploding.
"So what's it going to be General? Are you going to attempt to
play hero in matters well above your understanding? Or can I be
on my way?" the cold voice would once more broadcast through
their thoughts.

Alice kept her eyes on the black skinned Eilik, her ears
twitching a bit at the sound of the man talking to the General,
and Kai. Though she soon looked up to Kai as he started poking
her, whispering back to him, "... What?" she seemed a little all
over the place, shifting her weight slightly, looking up at him
with mild concern.

Kai just kind of stands there now. "The name is Kai, but I
assume you already know that and are just choosing to call me
otherwise... Those plants are kind of important." He mutters.
What the plants actually were could be brought up for debate,
Kai was likely not to speak a word of it though. His attention
now turns back to Alice though, quirking a brow as one of his
ears perk up a bit. "Are you alright...? You seem a bit here, a
bit there, a bit over there too." As he says this, he moves his
gaze back towards Eilik a moment before looking back to the
General. His gaze narrows intently, one ear remaining perked to
listen for Alice... just watching the man while waiting. He had
clearly already chosen his side, and he had a good strong
feeling Alice would choose the same.

The general would rush over to the keypad as the creature in the
corner would explode in a cloud of black smoke, a poofing noise
as it did so. Eilik would cross his arms as the nano-mites would
turn into a tapping foot, waiting. The older man would hit they
keypad, pressing a few numbers before red lights would flash
inside the 'cell'.
"Decontamination process in progress." A mechanical voice would
sound. Eilik would peer over at the two just, standing there. "A
little help if you would?"

Alice blinks, nodding to Kai, about to answer him, before the
lights started to flash, and the voice went off, "..." she
turned her eyes toward Eilik, before she looked to the general.
What the fuck was she suppose to do? "Uhh!... KAI!.." she turned
to look back at him, flailing, "Go get 'em boy!" she muttered,
pausing completely with another blink. Did she just make him
sound like a dog?
