Re: Act I , Chapter 1: The Trial of the Man with No Memory

The cow would seem to nod at the general before peering back to
Eilik, the two seemingly having a staring contest.
"I would introduce you to the interrogator but his name is not
pronounceable in audible language." The man would nod at the
'cow'. He would motion to the violet field, "Here you are, you
had asked to be taken to him."

Alice blinks, eying the cow a moment, before reaching up to
pinch the bridge of her nose. Slowly letting her hand fall, and
looks back to General, "So that... cow in there.. is somehow
interrogating him?" she looked back to the violet field when he
gestured to it, "What that thing on his head? and can they hear
us?" she muttered, glancing to the cow again, before stopping,
and blinking.

Kai slowly lifts his head, peering from behind Alice finally. He
didn't know why, he just did. He stares into the room now,
looking at the apparent 'cow' they were talking about. His jaw
just kind of drops a bit... his ears perk up somewhat, he just
looks utterly calm. What is he seeing? Who knows! But it seems
to be having a really good effect on him, even as he even slowly
moves around to stand beside Alice... just staring.

The man would blink, peering at the girl, "Sure full of
questions aren't you? That...cow...if that's what you see it as
is a Qlerk, beign made of nothing but psionic energy, capable of
breaking into most minds without even thinking about it, they
specialize in intelligence, of course." He would nod, "That
device is a psionic nullification device, also known as the
P.N.D. We take utmost precaution with dealing with wanted
criminals. And of course they can hear you! I'd just think
either they're having a battle of wits or having a nice
conversation." He would say that last bit with a tinge of
sarcasm.

Alice looked back up to the general, raising a brow, "A Qlerk
huh?.." she looked at the 'cowthatisn'tacowanymoretoher',
watching between Eilik and it, "But... Are you a hundred percent
sure that he is who you're looking for?! I mean.." she huffed,
looking back to the Qlerk, eying it up and down with her two
toned eyes, muttering something about how her life just gets
more exciting with every hour...

Kai slowly lifts a hand, lightly rubbing his chin in thought. He
seems much calmer now, the orange fur slowly vanishing from his
face. Though his ears would remain, twitching upon occasion.
"You know, despite how badly this is freaking me out... It is
pretty cool." He mutters this out in a soft tone before closing
his eyes and sucking in a sharp, calming breath.

The man would shake his head, motioning to the interrogator, "I
was thinking, try Protocol Sigma." The, whatever they saw now,
would nod to him before suddenly Eilik would drop, seeming to
collapse, "Don't worry, he's just performing a hard reset on
your friend's brain, if it works, we'll know whether or not he
is who you think he is, how about that?" Eilik would lie still
for a good looong few moments as the general would simply peer
at him.

Alice, almost went to step forward as she saw Eilik drop to the
ground, she paused however, looking back to the general once
more, "... And.. what if it's not him?! will he be like a
child.. that just wouldn't be funny." she blinked, did she just
make a bad joke without meaning to? She shook her head, looking
back to the creature and Eilik.

Kai tilts his head from side to side, offering a small shrug at
this point, just watching and listening. Loosely he crosses his
arms over his chest, seeming to be mostly calm at the moment.

The man would peer over to her, "You know, somehow, I think that
even with any extensive proof you're going to keep asking that,
and therefore, until the procedure is over and done with, I'm
going to ignore you." He is quite plainly annoyed at Alice's
'what if it's not him' statements, given the fact she's asked
that for the past oh, entire time he's known her. Slowly but
surely however, it would appear that Eilik's skin would crack,
falling away from his body as his hair would lighten immensely
in color, almost white now. The 'dust' that had made his skin a
pale human color would collect into a pile before forming into a
small human hand that would seem to give them a middle finger.
Eilik's skin would appear black, ears actually ending in a fine
point, they appeared much longer than normal. He would lay there
though, still, as he hadn't quite woke up yet.
The general would peer at the hand, before shaking his head,
"Simple trick, nanomites connected to his psionic trail.
Outdated, but obviously enough so that most wouldn't pick up on
it." He would mutter to himself.
