Kai would quietly shuffle along behind Alice, keeping his gaze
intently upon his feet.

The man with pointed ears would peer to the girl, raising an
eyebrow, "Oh we're not wrong. I don't know of any other humans
with a personal perception filter, not coming from where he
claims to be from anyway. And as I've stated, the DNA, not of
human. Miss, it is very hard to be wrong with the technology we
have at our disposal." He would snort, "You insult the Calethian
Empire by saying such things."
The older man would peer back to him before shaking his head,
"He is right, Calethian's technology is only outmatched by one
other that I know of."

Alice would look to the 'elf', raising a brow, she would snort
softly, looking back to the man infront of her, "So if your
right, what will happen.. if he is really a war criminal, will
he be locked up, or?" she crossed her arms, "And for that matter
what did he do?"

Kai would continue to listen as he shuffles along behind Alice,
his now pointed ears twitching slightly. His gaze would move
around slightly, head tilted from side to side, the floor
seeming quite interesting at the moment.

The man would raise an eyebrow, "Locked up? Considering he was
the leading general of the Kretian army he'll have a public
execution. I suggest Miss, that you let the people who know what
they're doing and his past crimes handle it. You should be more
worried about getting back home." He would peer to Kai, "Son,
you've been quiet, you're not planning anything are you?"

Alice snorted, going quiet for now, looking toward the door.

Kai lightly shakes his head. "No, not planning anything. Hungry,
worried, and confused." He offers a faint one-sided shrug as he
continues to shuffle along behind Alice.

The man would nod as he led them down a long white hallway,
occasionally it would junction off to smaller hallways, various
people and races rushing past as they would obviously be rushing
off to do something. A woman would walk up to the three, smiling
brightly. She would seem quite like a normal human, however her
lips were a forest green, skin a pale color, long hair tied up
in a ponytail behind her head, bright green feathers poking out
from behind her ears, kind of like fins. She would nod up to the
man, she was rather short, who she would hand a file. Under her
arms would seem to be wings that stretched from her wrist down
to her side, vividly colored. If anyone looked at her feet, they
would be more talon-like.
"Hello General! And how are you today? Oh are those humans?" She
would seem rather bubbly, immensely cheerful. She would seem to
be bouncing on her toes. "Such wonderful to have more humans
aboard! We don't get many, you all seem like the best sort!"
The General would smile, "Thank you Kiri, they just arrived yes.
I am actually bringing them down to interrogation, apparently
the prisoner is...a friend." The woman would blink, as if this
surprised her, "Really? That man can make friends with people?
He keeps yelling at us that -we're- the ones doing something
wrong." She would furrow her green eyebrows. "I say! Well maybe
they can help get him to talk!"

Alice followed the man closely, eying the halls and all the
races they past, even though this situation was tense.. she was
still amazed by things she had never seen before, she paused to
look at the bird like girl, before snorting at her words, "Of
course he can make friends with people." she turned up her nose
a bit, looking to Kai, "Im sure he is just confused." she nodded
gently.

Kai slowly lifts his head, peering at the bird woman intently
for a few moments before his eyes grow wide and fill with panic.
He would start to shake and twitch, letting out a low, feral
growl before he moves himself to stand right behind Alice. He
grabs onto the hem of her shirt and lowers his head to press it
against her back lightly. His ears by now would be fully
elongated and drooped, a low whine of pure terror escaping his
mouth as he tries to hide himself behind Alice. If it was
possible and he did not think he would crush Alice, he likely
would have tried to jump into her arms and cry like a small
child. Even now it is likely tears would be running down his
nearly red-furred cheeks, he is utterly terrified of the clearly
friendly bird woman.
Why is Kai utterly terrified of birds but not even slightly
afraid of a gun?
WELL.
