Kai gives a swift nod, eyes still on his screen as he scrolls
through some last minute stuff. His ears are perked up,
attentive. He is very focused, the tip of his tail lightly
twitching in an almost cat-like motion. "As ready as ever, I
suppose." He mutters out, his voice quite rough, just barely
above a whisper. As he goes back to paying attention to the
screen, everything else seems to blur out for him.

Alice would blink, looking up from her skin, she glanced over
toward Eilik, and soon would peer out at the vortex ahead of
them. She let out a whimper, turning her eyes away from the
blinding light of space, typing a few things on her skin,
preparing idle works for any impacts they may take, she seemed
to be quick at leaning the sim. "That line... Im not even going
to comment." she muttered as she focused on her screen.

If he could be grinning it would be apparent that he would be.
The alien would place a hand on a lever setting on the arm of
his chair, "Jumping to two-thousand years in the past in
three...two... on-" His thoughts were interrupted before his
mind could broadcast this fully. The ship would shake abruptly
before a mechanical voice interrupted over the intercom.
"Collision detected, intruders boarding port-side, airlock A
-13"
Eilik would blink, narrowing his eyes as he would stand, growing
more serious as he left his seat. "Let the intruders board, then
proceed to seal the airlocks Eve." He would state, the
mechanical voice picking up again, "As you wish Captain." it
would seem part of what he was working on was an AI as well,
what surprises did Eilik have up his sleeve next?

Kalkarak walked onto the vessel in his combat armor as the
airlock closed behind him, 'Well maybe they will make this fun
for once,' he thought to himself. He set his cutlass on his
shoulder as he calmly walked down the hallways looking for one
of the crews of the ship. 'Looks very clean... and empty,' he
thinks before slashing at a terminal nearby , "Maybe I can get
them to come to me if I break enough of there stuff."

The terminal would spark and fizzle as the blade would cut
through it like butter, given what the blade was made from. The
mechanical ringing out, "Terminal 32-B offline."
In the cockpit Eilik would peer up at the speaker in the room
before rushing out the door, it making a hissing noise as it
closed behind him. He would appear to be in a hurry, nobody
tried to board the ship he stole. As he walked a hand would
flick over the top of the canisters on his belt, a hazy gaseous
cloud wafting up, solidifying into a cutlass that he would be
wielding in reverse, the flat of the blade along his forearm.
Eventually he would make it into the hallway that housed the
damaged terminal, which was rather fast considering the intruder
had collided toward the front of the ship. He would slide along
the well-waxed floors as he settled within eyesight of the
trespasser. He would stare at the man, red eyes studying him for
a moment before pointing a gloved finger at him, "You're
intruding on Xereth Duskshatter's ship, I suggest you turn
around and step back out that airlock, or you'll have to see why
I'm the system's most wanted." He decided to use his birth-name,
interesting, possibly because of the fact that more would
recognize it than the name he adopted less than a day ago.

Kalkarak was glad that finally someone showed up before he had
to damage more of his prize, at least before he heard the name.
"Xereth Duskshatter, haven't heard that in a long time," he
would twirl his cutlas a bit before resting it on his shoulder
again. "I'm not leaving no matter what Mr. Dusk, you see my ship
seams to be, how to put this," he looks at the terminal he
destroyed, "falling to pieces?" He would then point his cutlas
at the man, "How about a duel for this one eh?"

Eilik would bring arm up, the blade of the sword coming with it
of course, he would continue to stare at the man, eyes showing
little change though the feeling shifted, as if he was no longer
quite angry, though just slightly annoyed, the nerve,
challenging him to a duel and the prize was the ship he had so
carefully modified. Though, the thought patterns were familiar,
he was sure he knew who it was.
"Fine then, if it's a duel you want. Though, I'm not guaranteed
to hold my end of the bargain." His eyes would glimmer, as if he
was smirking, if he had a mouth to that is.

"Well even if you don't, taking what you want with your own
hands is what it means to be a pirate, now lets make it showy"
he would rush forward the cutlas in his right hand as his left
hand went behind his back as he went for a vertical strike. He
wondered if Duskshatter would recognize his... catchphrase? Well
ether way its now time to see if his swordsmanship has improved.

Eilik would rotate his arm at his elbow and shoulder, causing his
blade to aim for the vertical slice he would push slightly
against it as it would come down, attempting to make it bounce a
bit upward again. If successful the sword would dissolve into
the cloud before quickly forming a small pistol before Eilik
would fire it at the man's chest, the blast not strong enough to
injure the other, more of a concussive blast designed to push
back the target, and if the shooter was lucky, knock him off his
ass. "Showy? I'm the king of showmanship."

Kalkarak would smirk in his mind as his left hand would pull
into view with what looks like a flintlock pistol aiming right
ware Dusk fired and firing off one of his own causing the
standard reaction for when two equal forces met one another
causing him to fly backwards landing onto his back. Then he
would flip back into a standing position once he could, a little
shaky and coughing a bit but still up, and rest the cutlas back
onto his shoulder. "Well now you have a rival," he would then
twirl and point the pistol at him firing off concussive rounds
as fast as the gun would let him not really aiming.
