Alice sat there, listening to Eilik, and the grumbles, and then,
she turned her head a bit as she heard Kiri shout. She turned
her gaze up to the hologram of the orb, before she turned her
two toned gaze to Eilik once more, "Hrm.." she hummed softly to
herself.

Kai would still be leaning back in his chair, ears twitching a
bit as he listens. Stop it from even happening...? Was he
planning to go back in time or something? Wasn't that dangerous?
He was quite sure he had watched a movie or something about a
guy who went back in time and fucked everything up... Or was it
a guy who went through time and fixed things...? Fuck if he
knew, so he shrugged it off. He was sure that whatever Eilik had
in mind would work... at least he hoped.

Kiri would snap her mouth shut, huffing, she should've seen that
coming, and it was obvious when she crosses her arms, leaning
back in her chair. Eilik would shake his head, the system would
seem to reverse, in the opposite direction that it had been,
taking a fast spin before it halted to a stop, the planet would
no longer seem to be glowing, in fact it looked remarkably like
earth, continents shaped differently however.
" Stardate 2117, one-hundred and twenty first day of the Crag."
Eilik would speak, "That's our destination time." Someone would
interject, speaking up, "But that would give us two weeks til
planetary detonation, that's barely enough time to even figure
out how to stop it. Not to mention the consequences it would
have on a time-linear scale." Eilik would peer to this person,
who would seem to be a little goblinoid looking thing, its eyes
wide with worry.
"We're to find this object, and acquire it, there's no need for
the entire crew, I will be bringing a small team." Eilik would
simply state, the being would turn up its nose, "Still, that
leaves two weeks to find this thing, and who knows how dangerous
it could be if it's connected with -them- to bring on board."
Eilik would stare at this person, "Zirn, I have my resources,
and who's to say those that will accompany me won't like a
little...challenge?" (Que dramatic music here.)

Alice listens between everyone, though she paused at the mention
of a small 'team', "...." she huffed, having an idea who all he
meant, and really even if he didn't mean her and Kai, she was
going to come anyways. She shifted her weight in her chair a
bit, peering up toward the planet that was once red, seeing how
close it looked to her own planet, she tilted her head, before
glancing to Kai that was sitting next to her.

Kai slowly opens his eyes as he hears the word 'Challenge'. Just
like in class, something finally caught his interests enough for
him to have his eyes open. He really hoped that Eilik was
talking about Alice and himself. Or at least himself. Kai was
not sure how sturdy Alice was combat wise, he had found most
humans were considerably weaker than he was, even in human form.
Though, he could not quite place it, there was just something
about her that seemed off. Her eyes? No. He never let physical
things distract him from the person themselves. Something else,
he just didn't know what yet.
With a shake of his head to clear his mind, he sucks in a sharp
breath and slowly exhales in a relaxing manor. Two weeks, he had
said. He was right, his plants would be dead long before he got
home. Its not like he couldn't just grow more, really. But he
hated having to start from scratch all over again... he would
have to get more seeds. Ugh.

Eilik would shake his head, "We are currently traveling to the
Nova III sector, awaiting a wormhole that is scheduled within
the next few hours. any questions?" Kiri would stand, "Who's the
team? The Earthlings who have no right being put into danger?
They were dragged into this because of you." The man would prod
a few buttons ont he display before stepping onto the disc that
would levitate him to the ground, "You will know in a few hours.
and they are here because curiosity had gotten the better of
them, consider them your fellow crew until further notice."
"You have no right to do any of this you know. In fact, you're
going completely against orders. I heard the representative, he
said stand down." Eilik would freeze in place at the bottom of
the platform, turning around he'd give a venomous stare to the
harpy-woman. "Unless you wold like to stage a mutiny, I have
full authority. As I said before, don't like it, there's the
airlocks." Kiri would huff, heading to leave the auditorium,
"I'm staying, but only because it seems you need a leash, and
the order will hear of this plan of yours. You're lucky all
you're getting away with is a longer criminal history Xereth."
"It's Eilik now, remember?"
"What the fuck ever." She would turn, leaving the auditorium in
a brisk pace. Eilik would rub a thumb and index finger over his
eyelids, obviously annoyed.

Alice huffed, hearing the harpy woman, she tilted her head back
to look at the woman, most likely watching her leave the room.
Before she pushed herself up, peering at Eilik, "You know. We're
not sitting your little adventure out, right? We've been dragged
out this far. Why not go a little more." she offered a shrug,
looking back to Kai, as if wanting him to back her up some how,
before she would look back to Eilik. "And honestly, i don't give
a shit what little miss feathers, has to say."

Kai peers to Alice, nodding. "Agreed. I don't plan to sit on my
ass and relax while you get to go off and do all the work. While
usually that would be my style, I really can't just... sit by.
Not for this." He mutters loudly, slowly lifting a hand to run
his fingers through his hair with a groan.

Eilik would peer over to Kai and Alice, "You're acting like you
really had a choice in the matter." Man, creepy, he doesn't even
have a mouth to see if he was smiling or not to tell if that was
meant as a joke. He would return to the ramp that they had come
down, heading back toward the network of hallways.

Alice blinks, looking to Kai, she offered a shrug, and then
turned, following Eilik once more. She was starting to become a
tail it seemed... "I honestly can't tell if that was a joke or
not.." she offered a chuckle, that quickly trailed off before
she spoke again. "So what order was miss feathers talking
about?" she questioned softly, yes she had clearly picked a
nickname for the harpy woman that stuck to her.
