Dralyk would rest his chin on a knee, wings fluttering slightly
as he would watch the door. It was true, had she not bought him
he would've likely been forced to do a lot of things he didn't
want to, on the other hand she wouldn't have had the idea to go
traveling, and wouldn't be stuck in a cave hoping those
shadowbeasts didn't come back.

Sheska would look back to him, peering at him for a long moment,
"Dralyk.. what would you have done if.. i kept you as a slave?
would you have hated me?"

Dralyk would blink, cringing at the question, "To be honest, if
you had kept me as a slave, yes, I likely would have hated you.
But you didn't. And you were one to help get that collar off.
Why? Had that thought crossed your mind?" He would say this with
little emotion in his voice, almost sounding a bit sad.

She lowered her head a moment, and nodded, looking back to him,
"I was just thinking if things were different, if i had choose
to stay home and keep you there.. or let you go out on your
own... hoping for the best for you instead of seeing it.." she
sat back down next to him, curling her knees to her chest, "I
guess im sort of a bad luck charm for you aren't i?" she sighs,
"Either way i can't stand the thought of you hating me, so im
glad i didn't chicken out... And saw this through.. i don't want
to go back home ever again... i wanna go out in the world, and..
find a place.. and work hard to live there... with you...."

The man would blink, he would raise his head, lifting his chin
off of his knee before resting his forehead on his knee, closing
his eyes. "You're not a bad luck charm. In fact I think you're
why the good things happen. Even when I black out, can't
remember things, you're not scared off by it." He would chuckle
dryly, "That man, the shadowy one...he looked terrified. Acted
like I would kill everyone." He would open his eyes once more, a
small smile this time, a completely sincere one. "I would like
that Sheska, find a place, settle down. Not worry about
monsters, or wars, or people thinking that I'm some sort of
dirt. I would like that very much."

Sheska smiled to him, reaching over to hug him, "I wouldn't mind
spending the rest of my life with you somewhere peaceful
Dralyk... thats what we should do after we find your sword! we
should go find somewhere, explore the world, and find somewhere
hidden away, and just... stay there." she nods showing a bit of
spirit. before looking to him again, "And... im not scared..
because.. i know you won't hurt me... Even if you do black out
and go crazy every once in a while." she reached up to teasingly
poke his fuzzy ear.

Dralyk would nod to her silently before reaching jerking his
head toward the bedroll she laid out, "We'll start in the
morning then. Should get some rest." He would return to peering
at the entrance to the cave, muttering something to himself.

Sheska nodded slowly, rolling off him to lie down on the bed
rolls, she looked up to him, "Remember to come over here and lie
down too when it starts to get really cold...." she huffed,
pulling the blanket over her, leaving a spot open for him.

Sheska nodded, lying down fully, the wolf pup wiggling it's way
over to lie cuddled up to her, giving Dralyk that, 'YOU HAD THE
CHANCE' look, before lying it's head down. Sheska would wrap her
wings up a bit, closing her eyes, soon to be dozed off with the
pup.
Dralyk would hear nothing but far off calls in the dark, the
sound of the wind picking up, a large blizzard moving over the
area, making a wall of white at the mouth of their cave, making
it like an ice box inside, some snow pouring in the other side
of the mouth, the flame that cave them little light threatening
to go out, the high winds made it almost impossible to hear
anything out from their small room, Dralyk would most likely see
nor hear anything if it was coming at this point. Sheska
remained snuggled in the blankets with the wolf pup.
