Dralyk would blink at this creature, backing up to press his
back against the large torch, "...So...it's either run as fast
as I can, hope whatever that thing is doesn't get us, and
whatever howled...or stay in the light, and hope whatever howled
can't enter light too..." He would huff, thoroughly not pleased
by this ordeal. "Sheska...I'm sorry I made you come out here
with me." He would mutter.

Sheska looks up to him, frowning a moment, before putting on a
weak smile, "Hey... it's okay... i promise everything will be
fine! i bet... i bet we will figure this out with no problem."
she would nod, wiggling up to wrap her arms around his neck and
hug him tightly, she said the words not just for him but to
reasure herself, she didn't feel good about this situation, and
knew it wasn't going to end well, "And.. you're my best friend
Dralyk... i would do anything for you...." she hummed to him.
The beasts in the shadows would come in bigger numbers, growing
impatient a few would try to step forward into the light,
hitting the ground after a few sets in however, burning to
dusts, the creatures would let out growls and barks that sounded
strangely dog like, but mixed with something different, the
black beasts would growl, their silver eyes staring at the two
with hunger.

Dralyk would hug her to him for a moment before blinking, a
feral grin would spread on his face as suddenly he would plop
her down on her feet, without a word snatching her bow, spinning
her around to take a quiver from her back. He would knock an
arrow, aiming for the first pair of eyes he saw before he drew
the string back.

Sheska would blink as she was thrown to her feet, her items
snatched from her, she watched as he pulled the arrow back with
the bow, pressing herself against the torch base as she watched.
The bigest beast would narrow it's eyes, glaring Dralyk down,
watching his every move.

Dralyk would take aim at one of the beasts before letting the
arrow soar for right between the eyes, quickly reaching back for
another arrow, nocking it against the string, "Yes, you little
animals, craving for food, line up, I need some target
practice." He would mutter before letting this one fly as well,
re-nocking another arrow, aiming for a different beast.

The first beast would take the arrow to the head falling into
the light zone with a whimper unable to get back up, they seemed
rather weak, but as soon as the one fell, the pack of these
beasts would seem to swarm, flying and jumping around in the
shadows to quick to see, letting out more feral growls, killing
one only seemed to make them more hungry and angry at the two.
Sheska frowned, "U-ugh... Dralyk.." she frowned, looking toward
the next torch, which wasn't to far away, but there was a gap
between the light barriers, one of darkness just big enough for
them to slip through as they pleased.

Dralyk would huff, sliding the bow onto his shoulder before he
would nod to her, "You first, I can give you a boost if you'd
like." He would mutter, peering at her.

Sheska blinked, looking to him, shaking her head, "N-no..
th-..they can get us through that crack.. and it sounds like
they can move pretty quickly... An-" she was cut off, the deep
roar of the howl getting closer, making it sound like whatever
it was was quite big, "OKAY GOING.." she turned, walking over
toward the edge of the barrier.

Dralyk would peer at the creatures, keeping their attention for
a bit before he would notice her reach the edge, his wings
extended as he would proceed to propel at her back, covering her
with his wings as he would attempt to launch them as fast as he
could to the next torch. No, they weren't going to grab her if
he could help it.

Sheska would gasp as she is wrapped in his wings, and launched
with him through the break point, Dralyk could most likely hear
the growls and yelps of the beasts around him, that brief moment
in darkness, he would most likely feel two or three sets of
claws rip at his back before they fell into the other light
zone. No it wasn't to take him the claws to small for it, just
to wound deep into his back.
