'Dragonshark'
By: Bear Date: August 6, 2013, 8:35 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
Dragonsharks are a very rare and unique breed of creature. A
cross between a dragon and a shark, no one is really quite sure
how they came to be, aside from the fact that they are very
accepted by both sea and land. There are very few of these in
the entire world, almost never seen or even heard of. They are
powerful creatures, be it on land or in the water. Fast swimmers
and having the advantage of wings on land, some even having
magical abilities.
Dragonsharks mostly live in the water though, feeding off of
fish, moss, and the various other things to be found in the deep
waters of the world. Nothing is known about their breeding
habits, though it is likely one cannot be born without magical
aid from an outside source. But such things have been dead to
the world for a very, very, very long time. Dragonsharks range
from the size of a small house cat all the way to being the size
of their draconic cousins, sometimes bigger than mountains. But,
the large Dragonsharks are even fewer in numbers than the
smaller kind, likely only one or two left of colossal size.
They come in many different colors and shapes, quite often the
smaller ones having less elaborate scales/skin, but still
amazingly colorful. The claws upon their rather cute stubby feet
are nearly as sharp as their teeth and have been known to, on
very rare occasions, produce a poison that eats the skin of
another being. The wings of a dragonshark are sometimes a bit
large compared to its own body, but it is a lot of work to keep
something of its size in the air. But it does not slow this
hunter down one bit!
The few that have actually ran into a Dragonshark have mixed
stories about them. Some saying they are vicious and ravenous
beasts, others saying they are kind, loyal and loving creatures
worthy of praise and respect, almost dog like. But the truth is,
they are both. A well fed Dagonshark is as kind and loving as an
old playful dog, though the do tend to prefer to be alone or
among their own kind, a trait picked up from their dragon
cousins. A hungry Dragonshark though, is a very dangerous thing.
While they do not have to eat as much as they age, if they do
not eat enough when the time comes, they turn into vicious and
ravenous blood hungry beasts.
The life span of a Dragonshark is unknown, it is assumed they
are immortal.

Dragonsharks. If it really exists, it would be scary to watch.
