The Usual HCW opening video packages hit. We see flashes of
images on The Battle Royal, The Universal Title and The
Unsanctioned I Quit match before we go to a skybox and we are
live in The American Airlines Arena! The camera shows Todd
Grisham.
TG: Ladies and Gentleman, thank you for joining me live on the
HCW.com exclusive Colleseum Preshow. My name is Todd Grisham,
and I am live from the American Airlines Arena. First things
first, let us introduce our panel. First, let us welcome The
Professor, Mike Tenay.
Tenay raises an arm in acknowledgement.
TG: In the middle there, we have the Fusion General Manager,
Hulk Hogan!
Hogan waves to the camera.
TG: And on the right, he’s back again, Big Poppa Pump Scott
Steiner is here!
Steiner shows his muscles and Hogan and Steiner share a little
joke comparing muscles.
TG: Tonight we’re going to preview every match on the Colleseum
Card, we’re going to have some interviews with the stars of
tonight’s show, we have six of Collision’s superstars in the
Colleseum Battle Royal drawing their number for us and we are
also being treated to a Global Title match right here on this
preshow!
Show and Cesaro are showing warming up on split screen as
Grisham says this.
TG: But first, let us have a look at what happened last time HCW
was on Pay Per View, this was Ground Zero!
The highlights package begins with the best of the Steel Cage
Tag match, where the Unamericans were victorious. Next we see
Perfect defeating RVD in a H@rdcore match, then weaselling out
of a match with Edge. After this, the Hell in a Cell is
spotlighted and we see the back and forth action in this
match.before Ziggler picks up the win. We then see some moves
from the great International Title match where Samoa Joe was
victorious. We then see Taz screwing Douglas out of a match with
The Brothers of Destruction, before we are shown various moves
of the epic Last Man Standing match where HBK got the win. We
then see a bit of the Rock v Big Show match which resulted in an
injury to The Rock. Then we finally see happenings of the main
event which saw Cody Rhodes come out on top. The video package
ends with Rhodes posing with the belt.
TG: Well what a night that was, and what a night this certainly
will be. We’ll start with previewing one of four title matches
on the main card. The International Title will be on the line
between the champion Randy Orton… and the challenger Samoa Joe!
Let’s have a look at how this has became a rematch… of a
rematch.
The first thing we see is Joe making Orton submit to The Coquina
Clutch at Ground Zero. Joe lifts the belt up high and then we
see Orton appear on the screen.
[quote author=chris_K link=topic=6.msg3673#msg3673
date=1367356798]
I need to focus on regaining my International Championship. And
I don't plan on waiting.
*Orton points to the new traveling schedule and points to the
next FUSiON which takes place in his hometown of St. Louis,
Missouri*
I think this will be a good a place as any to regain my title.
Each fall is shown from The Ironman Match where Orton comes out
on top in his hometown. Orton is shown holding the title high
before we see Joe on the screen.
[quote author=Red Milk Chocolate link=topic=6.msg3830#msg3830
date=1368991275]
Look, I know I lost today, but Hogan read my mind. I can't wait
to meet Randy in the ring again.
We then see the face off between Triple Threat and The Machines
at the end of Fusion.
[quote author=pat2007 link=topic=6.msg3939#msg3939
date=1369612565]
Hogan: After what happened, I came up with a couple of things...
Randy Orton and Samoa Joe will faceoff for the International
Title at Colleseum... But I've decided to also have a tag team
match between the team of Kane and Taz against the team of Shane
Douglas and Zack Ryder at the PPV. And as far as this week goes,
we'll have all three members of each team facing in three
separate singles matches. At the end of the night, the team who
will get the most falls will decide the stipulations for both
the International Title rematch and the tag team match!
[quote author=Red Milk Chocolate link=topic=6.msg3971#msg3971
date=1369793206]
Kane: And Randy, why can't you seem to hold on to that
International championship? You call it yours, yet it leaves
your hands more than any other championship has. You say you've
won seven times? You've also lost it six times.
Joe: At Colleseum you're going to lose it for a seventh time
after I choke you the **** out.
Joe is shown doing that exact thing to Orton at Ground Zero.
[quote author=chris_K link=topic=6.msg3983#msg3983
date=1369901931]
I'm not sure what way I will beat Samoa Joe, but it will happen.
At Collesium, you'll learn that as much things change, they
just stay the same.
*Orton looks at his title around his waist and then pats it*
You and Kane may be bigger, may have held my title momentarily,
but it was always mine.
Orton is shown giving RKO’s to both Kane and Joe, then Hogan is
shown in the ring.
[quote author=pat2007 link=topic=6.msg4097#msg4097
date=1370832289]
With also a half of the votes, the stipulation for what should
be the last match between Randy Orton and Samoa Joe for the
International Title will be...
Last Man Standing!
The crowd erupts for the annoncement.
We end with both men performing their finishers on each other
and a staredown in the ring. We then go back to the skybox.
TG: Well that’s sure to be a great match tonight, and now I go
to our panel for the first time this evening. We’ll start with
you Mike. What do you think Randy Orton has got to do to retain
his title?
Tenay: There’s not a lot he can do other than try and use
anything and everything to his advantage. Joe will have the
power advantage, but if you were to build a wrestler from fresh
it would be Randy Orton! He’s got to try and not let Joe snap on
the Coquina, as that is dangerous as if you pass out… you can’t
answer to ten if you’re unconscious.
TG: Thanks Mike, what say you Hulk? What has Joe got to do to
win this?
Hogan: The exact opposite of what Mike said, which is try and
use all of his strength in the Coquina and other big moves for
him to get Orton down for 10, which won’t be easy in itself.
He’s also got to do dodge that RKO, how he does that I don’t
know.
TG: Ok, Scott, do you think we’ll see The Machines and Triple
Threat in this match?
Steiner: Orton will want to do this alone. But he’ll have to
have them ready, that’s for sure because The Machines love the
numbers game. I don’t expect to see a 1 v 1 tonight, that’s for
sure.
TG: Now for predictions folks, Mike?
Tenay: It’s difficult this one, it really is. I’m going with
Orton though, as I think he just has the Psychological
advantage.
TG: Ok, Hulk?
Hogan: Well I hope Scott is wrong and The Machines don’t appear,
but if they do Randy will have his hands full if he wants to do
it alone. Because of those reasons I have to begrudgingly go for
Joe.
TG: And finally Scott?
Steiner: I’d love to see Orton hold that belt for longer, and I
can see him finding some way of getting Joe down for 10.
TG: Well thanks Guys, but now I believe we can go straight to
Mick Foley’s office as The Prophecy is ready to draw their
numbers!

We cut to the back where HBK knocks an walks into Foley’s office
looking confident, closely followed by his cronies Aries and
Daniels. They both talk excitedly as HBK draws his number and
looks at it in slight exasperation. Aries and Daniels both look
at it and pull a similar expression, before drawing theirs. Both
look satisfied and quietly confident, but as HBK and Daniels
leave Aries looks pleased. We go back to the Skybox.
TG: Well Aries looked pleased there, but for now we’ll go to our
next match, a match that’s sure to be kinda violent in it’s own
right. Kane and Taz are back together, but the Machines have had
several issues with Shane Douglas, who’ve gotten some help by
his side, as he’ll team with former Synergy Tag Team Champion
Zack Ryder, a man who has had a long story of his own with the
Machines. Both teams will face each other at Colleseum in a
Steel Cage Match. Here’s how everything started… At Ground Zero!

We see a video footage of the Dream Tag Team Match involving the
Brothers of Destruction and the team of Shane Douglas and Taz.
The image slows when we see Taz hit Shane from behind, costing
him the match. We then see the footage of what occured
afterwards, with Taz choking Shane out.
[quote author=pat2007 link=topic=40.msg3703#msg3703
date=1367778222]Taz: Hey Shane... **** like this is what happens
when you spend your entire career ****ing people over and then
suddenly decide to "do the right thing"... Couldn't have
happened to a bigger prick.
[quote author=Sixx link=topic=6.msg3807#msg3807
date=1368671162]Douglas:  Machines...  This isn't over.  I find
it strange that there happen to be three of you, when the number
three happens to be very important to me. I even have it
tattooed on my arm... You boys have a problem coming. Three
problems, in fact.
We see footage of Shane’s doing the Triple Threat gesture in ECW
and in HCW. We then see some footage of the No Holds Barred
Match he had with Taz the week before.
[quote author=pat2007 link=topic=6.msg3857#msg3857
date=1369084729] Douglas slowly makes his way to his feet after
his hard fought victory. He doesn’t have the chance to
celebrate, though, as Kane and Samoa Joe quickly make their way
to the ring. They back him into a corner, which he leans
against, exhausted from his war with Taz.
As they begin to close the distance, he shrugs and nails Kane
with a right hand to the crowd’s delight. This is shirt lived,
however, as Kane and Joe quickly take the advantage. Kane sets
Douglas up for the choke slam when the lights go out in the
arena…
When they come back on, Kane and Joe are standing face to face
with Randy Orton and Zack Ryder. Without preamble, the four
begin to brawl. After a moment, Joe and Kane flee the ring. Taz
is finally regaining his senses and getting to his feet. He
stumbles towards Orton, who lays him out with a vicious RKO.
Kane drags Taz out of the ring and throws him over his shoulder.
Kane and Joe are backing up the ramp when Douglas, Orton, and
Ryder each throw up the Triple Threat hand sign to the delight
of the crowd.
[quote author=MrAwesome link=topic=6.msg3880#msg3880
date=1369172013](Ryder is with Orton and Douglas)
Ryder: You see? I may not be on the winning track right now.
But, I am tired of the Machines thinking just how dominant they
are. I owe Shane Douglas a lot even through the whole
"Revolution" stable. Heck, I even like Randy a tiny bit. I am
ready to stand with these two and kick the asses of the
Machines!
Now, you two may think that we are easily going to go down but
not at all. Everybody knows that all three of us mean business.
It's time to start getting serious! The war has begun
gentlemen!
[quote author=Red Milk Chocolate link=topic=6.msg3971#msg3971
date=1369793206]Kane and Joe are in their locker room together,
going over their plans for the immediate future. Kane is shown
Shane's comments.
Kane: I'm sorry Shane, but that is my line. On Fusion I will
bury Zack Ryder.
Joe: And I will kill you, Shane.
Kane: ... Yes. You do remember what happened the last time you
trusted someone, right? Your partner was Taz and you thought you
could defeat the Machines. Are you sure you can trust your
partners now? Will they fare any better against our wrath? Will
they endure the pain and suffering we will bestow upon you? Or
will they crumble? Where is Cody Rhodes? He left Zack. Where is
the Revolution? They left you, Shane…
[quote author=MrAwesome link=topic=6.msg3972#msg3972
date=1369794391](Ryder sees the Machines comments)
Ryder: First things first Kane, Cody did not abandon me. We are
still best friends. He's just busy with his own business. As for
whether Shane can count on me, you know it! We finally see eye
to eye now which is awesome. As for Randy, I never had a problem
with the guy. We all have one common goal. We are ready to take
each of you out like the scum of the earth that you guys
are!
We then see the footage of the three members of Triple Threat
beating all three members of the Machines the following Fusion,
winning the right to pick the stipulation. We then see Hogan
announcing the stipulation the fans have chosen for this match
and then we see the Steel Cage.
The video package ends with all four men involved in the match
hitting each other with their finishers before having both teams
staring at each other.
TG: Well, as you saw, there’s some bad blood between both teams.
I’ll begin with Mr. Tenay. What must the Machines do to get the
victory in this match?
Tenay: Simple… Return to their dominant level that made them one
of the greatest tag teams that has ever held the Synergy Titles.
TG: And for you, Hulkster, what should the team of Ryder and
Douglas do to obtain the win?
Hogan: You know, dude… Zack and Shane won’t back down, even
though on paper they won’t be the favorites. They must be smart…
They just need to have either one man leave the cage or obtain
the fall. And they must be working together. Zack has had
success against the Machines when he was teaming with our
current Universal Champion, so he can definitely help Shane when
it’ll be needed.
TG: For you, Scott… Do you think this match will end the feud
between both teams?
Steiner: I dunno. I believe this won’t be the last fight between
both teams because on paper, I see two excellent teams going
head-to-head, but it all depends on what will occur with the
International Title Match…
TG: Prediction time, folks… Scott?
Steiner: It’ll be one hell of a brawl, but I see Kane picking
the victory for his team.
TG: Hulk?
Hogan: I approve what Steiner said about it being a brawl, but I
think Triple Threat has a lot of confidence and I see Zack
leaving the cage to give the team the victory.
TG: And you, Mr. Tenay?
Tenay: I do believe the Machines will edge a victory but it’s
almost like flipping a coin, both teams are pretty good on
paper.
TG: Thanks everyone and now I believe we can go back to Mick
Foley’s locker room, as Ted DiBiase is ready to draw his number!
#Post#: 4142--------------------------------------------------

---------------------------------------------------------
Foley: Ted, good luck in The Battle Royal and with your match
against Ryback. Please draw your number.
Ted grabs a ball, opens it and reveals his number. He stares at
it for about 5 seconds, shakes his head and gives it to Foley.
Foley: Well once again, good luck.
I may need it…
We go back up to the skybox.
TG: Well Ted looked quite disappointed there, I guess we’ll find
out why later tonight, but for now ur next match involves two
men who probably cannot wait to get it on. Ryback has kinda
changed his attitude since Ground Zero and Jr. has been the one
getting the blame. At Colleseum, those two will get it on in a
Street Fight Match. Let’s see how it all started…

As Michaels milks his maniacal laugh for all its worth and
the fans boo him excessively, we suddenly hear and see...
HTML http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=9MU4JqM7u50
As a surprise to some, the fans actually stopped booing and
started... cheering for Ryback. He comes out looking serious and
determined, as usual, with a microphone in hand. He looks on,
standing on the stage, at the surprised HBK.
I have said it before and I will say it again. I am a man of
few words, Shawn. I prefer to let my actions do the talking, but
recently, I have been too quiet... even for myself.
Shawn Michaels, no words are necessary for me to remind you the
beating I gave you on this past Collision. I beat you to a pulp
to the point where you passed out in pain. Shawn, it is no
secret that I don't like you... not at all. But I respect your
resiliency and the fact that you preferred to pass out instead
of tapping out. That is an honorable thing to do, but that's not
why I'm out here.
You're out here talking about hatred and you're talking about
your past relationship with Bret Hart, but that's something to
which I cannot relate to. See, I am an animal, I am a beast! I
feel no hatred; I feel no love. All I feel is hunger! And now
more than ever. I have been gradually slowing down and getting
off track, but that stops right now. As a matter of fact, it
stopped the minute I was proclaimed "victorious" from our match.
After defeating you in the same match that you defeated me on, I
have regained back my entire focus. I am now back on my Path of
Destruction. I will do what I do best and that is destroy bodies
and win matches. But Shawn, one thing you said intrigued me and
sparked my curiosity... you said that you were the only one who
could reveal the secret to me about what would get me back on
the correct road. Well, what is it, Shawn? Enlighten me. What is
this supposed cure?
Shawn stares at Ryback for a couple of seconds before getting
back up.
HBK: Believe me, Ryback, you were quite impressive last week.
But then again, it took you a second try to beat me...
Are you sure that you feel no hatred? You can call yourself a
beast or an animal, but animals do hate too. And the extent of
your relationship with the sinful ladies from the Beautiful
People can be a great example of a love/hate relationship,
Ryback.
You were a beast when you first came in this company. When you
took out one of the toughest men of this industry, Bill
Goldberg, you were the beast...
When did it change? Many people would think that it changed the
day you first met those ladies... While it's maybe part of the
problem... But I know the real catalyst of your change... (While
he points his finger at the crowd) They are the reason why
you've changed, Ryback.
Crowd heavily boos Shawn while Ryback keeps staring at Shawn.
HBK: What I see, right now, is a man who began his career as a
monster who didn't express his feelings in front of those
people. But recently, it changed. It changed when you helped Ted
DiBiase Jr. a couple of months ago. A beast should only look for
himself and not care about others. Yet, you did, Ryback. It was
maybe an unconscious feeling, but it did happen and you can't
deny it. Then, you became a crowd favorite, your "Feed me More!"
line is chanted by all those people, and this has led you to
what you're going thru right now. And it's not by beating me in
your second try that you'll be back to what you once were,
Ryback!
No, Ryback, the only way to return to your former formidable
self is by only taking care of yourself. Put a shield to protect
you from those people. Make sure you have no relationship with
anyone. Just look for yourself. If you do, then you'll return to
the kind of man you want to be...
If not, then stop thinking about being a beast or an animal,
because you'll just be like these people!
[quote author=TheSpirit88 link=topic=6.msg3607#msg3607
date=1366838821]Ryback listens to Shawn Michaels from the
stage, with an expressionless look. He hears him out
uninterruptedly. After Shawn finishes speaking, Ryback looks to
be having many thoughts through his head. He spaces out for a
little bit before finally bringing the microphone up to his
mouth.
...
Ryback takes a deep breath but no words come out of his
mouth. He then lowers the mic down from his mouth and after some
silence, he drops the mic entirely to the floor. It looks as if
Shawn's words reached him and spoke to him. He looks at Shawn,
inside the ring, and suddenly turns around and leaves the area
leaving the fans and Michaels himself, confused.
[quote author=Thurl link=topic=6.msg3719#msg3719
date=1367893341]See, I've been very quiet lately because I've
been thinking a lot. And after all my thinking I came to one
realization: Shawn was right!
Fans: BOO!
I have lost legitimacy. I've lost my ruthlessness and my
aggression. Why? Over what? Over all of these idiots sitting on
those seats *points to the fans*, over those idiots sitting on
those chairs *points to the announcers, commentators, and
ringside staff* and over this idiot in the ring *points to Jr*.
The fans are letting him have it now. Jr says something off the
mic but Ryback cuts him off.
I said shut up, fuc*er!
The fans let it rain and Jr starts to get p1ssed.
I've been going downhill lately, Ted. I've been dropping to an
all time low. I've been experiencing something that I never
experienced before and I don't like it... I've slowly and
painfully gone from predator to prey. From hunter to victim.
From destroyer to destroyed. Why? Like I said, because of you!
You started this, Ted.
On November 7, 2012 I defeated Christian in the main event of
Collision in a Steel Cage match. This victory was the beginning
of an undefeated streak that lasted three months. You know who
ended my winning streak, Ted? You did! On the main event of
Collision on February 6, 2013. But you see that's not what
p1sses me off. The thing is that after our match, we were both
attacked by the Un-Americans. On the Collision after that one,
we teamed up and took on the Un-Americans on a match that we
lost. After we were defeated, you were too weak to even get up
and when the Prophecy tried to attack you, guess who saved you?
I did! And it was that rescuing that turned me over to the good
side and like Shawn said... that was my demise. After that night
I lost every match but one. Reason being, the fact that I
started giving a damn! A damn about you and a damn about them!
*points to the crowd* Well, tonight I stop giving damns!
Tonight, I turn into the cold-hearted monster; the destroying,
hungry beast that I am! Tonight, Ryback feasts on you, Ted!
You started this and tonight, this ends you!
After this Ryback scoops Ted up and... SHELL SHOCKED! Not a
single fan in the arena is cheering Ryback anymore. Ryback exits
the ring and heads on to the back receiving solid boos from the
crowd.
We then see footage of Ryback attacking Josh Matthews, then
nearly spitting in Mark Henry’s face. We then see Ryback and Jr.
backstage.

I got a little preview for our street fight!
*Jr winds back and clocks Ryback right in the jaw, catching
Ryback off guard! Ryback holds his jaw for a moment before
looking at DiBiase, who once he realizes he has Ryback's

towards him but the EMTs and security guards hold him off.
P1ssed off, he fights the men off and eventually runs them away
or beats them down. When it's only Ryback and Jr, Ryback starts
screaming to Ted to:
Come at me! Come at me! Come at me, f***er! Come at me!
DiBiase runs at Ryback but Ryback ducks and picks him up off
his feet and runs him back against the wall. Ryback starts
punching him in the face but Ted blocks the shots and gets some
of his own in. The two start brawling all over the area. DiBiase
hits Ryback with some harsh elbows and Ryback connects his knee
to Jr's abdomen repeatedly. The two fight on the floor and
that's when the securities and EMTs manage to separate them.
Both of them enraged, they start fighting off the securities and
other men, in order to fight each other. Ryback puts the men
holding him down and he jumps at Jr and the two continue
brawling. It isn't long before securities and others restrain
him but it doesn't matter because Ted DiBiase manages to get
free of the men holding him. He jumps at Ryback and the two keep
on fighting. More people come and help separate them. After a
while, they are finally able to get them apart physically but
the men continue yelling profanities at each other while the
securities take them to different directions.
We then see Piper telling them that they have a no-contact
clause then we see this…

date=1369701415] Shawn is alone in his locker room, preparing
for his tag match later on. While he prepares, the door suddenly
opens and before Shawn can do anything, a visibly angry DiBiase
takes him by the collar and pushes him on the wall.
HBK: Ted, you better not do anything stupid...
Jr: Shawn, you shut the hell up and listen or I'll have no
problem doing something stupid! For the past few months, you've
been the biggest thorn in my side. You've made my life hell and
just when I thought there was nothing left to do, you turn one
of my only friends against me! You got into Ryback's head and
now instead of fighting you at Collesium, I'm gonna have to
whoop his ass instead! I'm just letting you know, you are only
prolonging the inevitable because I will get you in that ring
and I will destroy you!
HBK: All big words coming from your mouth, Teddy... Two
things... Number one, I didn't turn Ryback against you... I just
told him the cold hard truth, a truth that he seems to have
understood quite well...
(Jr. pushes him against the wall a second time)
And Number two... If you want someone to blame for what happened
to your so-called friend... Blame yourself, Ted! Ryback wanted
only to be a monster and you were denying him of his goal with
your so-called friendship!
Jr: You and him both can try to blame me for his lack of
dominance but it doesn't make one difference. If he wants a
fight, he'll get one…
I beat the odds and I beat Sabu. Well, at Colleseum I’ll step
into that ring in yet another match with no boundaries, with no
limits. I’ll step into that ring in a Street Fight against...
Ted DiBiase. A man that I considered a friend, but realized he
was just detaining me from greatness. A beast has no friends! A
beast cares for itself and for itself only! Ted DiBiase... I’ll
admit, you are one hell of a competitor and you have balls, kid.
But at the end of the day, you’re just that... a kid. You’re a
kid, Ted. I’m a beast! I’m a monster! And if you don’t believe
me, you just wait until Colleseum. You’ll believe me then, I
guarantee it.
The video package ends with Ryback and Jr. staring inside the
ring.
TG: Definitely a match that I am anxious to see. Hulk, who do
you think the Street Fight stipulation favors?
Hogan: There’s two sides to this question,
Todd. At first, you definitely can be sure that this match is
made for Ryback and his newest attitude because he can simply do
whatever the hell he wants to do. But at the same time, it can
help Ted nullify the size and strength advantage Ryback has.
TG: Very good thoughts. Mike, do you like Ryback’s new attitude?
Tenay: Can’t say I’m a big fan of his newfound aggression,
either by his actions or mostly when he talks. But he’s still a
definitive monster and I’ll admit that the stip does favor his
new attitude.
TG: And Scott, as we saw on the video package, there’s a certain
man who started all of this. Do you think Shawn could play a
role in the outcome?
Steiner: With Shawn, anything can happen. But I only believe
he’ll watch it with a lot of interest. He surely doesn’t want to
get physically involved and not be at 100% for the Battle Royal
later on the night.
TG: Good point. Now, who do see winning this one? Scott?
Steiner: Been in the ring with both and I’ll admit that I’ve
been impressed with Ted’s performance last week although I was
the one feeling the pain in the end. I’ll go with Ted.
TG: Mr. Tenay?
Tenay: Although I don’t like his attitude, can’t see Ryback
losing a match that suits him.
TG: And last, Hulk?
Hogan: Ted… Mostly because I really don’t like Ryback’s attitude
lately and I think Ted can stop him.
TG: Thanks everyone, and now we have an exclusive interview with
a very important entrant in the Battle Royal. Matt Striker is
with entrant Number One, the Mastodon Vader!

MS: Now, by my side at this moment... Vader...
Heenan: Excuse me Matthew but you do not have the privilege of
speaking to my client. You will speak to me on Vader's behalf!
(Vader nods approvingly)
MS: Okay, Mr. Heenan. My mistake. Anyway, I just wanted some
words from your client about the Battle Royal...
Heenan: Well, here is what my client has to say about the Battle
Royal. Everybody in that match better get out of the ring on
their own will. This mastodon is on a roll and he will vanquish
all in his path! Hell, you better not give my client any funny
looks and we will give an example of the pain that all comers
will face in the Battle Royal! (Striker nods very quickly)I'm
sure everybody believes that they will be the one to walk out
the winner but they are all delusional to the obvious. Vader
WILL win!
MS: One last question... You have a friend who's done what Vader
will try to accomplish later tonight. What have you told your
client going in to this match?
Heenan: I've told him simply to demolish everybody he sees out
there! Be the Mastodon of HCW! Screw the numbers game because he
can make his own odds! But most of all, I told him one thing.
It's his time!
Vader: IT'S TIME! IT'S TIME! IT'S VADER TIME!
Heenan and Vader get the hell out of the way, leaving Striker
all alone.
MS: Back to you, guys.
We go back to Grisham in the skybox.
TG: Thanks Matt, and now it’s time to look at another match
preview. In life you get some people you just don’t get along
with. That certainly is the case for two men who will engage in
an Unsanctioned I Quit match. The Mexican Aristocrat versus The
Show Off. The Essence of Excellence versus Mr. Ratings. The
Cross Armbreaker versus The Zig Zag. Whichever way you look at
it, this match is not going to be for the feint of heart. Let’s
take you back nearly two years to when these two first faced
off!

ADR: Between the May 28th and June 7th editions of
Collision...Dolph Ziggler was already an established star around
that time...I was new to HCW.
We see a few of Ziggler’s big wins before seeing Del Rio
entering the company, before seeing Ziggler getting disqualified
on purpose in a few matches and taking ADR out of The Collision
v Fusion match.

ADR: Mick Foley was sick of Ziggler's games, so he was put in a
Street Fight with me...a match where he could take no
shortcuts...a match where the only way to win was by Pinfall or
Submission in the ring...and that's exactly what happened. He
passed out in the ring to my Cross Armbreaker. The next episode
of Collision...Nigel McGuinness took Ziggler on in a cage match.
You lost that as well, didn't you Dolph? The same night Foley
gave me a reward for putting Ziggler in his place...if I could
beat Edge, I was in the Global Title match at the upcoming PPV.
I made Edge tap out that night, and it was safe to say it was my
destiny to win that title. Ziggler wasn't on the next Collision,
but I was, defeating Petey Williams as I gained further momentum
towards my certain Global title win. August 28th was my big
chance though, I could rid the HCW world of Dolph Ziggler.
Another match, Del Rio vs Ziggler, if Dolph Ziggler lost he was
fired. I slammed Ziggler down to the mat and pinned
him...1....2....3.
Each of Del Rio’s wins are shown as he says this, and we see
Ziggler leaving the company to most peoples delight.

ADR: I was on top of the world. I had ended my nemesis' career
and I was on the verge of winning my first title in HCW. But it
didn't work out like that. The 31st of August came around, and
it was the monthly work permit and visa checks. My relevant
documentation was there in my bag, ready to show...but at the
key time I needed to show the relevant people the relevant
documents...they were gone. I was deported. Back to Mexico.
We are now shown a news article highlighting Del Rio’s
departure.

new permits and I was back, and so, simultaneously it would
seem, was Dolph Ziggler.
ADR: January the 20th saw me in a match with KENTA, and guess
who prevented me from winning. Yes, Dolph Ziggler. I didn't get
the redemption I wanted though. Though I got a match with him on
January the 28th, I defeated him in 5 minutes, and then he
escaped. I hoped that I could get a future match on a PPV, with
no rules...but there was Revolution business to be attended to.
We see Del Rio’s next match with Ziggler and Ziggler getting
pinned easy, then Del Rio in several matches as part of The
Revolution.

ADR: I left the company, healed my injury that i returned too
quick from and relaxed. September the 4th was what made me get
up and do something about this major itch, Dolph Ziggler.
Ziggler had just gone to hell and back to win the Universal
Championship. He defeated Sheamus on the Collision immediately
after and then he lost to Shawn Michaels the Collision after.
That was to be his last appearance on Collision for a while. And
that is because I planted drugs in his flight bag. Someone gave
a tip off to security and they were found. Dolph Ziggler was
fined, fired and stripped of the Universal Championship.
We see Ziggler’s Elimination Chamber win before him beating
Sheamus and then getting beta by HBK, before seeing Del Rio in
the ring.
[quote author=pat2007 link=topic=6.msg3857#msg3857
date=1369084729]
ADR: I now speak directly to you Dolph. You want to blame
someone? You want to fight someone over your poor little drug
planting scandal? Well here is your solution. You only have one
person to blame. Yourself. Your actions a year ago were an act
of cowardice and jealously. My actions were an act of Vengeance
or Retribution. And note this Ziggler. There is nothing. And I
mean nothing that you can do about it.
The words “nothing you can do about it” repeats several times as
Ziggler appears in the ring and Bloodies ADR with his weapon,
Hulk Hogan then comes out and faces both men.

Hogan: Dolph and Alberto, stay where you are right now! Dudes,
we don't settle those kind of issues that way. We usually settle
this the normal HCW way... And then again, I think the grudge
between both of you is too big to be settled on a regular Fusion
show... So, you two will go face-to-face... At Colleseum,
brother!
Crowd loves the announcement and we can see a very determined
Ziggler staring at Del Rio.
Hogan: And actually, I think I have an idea on how to determine
the stipulation for your match. Next week on Fusion, you'll both
compete in one-on-one matches... And you'll both get to choose
who will be the opponent of your Colleseum opponent. We usually
call it "Pick Your Poison!"
We see the main moves of Ziggler/Perfect where Perfect wins to
Alberto’s delight. Then in an epic main event, Del Rio makes
Rhodes tap and then appears on the screen.

ADR: My first match back, and that's what happens. I make the
Universal Champion cry like a little baby and tap out. Dolph
Ziggler has never defeated me before and now...the ball is in my
park. I choose an opponent for you, you lose to him. You provide
an opponent for me...one of the best on Fusion...and I beat
them. I now get to choose what kind of match we are in. At
Colleseum, I end this.
Del Rio is this time shown is locker room.

ADR: I would like to announce that as a result of me defeating
that pathetic joke of a champion Cody Rhodes, I get to pick my
stipulation for my match with Dolph Ziggler at Colleseum. I am
going to embarrass Dolph Ziggler by making him say I Quit.
That's all I've got to say.

Ziggler is sat on a plane facepalming.
DZ: I've been taking stock of my current life in HCW. That's why
I haven't been seen in Manchester yet. I've been home and came
back. I gotta get the negatives off my chest first.
Cody Rhodes: You tried valiantly out there and it was hard to
ask for more than what you gave. I know Alberto Del Rio is a
good competitor. I appreciate you caring but don't dwell on it.
We all suffer losses in this company. Thanks for trying man.
Perfect: You beat me fair and square. Well done. It won't happen
again. That's for sure.
And my last point is addressed to Alberto Del Rio. You beat The
Universal Champion on your first match in a HCW show for a year.
For that I congratulate you. You've chosen the right to make
this match an I Quit match. I can't take that away from you.
What I can do is suggest a little something though to go with
the match. You see, I was talking to the HCW Board not too long
ago and they're almost sure that someone is going to get hurt in
this match. They are worried about legal issues. I said I can
see what I can do. So this is what I can do. Why don't we clear
HCW and each other of any legal issues to us in this match? Why
don't we make sure we can go that extra step that no one else
can? Why don't we make this an Unsanctioned I Quit match? Think
on it Berto.
Manchester, Mr. Ratings will see you soon.
The theme song of the PPV begins to play as this end bit begins.
We see Del Rio pinning Ziggler and making him submit 1…2…3
times. We then see Ziggler making Triple H tap out and pointing
at Del Rio. They are both seen defeating Cody Rhodes then at the
start of the main event on the last Fusion Dusty Rhodes appears.

[Suddenly, Dusty Rhodes's music plays and the fans give him a
good reaction, as he comes to the ramp.]
Dusty: People of Manchester, I'm coming to announce the Board's
answer concerning your match at Colleseum!
I'll be short and sweet... We believe that since there is a lot
of history and bad blood between you two and with the fact that
Berto decided to pick an I Quit match... We've decided to accept
that the Colleseum match between you two becomes unsanctionned!
I just hope you're ready for what may occur...
The crowd cheers the Board's decision and Ziggler has a big
smile in his face while Del Rio doesn't seem as happy. He goes
to the ropes, trying to tell Dusty something, but Ziggler
clotheslines him out of the ring and the show ends with both men
staring at each other while security gets a hold of Perfect and
Edge, still brawling at ringside.
The music carries on playing and JR’s voice can be heard as the
words I Quit flash up on the screen.
JR: Five letters, two words: I Quit. The first to say it loses
the match!
Unsanctioned then flashes up and goes on top of I Quit
JR: HCW and the competitors are not responsible for any harm
that might occur in this match!
The match graphic appears of the two staring at each other as
the music dies out.
ADR: Dolph Ziggler. You can add Unsanctioned to it if you like.
Fact is, it being Sanctioned wouldn't stop me. I am not a short
of a few pesos so money isn't the issue. All you've done is made
you're false hope that you'll beat me higher. Because really,
you don't have a chance.

DZ: The talking is done Berto. The talking is done. All I need o
tell you to do now this match is Unsanctioned is make sure you
have a blank cheque ready for after our match. These private
hospitals are quite expensive, and see your bill being quite
high. But know this Alberto. You will say the most humiliating
five letters and two words in wrestling. I quit.
We go back to the skybox.
TG: Well, that video package really sums up how personal this
is, and I am now delighted to say we can go to Josh Mathews who
has Dolph Ziggler present. Josh?
JM: Thanks guys. Dolph, first how are excited are you about the
Battle Royale tonight?
DZ: Very. Hoepfully I’ll be in good health and with my great
number I am confident that I can put an end to this poor year
I’ve had in terms of out of the ring and start looking forward
to get the title I never lost back.
JM: And finally, what about Alberto Del Rio?
DZ: Tonight, I don’t have a choice but to defeat him. It is
necessary to say the least. If I don’t defeat Alberto Del Rio
tonight, I don’t know what I’ll do. No man bar Cody Rhodes has
beat me more times than Alberto Del Rio, and I took care of Cody
a fortnight ago. When I end this bad run of form against him
tonight, I can start looking to the future.
Ziggler brings his Trash Can lid into view.
DZ: My goals are imprinting this trash can lid on Alberto Del
Rio’s skull, making him quit and then winning The Battle Royale.
If I can achieve all that, it will be probably the greatest
night of my life as a HCW employee. In fact, it will be the
greatest night ever in the life of any HCW employee.
JM: Back up to you gentlemen.
TG: Thanks Josh, and now it’s time to turn to our panellists.
First Mr. Hogan, what does Alberto Del Rio need to do to defeat
Dolph Ziggler in this match?
Hogan: You know…strategy doesn’t come into it. You can’t plan
ways in which to make your opponent say those words. You’ve got
to do what you can and that’s it. For Del Rio though, I would
say he’s got to start using his Pool cue (which we will see by
the way) before Ziggler starts using his weapon of choice.
TG: Ok, and Mr. Tenay what about Dolph Ziggler?
Tenay: Man I don’t know, the best thing for him to do is to
treat this like a normal match and instead of going for a
pinfall where he thinks he could get three, keep doing big moves
then ask him if he wants to quit. Del Rio is going to quit off a
body slam, so he needs to dig deep in his reserves.
TG: Ok, Scott Steiner, who does the Unsanctioned I Quit match
stipulation favour?
SS: Nobody. These men are no strangers to brutal matches, but
it’s in neither man’s regular arsenal. There are no submissions
here, so that takes the submission element of the Cross
Armbreaker away, but if Ziggler passes out in that in a normal
match he would lose…he doesn’t here. He has to physically say I
Quit, but Ziggler will have to be careful he doesn’t frustrate
himself by making Del Rio go Unconscious too.
TG: Thanks for that insight Scott, but for now let’s get some
predicitions. First you Mike.
Tenay: The numbers and stats point to Del Rio, and I’ve got to
go with them. Berto for me.
TG: Hulk?
Hogan: Mike is right, but there is not a single hungrier and
more determined man at the minute than Dolph Ziggler. I think
it’s his time.
TG: And finally Scott?
SS: You know that interview that Ziggler just gave has changed
my mind…I’m saying Ziggler.
TG: Wow, well that’s sure to be a great match, but for now let’s
head down to JR, King and JBL for Global Title action!

---------------------------------------------------------
DING DING DING!
Justin Roberts: Ladies and gentlemen, this Pre-Show match is set
for one fall and it is for the Global Championship!
The Un-Americans theme song plays and the Miami's crowd boos
heavily for the number one contender to the title, Antonio
Cesaro, who makes his way on the ramp. He does his usual pose
before going towards the ring, not caring at all about the
crowd's reaction.
Roberts: Introducing first the challenger... From Luzerne,
Switzerland, weighing 232 pounds... Antonio Cesaroooooo!
The crowd boos even more, as Cesaro prepares himself for the big
task ahead.
WELLLLLLLL, IT'S THE BIG SHOWWWWW!
The crowd changes his boos for cheers as the Global Champion
comes to the ramp, title around his left shoulder. He slowly
makes his way to the ring, looking very focused.
Roberts: And his opponent... From Tampa, Florida, weighing 450
pounds.... He is the reigning, defending, HCW Global
Championnnn... The BIGGG SHOWWWWWWW!
The crowd gives the hometown champ a strong reaction and Show
acknowledges that. As Show poses towards the fans inside the
ring, he keeps a close eye on Cesaro, who stays on the opposite
corner. He then gives the belt to the referee, who lifts it up
above his head. He then gives it to a crew member.
JR: Big Show, the dominant champion, takes on one member of the
Un-Americans, Antonio Cesaro... And here we go!
JBL: This is a great opportunity for Antonio tonight, but I
wonder if Christian is still unhappy about that, as we don't see
him in Cesaro's corner, tonight.
King: I don't trust Christian at all. Show must be ready for
some shenanigans.
JR: Back to the action, guys. Show and Ceasro have locked up and
Cesaro tries to irish whip but Show's too strong and he throws
him into the ropes. Clothesline missed... Oh boy! There was some
height in that back drop there!
Cesaro lands hard and immediately gets to his knees, begging the
champion. Show come towards him, but he gives him a thumb to the
eye. He then gives him a couple of right hands and a chop, but
Show blocks a third punch attempt and it is his turn to hit some
painful chops before bringing him down with a clothesline. He
then picks him up, but Cesaro answers with a dropkick to the
left leg, than another one that brings the giant into his knees.
He then hits a couple of forearm smashes to the back of the
champion before going for a cover. Show will of course kick out
at one, throwing Cesaro to the ropes. Cesaro then runs the
ropes, but Show catches him and Gorilla Presses him to the
ground.
Show picks Cesaro up, but he answers with a kick on the
midsection and a back elbow to Show's face. Show tries to answer
with a clothesline, but Cesaro quickly counters with a crucifix.
Show would kick out at one again, though. Cesaro c0ckily slaps
Show in the face.
JBL: What are you doing Antonio? Don't try to get that giant
angry, it will end bad for you.
JR: And Show answers with an headbutt that brings Cesaro down.
Cesaro charges at Show but receives two consecutive hiptoss.
Show yells for the fans. He then picks Cesaro and goes for a
bodyslam, but Cesaro slides out of trouble and goes to the
ropes. Show charges at him, but Cesaro pushes the top rope down,
making the champion stumble out of the ring. Cesaro recuperates
for a moment while Show gets up. He finally decides to go to the
outside and he immediately goes after the champ, hitting him
with a couple of right hands. Show ducks the last one but as he
charges at Cesaro, he shoves him right into the guardrail. It
becomes a brawl for a couple of seconds until Show rolls Cesaro
back in.
He picks Cesaro and hits a beautiful Russian legsweep. Cesaro
crawls to the corner, but Show immediately goes to him and asks
for the crowd to be quiet...
King: That does not look good for Cesaro!
He slaps him hard on the chest, bringing Cesaro in a lot of
pain. He then does it a second time, which brings him down to
his knees.
JR: John, you've received these before. How did it feel?
JBL: Not good, JR. It's like your chest has been hit by a fast
car running towards you. It's that painful.
Show whips Cesaro into the ropes, but he ducks the clothesline
attempt and the challenger hits one of his own, staggering the
champion. He then runs the ropes and hits a second one, but Show
won't go down. He then runs the ropes again, ducks the
clothesline attempt, dropkick Show on the left leg again before
running and hitting a big boot to Show's jaw, finally bringing
him down. Cesaro covers but Show kicks out at early two. Cesaro
tries to whip Show in the corner, but Show easily reverses it.
As he charges at Cesaro, he receives a leg right on the face,
staggering him a little. Cesaro goes on top and goes for a
diving axe handle, but Show catches him in a gruelling bearhug.
JBL: Cesaro's in trouble there.
JR: What's Cesaro doing here? Beautiful counter... He just
picked Show's head and used a little bit of momentum to drop
Show with a DDT. Both men are down.
Cesaro gets up before the champion and drops an headbutt to
Show's midsection. He then applies a double reverse chinlock,
but Show easily breaks the hold. Cesaro tries to whip Show into
the ropes, but Show counters by literrally throwing him out of
the ring. Cesaro gets up and looks like he wants to leave, but
Show quickly makes sure that he won't, bringing him back inside
the ring. That was the opportunity Cesaro wanted, because he
hits a baseball slide, bringing the champion a little bit
groggy. He then goes on the apron and hits this time the diving
axe handle, bringing the giant down.
JR: Cesaro showing his in-ring smartness here. He finally got
the champion where he wants him to be.
JBL: I knew Cesaro would bring his A-Game tonight. He had to.
Cesaro brings Show back inside the ring and goes up top. He then
hits a painful double feet stomp to Show's ribs. He goes for the
cover, but the champ kicks out at two. He brings Show to his
feet and gives him a couple of right hands before trying to
throw Show in the corner, but it's reversed. Show goes for a
Spear but Cesaro pulls the ref in the way and it's him who
receives the move!
King: Oh no! The ref is down!
JBL: Cesaro's going up top, will he go for the Very European
Uppercut here?
JR: Here he goes... WEAPON OF MASS DESTRUCTION! Right on the
jaw, this one's over...
King: Well, there is no referee to count.
JBL: Show can try to revive the ref if he wants but I don't
think he'll matter. He's completely out.
JR: Now, Show is calling for the Chokeslam! Cesaro gets up
and... A blatant low-blow!
JBL: Brilliant move by the challenger, the ref can't see that
one. Now, he goes up top... And he hits Very European Uppercut.
This one could be over, boys!
JR: A new ref comes to the ring... Not this way... No! Show
KICKS OUT AT 2.5!
We see a visibly frustrated Cesaro who thought he had the match
won there. He then does his usual head-moving trademark pose.
JBL: Look out! You know what it means...
King: Can he seriously get Show up for the Neutralizer, though?
Cesaro goes and tries to pick Show for the Neutralizer but can't
lift him high enough on his first try, than on the second try.
He goes after Show's back, hitting him with plenty of fists. He
then tries for a third time, but Show counters with a very high
backdrop.
JR: Show got away from trouble there. Cesaro gets up... TIME TO
SLEEP, MR. CESARO!
JBL: That Weapon of Mass Destruction just dropped him out cold!
JR: And this one's over, folks! Big Show retains the Global
Title tonight against a very game Cesaro!
Winner and still Global Champion: The Big Show at 23:10
The referee raises the hand of a visibly tired Show, giving him
the title as well. Show poses for the fans before leaving the
ring. The Miami crowd is pumped up and very happy for his
champion.
JR: Big Show has held this title for quite some time and I
wonder if anyone can take it away from him.
JBL: I've yet to think of someone who can, right now. Show is
indeed on top of his game, but you gotta gave credit to Cesaro.
Love him or hate him, he nearly pulled off the upset tonight.
King: Well, I wonder why Christian didn't got involved in this
one. I think Cesaro will want some explaination... but only
after he wakes up from that nasty right hand from Show.
JR: We're now returning to the guys up top for the rest of the
Pre-Show. We'll see you for the Pay-Per-View in a couple of
hours from now.

We go back up to the skybox in the rapidly filling American
Airlines Arena.
TG: Well congratulations to The Big Show who has retained The
Global Champion, we can now go back to Mick Foley’s office where
I believe Christian is drawing his number.
Christian is already in the process of drawing his number. He
looks quite moody, and his expression stiffens slightly when he
sees his number. He turns round as Cesaro, still clutching his
head comes in. Christian gives Foley his number and walks off
without a saying word, and is immediately replaced by Antonio
Cesaro.
Foley: Ah, Antonio. Hard luck out there.
Cesaro glares at Foley and doesn’t respond., He draws his number
and has an indifferent look on his face. He hands Foley his
number and walks off without saying a word.
Foley: Have the Unamericans lost their voicebox or something?
We return to the Skybox.
TG: Well, it is now time to turn our attention to preview next
match. This next match will be Tables, Ladders and Chairs and
will be for The Crimson Deathmatch title. Let’s see how Edge and
Mr. Perfect first came to blows over this title…at Ground Zero!
Perfect is shown retaining that title against RVD, and then Edge
comes out and cashes in Money in the Bank. Perfect gets
intentionally counted out and loses the match but keeps his
title. Perfect then appears on screen.
[quote author=Red Milk Chocolate link=topic=6.msg3662#msg3662

Curt appears right outside the medical room, blood still gushing
from his face.
Perfect: Hey, Todd, interme view!
Todd: What?
Perfect: You heard me. Don't you want to get my thoughts on my
matches?
Todd: ... uh... sure?
Perfect: Good boy. Now, going into this match I knew it would be
a breeze, but I had no idea I'd be done with Robbie in less than
eight minutes. He's probably still out cold somewhere. The good
guy in me is kinda hoping I didn't end his career. Anyway,
moving on to the biggest b!tch of the night... Edge! Hahahahaha!
Ahahahaha!
Curt continues laughing for a solid minute while Todd is just
standing there, hoping Curt keeps his eyes closed long enough
for him to escape, but just as Todd begins to move, Curt's eyes
pop open.
Perfect: Ahh... Yup. First he loses to two girls and then he
wastes his golden opportunity. Don't feel too bad, Edge. I lost
when I cashed in too, though I lost to Brock Lesnar and it was
for the Universal championship... Something I obviously deserve,
seeing how I wiped the floor with two different wrestlers
tonight. Anyway, I'm going to get the **** outta here before
Edge sees me.
Curt bows, letting blood drip onto the ground and runs away.
[quote author=Thurl link=topic=6.msg3666#msg3666
date=1367304609]
Edge: I am going to find Perfect and I am going to spear him out
of a career. He thinks he is clever running away. Big man he is.
I know why he ran, he was scared, he knew I had the match and
was going to win. He ran to keep from losing his title. Well, he
needs a new contender for Colleseum, and I intend to finish what
I started at Ground Zero. I may be a lot of things, but when a
title is on the line, I defend it. I don't run away from a
fight.
Edge is then seen in Hogan’s office.
[quote author=Thurl link=topic=6.msg3726#msg3726
date=1367979398]
Edge: I know you saw what happened at Ground Zero 'brother!' I
am tired of the wait and want you to tell me what the plan is
for Perfect. He made the title look like crap. He..
Hogan: Look Edge, I understand your anger. We are all angry
about it, but I will be announc...
Edge: I want to know right now.
Hogan:I was perfectly clear, dude, about when I will deal the
CDM title situation. And seriously, I couldn't give a damn about
what you want, Edge. I'm not working for you specifically, but
for all my Hulkamaniacs watching Fusion...
Now, as far as the CDM title situation goes, I'll tell you one
simple thing: After I'm done speaking with Perfect at Fusion,
dude, everybody will be happy.... Well, almost everybody.
[quote author=pat2007 link=topic=6.msg3782#msg3782
date=1368555338]
Hogan: Let this be over with already… Mr. Perfect… Come on down,
I need to talk to you, right now.
After several seconds of wait, Perfect’s music is heard and the
crowd heavily boos Perfect, who looks quite serein. He comes to
the ring, looking as c0cky as he’s ever been. He asks for a
microphone as he enters the ring.
Perfect: So, what is it, boss? You liked my match at Ground
Zero…
Hogan: If you’re talking about the one with RVD, I was
impressed… As for what happened after that… Not so much!
Perfect: Ah, come on, Hulk. You know as well as I do that Edge
tried to be a coward and cash in his briefcase on a tired man…
Hogan: That’s what they call… « Being Opportunistic », Perfect.
You know Edge as much as I know him…
Perfect: So why was I considered a bad guy out there? Edge tries
to be opportunistic and looks like the bad guy, yet the fans
cheer for him…
Hogan: You know something, Perfect… Do you know what the title
you have around your waist means?
Perfect: That title… It means… I don’t give a damn what it
means. I just know that the title has gained more prestige since
it’s come around my waist…
Hogan: All about you, again… I’ll remind you of the real
prestige of that title. This title has been forged for the tough
SOB who have been competing in the most barbaric matches this
company ever had. People who have won that title have never
backed out of a fight and they never acted like cowards. Guys
like Bret, Samoa Joe, Foley, RVD or even Scott Steiner never
backed down from a fight…
Perfect: Come on, Hulkster! Don’t give me that crap again. I
didn’t back down from Edge, I just did what he always does, and
that’s taking care of the opportunity…
Hogan: Enough… You seriously don’t think that I’m serious. Well,
I’ve got some news for you, dude… You’re going to defend that
title at Colleseum, and this time, you won’t be able to run away
from this match.
Perfect: Why are you expecting that I would run away? I’m
repeating for your own two ears… I left the match because Edge
was trying to take advantage of the fact that I was tired from
my match with RVD. It’s because he knows that he can’t beat me
fair and square…
Hogan: I’m not Edge, but I can definitely remind you that he has
beaten you “Fair and Square” many times before. But at
Colleseum, you’ll have the chance to prove me wrong, as you’ll
defend that title one-on-one against Edge!
Crowd cheers for the match. Mr. Perfect doesn’t look as happy as
he was early on. Hogan goes to leave, but stops as he’s close to
the ropes. He turns around to stare at Perfect.
Hogan: Before I forget… It’ll be a Tables, Ladders and Chairs
Match!
Hogan leaves as Perfect looks very unhappy of Hogan’s decision.
We then see a shot at Edge’s locker room, where he looks at the

Perfect: Edge, keep trash talking the good guy. You remember,
Ziggles, right? The guy that beat you six times? Yeah, I just
manhandled him.

We then go to the ring.

Metalingus blasts the arena and the audiences gives a decent pop
to the number one contender for the Crimson Death match
Champion, who is sitting atop a tall ladder in the middle of the
ring. In front of the ladder is a pyramid made of tables and
chairs.
Edge: Take a good look ImPerfect, this is my home. This is the
Tables, Ladders and Chairs match. This is where you will lose
the Crimson Deathmatch title. I am not bragging, and I am not
overconfident. This is MY match. I rarely lose this one. You
brought up Ziggles and his 6 and 1 record against me. I find it
funny. You see, this is the one match that even Ziggles refuses
to face me in. So be as confident as you want Perfect, but know
this, your only keeping that belt warm for me. After Colleseum I
will be walking out with that title, and I don't plan on leaving
you in good enough shape to enter the battle royal.
Edge poses as his music hits again and the fans pop.

Edge's music is cut off as Mr. Pefect's music plays. Curt struts
out onto the ramp with his title around his waist.
Perfect: Keeping it warm? When was the last time you even held
this belt? When was the last time you held any belt? Keeping
what warm, Edge? You're a hasbeen. A never was. A relic of
yesteryear. You don't belong in the ring. You belong in a god
damn retirement home. You want to challenge me for my title?
Don't you remember what happened last time? You cashed in your
briefcase on an exhausted opponent. And you lost!
You lost, Edge. And then you have the audacity to say I'm
keeping this belt warm for you? No, Edge. No. Just run along
before you get hurt. Cancel this stupid match and just go home
where you belong.

Edge: You would like that wouldn't you? You would love for me to
go to Hogan and ask him to change the match and said I am too
old to be in the match, or I am too weak cause I didn't beat you
last time. Well forget it imPerfect, you aren't getting out of
it that easily. It's big words bragging about a win over me when
what really happened is that you ran rather than face me. You
know that you can't beat me and proved it last month at Ground
Zero when you walked out instead of finishing the match. Don't
talk to me about losing a match when you didn't have the guts to
finish it in the first place. Which by the way means I beat you
by count out, not the other way around.

Perfect: You are too old to be in the match. You are too weak.
And it isn't something for me to get out of, it's something for
you. I'm doing you a favor. You see Edge, I met your family
recently. Both of your divorced wives. I showed them
'Perfection'. I'm talking about my dick. But I'm begging you to
think about them and the rest of your family. I know they'll be
watching and I don't want to hurt you. I don't want to hurt you
and I don't want you to hurt yourself.
Your career is over, Edge. I'm not trying to be hurtful or mean.
I'm just trying to be honest. That's what the good guy would do.
It's over Edge. It's over.
The video package ends with Perfect and Edge staring down in the
ring and the CDM Title hung up high, and we head back to the
Skybox.
TG: Well, we don’t know what will happen tonight, all we know is
that there will be Tables, Ladders and Chairs. It’s now time to
turn to our panel of experts, now I ask Mr. Hogan a question
that in my opinion should have a very simple answer. Who does
this stipulation of TLC favour?
Hogan: Well, even though the unlikely reign of Perfect has seen
him in some brutal matches, TLC is Edge’s house and always will
be. He hasn’t lost many and the fact is he is facing a novice in
this match so it favours Edge.
TG: Thanks Hulk, Scott, what does Mr. Perfect Curt Hennig have
to do to win this thing?
SS: Well he’s certainly been in Edge’s head lately, I would say
he’s got to try and stay on top and beat him in a way that
Tables, Ladders and Chairs may not be necessary.
TG: Thank you and what do you say Mike on what Edge needs to do?
Tenay: Well he needs to make sure he takes advantage of the TLC
rules and dig the weapons out and use them to his advantage. If
he does that, he should have no issues defeating Mr. Perfect in
this type of match.
TG: So Mike your prediction is Edge?
Tenay: New champion Edge, yes.
TG: What say you Hulk?
Hogan: He’s had a good reign, but I think he’s losing his belt
tonight. Edge to beat Perfect tonight.
TG: And finally Scott do you give a clean sweep to Edge?
SS: I am a man that’s used to defending the title against the
odds. It wasn’t easy, but no champ has had his back against the
wall this much since me. If Perfect can pull this out the bag
then he should be considered as one of the best CDM champs ever.
But I don’t see it. Its Edge’s to lose in my opinion.
TG: Well thanks guys, our next match we are previewing will be
for the Universal Championship, but first let’s interview one of
our participants, Cody Rhodes!
#Post#: 4146--------------------------------------------------
Re: Colleseum Preshow
By: ControversyPersonified Date: June 13, 2013, 9:08 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
As soon as we see Cody's face, the crowd in Miami goes
ballistic.
JM: The first question I wanna ask you, Cody, is this: Does the
losing streak you've been suffering since winning the Universal
Title at Ground Zero have an effect on your focus for your title
match in just a few days?
Rhodes: My focus? No my focus is on Kurt Angle and keeping
this title. And maybe that has attributed to my losing streak
but I can promise you, Colleseum will be my night.
JM: Okay, one last question… Has Kurt Angle entered your head
lately, especially with the fact that we saw some unusual
aggression from you last Collision?
Rhodes : Kurt has always been in my head. But at Ground Zero,
I got into his. What I did on Collision was very
uncharacteristic of myself, but I sent a message to Kurt. The
message was recieved and I'll send him one more by beating him
once again at Colleseum.
JM : Thanks for your time, champ. Good luck out there!
Rhodes : Any time Josh, thanks for having me.
We return to the skybox.
TG: Now, this match is one of the most anticipated rematches of
the year. Cody Rhodes will defend his newly won Universal
Championship against the man he beat for it at Ground Zero, Kurt
Angle! And this match could be one hell of a classic, as both
men will compete in a two-out-of-three falls match. Let’s see
what occurred since those two collided at Ground Zero.
[quote author=pat2007 link=topic=40.msg3704#msg3704
date=1367778396]The crowd gives easily the best reaction of the
entire night, as Cody’s pounding the mat in disbelief that he
finally did it.
J.R.: Finally! The title that has been eluding his reach for so
long… Is finally his!!! And listen to the crowd’s reaction.
The crowd chants Cody’s name loudly while the referee hands Cody
the title. He still can’t believe it, as he goes on his knees,
looking at the title. We can definitely see some tears coming
from his eyes. Suddenly, we see his partner-in-crime, Zack
Ryder, running to the ring. Cody sees it and they embrace, to
the crowd’s delight. Cody then goes to the turnbuckle, lifting
the title way above his head, as he looks like the happiest man
in the world right now.
Suddenly, Hogan’s music plays and the Broskis shift their focus
to the ramp, where the Fusion’s GM is seen clapping hands. He’s
followed suit by a visibly happy Dusty, who applauds even
more.
[quote author=pat2007 link=topic=6.msg3782#msg3782
date=1368555338]*The crowd pops huge for the new Universal
Champion, the youngest one ever to be exact and Cody is soaking
up all the cheers. He makes way to the ring slowly, making sure
to slap hands with everyone in attendance. He then walks into
the ring and poses on all four turnbuckles and the crowd is
going crazy. He goes near the ropes and a stage crew hands him a
mic*
Wow.
*The crowd starts chanting Cody and he takes another couple
seconds soaking it up, before smirking and calming them down*
You know, I've dreamed of this moment all my life. I dreamed of
the day I'd walk down that ramp with the Universal Title. I
dreamed of how great it would feel to hold this title and to
have all of you great fans cheering your asses off in approval.
I've dreamed of this moment so many times but I never imagined
it would feel this good!
*Cody takes another minute to soak up the cheers*
You know, when I lost in the main event at Birth of Destruction
last year, I thought, there went my chance, I'll never get
another opportunity to become Universal Champion again. But I
kept fighting, I kept pushing, and I wouldn't give up. I still
had something to prove as far as I was concerned and so I did
what I had to. I did what I had to, to show everybody I was
worthy of representing this company and wearing this belt.
*Cody takes the title off of his waist and raises it up*
Fast forward to April 1st, the day I was named the number one
contender. Hulk saw something in me. He saw that fire and that
passion and so he took a chance on some kid. He gave me
something not everybody gets; he gave me a second chance. I'd be
going up against one of the toughest competitors in HCW, Kurt
Angle.
*the mention of Kurt's name gets a mixed reaction, with more
boos present then cheers*
So after all the mind games and trash talk, Ground Zero came and
it was put up or shut up time. Kurt pushed me to my limits, no;
Kurt pushed me past my limits. He pushed me to be a champion and
one Cross Rhodes later, I became just that. I became Universal
Champion!
*the crowd pops once again for Cody and he is all smiles*
The crowd gives a negative reaction to the former champion, who
comes to the ramp. He walks with some intention towards the ring
and quickly asks for someone to give him a mic, which he would
get.
Angle: Cody, those are very strong words. And you know
something; I can understand how you feel right now, kid. I felt
almost exactly the same when I won my first WWF championship 13
years ago… It was also my second try; the only difference was
that my first shot at the championship was in a triple threat
and it wasn’t on the biggest show of the company like yours.
Anyway, I just wanted to tell you that I’ve made an awful
mistake at Ground Zero… I underestimated your desire and hunger,
kid. You deserved the victory out there and I’ll be the first to
congratulate you… But I’ll also be the first to bring you back
towards reality… You are now the target of every single wrestler
backstage but most importantly, you’re my target, Cody!
Cody stares seriously at Kurt, who isn’t backing down.
Angle: Now, I’ve heard what Foley said yesterday and I won’t
make him wait longer… Colleseum… I’m invoking my rematch there,
Cody… And I’ll give you one hell of a test to go through… We’ll
see if you’ll become a legend or just a flash in the pan. We’ll
see if you’re the St. Louis Cardinals… Or the losers that are
the St. Louis Blues!!!
The crowd, who cheered when Kurt talked about the Cards, boos
him when he talks about the Blues. Cody lets a smile go.
Angle: And your test will be quite simple to understand…
Two-out-of-three falls… First fall… A regular match… The second…
A Submission match…. And if we have to go to a final fall to
decide of everything… The title will be up above and we’ll have
to grab it… A ladder match! This time around, what you’ll see is
a very different Kurt Angle… The roles are reversed kid… Good
luck.
Angle extends his hand and looks like he wants to have an hand
shake. After several seconds, Cody goes to shake it, but Angle
responds with an hard slap on Cody’s face, to the crowd’s
disapproval. Angle quickly leaves the ring and goes to the ramp,
smiling at what he has done. Rhodes stares daggers towards him,
as we go to a commercial break.
We then see footage of Kurt and Cody going on their losing
streaks, then we see Kurt Angle attacking Cody from behind on
Fusion after a match with Del Rio. We then see Kurt standing in
the middle of the ring
[quote author=Thurl link=topic=6.msg4081#msg4081
date=1370674572]
Angle: In a couple of days from now, I'll step inside the ring
to right the wrong that I've caused at Ground Zero.
My Universal Title reign was becoming one of the greatest this
company ever had. I'll never say that it was close to the ones
of guys like Orton or Brock... But you have to admit that the
reign I had was beginning to be considered as one of the
greatest this company ever had.
And then came Ground Zero... I came up flat and I came up with
too much confidence... It caused me to lose the one thing that
has been the most precious to me recently...
Cody Rhodes... You had your moment of glory... But you know
what's funny, champ? Ever since we've faced... We both are on
losing streaks... And we both been disappointed about it...
As for mine, losing to Ryback days after losing the Universal
Title didn't faze me... Losing to Cena didn't faze me either, as
we've exchanged wins for the last few years... But losing to
Steiner last week... It hurt me, Cody. Because I badly wanted to
send a message to you by taking care of that genetic freak and I
failed...
This is why I did what I did on Fusion... I'm no longer
concerned about the fans... I'm no longer concerned about my
image... I'm simply concerned about my legacy and I NEED to win
back the Universal Title! I've sent you a message last Fusion
and later tonight, I'll send another one when I'll beat the
Global Champion, again...
Suddenly, "Smoke and Mirrors" plays and the crowd erupts for the
Universal Champion. He looks more serious that he's been in
quite some time. He comes towards the ring. Angle smiles, as
Cody enters the ring.
Angle: So, what will the good boy do? Talk about...
He's stopped suddenly as Cody speared him to the ground and
began unloading on him, as the crowd's amped. Angle pushes him
away and ducks a clothesline attempt before catching Cody with
an overhead belly-to-belly suplex, to the crowd's boos. Angle
prepares behind Cody, who's getting up. Angle tries for the
Angle Slam, but Cody slides out of the way, runs to the ropes,
jumps and hits Beautiful Disaster right on Angle's jaw. Angle
rolls out of the ring, while the fans give a very strong
reaction to Cody, who's pumped up. He picks Angle's mic and goes
down close to the ropes. His face is on the second rope, staring
down at the man he'll face at Colleseum.
Well... I guess that it's your turn to receive a message. You
say that your over-confidence cost you the title at Ground Zero.
What if it was just the fact that I'm better than you, Kurt? And
I'll prove it at Colleseum, even if I need to climb a ladder and
take this (He shows the Universal Title) from the rooftops! I'll
see you there, Kurt!
Cody gets up and raises the title above his head. Angle finally
gets up and stares at the champion.
We then see a shot of Angle hitting the Angle Slam on Cody, we
see a shot of Cody hitting Cross Rhodes on Kurt and the video
package ends with a ladder shown and both men exchanging a
staredown, before we come back to the skybox.
TG: This match could seriously be a candidate for the 2013 Match
of the Year award. Scott, do you think that Angle has entered in
Cody’s head?
Steiner: Sincerely, Angle can enter his head all he wants, Cody
just needs to focus on the task at hand. As I proved a couple of
weeks back, Angle is not unbeatable and I know what Cody can
bring to the table.
TG: Hulk, I know that Cody is coming from your brand, but what
do you think of his losing streak?
Hogan: It’s so tough to stay who you are when you’re on top of
the mountain. There’s so much pressure from your peers and a lot
coming from under, as everyone wants the spot you have. Cody
just needs to put his focus on the task at hand for Colleseum.
TG: Mr. Tenay, Kurt has slightly changed his attitude lately. Do
you think it’s about what happened at Ground Zero?
Tenay: It definitely is about the fact that he stated that he
was over-confident of his ability to beat Cody. Now that he is
the hunter, his newfound aggression will help him, that’s for
sure. And there’s nothing more dangerous right now for Cody than
an aggressive Angle.
TG: May I suggest that you’re picking for him to win the title
back?
Tenay: Yep. His win against the Global Champion last Collision
was the icing on the cake for me.
TG: Hulk, will you have any bias for the man from your brand?
Hogan: It’s a tough call, I’ve been the victim of the aggressive
side of Angle and Cody must be ready for it. I think he will be…
but my gut tells me that maybe the pressure is too much for him
to handle… Angle, as much as it pains me.
TG: I see, and for you, Scott… Who does this match favors?
Steiner: Cody must show the passion he showed when he was the
challenger. I definitely think they’ll both bring their A-Game
on the night, but I see Angle getting the belt back and
potentially extending this rivalry.
TG: Well, we’re about to interview one of the two competitors
for this match. Kurt Angle is with Matt Striker?
MS: Now present is The Number One Contender to the Universal
Heavyweight Champion...Kurt Angle!
Kurt appears on screen and the crowd gives him a lot of boos.
Angle doesn't seem fazed by the reaction, though.
MS: First off Kurt, how confident are you going into this match?
Angle: Just enough confident to go out there and regain what's
mine.
MS: Some people have been casting doubt on your stipulation
choices. You have already been defeated by Cody Rhodes in a
regular match. While you have a very good Submission hold, you
were defeated by Scott Steiner in a match of that type, and some
may say that a Ladder match suits Cody Rhodes more. What do you
have to say that?
Angle: Scott Steiner has a great Submission of his own. Cody
uses the Figure-4 like his daddy used to do. On this important
night, my submission trumps them all...
And my record in ladder matches is not as bad as you may think.
MS: Well thanks Kurt. One last thing, is there anything more you
would like to say to Cody?
Angle: Cody, I'm simply going to break your spirit and your
ankle for good! Oh, It's True! It's ****ing True!
MS: Thanks Kurt.
We go back to Todd, Mike, and Hulk in the Skybox.
TG: Well what a match that will be. Now, as you can see Scott is
not with us as he is gone to draw his number in Mick Foley’s
office.

We go backstage to Foley’s office.
Foley: Thanks for agreeing for being on the panel and sharing
your knowledge with us over the last two PPVs.
SS: No problem.
Foley: There is one ball left. Please draw it.
Steiner does so, and looks relatively happy before handing Foley
it and walking off. We go direct to our next match preview.

Hart: Are you ready for this? I've beaten both of those guys
before. Now, we can beat them together. I think it's time we get
our names on those tag-titles!

Highlights are shown of nWo/Prophecy which shows nWo getting on
top and advancing to Colleseum.

I guess we should just give up. I wasn't aware that we just
couldn't compete in that match at all cause we have no chance.
(Sabu smirks)
Hart: Seriously, it doesn't matter the match. We've got this.
(They high five)
We see each participant performing their finisher before the Tag
Titles get held up high in the ring.
TG: Well, The Synergy Tag Titles on the line in this one, this
is going to a good tag team match, but there is other orders of
business for other things. First, Mr. Hulk Hogan: What is the
deal with The Undertaker these days?
Hogan: You know, I just don't know. Neither Mick nor myself
could get the guy to answer a phone. I have no idea who this
surprise will be.
TG: There has been speculation in some circles that you will
lace up your boots again and that you in fact are the surprise.
Hogan: Well that's flattering dude, but you know that the last
match I fought was it. I always say never say never, but I don't
forsee it in the future.
TG: Ok, and Mike what do you think about Lacey Von Erich’s
disappearence?
Tenay: You know this mystery is so crazy and so involved that
there is really no way to know. I just hope she is ok.
TG: And to you Scott, what do you say about both teams strategy
tonight?
SS: Well, The Beautiful People have been lucky in some defences
lately and the if they can get another bit of luck then they
could retain. For the nWo, it will just be to control the match
at there own pace.
TG: Ok, thanks. Now finally, predictions. Hulk?
Hogan: Got to be nWo for me.
TG: Scott?
SS: Cosigned.
TG: Mike?
Tenay: Sorry ladies I say the same. The New World Order.
TG: Ok thanks guys, now we are nearly at an end on this preview
show, but there is one more match left to look at. The Colleseum
Battle Royale. Here to explain how it works is one of the
referees for this match, Brian Hebner. Brian?
Hebner: Well, there are twenty men in this who have all drew
their numbers. One and Two will start, then every two minutes a
new entrant will make their way out. This will keep going till
we get to number twenty. You are eliminated by being thrown or
placed over the top rope with both feet hitting the floor. No
more, no less. Once you have been eliminated you must go back to
your locker room, and the winner will be the last man left in
the ring, and they will go onto to Birth of Destruction VI to
face The Universal Champion!
TG: Ok, thanks Brian, now for the last preview of this Pre-Show,
we’ll go to the trademark match of this PPV. A match that helps
to define careers, build feuds and also to end some. A match
that decides who gets to be competing in the main-event of Birth
of Destruction VI… The Colleseum Over-the-top-rope Battle Royal!

A video package begins with footage of last year’s match, mostly
the end where Cody eliminated Del Rio, Bryan and Goldberg in
quick succession to win the match. We then see him holding the
Universal Title at Ground Zero this year. We then see some
footage of the number drawings, with Ziggler showing his number
20.
[quote author=Sam link=topic=6.msg4085#msg4085
date=1370716877]The Verizon Wireless Arena goes all dark and
stays like that for 15 seconds. Zigglers music then hits and the
fans pop big for him as he shows off. He takes a mic in the ring
with him.
Ziggler: Next, I've got to talk about The Colleseum Battle
Royale. The best number I could get, I got. On my first night
back in HCW I said my long term goal was to get back the
Universal Title. No one is more deserving than me. I will win
the Battle Royale and win the belt I wasn't defeated for at
Birth of Destruction.
20 of the best wrestlers HCW has…
We see some of them doing their trademark poses.
In a match that can define careers…
We see a shot of last year’s edition, with plenty of guys inside
the ring.
I've waited all my life to get out of the trenches
I'm ready to fight for what I believe you can steal from me
I won't take this
Gonna fill these trenches and stand up
We see The Machines together.
Wake up,
We see Shane Douglas getting up.
I won't give up…
We see Steiner and Ziggler together
Cause here I come, here I come, yeahhhhhhhhhh
Stand up
We see the Prophecy inside the ring.
Wake up
We see Ted DiBiase’s face.
I won't give up
We see Cena doing his trademark pose.
Cause here I come, here I come, yeahhhhhhhhh
We then see the Un-Americans and to finish the video, we see
some quick action between some of the competitors before we see
a last shot at the Universal Title and his current holder, Cody
Rhodes.
TG: Wow! That was a nice video package. Anyway, I’ll begin with
our Fusion GM. Hulk, how important is that match for a
wrestler’s career?
Hogan: It has a good importance. Just look at the one man who
won it last year. He maybe didn’t win the title last year, but
it was the stepping stone that got him to where he is right now.
TG: Very solid point. Scott, what is the strategy going in to
this type of match?
Steiner: Well, having eyes in the back of your head definitely
helps, as you can ally yourself with somebody for a short time,
yet it is every man for himself. Always try to stay as far away
from the ropes, if you can. That also helps.
TG: Good advices. Mike, We know who has number 20. Will it help
Ziggler?
Tenay: If Ziggler wouldn’t have a match earlier on, it would
definitely be an advantage. But we won’t know until his match
with Del Rio if he’ll be healthy enough to use this advantage.
TG: So, who do you pick?
Tenay: I’ll go with somewhat of an unpopular pick. I’ll go with
Christian, because not only does he not compete before this
match, but because he’s as cunning as they come and that helps
tremendously in that type of match.
TG: Scott, may I presume that you’ll be picking himself to win?
Steiner: Well, your presumption is right. I would be crazy not
to believe that I will win. I’m also not competing outside of
this match, which is a huge advantage.
TG: Outside of you, who is your wild-card?
Steiner: Dolph. I do respect the kid and the way he delivered
against me at Ground Zero kinda tells me that it’s maybe his
time.
TG: And last, Mr. Hogan… Will you go with a Fusion guy?
Hogan: I would like to and I believe that Ziggler has the most
chances out there, but my gut tells me that John Cena will win
this. He has the experience, and like Steiner and Christian, he
doesn’t compete before this match. Expect a very hungry Cena out
there and expect a lot of rivalries either being formed or
continued out there.
TG: Thanks, Hulkster. This concludes our Pre-Show, folks. Well,
