2015 Ground Zero Pre-Show!
By: pat2007 Date: July 28, 2015, 12:06 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
We are inside Scottrade Center and the crowd starts to fill out
the arena nicely. We then get a shot at the skybox and we see
the host, Todd Grisham, sitting to the far left side.
Grisham: My name is Todd Grisham and this is the Ground Zero
Pre-Show! We’re only a few hours from the PPV, which you can
still buy. Call your local provider for more informations or go
to HCW . com… Our Pre-Show always has a great panel and this one
makes no exception. First off, definitely one of the best
wrestlers HCW has on his roster and a multi-time champion in the
company, none other than the Show-Off, Dolph Ziggler!
Ziggler smiles before waving at the camera. Crowd boos.
Grisham: Next is a man who newly joined the Fusion commentary
booth, Steve Corino!
Corino simply waves at the camera.
Grisham: And last, our co-CEO and Cheap Pop Artist, Mick Foley!
Grisham and Foley laugh at that line while he makes his thumbs
up gesture to the crowd’s big pop.
Grisham: Before we start talking about this PPV, let’s check
what happened not only the last time we were on PPV but also
some footage of the special event named Survive If I Let You!
We then go to a video footage of No Safe Haven, which was held
two months ago. It starts with Daniel Bryan getting the slight
edge over his friend Jeff Hardy to retain the International
Title, continues with the Shield retaining their Synergy title
belts against the Mean Girls before going to the footage of
Dolph Ziggler beating Matt Morgan in a no-DQ unexpected matchup.
It then shows the Extreme Elimination Chamber match that saw
Kofi Kingston win the CDM Title for the third time, Edge beating
Kevin Owens in a brutal TLC match before showing the win for the
team of Shamrock and Douglas against two members of S.C.U.M. It
then shows Vader retaining the Global Title over Prince Devitt,
Bret and Rock ending in a double DQ before we see Cody Rhodes
retain the Universal Title over Magnus.
We then see the footage of the three matches of Survive If I Let
You, with Randy Orton standing tall for Team Bryan against Team
Golden Generation, Bret Hart, with some controversy, being the
sole survivor of Team Jacobs over Team Shamrock and Taz finally
ending the reign of Cody Rhodes as Universal Champion in his
arena, the ECW one in Philly…
Grisham: These shows have changed the landscape of HCW but we
must now look to the future… A slight future, that is, as we’ll
start the Pre-Show with a preview of the match we’ve just heard
that would start Ground Zero later tonight. The Synergy Tag Team
Titles will be on the line and we have to wonder if the Golden
Generation duo of Kevin Owens and HHH will be ready to deal with
two angry Hounds of Justice as they’ll face the current Synergy
Tag Team Champions.
Let’s see how we got to this point!
We first start the video package with footage of the Shield’s
domination over the Tag Team Division in the last several
months. We then see the footage of the number one contender tag
team match that saw Owens and Hunter win against Rated RKO in
controversial fashion.

Rollins:Kevin... Hunter... Me and Roman are pretty glad that
you've earned a shot at our Synergy Tag Team Titles... You wanna
know why? Because we are the Hounds of Justice and we've found
our new prey to feed ourselves...
Am I right, Roman?
[quote author=Black Widow link=topic=6.msg8568#msg8568
date=1433488817]
Roman nods his head at Rollins and grins.
Roman: We've already demonstrated time and time again why we are
the most dominant faction in HCW history, and Seth and I have
shown why we are the greatest tag team champions in the history
of HCW.
And Kevin Owens... Triple H... if you're not down with that,
I've got two words for you... bring it.
[quote author=MrAwesome link=topic=6.msg8569#msg8569
date=1433527929]
(Owens smirks at Roman's comments)
Owens: Clever, you're such a clever guy, Roman. Look at you
referencing Triple H's past. It must have taken a lot of brain
power to come up with that one. You guys have definitely had a
good run. I'm not blind I can see that. However, all good things
must come to an end. Your run as the dominant group in HCW is
over. The Golden Generation is the new top dog around here. So,
the "hounds of justice" are about to be put down. Triple H and I
are more than happy to take you two behind the woodshed and put
you guys down for good.
We'll "bring it". You'll regret ever telling us to "bring it".
[quote author=MrAwesome link=topic=6.msg8604#msg8604
date=1433908648](Owens is in the Golden Generation's locker
room)
Owens: I'm going to make one thing perfectly clear. You see
everybody knows that the Golden Generation is not happy
especially Triple H and Cody. Well, I am not happy either. I am
tired of everybody getting involved in the business in the
Golden Generation. However, I am a focused person. My targets
are Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. You see I've known Rollins
for years. Now, he got the call from HCW before I did, but that
doesn't make him any better than me. He and Roman have had an
impressive run. I've said that before. They are skilled. Reigns
comes from a great wrestling family.
You see a lot of people around here probably think I'm all bark
and no bite. Well, as much as my victories haven't been there,
the bite has been. I have plenty of bite. I'm willing to show
everybody on Collision that. So believe me, Triple H and I are
going to take those titles. Our years of experience will bring
us that victory. Our ruthless aggression will pound it home.
In regards to what Triple H said, there are many men that the
Golden Generation needs to destroy. Taz, Orton, Edge, and Bryan
are all men on that list. If I see any of them in front of me at
any point on Collision, I'm going to hurt them just like when I
hurt Rollins and Reigns.
So, I'm going to become Synergy Tag-Team Champions with Triple
H. We are going to do that by running through everybody in our
path especially for all those who have decided to go to war with
us! The Shield, you guys are truly the targets though and I
can't wait till we take away your titles. I can't wait till we
are the reason that makes The Shield break!
[quote author=pat2007 link=topic=6.msg8605#msg8605
date=1433915099]
We see the Shield in their usual spot. Only Rollins is looking
at the cameraman...
Rollins: Big words coming from you, Kevin... Let me make a
couple of things pretty straight with you...
The fact that I got my chance here in HCW before you doesn't
change the fact that I usually win more than I lose, which isn't
much your case since you've arrived...
But don't think we are underestimating you and Hunter... I've
faced you in other companies before... You don't look menacing
at first but you are one pretty dangerous man... And Hunter, as
much of a jacka$$ that he is, still has competed in this company
for years and won several titles along the way.
Years of experience? Maybe, but we've had plenty of experience
as well and we fought a formidable duo of Rock and Cena, both
Hall-Of-Famers with plenty of experience and we've beat them two
times and the second one was as clean as it could be...
Ruthless Aggression? Yeah... But we ain't soft, Kevin... Ask
guys like Orton, Christian, Jericho and others how ruthless we
can really be in our quest for justice...
As a matter of fact, people can think we are good guys now...
But we haven't changed a bit from our early days... All three of
us wants to eradicate the injustice running around this company
and your group has become exactly what we hate...
Which is why despite all of your threats, you'll find out why me
and Roman have been holding these belts for as long as we did...
And Dean will bring the Universal Championship as well...
You better start believing in us...

Tenay: And the Golden Generation just cost Roman and Seth this
match...
Ventura: And I think they aren't done, yet!
Roman went after Ziggler but gets brutally attacked by Owens and
Hunter, who are unloading a 3-on-1 assault on the Shield's
powerhouse... Only for Ambrose to run at them, evening the odds
slightly more. But as the numbers game was once again too much
to handle, Seth dived into the fray, bringing all six men down
for a moment.
Seth and Owens then started to brawl outside the ring... Only
for Owens to throw Seth right into the guardrail. Dean looks to
go help... But receives a Zig Zag for his troubles. Roman then
start to get the better hand of Hunter but Ziggler saves Hunter
by receving a Superman Punch that was intended for Hunter. Owens
then knocked him down with a nasty steel chair shot to the back.
Kevin and Hunter look at each other and Hunter then picks Roman
up in position for the Pedigree before hitting it to heavy boos
from the fans. Kevin then looks at Seth, who's getting up.
Rollins runs at them but Owens catches him in mid-air and hits a
Pop-Up Powerbomb. All three Golden Generation members stand over
the downed bodies of Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns before mocking
them with their "Fist in front" taunt.
date=1435861077]Owens and Hunter are walking around backstage.
Hunter: That was a great job last Collision... For all their
time here, the Shield was never man-handled the way we did it
back then... They have had quite the easy road until meeting
us... That's about to change

Owens: These guys have had it too good for too long. We can't
just stop doing what we did this week. We need to keep
attacking. They need to know that we're the ones in control of
this. Times have changed and there time is up.
Hunter: This ain't won, yet.. But we are in control, now...
???: Who says you're in control?
Hunter and Owens recognize the voice but search around but can't
find where's it coming from.
???: Here, you dumbasses!
Hunter and Kevin finally see the Shield in a TV screen up above
them.
Ambrose: So you are in control, now... Guess what... Beating us
down doesn't mean that you can keep us down forever, boys...
Reigns: We'll give you the fact that you indeed beat us down
last Collision. That was impressive...
Rollins: But your illusion of control is about to go down just
like a castle made of playing cards... Kevin, you want me one on
one this Collision... If Coach wants it to happen, man, I will
gladly remind you of another reason why I was chosen to go to
HCW before you did, Kevin...
Because I am better...
Ambrose: And you better stop believing your pitiful nonsense...
Rollins: Because you'll end up believing in only one thing,

(Before Rollins continues, Owens cuts him off)
Owens: Just shut up! I'm tired of your stupid catch phrase. I'm
tired of your stupid fist gestures. I'm tired of it all. By the
way, great job on hacking into the TV screen. I can't wait to
tell the police of your illegal actions around here. It must be
great for the Hounds of Justice to be committing crimes like
this.
Look...all that aside....you guys are the most annoying pieces
of sh*t I've had to deal with in a while. This is the truth
because I've been friends with Sami Zayn. Yet, all of you guys
think you are so cool because you come out from the crowd. You
have the bomb squad attire. You like to hack the arena for some
weird reason. It's all fun and games. Yeah, you guys can fight.
You can fight real well. It doesn't matter though. These little
mind games or whatever you like to call what you're doing are
silly and stupid. See, while you think you're in control because
of this, you're not.
We're already 5 steps ahead of you. Also, for you Seth, you're
not better. I'm going to do every one a favor and get rid of you
and your stupid haircut. What look are you even going for with
that? Whatever, you're attempt at being so mysterious and clever
isn't working. We're going to win this war. Believe that!

[quote author=pat2007 link=topic=6.msg8802#msg8802
date=1437925239]
HHH: The Golden Generation will address Ground Zero but I wanna
take some time to talk about the Shield...
You see, Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins... Of the
three, Rollins came out first as a singles wrestler with some
success, being a former International Champion... But ever since
you've formed the Shield, not many people have been able to stop
you. Un-Americans, Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan, Ministry of
Darkness... Hell, even Rock and Cena, as great as they have
been, couldn't stop you...
But how does it feel when it finally sinks in that there is a
group that can now stop you? Doesn't feel too great, right?
See, your sense of invincibility has started to show some cracks
ever since me and Kevin have won the right to face you at Ground
Zero... And unlike the last team who faced you... We are
superior... Kevin is like a son to me. I love the way he
conducts himself and his aggressiveness inside the ring. And he
loves picking my mind and learning things on the fly.
As much of a brotherhood you three have been getting ever since
you've stepped inside an HCW ring... It's bound to explode...
And it's bound to explode at the expense of the Golden
Generation, who will leave Ground Zero with the Synergy and
International Titles.
Believe... Believe that we are heading towards the Golden
Generation.
[quote author=Black Widow link=topic=6.msg8803#msg8803
date=1438001871]Roman smirks at Seth's comments.
Roman: Well that's easy, my brother. When you anger a Hound, you
get the bite. And these dogs aren't leashed or tied up, no no,
they're ready to pounce. Your little group of merry men have
become a thorn in our sides in recent weeks and at Ground Zero,
it's over. Your time in the spotlight is up. The greatest thing
the Golden Generation will ever accomplish in this company is
trying to make a name off of the Shield at Ground Zero, and in
the history books, you will be on the losing side.
Get ready Owens and Hunter. At Ground Zero, Rollins and I will
not be playing around. We will hit you hard. And we will hit you
often. You can belee dat.
We then see action from all four guys before we see a brawl
between them. Video ends with the Shield and the Golden
Generation doing the same fist-showing pose.
Grisham: Quite the battle it promises to be. I'll start with
Mick on this one... What do you think about the Shield so far
since they've come to HCW and your thoughts on Rollins and
Reigns as Synergy Tag Team champions?
Foley: The Shield has been dominant. They have very few losses
thus far. Rollins and Reigns have so far done what they said
they would They have repeatedly defended their titles. I don't
completely approve of how they handle things, but as a team they
have been good for HCW.
Grisham: Dolph, you know Hunter and Owens well recently... How
do you think they approach this big title match?
Ziggler: DZ: Many people think that we, The Golden Generation do
not think much of our opponents. In The Shield's case, it's hard
not to ignore how dominant they've been...however, what's more
hard to ignore is how rattled we, especially Kevin and Hunter
have The Shield. Their anger, their animosity against us is
something they've never experienced in a tag title match before.
Nearly everyone that fights us dislikes us, so Triple H and
Owens will use the situation that I've just described to win.
Grisham: Steve, what are your thoughts on this particular
matchup?
Corino: Rollins and Reigns have been dominating the tag team
division for a lengthy amount of time now, but the recent
formation of the Golden Generation has changed the face of
Collision and, as we saw, Hunter and Owens stood tall, so
they're definitely coming into the match with the advantage.
Grisham: Time for picks, guys! Starting with you, Steve.
Corino: I'm going to have to go with Hunter and Owens here, I
think that they're just on so much of a roll and I don't think
it's going to stop here, but I guarantee it's going to be a
close one.
Grisham: Let me presume, Dolph, that you will be picking for the
Golden Generation to win... Then, tell me why do you see them
winning?
Ziggler: I feel like I've already answered this question...do we
have two earless panellists? Rollins and Reigns are two stupid
haired, pissed off dudes that will go a hundred miles an hour
trying to crush our more durable guys. After 20 minutes there'll
tire themselves out...then one Pop Up Powerbomb...one
Pedigree...bye bye Shield.
Grisham: Mick, who do you see leaving Ground Zero with the
Synergy Tag Team Titles?
Foley: It’s hard to tell. It could be anyone's game. However,
you can not count on Hunter to play fair. I suspect there will
not be a tag title change tonight by reason of a technicality.
But if it’s a rare night that my old pal Hunter actually
behaves, then it will be close. Maybe even a draw.
Grisham: Intriguing pick, Mick. Renee Young is actually with
some guests at the moment. To you, Renee!

Young: Indeed, my guests at this time… The Golden Generation!
The Golden Generation, minus Ziggler obviously, makes their way
to meet Renee.
Young: I’ll start with Kevin and Hunter. You two are hours away
from your Synergy Tag Team Title match. A lot has been said
between you and the Shield these last few weeks. What can we
expect out there?
HHH: It’ll be a war. I’ve been praising the Shield ever since
they came to the company… But they hold something me and Kevin
want badly and sometimes, you gotta throw all that praise
through the window. Roman and Seth have never faced a more
dangerous team than me and Kevin. They’ve faced strong teams,
ladies, hall-of-famers… But they will face the smartest team
they’ve ever encountered and I don’t like their chances.
Owens: As for what happened on the last Collision? Meant
nothing… We’ve made our point… They made theirs… Tonight, me and
Hunter will not only win the Synergy Tag Team Titles… But we’re
going to hurt the Hounds of Justice physically and mentally.
We’re going to break them and they won’t see it coming.
Young: Cody, you will face Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan for the
International Title later on. Your thoughts on the match now
that it is now billed as an Elimination match?
Rhodes: Doesn’t matter to me. Only means I will beat both of
them instead of just pinning or submitting one. I can’t wait to
shut this crowd’s mouths when I will leave the arena with the
International Title. Especially at the expense of that parasite
champion and mostly at the expense of the man who cost me MY
Universal Championship.
I’m going to make my point. I’m going to show why I’m the best
wrestler in the world and why the Golden Generation is the only
way to go!
Group all leave together.
Young: Back to you, guys.
Grisham: Thanks, Renee…
Ziggler: I am so glad to be a part of that group.
Grisham: Understandable to your point… Anyway, we’ll go to our
second preview of the night. It’s a match that was only
announced a couple of weeks ago but this match, which probably
was seen at first as an opportunity for both men to move up the
ladder ranks here has become a little more personal after the
events of the last Fusion.
We see the footage of Fusion two weeks ago and the Battle Royal
who was won by Shamrock but it focuses on Jacobs getting
eliminated by Prince Devitt.
Grisham: Angle then gave Jacobs the match against him at Ground
Zero and this is what happened last week.
[quote author=pat2007 link=topic=6.msg8791#msg8791
date=1437713978]
Tenay: People... Wait a minute! S.C.U.M has just came outside
and they are lurking at Scarlett, right now!
Ventura: But there's no sighting of Jacobs, though.
Corino: I truly think they are trying to scare her...
Tenay: And look at Devitt diving right on them! That is what
you...
Ventura: Jacobs just came running behind Devitt and threw him
face-first into the ring post!
Tenay: The bastard! He planned it all along!
Corino: You would be surprised at the smarts Jimmy Jacobs can
deliver inside these ropes...
Jimmy has a crazy look in his eyes as he first stares at
Devitt... Before turning his focus at Scarlett, who's starting
to get very scared all of a sudden. Jimmy simply smiles before
lifting Prince's head, who has been busted open.
Jacobs: This... This is what happens when you get in my way,
sweetheart...
He then drops Devitt's head before blowing a fake kiss to
Scarlett and regrouping the entire S.C.U.M. group and leaving
backstage. That allows a medical guy and Scarlett to tend to the
downed Devitt.
date=1437715314]Saxton: Speaking of losses, your opponent at
Ground Zero, Prince Devitt, picked up the win aga-
Jacobs: Did you see what happened after his match? Tonight, I
won. Prince Devitt will be walking into Ground Zero as the
underdog. In fact, every single match I have, my opponent is the
underdog. Tonight, I left that son of a **** lying in the middle
of that ring, all alone. And guess what? At Ground Zero, history
will repeat itself.
[quote author=Black Widow link=topic=6.msg8803#msg8803
date=1438001871]Scarlett is tentatively tending to Prince
Devitt's battle scars after being viciously assaulted by Jimmy
Jacobs. Scarlett looks around nervously as Devitt unwraps the
wrist tape on his arms.
Scarlett: I'm not sure you should do this, Dev. They're crazy!
They're absolutely out of their minds! Not only am I scared what
they could do to me, I'm scared what they'll do to you!
Devitt shakes his head quickly.
Devitt: It's alright, Scarlett. I'll make sure nothing happens
to you. Jimmy Jacobs wants to say I'm the underdog going into
this fight? He is sadly mistaken. I've taken the best this
company has to offer to their limits and haven't even reached
the height of my career so far in HCW. It doesn't matter how
many Scumbags he wants to bring because I'll take them all on.
Devitt slices a thumb across his throat.
Devitt: At first this was just a high-profile singles match at a
pay-per-view, but after Fusion, he's made it personal. Jacobs
walks around with his head high so I will take a great pleasure
in not only taking him down a peg, but taking him off.
Completely.
Grisham: That leads us to tonight. Steve, is there a way to
decipher Jacobs's intentions going into this match?
Corino: Jacobs' intentions seem fairly clear from what I've
seen, and it's retribution. Devitt pinned Jacobs during the Pot
of Gold qualifier a few weeks ago, and Jacobs has had his eyes
on Devitt ever since.
Grisham: Mick, how should Devitt approach this match?
Foley: Devitt should not change a thing about he approaches this
match from any other. Devitt has held his own more than a few
times against the Mastodon. And Jacobs is no Vader that is for
sure.
Grisham: Dolph, do you think there will be plenty of outside
involvement in this match?
Ziggler: Obviously. You've got Butcher, Delirious and Lee ready
made, but on the other hand the lovely Ms Bordeaux is a cruel
mistress...she's not scared of the men, and I don't think even
Jacobs would stoop so low to attack a woman.
Grisham: Who do you have, Dolph?
Ziggler: Jacobs. I think I would say that even if it had no
danger of interference. Jacobs for me.
Grisham: Mick?
Mick: Admittedly, I have been watching this one from afar, but I
think Devitt has this one. Jacobs has too much overconfidence in
his abilities and we all know that leads to mistakes. Devitt has
been on fire lately so he is my prediction here.
Grisham: And Steve?
Steve: Definitely going with Jacobs on this one. S.C.U.M. are on
a roll, picking up some solid wins as a team, and more than
often coming out on top. Jacobs, as we saw on Fusion, is an
opportunist, and he won't let himself take this loss.
Grisham: Good. We are about to get the action underway. So we’ll
go to the commentary booth where our guys are here. Mike, take
it away, sir!
Tenay: Hello everyone, I have Jesse Ventura only with me for the
Pre-Show as Steve will join us after the Pre-Show is done.
Ventura: I have to handle you all alone for the next few
minutes… I would prefer to be at the beach, you know…
Tenay: What’s the obsession with the beach, Jesse? Anyway, we’ll
kick off the action with a tag match Coach just announced a
couple of days ago.
Tag Team Match
Sin Cara/Drake Younger vs Ryback/Batista
Sin Cara and Drake got good reactions on their way to the ring
while Ryback and Batista got heavy boos. The announcers reminded
that Taker and Kofi, two other Ministry members, will be in
action later on, Kofi to defend his CDM title and Taker is in
the Ground Zero main event. Younger and Ryback started the
match.
For most of the match, the Ministry big men took control of
their smaller opponents, who showed plenty of resiliency
throughout the match. Sin Cara was finally able to make the hot
tag to Younger, who took control of the match with his energy
and innovative offense took control. He caught Batista with a
nasty Spinebuster, showing his surprising strength but Ryback
broke the count.
Cara then got involved and dove on Ryback, eliminating both in
the process. Batista took control and then tried to finish it
with the Batista Bomb but Drake slithered out of trouble before
catching Batista with the Drake's Landing for the win!
Winners: Sin Cara and Drake Younger at 18:52
Match Rating:***1/2
Tenay: Good win for the former Ministry member and the former
CDM Champion…
Ventura: That was okay at best. Hoping this won’t be the trend
for the entire night…
Tenay: Look at you, Jesse! You should be praising the action…
Ventura: I’ll praise the action when we’ll be on the main show.
This is just an appetizer to me.
Tenay: Anyway, we’ll be back later. But now, time to go back to
the skybox!

Grisham: Thanks, guys! We now are going to preview a match that
has a lot of HCW fans buzzing all around the world ever since it
was announced. Daniel Bryan is going to defend his International
title against Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton in a Triple Threat
match that has been now billed as an Elimination match. Let’s
just say that this match has had fans drooling all over the
world…
We start with a video package of how Daniel Bryan became the
champion and his rise as a major fan-favourite since then. An
ultimate underdog with a lot of wrestling acumen and a
never-say-die attitude.
We then turn to the Viper. A bonafide Hall-of-Famer with so many
title reigns in HCW that we stop counting them. A cunning
attitude and that out-of-nowhere finisher that has put plenty of
men down before.
We finally come to Cody Rhodes. The former Universal Champion
for twenty-two of the last twenty-four months and the man many
consider to be the best wrestler on the planet. His legendary
tenacity added to a newfound aggressiveness has gotten him to
where he is…
We then see the footage of how Cody lost his Universal Title at
Survive If I Let You, including that RKO from Orton.

We went to the ring with the first notes of Smoke and Mirrors as
the former Universal Champion made his way to the ramp...
Rhodes: Cut the music! Cut the music!
Heavy boos from the Sioux City's fans.
Rhodes: I'm in a foul mood tonight so I need to get some stuff
out of my chest before we move forward...
I should be carrying the Universal Championship belt around my
waist at this moment. Taz proved absolutely nothing because the
one man that cost me my title is Randy Orton!
Big pop for Orton, which angers Cody.
Rhodes: Yeah, yeah, cheer him all you want. That shows simply
how weak you are to idolize a guy like Randy, who's a complete
nutcase and is simply jealous that I've been better than him the
last two ****ing years!
Boos are heavy right now.
Rhodes: He's going to say that it was payback for what I did
earlier that night... But let me be perfectly clear... I didn't
cost his match when I attacked him. I was kind to do it after
the match and it was simply to send a message to Taz going in to
the main event...
But once again, Randy loses his mind and he costs me MY
Universal Championship! And you think I was going to do nothing
about it, man. Dead wrong, as you saw last week...
You see, the loss of my Universal Championship was bad... But it
dawned on me that it's simply a bump in the road and that it
gives me a thousand more reasons for the Golden Generation to
exist. You need us as your role models and those who will be in
our way are going to be demolished, just like the Shield and
Randy were last week...
We then see the footage of Cody attacking Randy after his match
the week before, hitting a Cross Rhodes right into the steps.

Boos are getting heavier... Although it's difficult to see how
they can be bigger...
Rhodes: And I'm just getting started... Because after I'm done
with Randy tonight... Daniel Bryan... You say you are on a
crusade to improve the prestige of the International
Championship!? You see, I've held that title before, twice... I
had one of the best series of matches this company has ever seen
with my mentor HBK over that title...
And the sight of you holding this title makes me sick. I've
played around with you before Survive if I Let You but this
time, I'm going to take that title away from you and with me,
it'll regain the prestige it should have had all
along...
We then see a major brawl between Cody and Orton spill out to
the outside, leading to the announcement of the triple threat.
[quote author=pat2007 link=topic=6.msg8800#msg8800
date=1437854365]
Bryan: I see there is a change in the International Title
Match... It's indeed good news for me but actually, it's greater
news for the fans because whoever will win this match and holds
this belt at the end of that match will have earned it.
Cody Rhodes is right now, to many people's opinion, the best
wrestler on this planet. Holding the Universal Championship for
twenty-two of the last twenty-four weeks makes his case, I
agree. But Cody, ever since losing this title... He's grown even
more aggressive and he thinks holding the International Title
will improve the prestige of that belt... But I think he has
other reasons that I can't get a grasp of...
As for Randy Orton... His name is synonymous of success around
here... A bonafide Hall-of-Famer with a record-holding seven
International Title reigns. Like Cody, he's been saying that the
prestige of the belt will improve by his hands but unlike Cody,
his intentions are pretty clear.
I will be inside this ring with two dangerous men... But do they
think I'm nothing? Do they believe that I'm just a placeholder
for either of them to take this title from? Didn't they see me
gain this title at Birth of Destruction VII against my best
friend and my biggest rival? Didn't they see me defend it in a
war against that same friend? Do they see me show up every
single night and throw everything I have inside that ring?
If they don't... I know the Yes! Movement sees it... I know that
I won't be the crowd-favourite at Ground Zero... That will be
Randy Orton... I know that I also won't be the betting favourite
out there... That will be Cody Rhodes... But if they
underestimate me... They'll be in for a rough surprise.
I'm not leaving this arena until I either keep this belt or
almost die trying and I know that at the end of the night... I
will have earned your respect...
YES! YES! YES!
We then see footage of last week’s tag team match, which saw
Cody being pinned by Bryan, Randy catching the champ with an RKO
but Rhodes having the last laugh with the Cross Rhodes.
[quote author=chris_K link=topic=6.msg8793#msg8793
date=1437727128]
I hope you enjoyed your cheap shot Cody, Ziggler won't be able
to bail you out at Ground Zero and there is nothing you or Bryan
can do to stop me from becoming a record 8 time International
Champion in my hometown of St. Louis, Missouri!
We end the package with Cody standing above both men and with
the International Championship.
Grisham: Dolph, you see Cody a little more than the rest of us
these days... How does he feel going into this match?
Ziggler: DZ: I'm not Cody Rhodes' PA, Grisham. It's not up to me
to declare how Cody Rhodes feels. He's fine though, thanks for
asking. We had a good few beers last night, laughing at how
Bryan and Orton think they’re competition for any member of the
group...let alone Cody, and also had a good laugh at the fun I
would have sitting at the same desk as the man who was conquered
by the conqueror...Indicates Foley without looking at
him. Cody doesn't want to waste his time telling regular
people how he feels. He's going to come in here, eliminate
Bryan, eliminate Orton and leave again with a title around his
waist. Simple.
Grisham: Steve, Daniel Bryan has proved to be a formidable
champion ever since he won the title at Birth of Destruction
VII...
Foley: At your expense, Dolph, may I believe?
Ziggler: Hahahaha… Pretty funny, old bastard...
Grisham: Back to the point, Steve, how must Daniel Bryan
approach this title match?
Corino: Bryan is, yes, a formidable champion, winning the title
in the first place was an achievement within itself, but now, he
is both Orton and Cody to take care of. He has to go through two
men tonight, and with the Golden Generation around, he'll have
to keep his eyes out.
Grisham: Mick, you've known Randy for a very very very long
time... You even feuded with the man in the 2009 Feud of the
Year, may I add... He's in his hometown, tonight... How must he
feel going into this matchup?
Foley: Orton has to be feeling pumped. Nothing makes you feel
like it’s your match then having it front of your friends and
family.
Grisham: Your pick, Mick?
Foley: I am predicting Orton on this one. Cody is phenomenal all
right, but since he joined the Golden Generation he seems to
have lost a step or two. He performs better alone than with a
team. Cody has proven that since he got out of Team 3-G. Though
I hope Golden Generation keeps their noses out of this match. I
am calling for Orton at this point. He is hungry and dominant.
Frankly it’s just been too long since he last held gold.
Grisham: Steve?
Corino: I'm going to pick Orton here, I think he's the outsider
here, and I think he'll grab that opportunity and pick up the
win and the International title. And he’s in his hometown, which
usually means he goes the extra mile for his fans.
Grisham: And finally, Dolph... Any chances of you not saying
Cody Rhodes here?
Ziggler: Nope. No further comment.
Grisham: We’ll be back after a short break! Stick around!
Grisham: We’re back and I’ve heard that Renee has another guest
with him. Let’s go to you, Renee!
Young: Ladies and gentlemen, my guest at this time... The
People's Champion, The Rock.
Massive pop at the sight of the Rock, who raises the People's
Eyebrow.
Young: Rock, we're hours away from what will be a dangerous
match... First things first, with all the things that were said
and done between you and Bret, do you see this match as the end
of your issues with him?
Rock: Renee, I would like to say that it would be the end. That
after I beat Bret for the Global Championship he will move onto
other things. Not sure Bret is capable of that though.
Young: Rock, we know you'll be fighting for your millions of
fans out there... But tonight, do you actually fight for your
former teammates in NWO?
Rock: It's true that nWo needs closure in all of this and that
is what they will get through me. But the bottom line is I will
do my best and give my 200% out there... Win, lose or draw.
But The Rock guarantees it will be a win!
Young: Normally, you're trying to electrify the fans every time
you step inside this ring. But against a dangerous opponent that
knows you inside out and inside a very dangerous structure, what
will be your gameplan?
Rock: I don't think I need to change anything about my game
plan. Bret will be locked into a steel Cell with the most
electrifying man in all of entertainment. While I will need to
play it smart and watch for the little things, Bret is the one
that needs to be worried about me.
Young: One last question... Hell in a Cell is a structure that
can end or alter careers. Is there any fear entering that
menacing structure?
Rock: I know you and a lot of other people look at me and only
see fun and games but when the cell doors close, the game is
over. The Rock will be all business. Is the Rock afraid of what
can happen in there? If that was the case I would not have
signed the contract for the match. The Rock has no fear of
anything. I know exactly what I have gotten myself into. All
that's left is one question, DO YOU SMELLLL... WHAT THE ROCK..
IS COOKIN'.......!?
Young: Thanks, Rock. Back to you, guys!

Grisham: The Brahma Bull is pumped up, guys!
Foley: That’s the passion I always loved to see from him.
Grisham: Anyway, we go to our next preview. A match that Coach
booked a week ago for the CDM Championship. Kofi Kingston will
defend his title against the upstart Sami Zayn in a match we
haven’t seen in quite some time, the Ultimate X Match. The
only way to win is to climb that structure and get to the title
belt before unlocking it. A ladder match but without ladders and
some crazy spots to be sure of happening.
Let’s see first how Kofi got his title belt.
We see footage of the Extreme Elimination Chamber, which saw
Kofi end up outlasting his two teammates of the Ministry, Taker
and Ryback.
Grisham: That is his third reign with the CDM Championship and
after Sami Zayn ended up being the runner-up to Jeff Hardy in
the Battle Royal to determine who would get the final Collision
Pot of Gold spot, Coach gave him the chance to face Kofi at
Ground Zero but last Collision, these two went at it in a
non-title match.
We see the footage of their match last week, in which Zayn
pinned the champion.
Grisham: And here were the comments from Kofi after the match!
[quote author=JamesPerfitt link=topic=6.msg8801#msg8801
date=1437916214]
Kofi : You may have won our last match Zayn but let me tell you
this, Ultimate X is something different. You don't stand a
chance. This championship is mine, you will never get your hands
on it. The only time you will get close is when i rub it in your
face at the end of our fight.
Grisham: Mick, it is well known that you in fact won an Ultimate
X match before...
Ziggler: Must have been because I wasn't in the match...
Grisham: I want to know what should these two men expect from
this match made by Collision's GM, the Coach?
Foley: The Ultimate X match has been one of my favorites since
Brock brought it to us. Its a match that is fought in the air as
much as on the ground, Kofi and Zayn are two of the best
competitors we have and they will be equal to it.
Grisham: Dolph, you faced Kofi several times in your career...
What makes him a dangerous competitor?
Ziggler: Kingston is good. To be honest, he'd be welcomed in our
group if it was solely up to me. Two words why he's so
dangerous: Controlled Frenzy. He goes wild, but he knows what
he's doing.
Grisham: Steve, Sami Zayn has been clamoring to get an
opportunity to shine for weeks and he now has that opportunity.
How can he win this match?
Corino: To win the match, Todd, he'll have to grab that title
hanging above the ring, but this isn't no ladder match, that X
above the ring looks very, very difficult to climb. Sami will
have to pull off some big moves and keep Kofi down.
Grisham: But do you see him win, Steve?
Corino: I'm torn, but I think Kofi will pick up the win here, I
think he's taken that loss to Sami at the last Collision,
reflected, and is in the perfect mindset to retain his title.
Grisham: And you, Dolph?
Ziggler: A Kingston retain tonight.
Grisham: Mr. Foley, who you have in this one?
Foley: This is another one of those that is very hard to decide.
As a two-time former CDM Champ, I can tell you first hand the
lengths you need to go to for this belt. Kofi will give his all,
but in the end, I think Zayn will have the extra bit of **** to
take this belt home.
Grisham: We’ll be back with our next touring schedule
after a short break!
Grisham: We’re with some exciting news for our fans…
The maps of the USA and Europe are now shown and there's ten
pinpoints on the map, three in the U.S.A. and the rest all over
Europe.
Grisham: After tonight, we'll stay in the state of Missouri for
the first set of shows post-Ground Zero. Collision will be at
the Kemper Arena, in Kansas City while the people of Fusion will
go to the same city, but at the Sprint Center.
Then, HCW will…
Foley: Before you continue, I would like to make a major
announcement of my own… It’s time to shake things up
again, Todd! We will have the 2015 HCW Draft happen right after
this set of shows you’ve just announced.
Grisham: Wow! Major news here! Do we know which place
it’ll be held?
Foley: At the iconic Freedom Hall in Kentucky, Todd!
Grisham: Excellent… That is why you must watch the
Pre-Show, folks! So after the draft, the HCW crew will make a
major trip all over Europe for the rest of the schedule.
We’ll first visit the beautiful country that is Italy as
Collision will be at Milan to the Mediolanum Arena and Fusion to
the PalaLottomatica in Rome..
Then, we'll move to Germany as both brands will go to the same
arena… name, that is. Both will go to the O2 World but
Collision will go to the Berlin one while Fusion will go to the
Hamburg one.
After that, the next cycle will see both brands going to Spain,
as Collision will go to Madrid at the Palacio Vistalegre while
Fusion will go to Barcelona, at the Palau Sant Jordi.
Our next PPV, who will be decided by the winner of Pot of Gold,
as usual, will be held in The MEO Arena in Lisbon, Portugal
where almost 20000 people can attend the event.
It promises to be quite the tour. Tickets will be starting to be
sold as soon as Ground Zero will be off the air. Get ready for
some exciting action! We’ll be back with our next preview!

Grisham: This upcoming match maybe will have the biggest
implications in HCW’s management… Hulk Hogan and Shane Douglas
put their jobs on the line as they will finally settle months of
issues inside a Steel Cage. Let’s see how this situation has
gotten to tonight…
We start the video package with the ending the of the Colleseum
IronMan match for the Universal Title between Shane and Cody.
Match in which Shane lost by one fall but was so close to tie
it…
We then see the accusations Shane has thrown at Hogan and
Hogan’s responses, with S.C.U.M.’s involvement as well.

The Albany’s crowd gives a respectful pop to the voice of the
Board of Directors, who comes to the ring with a spring in his
steps. He quickly asks for a microphone while Hogan’s face shows
the history between both men. None too pleased about his
arrival.
[...]
Piper: We have found several evidences that tells us that you…
indeed paid a backstage crew guy to fasten the countdown during
the Iron Man Universal Title Match!
Wow! The Albany’s crowd is shocked! Hulk Hogan’s face is in a
complete state of shock! Piper is rubbing his forehead as Hogan
starts moving forward.
Hogan: What the hell are you talking about, dude? This is a
joke, right?
Piper: I would love for me to suddenly turn around and have it
be a joke… But it ain’t the case, Hulk… The guy told us of your
scheme… Hell, we’ve found a new video. Roll the footage!
A video starts rolling on the TitanTron. We see Hogan
approaching a backstage crew member. He has an envelope in hand.
He gives it to the guy.
Hogan: Remember, if it’s needed, do what I told you to do, dude.
Understood?
Backstage Guy: Understood, boss…
Screen fades to black. Hogan is furious!
Hogan: What the hell does it prove, dammit? Piper! The envelope
had a birthday card in it, as it was the guy’s birthday…
Piper: Tell me, did you indeed pay him to have him fasten the
countdown?
Hogan: No, I didn’t…
Piper: Tell me the truth, Hulk!
Hogan: I said No, I didn’t…
Piper: Tell me the truth, Hulk…
Hogan: I said NO, DAMMIT!
Piper: Is this the truth?
Hogan: You’ve lost your mind, Piper… I knew all ****ing along it
would be the case…
Silence for a moment. Hogan is suddenly in deep thoughts.
Piper: You better not be lying to me, Hulk… You know the
consequences…
Hogan: ALRIGHT!!! I DID PAY THAT ****ER TO FASTEN THE
COUNTDOWN!!! ARE YOU ****ING HAPPY, NOW?
Crowd, who was booing Piper… Is right back into a state of
shock… And now, Shane’s fans in attendance starts booing and
jeering Hogan hard. Piper rubs his forehead again, wondering
what to say next…
Piper: Then, why did you do it, Hulk?
Hogan: I ****ing did it because I had to be 100% sure that Shane
Douglas wouldn’t regain the Universal Championship!
Heavy boos thrown at Hogan now…
Hogan: Shane Douglas would have been a disgrace as the champion…
He rarely talks…. He only throws one-liners… He is not what our
business needed as a champion…
Piper: Was Cody all along in your plan?
Hogan: No… This was only known by me and the dude… I would have
prefered for Cody to defeat him convincingly but somehow, Shane
always gave him trouble… It had to be done…
Piper: Do you understand what you’re saying, Hulk? GM are not
allowed to get involved in matches… Especially not screwing a
****ing main-event of our second biggest PPV of the year, Hulk!
Hogan: Look…
Piper: There ain’t a look, Hulk… You think I can trust you
moving forward? You think the Board can trust you moving
forward? Hell, you think your good friend Mick can trust you now
after what you’ve just done?
Mick got fired as GM because he let his emotions and hatred for
Ziggler get in the way of doing business… What makes you think
you will get away with doing the same kind of thing to Shane?
You are giving me no other choice, Hulk…

The Albany’s crowd pops big for Douglas, who comes to the ring
pretty quickly, mic in hand.
Douglas: Look… I’m having a blast watching Pukester getting
berated by you, Piper… And I’m sorry to interrupt you…
Piper: Better be sorry, Shane. You know what I’m about to do…
Douglas: I know, I know… I know you’re about to fire his ass and
while I would be happy about that… I would be far more happier
if I would kick his ass right now!
Hogan is looking down as the crowd pops for that idea. Piper is
shaking his head.
Piper: You ain’t kicking his ass tonight, Shane.
Douglas: Then give me his ass at Ground Zero as a gift for being
screwed of the Universal Title! You owe me… No, you owe them
letting me kick his ass at Ground Zero. I don’t care if you fire
him right now or at Ground Zero but I want him to suffer for
doing what he did to me…
And don’t get me started as to not allowing GM to wrestle… You
did have him face me back when I returned to HCW… Don’t you
remember, old man?
Piper is in deep thoughts. He wasn’t expecting Shane to show up
like he did… While he had a plan initially… He’s known to react
well on the fly…
Piper: Yes, I was about to fire him, Shane… And I still plan on
doing that… But I do admit that you will be annoying me for
weeks, months and years to kick his ass and I don’t want that to
happen…
Here’s what I’m going to do, then…
As of this moment, Hulk, you’re suspended! Suspended up until
the end of the Ground Zero PPV… In which, Shane, I will give you
the opportunity to face Hogan!
Shane is happy, now. Hogan is still looking down…
Piper: And to make the stakes big… If you beat Hogan, you get to
fire him for me!
Crowd pops as Shane is licking his chops.
Piper: But if somehow he beats you… I’m going to fire somebody…
But it won’t be Hulk… It’ll be you, Shane!
Heavy boos thrown at Piper as Shane stares a hole at Piper.
Piper: That is your punishment for interrupting me tonight… And
I thought that since you wanted to get your hands on him so bad,
I would make it so you better do anything not to lose…
And since I know that several guys have been involved lately in
your matches, Shane… I’ll try to limit it by having your match
be held inside a good old Steel Cage!
Crowd pops for that announcement.
Piper: An interim GM will be announced before the next Fusion
card will be announced. And I will leave it to your good friend
Mick to make that call. Hulk, Shane, shake your hand so that we
can make it official.
Shane extends begrudgingly his hand. Hogan is having words with
Piper. He’s trying to get out of this match… But he then looks
to low blow Shane… But Douglas caught the leg, to Hogan’s shock!
Shane has a wide smile on his face and before Piper can break
things up, Douglas catches Hogan with the Belly-to-Belly Suplex
to tremendous roars from the crowd. Piper is shaking his head as
Shane picks Hogan’s right hand and shakes it before giving him
the middle finger. He then leaves the ring, leaving Piper to
survey the situation and Hogan to look up to the lights.
Tenay: Wow! What a turn of events we’ve just gotten… Hulk Hogan
will have to gain his job back by defeating the man he screwed
over inside a Steel Cage… And if Shane Douglas loses this match,
he’s the one getting fired…
What a big moment for these two men… We’ll be back for the next
Collision as we’ll get news on the condition of JBL and Michael
Cole soon. I’m Mike Tenay and this concludes an outstanding
Fusion. Good night, everyone.
Show ends with Hogan trying to recover inside the ring as Piper
is seen on the ramp, thinking about plenty of stuff.
As Hogan makes his way through the curtain in an almost zombie
like slow walk, he stops short as he finds Rock and Burke, the
last remnants of his nWo boys, waiting for him. Both looking
less then happy. Hogan tries to waive them off and continue on
as they are last people he wants to see right now, but Rock
stops him.
Burke: The Pope would never have expected it from you Hulkster.
Rock: When I first joined nWo I had reservations due to my past
with you, but I let them go. I thought you had changed. Turns
out, I was wrong, you are the same jabroni you have always been.
Hulk: Guys, don't start. Rock, get out of my way Brother, or I
will change my mind about the cell match. And I won't tell you
again about calling me jabroni.
Rock: You are suspended. Your GM authority is also suspended.
You disappoint me brother.
Burke: Til tonight we would always have your back, but if Shane
manages to get his hands on you...
Rock: Then you will get exactly what you deserve, jabroni!
The both shake their heads and walk away towards their
respective locker rooms as Hogan looks on looking even more
dejected than he already was.
Tenay: Understandable. Okay, so a change of pace...let's discuss
Shane Douglas. As has been discussed, you were accused by Shane
of...manipulating the clock during his Ironman match against
Cody Rhodes. We have heard from Foley and a variety of others on
this, but not you directly. What are you thoughts?
Hogan: Like I said to Piper last Fusion... I indeed did it... I
did it because it was the right thing to do, dude.
Shane as Universal Champion was not what's best for business...
His demeanor, his perception of what a champion is was nowhere
near what a real face of this company should have been. And I
was starting to fear that he would return to his Revolution
side, the one side he was working so hard to get out from…
[...]
Hogan: Brother, you've never been in the situation I am in... At
first, I wanted none of that match... I haven't wrestled in such
a long time... And my body's getting old...
But now, the more I see it... I have no choice... My job is on
the line, Mike.
MY JOB IS ON THE LINE!
Sorry... So now, I feel like the Board just gave me the best
thing I could ever had... I get the opportunity to right their
biggest wrong by beating and ending Shane Douglas... Inside a
Steel Cage.
So, I did beat him when he first returned... I never knew this
would come to that point, though. So, I am using the time off to
get myself back in the top shape Hulkamania has known me to
be...
But I ain't doing it for them, Mike. It's all about me keeping
my job... Brother!
Tenay: Well I am sure that you will give it your all, and yes, I
wish you the best. One final question...during Douglas' match
against Vader this past Fusion, we saw interference from Brodie
Lee costing him the match. Do you still have contact with
S.C.U.M. and Jacobs, and are you using them to make sure Douglas
is not at his best come Ground Zero?
Hogan: What's that question all about, Mike? Makes absolutely no
sense whatsoever...
Tenay: It has been seen in the past that you and Jacobs have had
a...working arrangement, and on several occasions, members of
S.C.U.M. have attacked Douglas, cost him matches, the whole lot.
Just last Fusion, it happened again, but this time, you're not
GM, you're not in control. Are you using S.C.U.M. to give you
the advantage against Douglas?
Hogan: Sincerely, that's the biggest load of crap I've ever
heard...
Wait a second, dude... I get it... You believe Shane's claims,
don't you?
Tenay: Hulk, I am only here to interview you, I do not write
these questions, I am provided them by the producers...
Hogan: Don't get me started on those bull**** claims... This is
exactly like Shane Douglas making the questions all of a
sudden... And that is exactly why Shane Douglas will see his
career end at Ground Zero from my own two hands... And there
will be no happier man after that night than Hulk... Hogan...
Tenay: Well...I wish you luck, Hulk. Thank you for this
interview.
Hogan doesn't respond as the screen fades to black.

Ventura: Talking about the Huckster... He did say a couple of
weeks back that Shane Douglas as Universal was not best for
business and that what he did at Colleseum was the right thing
to do. Normally, I would not believe a word that Huckster
says... What are your thoughts?
Douglas: He's an idiot. He's doing what he always does, which is
look out for himself. He doesn't want me to be the Universal
Champion because he can't control me, and if he can't control
me, me being champion doesn't help him.
Ventura: I agree that Huckster is an idiot and I said it many
many times in my career. But the thing is, Shane... He said your
demeanor when you became champion the first time wasn't worthy
of being the face of the company. Does he bull**** right here or
does he have a point?
Douglas: It's bull****. He knows it, and everyone who saw me
wrestle as champion knows it. His only problem with my title
reign is that my nose wasn't up his a$$.
Ventura: Why did you interrupt Piper when it looked he was about
to maybe fire Huckster? You could have let him do the job
instead of getting yourself...
Douglas: Tell me this... Would you rather have him fired, or
kick his a$$ and then have him fired?
Ventura: If I would have known that Option B could cost you your
career, I would have preferred option A, Shane...
Douglas: Are you saying that I can't beat the Orange Goblin?
Ventura: As much as I want you to beat him... History reminds
myself that when he brought you back to HCW, the Board forced
him to face you and I'm afraid that the results page said that
Hulk Hogan defeated Shane Douglas...
Douglas: Hulk Hogan defeated a Shane Douglas that was on his
side and held no ill will against him. That is no longer the
case.
Ventura: True. Also, Piper made it a steel cage match. And
Huckster will also fight for his job... Have you started to
believe about what would happen if the unthinkable happens and
he beats you again...
Douglas: No. Because he won't. When it comes down to it, there's
just one rule he had to follow... Don't f*ck with The Franchise.
Hogan f*cked with The Franchise. Now, no matter how he wants to
spin it, he's trapped inside that cage with me. In my
environment. Ask Hunter what happens when people lock themselves
in cages with me and put their careers on the line. Hogan should
probably start writing up his resume. He's going to need it.
Ventura: One last question because I don't have all night...
Give the HCW fans one good reason to order Ground Zero.
Douglas: They'll get to see Hulk Hogan beaten, bloody, and
begging for mercy... It'll also be the end of his career, so
everyone who watches can say they saw the last match of the
biggest piece of sh!t in professional wrestling's
history.
Tenay: Who's that man, over here? Is it another Invasion guy or
a guy Hogan brought to get involved with Shane...
Corino: It seems...
Ventura: He's entering the ring...
That hooded man finally lifts the hood...
Tenay: It's... It's HULK HOGAN!
Ventura: The bastard! I should have known!
Corino: And he's taking out his belt. That won't be nice.
Hogan looks at the still-downed Douglas.
Hogan: YOU THINK YOU CAN END MY CAREER HERE?!
He blasts a nasty belt shot right across the back of Douglas,
who's whriting in pain.
Hogan: YOU THINK YOU CAN THROW EVERYTHING I'VE BUILT AROUND HERE
DOWN?!
He blasts another nasty belt shot right across the back of
Douglas, who's trying his best not to scream in pain.
Hogan: I WILL END YOU!!!
He blasts not one, not two... but five consecutive shots to the
back of Douglas, who's screaming in pain. Hogan then throws the
belt away, runs the ropes and hits his trademark leg drop to the
back of Shane's head! The crowd heavily boos Hogan as he mocks
Shane before leaving.
Tenay: This is uncalled for, Hulk!
Ventura: Well, if you would have known the man like I do, it
wouldn't be such a shock.
Corino: Hogan sent a painful message to the man who will try to
end his HCW GM career at Ground Zero.
Tenay: I can't believe I'm saying it... But I hope Shane wins
this match, now. This is not the Hulk Hogan we're used to see.
Man... We'll be back in a moment.
The medical group looks at Shane, who's writhing in pain. We go
to a commercial break.
One place…
We see the steel cage getting lowered
It’ll be Ground Zero…
We end the package with Hogan and Shane staring at each other.
Grisham: Steve, this match is probably the most important either
man has had in their life... How does a man approach that kind
of career-threatening situation?
Corino: Todd, that's a question that only Hogan and Douglas
could answer themselves. This is not just a match, this is not
just a fight, this is a situation that could leave one of these
men without employment.
Grisham: Mick, I know this is a delicate situation for you...
You've known Hulk for years, now... But recently, this has been
a rough stretch for Hogan... Who do you think is that Hulk Hogan
we've seen for the last few months, going back to his incidents
with Kennedy?
Foley: I have known both Hulk and Shane for years. This will be
a match to watch, It may be a contender for match of the year. I
honestly wish I knew what was going on in Hulk’s head. When I
chose him as GM, I never thought he would do the things I have
seen him do. He has gone to lengths I never would.
Ziggler lets a little chuckle go as he hear Foley talk.
Grisham: Dolph, you faced Shane before... How do you think Shane
will approach this match?
Ziggler: I dread to think what is in that losers head. Shane
will probably be reading the Mr. Kennedy joke book, chapter six:
Hulk Hogan jokes, and laughing about them thinking it'll get him
somewhere.
Grisham: Who do you have, Dolph?
Ziggler: Shane flukes his way through most situations. His PPV
record is nearly as good as mine, yet it's clear he gets lucky.
There's only five people that would be able to make sure that
his luck runs out: Myself, Triple H, Kevin Owens and Cody
Rhodes. The fifth guy? Hulk Hogan. He'll win tonight.
Grisham: Do you see Hulk saving his job, Mick?
Foley: Honestly, Hogan will give it all and then some for his
career. Unfortunately. Shane has youth in his corner. That will
be the winning factor in this match. Shane just has more in the
tank. I feel for the Hulkster, but his time in HCW is just done.
Grisham: Steve, do we get the end of the Franchise tonight?
Corino: I honestly do, Todd. Hogan has shown such a different
side of himself in recent months and I think that, after
everything he's gone through, he's not going to let Douglas win.
He may not be the GM anymore, but he still has the power here.
Grisham: Actually, Renee has a certain guest with him. Let’s go
to you!
Young: Indeed, my guest at this time… Hulk Hogan.
As soon as he shows up, the chorus of boos gets heard and it is
loud.
Young: What’s the feeling hours away from the Steel Cage match?
Hogan: Nervous… When you have your job on the line, there has to
be some nerves clutching your stomach… But also, I am excited to
end Shane Douglas’s career, tonight. You don’t know how much I
want that bastard out, dude… I mean, lady.
Young: Shane said that you’ll be bloodied, beaten and begging
for mercy out there…
Hogan: Maybe he’ll be right… I mean, the guy is a trained
wrestler that has been competing for the last year or so every
single show while I only competes in rare occasions… But at the
same time, Shane will have to deal with a vicious side of me no
one has ever seen…
Young: Talking about that, what happened last Fusion…
Hogan: It will be nothing, Renee… I sent my message to Shane…
Tonight, I’m regaining my job and believe me… There won’t be any
man happy when it’ll happen… Except me, brother.
Young: Thanks, Hulk… One last thing, Foley just said that you
have gone to lengths he never would go to…
Hogan: He said that? See, I once loved Mick like a brother but I
can’t say the feeling feels mutual these days. Everyone in this
locker room looks at me like a pariah but after tonight… They’ll
see me in a far different light… And all these dudes can kiss my
ass!
Hogan leaves, visibly irritated.
Grisham: Wow! He sure took your words the wrong way, Mick.
Mick shakes his head in slight disbelief. Ziggler can’t stop
laughing

Grisham: I don't know how quite to explain this next preview;
hopefully the video will do it more justice than I can. Is this
friendly brotherly battle all what it seems? Or is there some
underlying truths to this story?
We start on an episode of Collision, four months ago.

Tag Team Match
Ministry (Dave Batista and Ryback) v The Steiner
Brothers
Four big meaty dudes collided in the ring in a bit of a
demolition derby, Meathooks, Steinerlines, Big Boots, Forearms
to the face and all sorts occurred. The ever popular Steiners
then incredibly did two dives between the second and top rope to
take out their opponents.
The finish came when Ryback and Scott Steiner were the legal
men. Ryback went for The Shell Shocked and Rick Steiner came in
but Ryback got Rick up for it aswell. He just couldn't carry it
for that long, and both men got down, and hit the Steinerizer.
Scott then went for the pin, but Batista came sprinting in and
ran down Steiner with a Clothesline. This sprang Scott all the
way over to Rick, who managed to tag himself in, mow down
Batista and pin Ryback for the three.
Winner: Steiner Brothers via a Steinerizer in 20:41
Match Rating: **1/4
The two brothers celebrate and Rick grabs a mic. Scott looks a
tad bewildered but goes along with it.
RS: Another win for The Steiner Brothers!
The crowd pop...
RS: And I thought I'd celebrate the win with a big announcement!
The crowd pop a little quieter...
RS: I have decided to retire from HCW...
Scott looks across at his brother with an even more bewildered
look than before...
RS: Scott...my brother...my friend. I don't expect a goodbye
gift...I've got a gift of my own to you.
Scott looks even more confused. Rick slides out of the ring and
goes under the ring and grabs a heavily wrapped present. He
comes back in with it and hands it over to Scott. Scott opens it
up and discovers the contents...his old lead pipe from back in
the day. Scott takes Rick's mic.
SS: What's this big brother?
RS: I've been holding you down Scott...you are the superior
Steiner. You came back on your own and won the Battle Royale...I
came back, I made you lose to various people and I know my
presence made you lose The Universal Title...
SS: That's bullsh!t Rick. We're the 17 time Tag Team
Champions...one Steiner without the other...doesn't make sense.
Don't go.
RS: My decision is made my brother...I'm sorry. That pipe right
there is a better brother than me.
SS: Are you sure?
RS: Never been more sure. I love you my brother.
The two embrace to the fans cheer...Rick raises his younger
brothers arm in the ring. Scott's music plays and the two admire
the pipe. Rick does a couple of fake shots with it to
merriment...but the world seems to stop spinning. Everything
seems to go silent. Why? Rick Steiner has just clocked his own
brother over the head with a lead pipe. His own brothers lead
pipe. He's not stopped at one...another two shots to the ribs
get added before Rick trash talks his brother, calling him
pathetic, before putting him on all fours and locking in a Pipe
Version of The Steiner Recliner to big bo0os. He has it on for
about thirty seconds before releasing it...the commentators
can't even think of anything to say as we go to a break.

TG: It's that time again...we will find out if Rick Steiner will
join The Undertaker and Drake Younger in the Extreme Elimination
Chamber for the CDM Title at No Safe Haven. All Steiner has to
do is topple Younger tonight to be in. Let's have a look-
Grisham has a shock when he tries to spin the wheel but is
stopped by a hand which turns out to be Rick Steiner. The crowd
respond with bad booing.
RS: All I have to do? All I have to do Grisham? Do you know how
hard it is to defeat a man like Drake Younger? Younger is a
tough competitor, no doubt. But he's beatable for a man of my
abilities. Now, before you ask I don't wish to address any
incidents that occurred with my so called brother last week.
TG: Ok, well let me spin the wheel for your-
RS: Woah woah Todd Grisham don't get a big power trip here. I'm
in charge now, not you. I will spin the wheel myself.
Rick does so...it is a relatively powerful spin and after around
twenty seconds it lands on...Inferno match.
RS: You know it's ironic, the run of form Drake is on you could
say he is on fire. Well at the end of the match he will
be...literally.
Rick Steiner leaves the wheel set.
We see Rick win his Inferno match.

We are back in HCW's headquarters and we see Michael Cole
sitting with his new guest.
Cole: Welcome to our daily sitdown interview on the road to No
Safe Haven! My guest today is one of the six competitors in the
Extreme Elimination Chamber match for the Crimson Death Match
Title... Rick Steiner. Thanks for taking the time.
RS: Anytime Cole, nice to finally be given a limelight.
Cole: This, if I'm not mistaken... is your first ever presence
in a title match of any sorts in your HCW career... How do you
feel about this?
RS: A tad different Michael...I feel ready to go into a HCW
event with a light at the end of the tunnel...
Cole: What will be your approach going in to the match?
RS: Well, there's no doubt that my Battle Royale performance
left a lot to be desired. However, I feel that with an early
spot I can control the match from the start and the
finish...using MY lead pipe. I'll dispatch my opponents one by
one, split the Ministry up and put any thought of an Ambrose and
Younger alliance aside.
Cole: Since you're talking about that, I wanna talk about the
events that occurred on the first Collision after Birth of
Destruction VII...
After a tag team match, you attacked your brother, Scott, with
that weapon. Scott hasn't been heard or seen since then. Why...
RS: I have no brother. I know nobody called Scott. I refuse the
right to comment about any incident that may or may not have
took place with that man.
Cole: It doesn't make any sense, Rick. The HCW Universe deserves
an answer...
RS: The HCW Universe, can kiss my ass. I will choose when, where
and how I wish to broadcast, if I want too, information or lack
of information about the man most people believe as my brother.
Cole: Fine. One last question... Why do you think you will
become the next Crimson Death Match Champion?
RS: Thinking is for the weak. Knowing is for the strong. I've
beaten the CDM Champion once before...and I can take the rest of
the crap anyday.
Cole: Ok Rick, thanks and good luck.
RS: I don't want or need luck, but thanks.

Coach rolls his eyes as Scott Steiner makes his return to a
good pop. Steiner walks through Rated RKO without a care. He
stares a hole through the Golden Generation, particularly Rhodes
and Ziggler. He then proceeds to approach The Shield, words are
exchanged but it seems none are hostile. He makes his way to the
ring and approaches Bryan. He holds out his hand, which Bryan
shakes. Steiner indicates his title and nods his head as he uses
the steps to get in the ring. He takes off his shades and throws
them at Coach who dodges them. Steiner laughs as he goes to the
top and poses that extremely jacked physique. He jumps off the

Titan does walk away.
SS: That's right Titan, do as your boss tells you.
Coach laughs at this.
SS: What do you want Coach? I'm a busy man...
JC: I'm sure. However, I just wanted to notify you about your

4 on 2 Handicap Match
Ministry (Sin Cara/Kane/Batista/Ryback) vs Scott Steiner and ???
Kane stayed in the ring as his comrades made their way down.
Scott Steiner then strolled to ringside and awaited his partner
which turned out to be...Rick Steiner!
Tenay: Oh no...it's the dog faced Gremlin...Rick Steiner...this
can't end well!
JBL: If Scott's smart he won't get his revenge on Rick now...
Cole: Scott doesn't strike me as the think first type though.
Scott didn't look impressed at all and stared a hole through
Rick, but Coach came down and ordered The Steiner's to the ring.
Scott pretty much forced Rick to the apron and took on the four
members himself and largely got dominated. They kept Scott in
the corner for a good solid beat down. After that, Sin Cara took
to the ropes and hit a Springboard Senton Bomb and then tagged
in Ryback who hit a big Meathook, who then tagged in Batista who
nailed a Spinebuster. Following that Kane was brought in who
measured Scott for a Chokeslam. It was delivered and Kane pinned
for a two count. Sin Cara then tagged himself in on Kane, who
went after Scott but Scott reversed it into a Belly to Belly
Suplex. Ryback flew in and tried to go for a Meathook but Scott
ducked it and bounced off the ropes, delivering a Steinerline to
Ryback.
Batista flew in looking for a Spear but Scott dragged the ropes
down and Batista went out the ring. Kane was next on the scene
but he eat an Steiner Screwdriver. Scott then looked towards Sin
Cara and then went to lock in the Recliner, bur Rick tagged
himself in. Scott looked rather shocked, but even more shocked
when Sin Cara hit a High Speed Sunset Flip for the three count.
Winners: The Ministry after a Sin Cara High Speed Sunset Flip by

Cole: Scott Steiner had the match won...what was his brother
thinking?
JBL: Can't deny the quality of the Ministry though...
Tenay: I've got to say its rather questionable of Rick to be in
the match for such a short space of time and be pinned right
away....
We then see the announcement of The Steiner Brothers involvement
on Team Golden Generation at Survive if I let you.

a combined weight of 547 pounds...Scott and Rick...THE STEINER

5 on 5 Survivor Series Match
Team Bryan (Daniel Bryan, Edge, Randy Orton, Jeff Hardy
and Sami Zayn) v Team Golden Generation (Triple H, Dolph
Ziggler, Kevin Owens, Scott Steiner and Rick Steiner)
The match gets underway with Hardy and Owens, with Owens using
his power to overcome Hardy early on. A quick tag to Ziggler
brought on different offence, a dropkick led to a couple of
elbow drops and a jacknife cover, but that wasn't enough to put
Hardy away just yet. He tagged in Zayn, which amused Ziggler,
but Zayn surprised Ziggler with his quickness and hit a
Springboard Moonsault for a two. Ziggler then tagged in Triple
H, who hit the Harley Race High Knee and laid a beatdown on Sami
Zayn. A few clotheslines later and it was down to an Indian
Deathlock. He kept the lock in for a while and released the hold
and went back to some right hands, before whipping Zayn into the
ropes and catching him with a T-Bone Suplex style move, and then
he tagged in Rick Steiner, and the Dog Faced Gremlin hit a
running powerslam before trash talking Zayn. Rick went for
another Powerslam but Zayn reversed into an inside cradle but
only got two. This allowed Zayn to tag Edge in, who instantly
went on the offensive with an Edge-O-Matic for a near fall. Edge
then locked in a Sharpshooter, and was near his corner at the
time so tagged in Bryan, who hurriedly locked in the yes lock
for a few seconds, but Edge had to release his hold as he was
getting counted in the ring. Bryan carried on a submission style
beatdown, until he tagged in Randy Orton! Orton then came in and
delivered his signature stomps around the opponent before
measuring Rick for an RKO. Orton jumped for Rick dodged it and
went for a leg drop, but missed it and staggered into his corner
where Scott tagged himself in, unbeknown to everyone bar Orton.
Rick sprang out but caught with a big Scoop Slam. He then went
to do a rope rebound Knee Drop but Steiner caught him with an
Almighty Steinerline. He roared and the crowd gave a
surprisingly good reaction to him as he jumped ready to deliver
a SSD. He picked Orton but as he did Orton's foot knocked the
referee aside slightly, and all of a sudden Rick Steiner popped
up and nailed Scott Steiner over the back of the head with the
lead pipe. Orton then snapped Scott in a sleeper hold, but Scott
was already halfway unconsious. The referee saw the hold and
raised Scott's hand down once, twice and three times.
Scott Steiner is eliminated in 25:10
While Hunter is berating Rick for what he did, Ziggler then came
in and flew with a Flying Forearm, and gave punches all over
Orton. He then delivered a Fame Asser for a two count, then
Triple H got tagged in and he drilled Orton with a right hand.
Orton played a face in peril for a good while, taking beatings
off Owens, Ziggler and HHH but then when Rick Steiner came in
Orton carried on the previous work and hit his vintage
backbreaker, before tagging in Daniel Bryan who started an out
of the ring assault after Rick Steiner initially tried to get
counted out intentionally. He used the ring post to his
advantage before sliding Rick back in the ring, but Rick caught
Bryan with a Legsweep and then locked in a single leg Boston
Crab. Bryan kicked his way from Rick, but Rick then managed to
nail a Belly to Belly. His three partners were on the apron
asking for the tag, Rick ignored them and slowly made his way to
the top rope and was far too slow. Bryan got behind him and
managed to hit a Dragon Suplex and bridge the pin while staying
on the top rope as though he was tied in the tree of woe, and
bridged for the three count!
Rick Steiner is eliminated in 36:31

JM: Scott, another tough night for The Steiner Brothers...
SS: Not another word from you Josh Mathews.
Steiner sighs and takes off his shades.
SS: You know, I can take my brother beating me up. I can take
him costing me matches. If anyone else had done all what Rick
has to me the last few months they'd be decimated. But I just
can't piece together what has happened. What have I done to my
brother to cause this rift?
Rick...come down to the ring next Collision. We need to get this
sorted. If you won't answer my calls or respond to my texts, and
you dodge me in corridors, let's talk things over in a familiar
environment.

Crowd give a big cheer to Freakzilla. Coach doesn't even look
annoyed or shocked that Scott Steiner has interrupted him; it
has become commonplace. Scott grabs a mic and slides in the
ring, posing once for the fans.
SS: Hey Coach!!!
Steiner leans in and hugs Coach. Coach looks very awkward as
Steiner laughs.
JC: Scott, why do you constantly make a point of interrupting
The Coach?
SS: Because I want to chat, Coach.
JC: Then you come along to my office. You book an appointment
with Titan...
SS: Since when was Titan your secretary and your head of
security? Do you think he scares me? I've taken bigger and
badder men than him before.
JC: Scott, get to the point. You don't know what it is like to
be a busy man like The Coach.
SS: Fine. I wanted to know whether me and Rick could have some
camera time. We're going to sort out our recent issues,
hopefully.
JC: Oh great, two incoherent Michigan ramblers talking for a
long period of time. Sounds great. Collision will mark the first
ever edition of Coaches Corner. I will supervise this historic
meeting of minds. I hope it works out for you, because as soon
as that's all done, you'll be facing the number one
contenders...Kevin Owens and Triple H!
Steiner just laughs and nods, before leaving the
ring.
Coaches Corner
Guests: The Steiner Brothers
As we came back from a break, a sofa, a couple of chairs and a
coffee table was already set up as well as a big picture of
Coach. Rick Steiner had obviously already made his entrance
during the break, as Scott was just finishing his, posing for
the fans.
JC: Right, Rick, Scott, let's get this thing moving. Who'd like
to start?
Scott jumps in before Rick gets a chance.
SS: Rick, I just want to put this behind us brother. I don't
know what I'm supposed to have done. All I can say is I want
this sorting today. What's going on up in that head of yours
Rick?
RS: All I can say Scott is that I'm sorry. I want it to go back
to how it used to be...me and you, destroying tag teams left
right and center...picking up tag belts for fun. And I know the
only way we can go back to this is if I'm honest with you.
I was jealous of you Scott. I was jealous of the Steiner name
being fully associated with you. The fans saw you as some sort
of hero...the Colleseum Battle Royale winner, the only man to
ever win three matches in a HCW Pay Per View, The most
unorthodox CDM Champion in history. And what was I? A scumbag
who ran away with you with Alberto Del Rio's money.
Crowd boo. HCW fans remember.
RS: See they boo me...they remember what happened? So I laid my
plan to attack you and infuriate you...infuriate you so much
that you would agree to a match at Ground Zero...
Scott looks as shocked as Coach does.
JC: Woah woah woah...you wanted to fight your own brother at
Ground Zero, and the only way you could think to do that was
beat him up??
RS: Yeah and no...I wanted to face my brother in a match to
prove to the world, to prove to myself and more importantly
prove to my brother that I could go with him in the ring ...but
then I realised soon after Scott returned it was a stupid idea.
I was carrying around your lead pipe like I was the man. Then,
like I said I started having doubts. I used to hit you when I
wasn't aiming for you. I used to miss you when I was aiming for
you. Mistakes were coming in to play...but I was too far into
this to stop.
JC: So tell me...will these actions stop?
RS: Yeah...guess I'll just stick to being the pathetic, bag
carrying, lesser Steiner.
Rick throws his microphone down and leaves looking upset. He
gets halfway up the ramp-
SS: RICK!
Rick turns back.
SS: If you wanted a match...all you had to do was ask. None of
this should have happened, and it wouldn't have happened if you
just asked me...Coach!
Coach turns to Scott.
SS: Now, I'm guessing by my track of record of interrupting you
while you're talking and my latest win/loss record I'm not in
the driver’s seat for any title opportunities?
Coach agrees.
SS: Ok, then...if you are agreeable....why don't we have this
match...
Rick and Coach both raise their eyebrows.
JC: I'm pretty sure I've got the space. Ok. That's booked.
SS: Now Rick...come back down so we can kick some Golden
Generation ass!
Crowd cheer that, as Tenay and Ventura discuss what's just gone
down in the ring.
We then see The Steiners perform well as a team, but just get
unlucky after Rick eats a Pedigree.
We then see more good teamwork which results in a win for The
Steiners over the Ministry, albeit via counout. We then see
flashes over the 25 year Tag Team dominance by The Steiners.

RS: Tonight...I face my brother, in a match where I am
determined to win to prove to my brother I can be as good as
him. Tonight, I pin my brother. After tonight, Scott won't be
known as the only Steiner worth watching.
----------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------
SS: How do I go about this? Do I squash my brother, hurt him,
destroy him, to quell to stop this act he's doing? I love my
brother, but he needs to stop this idea of me not thinking of
him as an equal. It really is annoying.
Maybe I'm best just laying down and letting him pin
me...tonight, one way or another...for the first time in my life
I'm not looking forward to a HCW event being Steinerized.
No catchphrases tonight.
Grisham: Dolph, you've had your fair share of issues with the
Steiner brothers... Was it a shock to you that Rick did the
stuff that he did to Scott?
Ziggler: I didn't see it coming, though I think it came through
jealousy from Rick of Scott’s achievements
Grisham: Steve, Rick Steiner has been growing more and more
frustrated these last few months but recently, him and Scott
tried to make amends... Do you think this match can help or
destroy this attempt at reconciliation?
Corino: I think what is done is done, and Rick and Scott have a
relationship that just can't be mended. You can't choose who
your brother is, but that doesn't mean they have to get along.
Grisham: Mick, how can Scott approach this match? He's facing
his own brother, which must be difficult for him...
Foley: I don't think it’s all that difficult for Scott, this
isn't the first time he and his brother have had issues probably
not the last either.
Grisham: Who do you have, Mick?
Foley: I think Scott will take the win tonight though. It will
be the best challenge Scott has had in a long while though.
Grisham: Steve?
Corino: I think Rick will come out on top tonight. He's breaking
the ceiling set by his own name, and I think he's ready to make
a huge impact tonight.
Grisham: Dolph?
Ziggler: Scott is too good. He's my pick.
Grisham: We’ll now return to ring level and to our announcers,
Mike Tenay and Jesse Ventura!

Tenay: And we are back for a match with major implications!
Ventura: Winning team will get the next Fusion shot at the
Synergy Tag Team Tiles. And depending on the result of the title
match tonight, it could be as soon as the next PPV!
Tenay: You are right, let’s go to the action.

Nikki and Williams start the match off, locking up before
Williams grabs Nikki with a facelock before hitting a double
underhook suplex. Williams worked closer to the ground with
facelocks and knees, at one point getting Nikki up for a
Northern Lights suplex. Nikki was able to reverse a snap suplex
attempt into a mat slam, before hitting a springboard
roundhouse. Williams was able to kick out of a cover, but Nikki
capitalised with a headscissor takedown. WIlliams was able to
reverse a Thesz press attempt into an exploder suplex. Williams
tagged in Magnus, with two hitting a running knee lift /
sidewalk slam combination.
Magnus avoided the cover and had Nikki in the corner, nailing
punches and choking her in the corner. Magnus irish whipped
Nikki into the ropes, but Nikki ducked a lariat and hit a
running bulldog. As Magnus stayed against the rope, Brie gets
tagged in and hits a running knee to Magnus. Brie got Magnus up,
but Magnus rolled out of the ring quickly with Douglas tending
to him. Delirious and Butcher came around one side and went to
attack the two, but Regal got in their face. All of a sudden,
Nikki and Brie are in the ring and signal to the crowd, before
both hit huge suicide dives through the ropes, taking out all 5
men. As all six recover, Brie rolls in the ring first before
Magnus crawls back in. Brie hits shoot kicks into Magnus’ chest,
before Magnus ducks one, jumps up and scoops Brie up and hits a
vertical suplex. He covers, but Delirious and Butcher charge in
the ring and break it up.
Williams gets in the ring quickly but Butcher hits him with
stiff punches before hitting a chokebomb. Nikki attempted to
come in but Butcher hit a lariat, knocking her down. Delirious
dragged Brie by the hair over to their corner and tagged himself
out before pushing her out of the ring. Magnus got hit with a
single leg dropkick, before Delirious hit a springboard DDT.
Magnus was able to kick out, but Delirious was able to hit a
Cobra Clutch suplex. Magnus rolled away, crawling towards
Williams, but Delirious hit a dropkick into the back of Magnus,
sending him into the middle turnbuckle. Williams tagged himself
in quickly and came in the ring and hit a massive lariat. He hit
another, before hitting a European uppercut and a gutwrench
suplex. Regal yelled out to finish it, as Williams grabs
Delirious around the waist and goes to push him against the
corner with Butcher to knock him off. Butcher sees it coming and
swings a huge elbow and hits Williams. Delirious capitalises and
is able to hit a wheelbarrow driver for the pin.
Delirious eliminates Williams via a wheelbarrow driver
at 15:03
Nikki comes in as Delirious is distracted by Williams leaving
the ring, hitting a leaping clothesline. Nikki signals the fans
before hitting another, before hitting an Alabama slam. She
covers, but Delirious just kicks out, before hitting a snapmare
and a rolling neck snap. Nikki goes to finish it with the Rack
Attack, but Delirious slips out and goes to his his own
finisher, the Bizzaro Driver. Nikki slips out and falls back
into her corner and tags in Brie. Brie comes in with a roll up,
but Delirious kicks out. Delirious gets a hold of Brie and
throws her into his corner and tags in Butcher. Brie gets held
by Delirious as Butcher elbows her in the face, before hitting a
pumphandle slam. He covers, but Brie somehow kicks out. Butcher
goes to finish it himself, getting Brie up and with the
Argentine hold for his Psycho Driver III, but Brie reverses it
in a hurricanrana. Brie hits repeated shoot kicks to a kneeling
Butcher, before hitting a dropkick to his head. She goes to
cover, but Butcher kicks out. Brie goes for a diving crossbody
but Butcher catches her, hitting a Death Valley Driver into the
mat.
He goes for Brie again, but turns around and takes out Nikki
with an elbow, knocking her off the apron. Butcher tags in
Delirious and lifts Brie up for a brainbuster. Delirious hits an
enziguri to Brie’s head before she gets dropped down for the
brainbuster. Delirious lifts Brie slowly to her feet, as she
struggles to stand. Delirious hits his handspring stunner and
gets the cover for the win and tag team contendership.

Match Rating:**½
Tenay: Gotta admit, that was an impressive performance by these
two, as much hate as they’ve been getting by the fans.
Ventura: Sure, they don’t look like supermodels but they can
wrestle and they showed that tonight. If I were either team in
the Synergy Tag Team Title match, I would start to worry…
Tenay: I think they only worry about their upcoming match, to be
honest. Now, let’s go back to the skybox. To you, guys!
Grisham: Impressive win for the S.C.U.M. members. That places
them in a great spot.
Corino: Seems Jacobs maybe was right about these guys after a
rough start.
Grisham: Anyway, we’ll focus on previewing the next match… Let’s
just say this won’t be for the kids… A blood feud to be finished
inside the most dangerous structure wrestling has seen… The
Global Title will have a new owner as Vader had to forfeit the
title to be in the Pot of Gold Match… And it’ll be the winner of
a match between the two former NWO teammates going at it for the
second straight PPV. Bret Hart and The Rock have one last score
to settle… Inside Hell in a Cell!
We start the video package with the footage of Bret’s shocking
betrayal of the NWO during War Games, ending the group
altogether… We then see some footage of their match at No Safe
Haven, which ended with a double DQ as both men brawled on the
outside and the ref lost control.

(Hart is backstage after his match with The Rock)
Hart: Rock, this isn't over! (Hart is visibly hurting, but the
anger on his face is showing even moreso) I'm not letting this
end this way. I'm going to get my hands on you at the next
Fusion! I'm proud that I ended the NWO, but I'm going to be even
more proud when I crush the People's Champion in front of all
the people! You see I'm going to make your people understand
that my side is the side to be on. My side is the side of
justice and order. My side is where excellence is made. You are
on the wrong side Rock! Tonight, we could not reach that
conclusion, but we will! I'm not done. I'm not anywhere close.
I'll see you soon Rocky.
(Hart walks off towards the parking lot as he has a smirk on his
face)
We then see the ending of the Survive If I Let You Fusion
Survivor Series Match with Bret controversially making Rock pass
out after Jacobs’s involvement.

don't have the skill like me. You don't have my abilities. I was
always the workhorse of the NWO. You just added some "star
power" even though people already know I'm the best. I proved it
yet again. Sure, Jacobs might have helped a little, but a true
champion fights through that pain. I'm a true champ. I'm the
best there is, was, and ever will be. I can fight through
anything. I will always come out on top. You cannot beat me

Rock: It's just like you to take credit for what 4 other men did
Bret. You have been taking all the credit for nWo so why change
that habit now? You haven't beaten me one on one Bret. We
finished with a double knock out at No Safe Haven, and making me
pass out after I have been taken to my limits after bringing the
smackdown to 4 other men first is nothing to brag about.
You want bragging rights Hart, fine. I will see you at Fusion,
we will one have more match in the ring. Just you and me, and I
don't care what stipulation we get. After I put your candy ass
in the smack down hotel for the final time, you will know that

The ladies start to throw a fit but we suddenly see Hogan doing
some stuff on his office. His office’s door suddenly opens to
see Rock come towards him. Hogan gets up.
Hogan: You know you could be knocking…
He’s stopped by Rock making the stop sign with his right hand
close to the face. That doesn’t please Hogan a lot.
Rock: FINALLY! THE ROCK HAS COME BACKKKKKKK TO
ALLLLLLLBANYYYYYYYY!
The crowd loves Rock, alright…
Rock: Sorry for interrupting you like that but The Rock has not

in the Survivor Series match for two straight hours…

that Jimmy Scumbag…
Hogan: I know, Rock… Look, I can make something for you… Next
week, on Fusion… You will go one-on-one with Jimmy Jacobs. Is
that good for you?
Rock: That’s okay but The Rock wants more… He wants Bret Hart
because it seems he can’t beat The Great One without using
others to do the job. Hell, we faced at No Safe Haven and we
couldn’t have a deciding winner...
The Rock thinks that the Millions…
Crowd: And Millions!
Rock: Of Rock’s fans wants to see the People’s Champ…
Hogan: Enough! I know, I know…
He’s in deep thoughts for a couple of seconds…
Hogan: Since you want him bad enough… I’ll say that you get Bret
Hart at Ground Zero… And to make sure that we get a definitive
ending to your ongoing issues, your match with him…
Will be held inside....
HELL IN A CELL!
The crowd pops huge for that blockbuster match… The Rock simply
takes out his sunglasses.
Rock: The Rock appreciates that opportunity… But he sure isn’t
waiting until Ground Zero to kick Bret’s ass so if he shows up
tonight, The Rock is going…

without you? Well, Let the Rock tell you something Jabroni, The
Rock did not need you to help him beat 6 other men in Pot of
Gold two years ago to become the Universal Champion. The Rock
never needed you to help him win the global titles, or
international titles he has held. We were a team Bret, and last
the Rock checked, there is no I in team!
Bret we fought side by side, as a team, and as a team we beat
greats like Revolution, and Invasion, and we would have beaten
Invasion again had you not turned on your own damn team. But The
Rock shouldn't be surprised, every time Hogan chose the two of
us to represent nWo, we would lose, because you would always get
pinned. if I had Cena or Big Show, nWo always won. You haven't
been the crutch you think you have Hitman, if anything, its you
that have been holding me back. So if I have to beat the holy
hell out of you in that cell. Then the Rock will bring the
smacketh down and you will will stay being the best their never
was!
With that the Rock shoves the camera out of his locker room and
shuts the door.

Hart: You want to talk about being held back Rock! You guys
always got the title shots while sat by the way side and helped
you guys out with the titles you could never seem to win! I
would've have taken all the opportunities you guys had and won
title after title. I am that good, but you guys never wanted
Bret to have the spotlight! I'm no entertainer! I'm no movie
star! I'm a damn wrestler and I'm the best there is when it
comes to being a wrestler! So you should shut your mouth Rock!
I'm going to prove you wrong. I'm done with you holding me back.
I'm going to unleash hell in that cell and you guys will regret
ever holding back the Hitman! The world better be ready for the
best wrestler in the world to take down the People's Champion!

The screen suddenly turns to Angle, in his office, looking at
some papers he has found. He doesn’t look too pleased… A
secretary comes to his room.
Secretary: What is it, Mr. Angle…
Angle: I wanted to have a match at Ground Zero between two guys
not on the card for the newly vacated Global Championship… But
it seems Hogan made a couple of moves in case Vader would give
away the title…
So, can you start spreading the word in the press that the
Global Championship will have a new holder… And that it will be
the winner of the Hell in a Cell match between Bret Hart and The
Rock. Understood?
Secretary: Starting on it, now!
Secretary leaves and lefts Angle thinking with himself about
something. Bret sees the scene and has a smile on his face… But
that smile leaves quickly when Rock charges at him and they
start brawling. Security has to keep them in control, not an
easy task knowing the situation between them...
Tenay: What a big news! Hogan made it so that Bret/Rock match
will now also be for the vacated Global Title!
Ventura: In their situation, this is just some gravy added to
it. They truly want to rip each other apart… The title will be a
good prize afterwards…
Corino: I have to agree with you, Jesse. But I wonder why Hogan
made those plans before being suspended last week?
(Hart is backstage after Fusion)
Hart: Oh boy, oh boy. I finally am getting recognized enough to
have a shot for the Global Championship. It's about time that
Hogan had the smarts to do the right thing. Plus, it will be so
nice to raise that title over the broken body of The Rock.
Thanks Hogan. It was nice to end the NWO. It will be even better
to become Global Champion like I have deserved since the moment
I came back to HCW!
The fans are waiting and talking amongst themselves in the Tyson

The Rock comes out to a huge pop and paces the stage for a
moment and give the People's Eyebrow to his fans. He stops in
the middle of the stage a puts a mic to his mouth:
Rock: FINALLY... THE ROCK HAS COME BACK TO SIOUX CITY
IOWAAA!!!!!
Another pop for the People's Champion.
Rock: So the The Rock has been put in a match for the Global
Championship against Bret Hart. I got to be honest with you, The
Rock couldn't be happier to be in that match! The Rock will win
and once again prove that he is still the People's Champion!
We end the package with footage of in-ring action between both
men and the sight of the Hell in a Cell structure.
Grisham: Mick, the New World Order has been for a long time a
mainstay of Hybrid Championship Wrestling. We all know how it
ended... How must Rock feel going into this Hell in a Cell
match?
Foley: The Rock is electrified, Nothing less. He has a lot of
momentum going into this match. Bret has made things personal,
and Rock will make him answer for it.
Grisham: Dolph, Bret Hart has been on a crusade for the last few
months and at High Voltage, it ended in such a disappointing
result for everyone... Now, what can we expect from Bret inside
Hell in a Cell?
Ziggler: The last time those two men went into a structure
similar to this, we all saw what happened. To stop the early
flurry of Rock, Bret could use an equaliser, like a Steel Chair
or something similar.
Grisham: Steve, as Hogan's last orders before getting suspended,
this match is now for the Global Title. Does it add to the
importance of this match or it was already important due to what
happened at BOD VII?
Corino: I think the Global title in the mix is just a bonus now.
These two men have shown their hate for each other for weeks
now, and their hatred is above a title. The Global title is just
an addition to their bragging rights, and a great addition at
that.
Grisham: Steve, who do you see leaving the Cell with the title?
Corino: I've got my money on the Rock here, I think this is his
night.
Grisham: Dolph?
Ziggler: Hart for me. He's on a roll.
Grisham: You're probably pulling for Rock in this matchup...
Does it have the potential to be career-altering for both men?
Foley: I am not going to lie Todd, Hell In the Cell Matches can
and often do take years off your career. I am the perfect
example of that. Will either of them have altered careers? Of
course they will, its the nature of the cell. However, I am in
Rock's corner for this one as you guessed it.
Grisham: We’ll be back with our last preview of the evening.
Don’t forget to call your cable or satellite provider if you
want to order Ground Zero. I would suggest it, it promises to be
a great night full of great in-ring action and drama at its
finest.

Grisham: We’re back… Our main event of the evening will be the
return of HCW’s trademark match, the Pot of Gold match as Taz
will defend his newly-won Universal Championship against seven
other hungry competitors. It will be the first time in two years
that Cody Rhodes won’t be in the main event as well. Let’s see
how we got there....
We start the video package with the Taz win over Cody at Survive

The fans start to move to leave but immediately stop and start
popping when Foley's music hits. He comes out with a few bang
bangs then gets down to business.
IC: I told you all I would be here tonight to explain Pot of
Gold for those who have never competed in it and here I am. What
will happen over the next few weeks, is that, Collisions GM
Coachman, and Fusions GM Hulk Hogan will be booking a series of
qualifying matches to win spots in this years Pot of Gold Match.
Foley pauses for pops.
IC: The Pot of Gold match is a two cage match, the winner being
that individual who first escapes the second cage, and claims
the Universal championship. Not only is that winner the new or
retaining Universal Champion, but the Champ gets to name and
book his own pay per view. To be scheduled for a future date.
Foley pauses as the the crowd pops.
IC: I completely leave the competitors to the GMs and I am
confident that it will be a great tournament. Bear in mind that
there has ever only been one Champion to successfully defend his
title in this match and that is our Current Champion, Cody
Rhodes!!
Rhodes gets a mixed reaction.
IC: The Champ of course will get a bye and Coach will be looking
for 3 other competitors and Fusion will have four of their own.
Thank you all for coming tonight and Have a Nice Day!

RY: Jeff, you once again have gotten a victory on the way to
Ground Zero. How do you feel with all this momentum and many
seeing you as a big favorite to win the match?
Hardy: Honestly, I'm not even thinking about it. I keep saying
it, but nothing matters once the Pot of Gold match starts.
Everybody has the same chance of winning and losing as I do. I'm
glad many people believe in me and I hope to have many fans on
my side at Ground Zero. But, the match is extremely
unpredictable. It's extremely dangerous and all those guys who
were out there in the ring will be gunning for me after watching
me after the past few weeks. I'll prepare myself for the hell to
come, but I do not think an easy victory is on the way by any
means.
RY: You have to be thinking though that this journey over the
past year for you has to have a storybook ending like this don't
you?
Hardy: Again, I just don't think like this. Yeah, I do feel like
I deserve to win the match because of what I've achieved in the
past year. Hell, I deserve it after everything I've been
through. But, my opponents don't care. Those guys feel like they
deserve to win just as much as I do. But, I'll be damned if I'm
going to let them win over me. I want to win this. I have the
heart to win. I'm not sure what's going to happen at Ground
Zero, but everybody can be damn sure that I'm going out there
swinging.

Heenan: You see Vader is the best Global Champion in HCW
history. He is the most dominant Global Champion in HCW history.
Yet, I thought when Vader became Global Champion that it would
start to change things in this company. I thought Vader and I
could change the system from the inside out. We would be the
guys to finally put HCW on the right path. Hogan does not do a
good job which all of you clearly know. The Board of Directors
could do much better. I thought Vader and I could change this
company by taking one of it's major titles and showing our
worth. I thought this company would recognize that we were the
guys who understood how to run things around here.
This hasn't gone well though. Vader has just been a dominant
Global champion that HCW does really nothing with. I've been a
great manager whose skills have not been recognized by the
Board. Instead, we get brushed away because they don't take me
seriously because the Board realizes that my skills are too good
to comprehend. Plus, the Board is too afraid to have a monster
on top because they don't want to lose control.
Well, if the Board doesn't want to recognize us now, then they
force our hand. Vader and I had a long chat. We decided it would
be best for this business for us to give up the Global Title!
The reason being that if we can't change things from where we
are now. Then, we need to move up the ladder ASAP! We need to be
in the Pot of Gold match because Vader needs to be Universal
Champion! HCW needs Vader to be Universal Champion! The only way
to better this company is for Vader to become champion with me
at his side! I'm a great manager and Vader is at the top of this
industry! I need to show the world that Vader and I are game
changers! The only way to do that is to get Universal Champion!
You see when we were a part of the Revolution. We wanted to
change HCW. However, there were too many egos. Now, with just
Vader and I, we can really change HCW!
Tonight marks the official start of Bobby "The Brain" Heenan's
Campaign for a Better HCW! I'm a man of the people. I'm a man
who understands what is best for the business! I'm a man who can
really push HCW in the right direction. With Vader right by my
side, we will create a better HCW! I will be the man who listens
to all of you people! I will be a great leader that brings
change! This is only the beginning of this great journey!
Let's make a better HCW together! The first step is that all of
us will bring the Universal Championship to the Mastodon of HCW!
Let's do this people!
With that, Bobby Heenan drops the mic and walks out to ringside
as Vader stays inside the ring. Heenan gives away the Global
Championship to a ringside crew guy and tells him to give that
to Kurt. Vader's music hits as the audience has some groans at
what Bobby Heenan just said.
Burke: Couldn't of said that better myself. Regal, how dare you
not challenge for titles? Isn't that what your here for, to be
the best? I am the best, and I will prove it at Ground Zero when
I win the Pot of Gold Match for the second time. and reclaim the
Universal Championship.

I look forward to. And I hope to be leaving this place with the
Universal Title, Renee.
We end the video with in-ring action from all eight guys and the
one last sight of the Pot of Gold structure.
Grisham: Steve, who do you think has the most momentum going
into this Pot of Gold Match?
Corino: Taz picked up the win on both Fusion and Collision, one
hell of a feat, no other man has done that coming into this
match.
Grisham: Mick, Pot of Gold is the original match HCW has on
their schedule. What makes this match so exciting, in your
opinion?
Foley: These matches are exciting because of the number of
competitors and the two cages. It can literally be anyone's
match to win. Also, there is the excitement of when we have a
winner, what will their Pay-Per-View be named about?
Grisham: Dolph, Cody has been the only champion to keep his
title after entering Pot of Gold. Why is it difficult for
champions to retain there?
Ziggler: That was a testament to a type of champion Cody
is...it's so hard as the hunger is just there for so many
people. Usually you're just facing one, and very rarely two or
three other people who have earned their opportunity. In Pot of
Gold you're facing seven people. Seven people with different
styles...the pitbull like style of Taz, the demonic style of the
Undertaker, the daredevil style of Jeff Hardy, the lunatic style
of Dean Ambrose, the powerhouse style of Vader, the smashmouth
style of Steve Austin, the brawling style of Elijiah Burke and
the MMA style of Shamrock…
You can't do that much research...you can't know all your
opponents perfectly like you can in a one on one, a triple
threat or even a four way...these are people of different
styles, from different positions on the card, from different
brands...that's why it's not easy.
Grisham: What's your pick, Dolph?
Ziggler: Vader has been close to the big belt in a steel
structure before. On that occasion, I stopped him and became the
Universal champion. After that, he put a target on my back, but
after somebody Again indicates Foley without looking at
him. didn't do their job correctly, I got fired and we never
saw Vader around the scene until now...tonight, the Mastodon
takes home the big prize.
Grisham: And you, Mick?
Foley: Ziggler, how would you know if I was doing my job
correctly or not?. Back when you had gold, you never showed up.
When you did, you ran away from all your matches as fast as you
could..Still don't know what Triple H see's in you. Anyways,
like I said, it can be anyone's match. I have to say as a former
winner the favorite is Elijah.Taker and Vader will be a force
but the speed of those like Elijah will be their biggest threat.
Stone Cold will not go easy for one second, Jeff is great and
willing to put his body on the line to win, but in the end, I
have to pull for Burke. He has the advantage of knowing what it
takes to win this match. He is in great shape, and can do it
again.
Grisham: And you, Steve?
Corino: My money is on Ambrose, the dark horse. I think he'll be
able to use his size, speed and agility to his advantage
tonight.
Grisham: Well, that’s it for the Ground Zero Pre-Show… We cannot
wait for the action to start. Thanks to Steve, Mick and Dolph
for being here and we’ll see you next for Ground Zero!
We get the credits as we see one last shot of the ring and the
two mega structures (Pot of Gold (Which one of his cages will
also be used for the Steel Cage Match) and Hell in A Cell.
