Birth of Destruction VII Pre-Show
DIR By: ControversyPersonified
Date: March 8, 2015, 6:59 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
We are live in the Olympic Stadium, Montreal, Quebec, Canada!
The stadium is filling up nicely and we have an even higher than
usual skybox. We first see our host, Todd Grisham!
TG: My name is Todd Grisham...it's the one we've all been
waiting for...Birth of Destruction Seven is here! We're only a
few hours from the main show starting but for now, we're on the
Pre-Show with a great panel. First off is a man who used to be a
HCW competitor, even winning the CDM Title one time in an
Ultimate X match, proving anything can and will happen in
HCW...that man is...Matt Morgan.
Morgan stares menacingly into the camera to start off with but
then smiles and laughs.
TG: Next is the Co-CEO of the company...Ted DiBiase Jr!
Jr. Gets a nice pop from down below and he waves to the crowd.
TG: And finally, good to see you fit and healthy again...Michael
Cole!
Cole nods to Grisham and reaches to shake Grisham's hand, which
he does.
TG: Gents, I know you can't wait to get your teeth into this
Pre-Show but you will have to wait a little longer...we're going
to have to go back my friends to Colleseum and see what happened
last time HCW was on PPV.
We start with a look back at the Pre-Show where Jimmy Jacobs
toppled Homicide to get in the Battle Royal then Scott Steiner
left Sami Zayn high and dry to let The Disciples beat himself
and Zayn, though Steiner did get a spot himself because he
didn't get pinned. Up first in the main show was The Shield
retaining against the nWo, then we saw Kofi Kingston climb a
ladder to win back the CDM Title. Then, a brutal Last Man
Standing match was won eventually by Bill Goldberg, even though
it was mainly because Triple H won the match for him. A nice
success story followed, as Jeff Hardy finally had a big HCW win
in winning The International Title, defeating Dean Ambrose.
After that, the hour long Iron man match where Kurt Angle was
officiating a narrow win for Cody Rhodes to retain his Universal
Title in an incredible effort over Shane Douglas. Then the
Battle Royale came along, and we see the best moments from it:
Jacobs' early good showing, the Invasion outlasting the nWo,
Dolph Ziggler and Wade Barrett doing massive eliminations, Bryan
stopping Ziggler's wave of momentum, The Invasion trying to
cheat Steiner out of the win, then Steiner celebrating pointing
at the BoD VII sign. We go back to the skybox.
TG: What a show that was. But we have not much time to look on
the past, it's time to look at the future which is Birth of
Destruction. It's time to jump right in with our previews:
Our first preview of the evening is a match that won’t be a
technical masterpiece, it’s simply going to be a physical war
between the Mastodon and the Rattlesnake. The Global
Championship will be on the line for this match and let’s see
how we got to this point…
The video package starts with footage of the Awards Show’s Hell
in a Cell match between Goldberg and Vader for the Global Title
with the ending and Vader’s celebration.
We then see footage from Austin getting the winning fall for
Team Fusion in the Brand of the Year match that main-evented
that same show.
--- Quote from: pat2007 link ---
> Now, as you already know, Shane has himself a spot in the MITB
match as a gift for leading this group of guys to victory. I
also gave Austin the chance to become the #1 Contender for the
Global Championship if he beats the former champion, Bill
Goldberg. I'm confident you will, Steve...
--- End Quote ---
We then see footage of that match between Goldberg and Austin
with Stone Cold getting the win. We then see the post-match
attack from Vader with a vicious powerbomb to top it off.
--- Quote from: MrAwesome link ---
>
> (Heenan is laughing in the hallway with Vader behind him on
the way to their locker room when a camera crew comes up to
them)
>
> Heenan: Oh, are you gentlemen looking for a scoop, a hot take?
Well, take this one to the bank! Stone Cold Steve Austin does
not scare Vader. Tonight, Vader presented a very fine
demonstration to Mr. Austin as to what happens to those who dare
challenge Vader. You see, as much as Austin is a blithering
redneck, he has plenty of fight in him. However, he needed to be
put in his place. There will be no beer bashes or "Hell yeahs!"
in this battle. This battle, like any other, is who is the most
dominant in the ring. The title of most dominant shall always
belong to Vader!
>
> Austin will try to get back at Vader. He's predictable like
that. Vader is not worried and neither am I. This rattlesnake
will be trampled upon by the Mastodon at Birth of Destruction.
As of right now, I would like to give one piece of advice to
Stone Cold. Have one beer bash by yourself before our match at
Birth of Destruction. I want him to be as drunk as a skunk
before our big match. The only reason being is that at least the
pain that he experiences once he loses will be delayed till the
next morning! Welcome to the war, Stone Cold. Please take a good
luck at what a true Global Champion looks like!
>
> Vader: Austin, this was only step one for me in my conquest
against you! The next step will be at Birth of Destruction when
I crush you for good! IT'S VADER TIME!
--- End Quote ---
--- Quote from: The Judge link ---
>
> Austin: I don't think that'll be an issue.. Oh and after the
match if you feel like doin a little light reading feel free to
look up one of my favorite verses of all time, Austin 3:16.. see
ya next week!! Oh and Vader you better take notes cause when I'm
done with him I've got a whole can of whip ass with your name on
it!
--- End Quote ---
--- Quote from: MrAwesome link ---
>
> (Heenan smirks at Austin's comments)
>
> Heenan: Oh, Austin, we'll definitely be taking notes on your
match. When you're done with your match, we'll be more than
prepared to deal with your little can of "whip-ass" as Vader has
a truckload of whoop-ass heading right for you! So please Austin
recite your little verse because Heenan 3:16 says "You stand no
chance against the Mastodon of HCW, Vader!" We have no worries.
I can't wait till next week Austin.
--- End Quote ---
Then we see the brawl at the last Fusion before ending the
package with some in-ring actions from both men.
TG: That promises to be one hell of a brawl. Cole, how Stone
Cold should prepare for this one?
Cole: By doing what he does best. Vader is a monster but Austin
won’t back down and he will throw everything at the champion. He
needs also to be careful of Bobby Heenan, who did show that he
can be a factor in any match his client is competing.
TG: Matt, how do you think Vader will approach this contest?
MM: Being usually the big man in the match myself, just like
Vader is here I would expect him to take his time and set up for
one of his big finishers...also, if he can get Heenan to help
out when, or if Austin goes on one of his adrenaline rushes,
that'll help him.
TG: Ted, what do you expect from this match?
Jr.: A major brawl… Faced Austin before and it won’t be pretty.
It’ll be the strength and brutality of the Mastodon against the
legendary toughness and brawling acumen of the Rattlesnake.
TG: Who’s your pick?
Jr.: I can’t go against Vader. Heenan will play a role in this
one and I can see the Mastodon gaining the edge at the end of a
big fight.
MM: Vader...he maybe even immune to The Stunner. Doesn't work as
well on big guys.
TG: Finally, you Cole?
Cole: Austin will have his work cut out and I don’t see him
stopping the Mastodon.
TG: Well there's one preview down, we're going to have a quick
look at BoD's fan interaction event yesterday then we'll be back
with more!
We see various footage of a WM Access style event, autograph
signings with the main faces like the nWo, Sting, Hardy,
Steiner, Bryan and Younger amongst others. We then see heels
taking part in various challenges against people, things like a
beer drinking contest with members of the Invasion, Ziggler and
Rhodes playing, and winning against two kids on HCW 2015 on the
PS4 amongst others. We then see highlights of ill children
meeting some of their favourites to close out the package.

Kofi Kingston with a clothesline. Younger goes for a vertical
suplex, but Kofi Kingston slides down his back and turns him
around and hits a Russian Legsweep. The two men trade punches.
Younger gets the upper hand and goes for a death valley driver
but Kofi counters and hits a big crucifix powerbomb. Kofi taunts
the crowd. Kofi then climbs the top turnbuckle. Kofi Kingston
goes for a tornado DDT, but Drake Younger blocks it and catches
Kofi in mid air and hits a back breaker. Younger hits Kofi with
a shoulder block. Younger tries to climb out of the cage. He is
almost to the top but Kofi pulls him back in.
>
> Kofi begins mounting a little offense and throws Younger head
first into the cage. Kofi throws Younger into the cage again and
then grinds Youngers face across the cage. A little blood is now
dripping down from Youngers face. Kofi then motions that he is
going for the Trouble in Paradise. Kofi hits it and begins
climbing the cage. But all of a sudden the lights flicker and a
baseball bat falls into the ring from the rafters and Kofi looks
up and is shocked as Sting is standing in the rafters!
>
> MC: Oh my god, John the last time we saw Sting he was
crucified by Kofi and the rest of the disciples. What is he

about, Michael?
>
> Kofi stops climbing the cage and gets back into the ring and
grabs the bat and motions for Sting to come down to the ring.
Sting just continues looking down. Kofi doesn’t notice that
Younger is back to his feet until Younger hits a big clothesline
on Kofi. Younger then goes to the second turnbuckle and hits a
beautiful moonsault. Younger then goes back up and hits another
one. Younger then picks up Kofi and nails a vertical suplex.
Drake Younger nails Kofi Kingston with a vertical suplex right
on to the bat that is now lying in the ring. Kofi looks like he
is out cold. Younger then picks Kofi up and hits his Northern
Lights suplex on Kofi and begins crawling to the door. Younger
is almost to the door. Younger makes it to the door and escapes
the cage.

minute or so. The action was hectic, with Cara and Batista
mostly going after Owens, who had powerbombed Cara into the
apron last Collision.

three letters are what brought me here. Combat Zone Wrestling
was one of the very first places I got my start. It dubbed
itself as the home of "Ultraviolent" wrestling. Many men have
walked into this very ring and spilled tons and tons of blood
including myself and including Drake Younger.
>
> You see, Drake. This is where you were made. This is how you
became one of the most vicious men on the independent scene. You
smashed light tubes into peoples back. This is where you have
taken barbed wire metal baseball bats to the faces of any man!
This is how I became one of the most violent men in the
independent scene. This is where I as "Mr. Wrestling" packaged
piledrived men through tables and ladder and onto thumbtacks. We
changed in this arena Drake. When we got here, we decided that
we weren't just going to settle for being some h@rdcore chair
swinging freaks no offense to some ex-ECW wrestlers! We were
willing to be vicious and go beyond the limits of any normal
man! We were shooting for the top when we did everything here.
We delivered brutal, fatal fights not for just the thrill of the
violence or for the entertainment of the crowd. We did it
because we wanted to best fighters that the world had ever seen!

> I never strayed away from that goal. However, you have, Drake.
Sure, you have had brutal matches in HCW. You can claim you're
just as h*rdcore and cruel. I know that you're not. You've
gotten a little soft. The drive that I saw that you had in this
arena is gone. I don't see the fire in the eyes that I
constantly have. You don't burn a hole through any of your
opponents hearts! I don't fear you, Drake. Nobody fears little
Drake Younger anymore. The CZW Drake Younger of old has been
replaced by some replacement that has no place in the same ring
as me.
>
> I am coming to fight you Drake. It's not about your title.
It's proving that I can't stand men like you in my ring. I can't
stand men who used to believe that they could fight anyone and
everything and suddenly lose their fire. I'm going to remind you
why nobody ever wants to mess with Kevin Owens. There is a
reason why Sami Zayn hasn't confronted me in HCW, yet, it's
because he knows who I am. He has felt every single bit of pain
I can deliver. He has felt all the fight I can give to a man.
>
> I'm going to keep showing that. By the way, in case you're
getting this confused with some matter of respect over CZW, it
is not about that. I don't give a sh*t about CZW! The only
reason I cared about CZW back then is because I got a paycheck
that could help my livelihood and would continue to lead me down
the path of being the best in the world. I'm still getting a
paycheck for my family which is why I will brutalize you at
Birth of Destruction because it means better things for me and
my family. Please, do not cheer me because of that because I'm
not saying that to get sympathy. I'm saying because it's what I
do. I fight. I win. I get my paycheck and I'm happy. The title
just means bigger paychecks in the future!
>
> CZW was just some stepping stone. I'm not stepping into this
ring out of respect! I'm stepping in the CZW ring because I just
wanted to remind that this where the real Drake Younger died.
Now, I'm going to destroy the man that replaced him! I'm going
to end the man who has no fight and doesn't belong anywhere near
me! So allow me to pay my respect in this ring to the former
Drake Younger! I'm going to do so by doing the thing that I
could always do better than Drake!

delivers a vicious package piledriver. DJ is groaning in pain.
Owens slides out of the ring and grabs something from underneath
the apron. It's a table with barbed wire on top of it. He slides
it into the ring and sets it up. Owens just has a blank stare on
his face and grabs DJ Hyde. He lifts him into a powerbomb
position and slams him right through the barbed wired table. DJ
screams in pain as blood starts showing through his shirts.
Owens steps of the ring once again.)
>
> (This time, he grabs a steel chair, also wrapped in barbed
wire. He gets into the ring, but before he can hit DJ with it,
security members from the backstage area run in and stop Owens.
Owens drops the chair as secuirty gets in the ring. Before being
escorted out of the ring, Owens spits on DJ's face as a some
staff attend to him.)
>
> (Owens is then escorted out of the ring. As he's walking out,
he grabs a CZW banner hanging on a wall in a hallway. He rips
the banner off and wipes the sweat off his face with it and
throws it on the ground. Once he is escorted outside, security
lets him go and tell Kevin that he is banned from the arena.)

Destruction upon yourself.

right by people, but it's what's best for me. More importantly,
it's best for my family. Granted, maybe, the actions I took did
not have immediate pay off, but you cannot tell me that Drake
Younger isn't weeping to himself right now. He's wishing that I
didn't win that last match.
>

>
> TG: What about your actions against Edge? Why attack him?
>
> Owens: What I did to Edge was a business call. He hasn't
contacted me or confronted me so I'll say it. It was a business
call. Contrary to what people think, but losses matter in this
business. Any loss sets me back and the potential for me to make
it to the top of this company. I’ve been doing this for 14
years. I’ve clawed my way here and fought for everything I had.
I know a lot of people say that, fine. But I have two children
and a wife that I have to take care of. I have parents that I
need to show that all the sacrifices they made for me to get
here were worth it. If Edge beats me, he sets me up for failure.
I could go to the back of the line where as I am in the front
right now. I already have a shot at becoming a champion in my
fourth match in HCW. Why would I want to go to the back of the
line?

> Anyone who says that I was wrong is full of it or just doesn’t

father that I see right now when you say all those things.
>
> Owens: Any father who cared for his family would do the same.
They might not be as blunt as me, but it's true. At Birth of
Destruction, in my fourth match in HCW, I am walking out of
Montreal as the CDM Champion. It's going to be brutal. My kids
aren't allowed to watch it. I warned Drake. I warned the
entirety of HCW. I am going to hurt Drake Younger. I am going to
beat Drake Younger. Kevin Owens will be the new CDM Champion.
Nobody can stop that from happening at this point.
>
> TG: Thank you for the time Kevin.

--- End Quote ---
We then see highlights of the Six Man tag last Collision where
the two of them were featured before seeing the CDM Title being
lifted up high.
TG: I'm looking forward to this..Michael, do you think the match
type favours either competitor?
Cole: Both are known for their hardcore roots and style so it
will simply favor the guy who wants it more. The buildup maybe
says it is Owens... But we will see out there...
TG: Mr DiBiase, will Owens be nervous tonight?
Jr: From what I know from the guy, I am sure there will be a
little stress. He wants to win money for his wife and kids so
there is the stress of losing that will be on his mind.
TG: And Matt, how about Drake?
MM: I've faced Drake before, and he wasn't nervous there...but
he's been in some hellacious battles for that title for a while.
The CDM Title is not a title you can hold for years...eventually
something gives. Owens is much more fresh in that sense which
has to make Younger nervous.
TG: Who's walking out with the title Junior?
Jr: Owens wants it more. It will be brutal and pretty even but
the guy with the most heart and the least conscience will
prevail.
TG: Younger or Owens for you Cole?
Cole: Younger is a little underrated by those who are picking
this match. He showed a lot of resiliency in his HCW career so
far. I see him retaining.
TG: The casting vote for you Matt?
MM: Owens...just.
TG: Ok, well now we go to the ring...it's a Money in the Bank
Qualifier from Collision! Let's take it down to the ring!

Triple Threat Last Chance Money in the Bank Qualifying
Match
Sami Zayn v Rick Steiner v Dean Ambrose
The bells rings as Sami Zayn’s entrance music plays, receiving a
huge reaction of cheers and chants
Chimel: The following is a Triple Threat Match, where the winner
will become the final entrant into tonight’s Money in the Bank
ladder match! Introducing first, from Montreal, he
is...SAAMMMMMIIIIIII ZAAAAAYYYYYNNNNNN!
Cole: Sami Zayn has showed time and time again he can mess with
the best, and tonight is his last chance to enter the Money in
the Bank coming up against the likes of Shane Douglas, Taz,
Randy Orton and Homicide.
Tenay: That ladder match later tonight has so many possible
winners. Jimmy Jacobs, Sin Cara, Koft Kingston, Torrie Wilson,
and Ken Shamrock! It could be anyone!
Zayn rolls in the ring as Rick Steiner’s music blasts through
the sound system, appearing on the stage to cheers.
Chimel: And his opponent, from Detroit, Michigan....RICKKKKK
STEEEEEEIIIINNNNERRRRRR!
Cole: Rick has made an impact by the side of his brother Scott
in recent weeks, but tonight he is on his own, with a big
opportunity waiting to be seized!
JBL: Living off his own brother’s achivements.
Tenay: Rick can hold his own, John, he’s proven it many times
here in HCW!
Steiner and Zayn stand in opposite corners, as Dean Ambrose
comes onto the stage with his music playing, the crowd split
between cheers and boos.
Chimel: And their opponent, from Cincinnati, Ohio. he
is...DEEEAAAANNNN AMMMMMMBROSEEEE!
JBL: Here’s my pick for the final entrant!
Cole: And you might have a winner too, John. Ambrose and his
Shield comrades have been on a roll recently, but Ambrose was
recently unable to beat Sin Cara for a spot.
Tenay: But Cole, tonight is Dean’s chance to qualify for the
ladder match, but then again, it could be any of these guys!
Zayn, Steiner and Ambrose stand in a triangle formation eyeing
each other down, before Ambrose goes after Steiner with a knee
to the midsection and forearms to the back, beating him down as
Zayn looks on, staying out of the action. Ambrose slides out of
the ring and grabs a chair, leaving Zayn to go for a quick
cover, but Steiner kicks out at 1 and a half. Zayn goes for a
leg lariat, but Steiner catches him! Steiner loses his balance
trying to maneuver Zayn into a powerbomb position, but Zayn is
able to capitalise with a hurricanrana over the top rope! With
Steiner out, Ambrose is still on the outside watching on. Zayn
goes for a huge plancha over the top rope, but Ambrose
interferes with a chairshot to the face, as Zayn crashes to the
outside.Ambrose quickly sets up the chair in front of Steiner
and hits a DDT, taking out Steiner. Ambrose throws Zayn back in
the ring with the chair and goes for a cover, but Zayn kicks
out.Ambrose goes back to work, but Zayn escapes and bounces off
the ropes. Ambrose goes for a flapjack, but Zayn reverses with a
dropkick!
Ambrose falls back into the ropes, but he pendulums back up and
nails a huge lariat. He goes to the top rope with the chair and
smacks his elbow and holds up the chair. Before he can go for the
elbow drop, Steiner is already up on the apron, as the two
battle it out around the turnbuckle. After back and forth
punches and elbows, Steiner is able to position himself on the
second rope, and sets up Ambrose for a belly-to-belly. Zayn gets
in the mix, and positions himself under Steiner. After a bit of
struggle, Zayn is able to powerbomb Steiner to the mat, while
Ambrose is thrown overhead halfway across the ring! Zayn goes to
capitalise with a pinfall on Steiner, but Steiner kicks out at 2
and a half.Zayn, frustrated, slides out and grabs another chair,
playing along with the fans’ reaction. When he slides back in, he
sets up the chair in the middle of the ring, and grabs Steiner
and attempts a tornado DDT on its seat, but Steiner overpowers
him, slips behind and hits a German suplex on it instead!A cover
is interrupted by Ambrose with a chairshot. He sets up his own
chair, knocking Steiner aside and goes for the Dirty Deeds, but
Zayn spins out and is able to his the Blue Thunder Bomb!
The chair is still set up, as Zayn points to the sky Sabu-style
as the crowd goes crazy. Zayn jumps off the chair, bounces of
the rope and goes to his a moonsault, but Ambrose is already up
and catches him! Ambrose maneuvers Zayn across his back, and
after a bit of struggle, hits the Midnight Special, Zayns head
bouncing off the back of the chair. Ambrose cover is interrupted
by Steiner, before Ambrose pushes Steiner back in anger,
receiving a Steiner-Line lariat for his troubles. Steiner picks
up Ambrose and goes for the Steiner Driver on top Zayn. Steiner
hits it, but Zayn puts his knees up, leaving Ambrose rolling
around in pain. Zayn is back up and locks eyes with Steiner.
Zayn smiles and nods his head, as Steiner goes up to the top
rope. Zayn picks up Ambrose in an electric chair as the crowd
cheers! Steiner hits his diving bulldog, nailing the Steinerizer
with Zayn. Before Steiner can capitalise, Zayn knocks Steiner
back with a dropkick into the corner and hits the Helluva Kick!
Steiner is knocked out of the ring, and Zayn goes up to the
opposite turnbuckle above Ambrose. Zayn hits a huge 450 splash
and covers for the three count.
Sami Zayn defeated Rick Steiner and Dean Ambrose when Zayn
pinned D. Ambrose after a 450 splash in 0:15:33.
Rating: ***
Cole: There we have it, the final entrant into the Money in the
Bank ladder match on the main show tonight, Sami Zayn.
Tenay: Looks like you were wrong, John!
JBL: You’re so funny, Mike.
Zayn celebrates as the crowd cheers and chants his name. Ambrose
starts recovering in the ring and Steiner regains his breath on
the outside, as we back to the skybox.
TG: Congratulations on Sami Zayn for winning the last
spot in the MITB match! Now, our next preview is for a match
with probably the biggest stakes since BOD V, where HCW and
their leader Mick Foley were placed in major matches with the
Revolution and his most vocal leader, HHH…
At Birth of Destruction VII, we’ll see, for the second time only
in HCW’s history, the War Games Match! And we will see the end
of either the greatest stable in HCW… Or their biggest threat…
Let’s see how we have come to this point.
We start the video package with footage of the storied career of
the New World Order stable. We then see it getting cut by the
sight of the British Invasion…

steps William Regal, who is clutching a bottle of beer but

We see the Invasion doing despicable acts to many men in the HCW
roster, but mostly to members of the New World Order. We then
see footage of the Nowhere to Run win for the NWO against the
Invasion. We then see the major brawls between both teams after
that PPV…
--- Quote from: pat2007 link ---
> As the Shield leaves via the crowd… Suddenly, the British
Invasion goes on the attack over Cena and Rock. A despicable
four-on-two assault… But not for long, as Bret and Show even the
odds and we are now into a major brawl. The issues have now
boiled over these two stables and security can’t even stop these
guys from trying to rip each other apart. Even other wrestlers
are trying to best but it’s to no avail.

> The crowd loves it! One of the most brutal matches HCW has
ever witnessed and it only happened once in the last four years!
>
> Hogan: And to make sure that the end will be happening there…
To make sure my show doesn’t suffer of your hatred anymore… I’m
going to do something that I’ll maybe regret…
>
> Whichever team loses this match… They’re officially DISBANDED!

Invasion and the NWO are completely different. While we can see
a grin on the faces of the Invasion members… It’s a complete

Universal Champion...and I know we'd both do anything for
ourselves...John, you would give your own father an Attitude
Adjustment if it benefited you...that is of course if he's

last saw him?
>
> Cena: Don't get my father into this. And you don't know me

night of your lives.
>
> Because unlike you, me and the boys know the extent of the
seriousness of this War Games match. Even if the stakes wouldn't

even end careers... A match that only ends with submission or
referee stoppage…
>
> WR: It does indeed...so it begs the question, will you submit
to your own move again should it get locked in?
>
> Cena: You love to bring that out... It ain't happening again.
It's a matter of who will have the biggest will to win back
there... We know how big this match is and we'll enter War Games
with the intention of hurting you so much so that your will be
not be good enough... Because we have no intention of letting
you and your guys get the last laugh on us. If the NWO ends, it
won't be because of you. I can guarantee you that.
>
> We still have a lot of things to do and I swear that we'll be
standing at Birth of Destruction with our biggest win in our
careers at the expense of the men who have been a constant thorn
in the last year!
>
> WR: Now you realize your own predicament...you have your own
entire legacy to lose...we have nothing to lose. We hold no
stake in HCW…
>
> Cena: We recognize how high the stakes are... But your boys
have done all this work to hurt us and destroy us this last
year... You can't seriously say that they have nothing to lose.

The video package ends with the sight of the War Games structure
and both groups staring each other.
THE ENDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD IS
HERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TG: Man… This match… Now, before we start talking about it, I’m
going to explain the rules of the War Games. Unlike the older
versions we saw in the NWA or the WCW, we’ll have only one ring
but it will be expanded before the match and it will be
surrounded by a ring-encompassing cage. Now, we had a coin toss
earlier tonight that saw the Invasion win, which means that
we’ll start with a member of both teams inside the ring and
every two minutes, a member of each team will join the fray. And
the Invasion decided to have their guys come before the NWO guys
so it’ll be an Invasion member joining the fray and making it an
handicap match for two minutes before an NWO member will even
the odds. When all members will have joined the ring, it will
only end when a member of either team submits, gets knocked out
or the ref stops the match.
So, in other words… No pinfall, no DQ and no countouts… To end
this game, either team will need to make an opponent submit or
suffer so much that the ref will have no choice to end the
match.
Michael… What comes in your mind when you think about this
match?
Cole: Let me tell you, this will be the most brutal match that I
will ever call. That’s how far the NWO and the Invasion will go
to put an end to all this. For over a year that these two
stables have been at each other’s throats… Can’t find a bigger
way to end all this…
TG: Ted, you’ve collided with the NWO when you were in the
Revolution. I mostly wanna know what makes the NWO so great in
HCW?
Jr: I seriously dunno after all these years... Their unity,
their experience, their relationship with management, although
it has softened these last few years. They are a tremendous
group of wrestlers, though. And having them together makes for a
strong unit.
TG: Matt, what about the Invasion? How do they approach such a
career-defining match?
MM: Well, for a start I hope William Regal's been training. He's
going in there with five men that want to destroy him. Now, The
Invasion have won the coin toss. So they have to use that to
their advantage early on, theres no good leaving it to
late...two on one and three on two is all when and good but when
it's four on three or five on four, it may not matter too much.
TG: Which team sees his end at Birth of Destruction VII? Matt?
MM: I don't want to say it but The Invasion may just have the
mental advantage. If this was a regular 5 on 5 I'd say the nWo,
but it's not. The Invasion in this environment may be too
cunning.
TG: Ted?
Jr: The Invasion will end up just like the Revolution, Todd.
It's difficult to eradicate the New World Order...
TG: Michael?
Cole: I can’t see the New World Order leaving this company in
such a manner. I gotta go with the NWO.
TG: I think we have a guest waiting to be interviewed. I’ll
leave it to Renee Young.

Vader and Bobby Heenan are backstage with Renee Young. Vader
looks furious while Heenan has a seemingly calm demeanor about
him.
RY: At this time, please welcome my guests, Bobby Heenan and the
Global Champion, Vader.
Heenan: Thank you for the kind introduction, Renee.
RY: Mr. Heenan, after the events of this past Fusion, what's
Vader's mindset heading into Birth of Destruction.
Heenan: (Chuckles) Oh what a silly question, Renee. You see I'm
glad Stone Cold decided to attack Vader. It was probably the
best move that he could have ever made. He can now relax and
realize that there is no pressure. You see Vader is going to win
very easily now. He is angry. He is p*ssed off! He is not going
to let some in-bred hillbilly run around and knock him down like
that. Vader is going to make him pay. He's going to make Austin
pay a lot.
RY: You can't just write Stone Cold off like that can you?
Heenan: (Laughs) I mean of course I can because I know I am
right! Sure, I'll give the man some credit. Stone Cold is a
fierce fighter. He has plenty of accolades. Now, he is going to
have a new accolade to that list. His new accolade is "The Man
who Suffered the Worst Beating in Birth of Destruction History".
I like the sound of that accolade. It's one to have great pride
in.
RY: Austin won't take any of this lightly.
Heenan: Like I care what Austin is going to think of what I say!
I know what he has to say! He's going to open a can of
whoop-*ss! He's going to say Austin 3:16! He's going to say
"Give Me a Hell Yeah!" I know what is going through that man's
head. Sure, he's a crazy son of a b*tch! Yet, anybody can
predict what a crazy man will do. I told Vader to expect the
unexpected. Be prepared for that man to do anything and
everything. He's going to do that. Vader will be ready for that.
RY: You can't possibly say that Austin is that easy to predict?
Heenan: You are questioning my brain which is not very wise to
you. I know the ins and outs. I know the stats. I know the odds.
I know the predictions. In the end though, it is how my gameplan
analyzes everything and creates victory for Vader. He's a
monster who knows how to execute my plans. Nobody can possibly
mess with that system. Goldberg and Triple H tried and
ultimately failed. Now, Austin is going to fail! I beg Stone
Cold to lay the verbal beatdown on Vader and I. Give me all the
fuel you can to make the fire in Vader brighter! At Birth of
Destruction, Vader wins and Stone Cold falls. The Mastodon shall
not be contained. The Global Champion will still be Global
Champion. The order of everything will be preserved.
RY: Does your client have anything to say?
Vader: Austin, you tried to take me out! You tried to hurt me!
Well, it didn't work! I'm going to cut the head off of the
rattlesnake! IT'S TIME! IT'S TIME! IT'S VADER TIME!
Heenan and Vader walk off to their locker room. Vader is now
walking with confidence. Heenan is patting him on the back with
a smirk. He's quite proud of himself. We head back to the
skybox.
TG: Well, now we go to our next preview which is the Synergy Tag
Title match...let's take a look at The Shield versus The
Disciples!
First up we see The Shield's dominance, from winning the belts
from the old incarnation of the Ministry, the Wolfpack, to
defeating The British Invasion, The Mean Girls, The nWo, The
UnAmericans and The Steiners and Orton. Then...

this out...you see I haven't got a tag team to contend with The
Shield at Birth of Destruction yet. Now, on one hand I've got
the Snakes...so they're in the contendership match. On the other
hand, there's the Disciples, so they're in the contendership
match. Taker can pick any two he wants to put in...and while
that seems like a nice match...it requires a spark to it...that
spark will be that there will be a third team in this
match...the team of Daniel Bryan...and Dolph Ziggler!

> Both teams reacted well to this situation, with the numbers
looking better for them. It was Orton and Roberts that started
the better, Roberts took the two big men off their feet several
times before tagging Orton in, who hit them with a wide variety
of his signature moves, including a rope hung DDT for two.
>
> The two powerhouses came back though, punishing the lighter
opposition. Ryback hit a sick Meat Hook on Roberts for a close
two. The ending came though quite strangely, it was Roberts and
Batista in the ring and Batista whipped Roberts into Roberts
corner. Orton got the tag, unbeknownst to Batista or Ryback so
Batista charged at Roberts who moved, then sent Batista over to
his corner, where he tagged in Ryback unbeknownst to Orton or
Roberts, so Roberts charged at Batista only for Batista to move,
and catch the groggy Roberts for a Batista Bomb. However, Orton
was the legal man, and he caught Batista with the RKO. However,
Ryback was the legal man and he ran over Orton with the
Meathook. A few seconds later, Ryback was fired up and he nailed
a Shell Shocked to Orton for three.

We go back to the skybox with a staredown.
TG: An intriguing one...Cole, do you think we'll be able to see
a two on two match here or will other elements stop it from
happening that way?
Cole: Well, for the Shield... Since Ambrose isn't in the MITB
match, I'm sure he'll be at ringside. As for the Disciples, it
depends on how much pain Kofi and Cara will be after the MITB
match...
I do believe we'll have a chaotic ending out there.
TG: Ted, what do you think of the Batista and Ryback
partnership?
Jr: Look, on paper that is a good powerhouse team... But you
know my apprehension about Ryback... You also know what he did
in the past... So, I dunno if I should love or hate that
partnership.
TG: What about Reigns/Rollins Matt?
MM: They have just won tag team of the year and they are in the
stable of the year. Enough said.
TG: Who's your pick, Junior?
Jr: Can't go for the guy that kidnap my former girlfriend as
much as I know he was pressured to do it. Shield all the way!
TG: Matt?
MM: The champs.
TG: Yourself, Michael?
Cole: I can't see Ryback and Batista stopping the roll Roman and
Seth are on. Shield will retain!
TG: Thanks...now we go to a sit down interview recorded earlier
with Matt Striker...his guests? The British Invasion. Let's have
a look.

Re: Birth of Destruction VII Pre-Show
DIR By: ControversyPersonified
Date: March 8, 2015, 7:17 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
Striker is in a pool hall, sat in front of all members of The
Invasion who are sat with a beer ready.
MS: Guys, I'm joined by The British Invasion...thanks to agree
to do this, William. I know you have a lot to do...
WR: No problem.
MS: I'm going to start with you Adrian...how've you planned for
this? Both physically and mentally?
AN: Well, we've sorted of divided up responsibilities between us
before this one. I've been in charge of relaxing our minds.
Magnus here has been delivering nWo history lessons, just to
remind us how much we hate them. Williams has sorted out some
tapes to scout our opponents, Wade's been training us
physically, just like his old bare knuckle training and Mr.
Regal managed to call a favour from an old backstage hand he
used to know when he was GM and we managed to earlier get a look
around the War Games structure.
MS: Ok...Wade. Do you think having Elijah Burke in the match
changes things somewhat?
WB: No mate. It may change how things go, but it doesn't change
the outcome...however, I for one am glad Burke's in...why?
Because that's gave us the chance to add William in....
MS: Doug, you've made John Cena tap out before...can you do the
same again?
DW: No reason I can't make any of those d!cks submit. My STF I
used on Mr. Never Give Up was much more perfect than the
original, I don't mind repeating that when necessary.
MS: And Brutus...what will happen to The Invasion if,
hypothetically...you lost?
BM: Hypothetically, if we lost? We go down in history as the
greatest ever threat to anything either the nWo or HCW stood
for. Like we said...we've already ensured the nWo end. We've
driven so far down to their knees that even if they do spring
back up and beat us, it'll only take a little bit more from
someone else, and they'll be gone.
MS: And finally...what do you see happening to of the nWo if you
win William?
WR: Well...frankly I don't care. But seen as though you ask,
I'll tell you. Elijiah Burke will go back to being well away
from HCW and telling people that he is some sort of “HCW hall of
famer”. Hopefully Big Show retires when he realises there's
nothing for him here. Rock? Probably will shoot another few
truly awful pieces of cinematic drivel. Bret Hart might go and
look after his family, I hear there still not 100%. As for Cena,
well...he'll probably request to join The Invasion, or Jacobs
little group, or The Ministry and claim he's a changed
man....again.
MS: Any final comments?
WR: Long Live The Invasion.
We head back to Grisham...
TG: Thanks Matt for the interview. Our next preview is one of
the most intriguing contests we have this year at Birth of
Destruction VII. The International Championship will be defended
in a triple threat match as the champion, Jeff Hardy will have
two hungry opponents to deal with, in Daniel Bryan and Dolph
Ziggler. Let’s see how things have come to this point, starting
up with our last PPV, Colleseum…
The video package starts with footage of the International
Championship match between Dean Ambrose and Jeff Hardy.

led him to tonight. He then goes to the outside and stands on
the barricade, holding the title high above his head and the

a genius to determine that The Game wasn’t going to officiate
this with his full effort. Anyone who guessed that would have
been spot on, as he mainly spent his time leaning on the ropes,
responding to negative comments from fans and joining with
Ziggler in heckling Bryan and Hardy.
>
> Twice on big occasions, Triple H disregarded his duties as the
referee. Bryan nailed three diving headbutts in succession and
Hardy rolled out the ring. He was possibly out the ring for the
ring for a 10 count, but Triple H was only up to 3. Later,
Ziggler slid a Steel Chair in the ring. Ziggler made no effort
to follow the chair in the ring, nor did Triple H make any
effort to pick it up. The two men, engaging in a collar and
elbow tie up at the time, noticed the chair and looked at the
same time at it then to Triple H, who said the chair was free to
use.
>
> Neither did use it, and later on Hardy got the advantage and
managed to hit a Twist of Fate and pinned Bryan. Triple H
produced one of the slowest counts of all time, and Bryan kicked
out on exactly 2. This made Hardy annoyed and he proceeded to
argue with HHH. Eventually, when Bryan was up he charged at
Triple H and hit the Busaiku Knee from out of nowhere. Hardy had
a “Oh what the hell” look on his face, and he jumped up to the
top rope and nailed a Swanton Bomb. However, he was greeted by
Ziggler who nailed him over the skull with the International
Title. Bryan looked for another running knee, but Ziggler caught
him with a Super Kick and then set him up for the Zig Zag, which
he hit. He posed with The International Belt to a very mixed
reaction. We then went to a break.

> Bryan: Dolph is a tremendous athlete that has seen his ego
explode for the last few months. Especially ever since he
started having issues with Mick Foley... And adding the guy with
the biggest nose in the company as a manager doesn't help take
away the swelling his head has had.
>
> But he is a very dangerous man... And one that I simply don't
like. I would love to knock his head out of his a$$ and at Birth
of Destruction, I will do my best to make sure that he won't
leave Montreal with the International Title!
>
> RY: It's also well known that you have a friendship with the
current International Champion. How does it feel to also face
Jeff Hardy in this match?
>
> Bryan:Bryan: Like Jeff said earlier... Inside the ring, we're
all competitors and we'll do everything we need to do to win.
For some, like Dolph, we'll use nefarious tactics or help. For
guys like me and Jeff, we'll do everything within the rules to
win.
>
> I heard what Jeff said... I ain't going to be afraid of what
I'll see across the ring because I know that, if I would have
had the same things happening than what Jeff had these last few
months... I would have probably become him... So I can
understand the feeling... The main thing I hope to see is that
after the match, me and Jeff can go to the hotel, drink a bottle
of water and talk about how outstanding this match was. Win or
lose...
>
> RY: How are you going to approach such a match with all these
feelings inside your mind?
>
> Bryan: At the end of the day, I'm a professional wrestler. I
won't change my approach to this match even though I hate Dolph
and I respect Jeff... I will go out there... I will give my
best... And I'll do anything I can, in my power, to become the
new International Champion. At least, if I don't win, I don't
want to go backstage and tell myself that I didn't gave my all
out there. I k now Jeff feels the same thing. It's going to be
chaotic... It's going to be difficult... It's going to be
outstanding for the fans...

>
> Tenay: Who do you have the biggest problem with?
>
> DZ: That's easy...Daniel Bryan. I don't like Hardy though. I
don't like the way he's been given chance after chance after
chance, not just in HCW, not just in the wrestling world but in
general life too. I don't like people that don't take second
chances, let alone people that don't take third, fourth, fifth
or sixth chances...but Daniel Bryan really gets under my skin.
He's like a 6 year old child that is jealous because I've got
more sweeties than him. He's an over rated, useless goat that
gets on most people's nerves.
>
> Tenay: Now, you are promising to take The International Title
from Hardy and if you do you'll have a rematch with Hardy...now,
assuming you were to win that rematch, what would you say would
be next for both men? Do you think either man could ever win The
Universal Title?
>
> DZ: No...I don't think that would ever happen. For Bryan, not
a chance. Hardy could get lucky one day. See, if this was just a
one on one match, Daniel Bryan vs Jeff Hardy for the
International Title at Birth of Destruction Seven? Hardy wins.
Hardy wins all day long. Say it was just a standard filler match
with both men on a Collision, then it would be close. See, both
men at normal times are midcarders, but when a big match comes
along, Hardy steps into an upper midcarder. Bryan doesn't, Bryan
is consistenly average. See on a normal day, I don't mind
admitting it, upper midcarder. But then when a big match comes
along I'm a main eventer. Why am I just an upper midcarder at
normal times I hear you ask? Simple, it is hard to believe but I
am only human and being as good as I am takes a lot of
energy...do I want to dehabilitate myself against someone like
Drake Younger or Sami Zayn? No. Not at all. See, Scott Steiner's
just crowned himself "Mr. Birth of Destruction." Personally I
think that's bull**** but we'll let him have his moment as he
achieved quite the feat last year...in response to his new
nickname I'd like to propose that my new nickname be not "Mr.
Birth of Destruction" and instead be "Mr. PPV" as I am at my
best six, seven, eight times a year and not just once. I've been
pinned twice on a HCW PPV in just over five years...let that
sink in. 2 losses in 5 years. That's not a record the afore
mentioned Andre the Giant can boast, not even the great Brock
Lesnar can top that and certainly neither of my opponents for
Birth of Destruction can.
>
> So in light of your question, Hardy could be one day Universal
Champion, but he's getting a bit past it now so he needs to be
quick. Hardy could beat me on a very good day for him and a poor
day for me if I was Universal Champion. As for Daniel Bryan, if
he ever got to a contenders spot which I doubt very much he
would, he would lose...badly. Say I wasn't the champion, who's
he supposed to try and beat? Scott Steiner...The Recliner hurts
a hell of a lot more than the LeBell lock...Cody Rhodes...don't
make me laugh. And if I was champ he wouldn't want to face me,
The Show Off, Dolph Ziggler after his display on Collision where
I took him out...he got took out badly by me there and he
wouldn't want that if we were to go one on one...
--- End Quote ---
The video package ends with all three men staring at each other
and then the sight of the International Championship.
TG: That could very well be the match of the night… It has the
potential to, at least. I’ll start with you, Matt… You’ve been
in the ring several times with Daniel Bryan… What makes him so
dangerous inside a wrestling ring?
MM: He moves around the ring just as quick or quicker than even
these two individuals...plus he knows every submission move
under the sun. That gives him a couple of options and an
advantage.
TG: Ted… You did compete against Dolph Ziggler in your storied
in-ring career… Behind that bravado he usually shows… How good
is he?
Jr: He's good... Very athletic and confident of his abilities.
Sometimes too confident but he's a tough man to beat when his
mind is in it. And these days, it is the case.
TG: Michael, you had the chance to call the match that saw Jeff
win the International Title. You also got the chance to call
both matches he had against HBK, the man who brought him to his
absolute limits. Will we see a different Jeff Hardy out there?
Cole: Maybe a little more aggressive version of him… But Jeff
Hardy will still be the Charismatic Enigma… I say that the fact
that he doesn’t need to be involved in the fall to lose his
title will force him to be a little more cerebral that he may be
used to… But we’ll see the same Jeff Hardy than we saw in his
battles with Shawn and Ambrose.
TG: Who do you see finishing the match with the title?
Cole: Odds don’t favor the champion… I can see all three guys
coming close but Ziggler’s last words and the fact that Hunter
will be at ringside kinda tells me that Dolph will find a way to
regain his International Title, as much as I would like for him
not to.
TG: Ted, your pick?
Jr: I would love to see Jeff regain his title... I was probably
the happiest guy when he defeated Shawn inside the Cage of
Death. I want the best for him and I think he can retain the
title.
TG: And Matt?
MM: Well, my head says Ziggler...but I'll go for Bryan, he
deserves a break...
TG: Thanks boys, but now it's touring schedule time!

TG: Well, I can't wait to see some more of the world but for
now...it's now time for another preview...and this one's been
brewing for a while. Sting vs Undertaker in a Buried Alive
match...let's look at this one...

> The Wolfpack (Sin Cara and Sting) vs Cody Rhodes and Dolph
Ziggler
>
> The Wolfpack got a nice reaction from the crowd…Rhodes didn’t
and Ziggler didn’t either, hardly surprising. Infact, in the
Wolfpack entrance something was noticeable. Sting, wasn’t quite
Sting. No facepaint, no baseball bat and no shouts to the crowd.
It was noticeable in the match too, Sting wasn’t quite all
there. He was a big presence, but never seemed energetic or
interested, usually tagging Sin Cara in soon after about thirty
seconds in the ring. Rhodes and Ziggler, while being friends
aren’t exactly a polished tag team but the individual brilliance
saw them through.
>
> Sin Cara was energetic, and even hit his flipping STO on both
men at separate occasions. When it was Rhodes, Ziggler came in
and broke the pin up, when it was Ziggler, HHH put his foot on
the rope.
>
> The end came when Rhodes and Sting were the legal men. Rhodes
was on top and hit a Silver Spoon DDT before looking for the
Beautiful Disaster kick which he hit. He quickly went for a pin,
but in came Sin Cara to break up the pin, however Rhodes got off
and Sin Cara ended up Elbowing Sting. Ziggler was in by then
though and nailed Sin Cara with a Super Kick that sent Sin Cara
rolling out of the ring. Ziggler returned to his corner, and
Rhodes looked like he was preparing for something. Ten seconds
later we saw what it was as Rhodes bounced off the opposite
ropes to Sin Cara and flew like a bullet through the second and
top rope to take out the now standing Sin Cara, however he also
tagged Ziggler in on the way by, and in he came, measuring the
downed Sting, who got up but was shot back down again with a Zig
Zag. Ziggler pins with his old 2009 style and got the three
count.

souls into joining his so called "ministry of darkness"and for
what?? So they can brutally attack people that don't agree with
them?? A few months ago.. Undertaker, hung me high above this
very ring and essentially crucified me... That was a dispicable
act perpatrated by a dispicable group of cowards... As I sat at
home watching them on my TV week after week I had one thought on
my mind... I wanted revenge.. I wanted the Undertaker dead...
And I decided that I was gonna stop at nothing until he was
destroyed.. But deep down in my heart I knew there was a
problem.. Was I willing to cross the lines that needed to be
crossed to put the Undertaker away.. I am a Christian after all.
I have one true lord and he would not want me to seek revenge..
I was torn.. I did not know how I was supposed to proceed.. I

is you don't have to stones to do what is nescasary. I am the
son of Darkness.. Empty threats do not bother me or my
Disciples. I am the chosen one.. To beat me, you are gonna have
to cross lines no mortal man will cross.. You stand no chance
against me boy...
>
> While Undertaker is talking the Disciples have made their ways
into the ring and are standing right behind Sting. Sting doesn't
notice them at first but when he does he again threatens to push
the button..
>
> Sting: Back up, All of you back off.. Or I will push this
button right now and bury paul bearer alive..
> Undertaker: Prove it..
>
> The Disciples and The Undertaker now surround Sting. Sting
looks like he is about to push the button but he can't do it and
throws the remote down and goes on the attack. But the numbers
game quickly catches up with him. Sting is on the wrong side of
a beat down until he grabs his trust bat from underneath the
table and just as he begining to build up some momentum, out of
nowhere Ryback hits a huge meathook clothesline on him and Sting
is out cold. Undertaker then picks up the contract off the
ground and signs it, then he spots the remote and grabs it and
looks up at the Titan-Tron and sees his father Paul Bearer in
the bottom of the grave. He motions for the Disciples to pick
Sting up off the ground and turn his attention to the
Titan-Tron. He hesitates at first but then gets a look of rage
on his face as he pushes the button and the Dirt gets dumped
into the grave right on top of Paul Bearer. Undertaker then
grabs Sting around the throat and hits a massive choke slam.
Undertaker motions for the Disciples to grab the steel steps
then after they bring in the steps he tells them to exit the
ring. The Undertaker then hits three consecutive Tombstones on
Sting right on top of the Steel Steps.. He then stands over
Sting and grabs a mic.
>
> Undertaker: I loved paul and I just burried him, I hate you,
can you imagine the punishment and torture that awaits you at
BOD.. Sting at BOD I'm not just gonna beat you, I am gonna take
your life and you will truly REST IN PEACE....
>
--- End Quote ---
We hear the chorus of The End by Jim Johnston as we see the two
brawling then a stare down in the ring.
TG: I can't wait for this. It's time to go to our panel for this
one...
Do you see the Disciples of Darkness staying out of this one
Cole?
Cole: Depends on what order Taker gave them... If he wants to
deal this by himself, yes they will stay out of this one... If
not, expect them to do their best to get involved.
TG: Ted, what makes Sting so impressive in the ring?
Jr: Athleticism and experience. He has plenty of both. Add a
touch of craziness in his approach and he's unpredictable to
figure.
TG: This is tailor made for Taker isn't it Matt?
MM: Yeah it is. Also helps that he's got four men waiting at his
beckoning call should he need them.
TG: Do you too see the Deadman winning this Cole?
Cole: Because five are better than one... Yes, I see Taker
burying Sting alive!
TG: Mr. Blueprint?
MM: Got to be Taker...just got to be.
TG: Who is it for you Junior?
Jr: It's going to be one dream match out there. I think that
Sting will somehow find a way to defeat all odds and bury the
Deadman alive.
TG: Ok, thanks for that guys...now, we've got a Battle Royale
for you! Number one contendership on the line!

Battle Royal #1 Contender Match
Pinfalls and Submissions are the only way to eliminate a
wrestler. The winner gets to face the Global Champion in his
next title defense.
Stacy Kiebler vs Bill Goldberg vs Brodie Lee vs AJ Lee vs Rusev
vs Miz vs Prince Devitt
AJ and Devitt got the biggest pops of all seven wrestlers while
Stacy and Goldberg got the most boos. For the first thirty
minutes, no eliminations were done, as the rules made sure that
people were only to be eliminated by pinfall and submission.
Brodie Lee and Goldberg battled it out on the outside until
Jacobs’s monster pushed Goldberg face-first into the ringpost.
He then throws Goldberg back inside, follows in and then hits
the Cut-throat Driver for the three count and the first
elimination.
Bill Goldberg is eliminated at 31:47
Unfortunately for Brodie, he didn’t see Miz sneak in from behind
and hit Skull-Crushing Finale for a quick elimination.
Brodie Lee is eliminated at 32:22
For then over 13 minutes, nothing much happened until AJ caught
Miz with a spinning heel kick for the three count and the
elimination.
The Miz is eliminated at 46:29
Stacy then attacked AJ and looked poised to hit the Kiebler Kick
but she got caught by Devitt, who then hit Prince’s Throne for
the three count and the elimination to a good pop.
Stacy Kiebler is eliminated at 47:04
That left Devitt, AJ and Rusev as the last three remaining.
Rusev dominated for a minute or so but AJ brilliantly countered
a Samoan Drop attempt into a sunset flip and shocked the Russian
Super-Athlete for the three count.
Rusev is eliminated at 49:28
AJ and Devitt exchanged an handshake before battling it out. AJ
got the better early on and got a two count after a flying
crossbody. She then tried for the Black Widow but Devitt blocked
it and then hit an enziguiri to the face of Lee. He then went up
top and hit a diving double knee stomp to the ribs of AJ before
covering and getting the three count!
AJ Lee is eliminated at 53:52
Winner and getting a future Global Title shot: Prince Devitt
Match Rating: ***1/2
Cole: A great win for the young Devitt!
Tenay: He will now face the winner of the Global Championship
match at some point after BOD VII!
JBL: And with all due respect, he’ll have his work cut out
against either the Mastodon or the Rattlesnake…
Devitt celebrated with his manager, Ms. Bordeaux, to a good pop
from the fans.
TG: That was a great Battle Royal… Pretty long, though… Anyway,
our next contest is a mainstay of Birth of Destruction… The
Annual Money in the Bank Ladder match! Nine men and one woman
will compete in this match which will see one of them grab the
briefcase which will allow the winner to cash it in anytime,
anywhere and for any title for the next year.
The video package starts with footage of how Shane Douglas got
in the match, by leading Team Fusion to victory in the Brand of
the Year Match.
--- Quote from: pat2007 link ---

> Shane: I can care less if I'm concussed or not... That slimmy
little bastard will learn what plenty of people, including our
current Universal Champion, have learned before...
>
> You don't **** with the Franchise! And I ain't leaving
Montreal without that ****ing briefcase and as soon as I get
it... Cody Rhodes... Your days are numbered...
--- End Quote ---
We then see Taz beating Rick Steiner to gain his spot in the
match.
--- Quote from: pat2007 link ---
> Taz: But my main focus is on winning Money in the Bank. If my
memory is not mistaken, last year, I also was in that match and
I got taken out by Scott Steiner, the man who won the briefcase
that night... This year, it ain't happening. To all those who
are in this match...

> Homicide: Jimmy... You gringo bastard will go down by my
hands... Don't think I've forgotten you taking my spot in the
Battle Royal... I do have a good memory...
--- End Quote ---
We then see Jimmy Jacobs defeating Stacy Kiebler for a spot.

--- Quote from: matthewwinter link ---

> Jacobs: Kofi, it's funny. You yourself, you are a part of your
own, we will say, cult...but you're following the wrong man,
both you and Cara. And you both may have your eyes on the prize,
but, funny that, neither of you will be able to coexist. Why do
you think I never entered Brodie in this match? Because at the
end of the day, there is only one person you can trust, and that
is yourself. And the only person I think about is me.
>
> You look at people like Ken Shamrock, and you know what, I
like the way this man thinks. Seizing the opportunity he's been
given. But, poor him, an opportunity means nothing when his
inevitable loss will come and he'll be pushed down the pecking
order. Oh, you don't believe me? Look what happened to Shane
Douglas. After he fell to us, he's begun his journey to the
brink of nothingness. Oh, still don't believe me? Homicide tried
revenge, and, yes, failed miserably. Taz, Orton, Wilson, all of
them will come up short. None of them have the main event
potential I have. None of them will be able to overcome and
seize that briefcase. You're all stepping stones. I've got cards
up my sleeve, and none of you will see it coming.
--- End Quote ---
We then see Kofi Kingston defeating Cesaro to gain his spot.

>
> Kofi : A special handbag and a over rated and not to mention
overpriced scarf will not help you climb to the top of the

could better used. Maybe you could buy this book. It's called
Money in the Bank for dummies. I'm already sending one to Jimmy
if you want a copy.
>
> As for you Orton I'm not out of my league. I've been a CDM
champion and I've already been in a Money in the Bank match. If
anything this is my time. The deadman hasn't risen again to be
disappointed. I'll be taking the briefcase back to him. I'll be
Mr Money in the Bank.

there to assure my win, because it's just inevitable. And that
beautiful golden briefcase will just be the newest accessory to
my million dollar wardrobe. In fact, I have the cutest skirt
that'll go with it.

"potential", but I've main evented more shows in HCW than you
have probably had matches in your career. Shamrock, they say
you're the most dangerous man alive? Well I've got a punt with
your name on it. Taz, if you could actually reach my neck to
choke me, you might be a threat. Kofi, Cara, you guys are out
of your league and I'll send you both back to the Deadman empty
handed. Torrie, you're a cheap knock off of the Beautiful
People. Homicide probably will have already left HCW again by
the time BoD comes around. Shane.... I won't lie, you're the
stiffest competition I have. But don't think I'm not ready for
you. I will become Mr. Money in the Bank and none of you can
stop me.

We then finally see Ken Shamrock beating Goldberg in his first
match in HCW to gain the ninth spot in the match.

kinda childish. The one thing I know is that when Money in the

make a name for themselves and gaining an opportunity that
rarely arises...
>

A chance to get a title match very early in my HCW career.
>
> This is why I will win Money in the Bank... Because I dunno
when such an opportunity will come to me. I must make the most
of it.

TG: We now know who will be the final entrant in this match as
we saw Sami Zayn win an outstanding Triple Threat match. So,
guys, we’ll make it quick this time around. I just wanna know
your thoughts on this match and your pick. I’ll start with you,
Matt.
MM:
TG: And you, Ted?
Jr: It's going to be chaos at his finest. Usually,
multi-wrestlers ladder matches have a lot of big moments and a
lot of pain. But I think this will be the night where the Viper
returns to his dominant spot. There's a lot of hungry people in
that match but there is no one like the Viper.
TG: And finally you, Michael?
Cole: We have everything in this match… We have the veterans in
Orton, Douglas and Taz. We have hungry daredevils in Kofi/Cara
and Zayn. We even have a woman and a fighter who’s in his second
match in the company. Anything can happen in HCW… And that
cannot be more true than in that kind of match. I know he
probably isn’t 100% healthy but I can see Shane winning this
match because of how hard he worked to gain the Universal
Championship and how tough it was to lose it. He’ll be hungrier
than anyone else. But anything can happen.

TG: We’ll now go to Renee Young who has a guest at her side. Up
to you, Renee!
Renee has none other than The Coach with her!
Coach: Hi Renee.
RY: Hey Coach! This is your first Birth of Destruction! Are you
looking forward to it?
Coach: Of course Renee! I can't wait. We've got some amazing
matches tonight and it's good to see. Every match has got the
potential to be great.
RY: Any match in particular?
Coach: No...they all look good. You've got the sheer emotion
involved in the war games, matches like the International,
Global and Synergy titles on the line which are loaded with
talent, and the sheer brutality of the Buried Alive and the CDM
title match...
RY: What about the Universal Title being Collision exclusive?
Coach: Is that my phone? Sorry Renee I have to go.
We go back to the skybox with people looking confused.
TG: Well, thanks Renee...now it's time for our final preview
though...and it's the Main Event of the evening. The greatest
Universal Champion ever will face a man that achieved arguably
the greatest feat ever...this one goes all the way back to Birth
of Destruction Six!
At that very event, we see Rhodes defeating Cesaro and Steiner
winning the briefcase. Then we go to The Draft show of 2013:

charge at the Invasion but that damn Paul Burchill comes back
and beats on Rhodes. He does a few body shots and nails Rhodes
with a Dangerous Buster before shouting swearwords at him. He
leaves the ring as The Invasion applaud from the stage.
>

they like Steiner, but because they know what’s about to go
down. Steiner comes on the stage with one crutch on his right
side and the briefcase on the left. He looks at Rhodes, chucks
his crutch away and sprints down to the ring. Clearly his Ankle
is in good shape, and he hands the briefcase to the referee.
>
> JR: NO WAY STEINER’S CASHING IN!
> JBL: THIS IS BRILLIANT, WE’RE ABOUT TO MAKE HISTORY HERE IN
LONDON!
>
> Rhodes uses the ropes to get up and charges at Steiner, but
gets hit with a Belly to Belly and the crowd cheers. Steiner
screams at the crowd to get them riled up, which succeeds, and
retrieves the title from the outside and poses with it outside,
before seeing Rhodes is pulling himself up in the corner.
Steiner slides back in and works on Rhodes in the corner,
punching away at Cody. He hooks Rhodes’ legs and puts him on the
top rope and hits a classic FrankenSteiner to the crowds
delight, and he starts doing pressups, pointing at the crowd and
flexing his muscles. He stands in the corner posing, waiting for
Rhodes to get up, which he does, and Steiner runs at him full
speed and nails him with a Steinerline. He is still posing,
going on his knees and flexing his muscles and doing press ups
for about a minute. Steiner is going mad, and Rhodes is back
up…but Steiner scoops him straight up and hits a Steiner
Screwdriver. The title reign of Cody Rhodes is as good as
terminal.
>
> ONE!!!
> TWO!!!
> THR-RHODES IS OUT!
>
> All Steiner’s mad energy has turned to shock. He shakes his
head in disbelief. He faces the opposite way in the corner and
takes a few seconds to discuss strategy with himself. When he
returns to Rhodes’ downed body, he gets rolled up by Rhodes!
>
> ONE!!
> TWO!!
> STEINER KICKS OUT!!
>
> Both men get up at once and Steiner goes for a kick on Cody,
but Rhodes does a leg takedown and locks in the Figure Four.
Steiner is in a lot of pain – maybe the Ankle is still bad?
Steiner has his shoulders down and the referee counts to two
before Steiner gets the shoulder up. Steiner sits up and looks
straight into Cody Rhodes’ eyes. He says “You’re end is near
kid” and with that passes out. The referee counts to three and
Rhodes has done the impossible and retained his title.
>

hits the ref with his elbow, thus sending him to the ground.
Steiner wrestles the pipe from the refs grip but Rhodes is up
behind him and he nails Cross Rhodes! He goes for the cover but
of course there’s no referee in place! The fans chant to ten
before Rhodes gets up, goes to check on the referee, and seeing
that Steiner is stirring Rhodes springs at him and goes for The
Beautiful Disaster Kick!
>

possibly the most popular professional wrestler of all time,
Stone Cold Steve Austin. And yeah sure, I lost, but I took
Austin to his absolute limits and would go on to claim this
*points at the Universal Championship* prize just a few months
later.
>
> *Cody looks at his Universal Title in absolute silence for
about 10 seconds before turning back to the camera*
>
> You wanna know what people remember? When I solidified my
spot as The Face of HCW, singlehandedly toppling quite possibly
the greatest threat this company has ever seen, the
Un-Americans, meanwhile successfully defending my Universal
Championship, in the main event at, you guessed it, Birth of
Destruction VI!
>
> *Cody just smirks, clutching his title closely*
>
> You wanna know what people WILL remember? Me, Cody Rhodes,
the Franchise of HCW, besting you in the middle of that ring,
just like I do every time we get in the ring together, and
snapping your pathetic excuse of a streak.
>
> *Cody sighs, seeming like he has lifted a weight off his
shoulders*
>
> I've got a match to prepare for, now get outta my locker room!

--- End Quote ---
The package ends with footage of all mens main moves, The
Recliner, The SSD, The Steiner-Line, The Cross Rhodes, The
Alabama Slam, The Figure Four...before finally seeing the two
face to face in the ring. We head on back to the skybox.
TG: Well, it's our final analysis to do...What's going through
the mind of Scott Steiner do you think Mr. DiBiase?
Jr: He must still be pretty confident but I am positive that
there are some doubts creeping in... Cody Rhodes has been so
dominant in the last year, including beating him twice. That
would creep doubts into any opponent of Cody... He isn't any
different.
TG: Same question Matt but for Rhodes?
MM: He'll be confident...possibly over confident. I hope that he
doesn't think that just because he's beat him twice it doesn't
automatically mean he's won this one.
TG: Cole, who's walking away with the biggest prize?
Cole: Can't see the champion losing this belt... I dunno who can
do it, seriously...
TG: Who's your pick Ted?
Jr: I gotta go with Cody. I do hope that Steiner pushes him even
further than anyone else... But Cody has been working to become
the greatest champion of all-time and I don't think Scott has
been working as hard, as much as he probably did.
TG: And finally you Matt?
MM: I'll say Rhodes too...
TG: Ok, well in that case we're done. Thanks for tuning in and
we will see you for the main show!
We go to credits.
