       Anyone here from New York? i heard it was bad up there and the
       national guard was called in and everything.  Heard they been
       out of power for 2 days now ever since a power transformer blew
       up

       I am from New york and my power and internet worked as perfect
       as when there was no storm.

       We felt it a bit in Montreal .... we had some rain and wind, but
       nothing too severe

       I had some 80 MPH wind gusts and a lot of rain that covered the
       street, but nothing really was flooded or destroyed
