Lord of Fail's Weekly Power Rankings: Week 1
By: Lord of Fail Date: November 19, 2012, 11:13 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
These are the power rankings.
Every team will be given a rank and a grade.
Note the the rank and grade and not based only on points and
goals (although they are factors)
So, with that, lets begin!
1. SWAG WEATHERMEN 2-1-0-0 , 6 PTS GF: 13 GA: 6 GD: 7
GRADE: A
The Swag Weathermen surprised everybody by doing so well as an
expansion team. With strong offense and good defense, very few
teams can stand up to them.
2. CUBA CYCLONES 2-1-0-0 , 6 PTS GF: 10 GA: 6 GD: 4
GRADE: A-
The Cuba Cyclones have changed drastically from Season 1,
improving their roster through signs and trades. They obtained a
key win on Day 3 vs the Weathermen, putting the 2 teams in a
deadlock for 1st place in HCD East. These 2 teams are going to
be exciting to watch as the season progresses, and should they
meet in the playoffs, an epic battle will no doubt occur.
3. INEVITABLE STRIKERS 2-1-0-0 , 6 PTS GF: 14 GA: 21 GD: -7
GRADE: B
The Inevitable Strikers is a team filled with potential.
However, the team is not seeing as much success as it can
because of attendance problems. The offense is quite good
although the team needs better defense.
4. SQUIRTLE SQUAD 2-1-0-0 . 6 PTS GF:24 GA:10 GD: 14
GRADE: B-
The Squirtle Squad is a team that has a lot of potential, but
lacks chemistry. They lost their first game 5-0 by forfeit of
ending the game 2:30 in, and barely managed to edge the Night
Hawks 6-4 on Day 2, even with a 3v2 advantage, However, they
turned it around on Day 3 with a 18-1 win playing 3v2 vs the
Mandibles, showing some signs of chemistry and a more structured
defense. This team will have to work hard if it wants to
succeed, but it certainly has the potential.
5. DETROIT RECESSION 2-1-0-0 , 6 PTS GF: 35 GA: 12 GD: 23
GRADE: C
The Recession are a good team. However, they need to perform
better as a team and start attending games. The team as a whole
has yet to play a legal 3v3 game, and it so far has begun to
show some chemistry in the games against the Strikers and the
Mandibles. However, both those games were 3v2, and if they were
played 3v3, things would have been different. In short, the
recession have good offense, but are lacking on defense.
6. GOLDEN SNIPERS 1-2-0-0 , 3 PTS GF: 5 GA: 8 GD: -3
GRADE: C+
The Golden Snipers, as a team, need to play like one. They have
very good offense and defense, but their greatest enemy is
themselves, as they shot themselves in the foot by not showing
up for their game on Day 3. Through Day 2 however, the GS were a
very good team offensively, but allow for too many chances
defensively. They need to start blocking crosses and crowding
their net more when back on defense.
7. NIGHT HAWKS 1-2-0-0 , 3 PTS GF: 10 GA: 12 GD: -2
GRADE: D
The Night Hawks, if they want to win, must start attending
games. They have played every game 2v3, and only won on Day 3 on
a forfeit because the other team did not show up at all. Overall
the team is not particularly bad, but they must pay attention to
the schedule and know when to attend. The GM of this team must
also ensure that he has 3 players ready for every game starting
Week 2, or the Night Hawks will find themselves forfeiting many
games.
8. MANDARIN MANDIBLES 0-3-0-0 , 0 PTS GF: 6 GA: 43 GD: -37
GRADE: F
It seems than the Mandibles have given up. They have yet to show
up to a game with more than 2 players, the players have no heart
(they seem to enjoy scoring on themselves) and their GM is
nowhere to be found. If this team is to succeed in season 2, it
will require a complete overhaul, with new players being signed,
and showing up to games ready to play the whole game and not
leave at halftime when they are losing because they are playing
2v3. The players themselves are not worse than the other players
in Haxball Club Divisionals, but rather the team cannot seem to
come together as a team and show up. The team needs more than 3
players so that they can actually have 3 per game. At this rate,
the Mandibles will have the highest number of forfeits due to
lack of players by the end of the season.

Actually lolled, seing as though 2 of the 4 gols NH scored were
due to me and finn lagging, giving them an open net. Plus, it
was FOUR TO ZERO, you said the OG by frank wouldn't count. And
btw, CC really don't have a much better team, ur 2 best players,
JJ and McGrupp were on your team last year.
You're almost as biased as cookie, except ur being srs.

Cookies ranks aren't biased. These rankings are only hard to
argue because its been 1 hectic week. This will probably all be
proven wrong or right by you and your team, so instead of
arguing over someone's opinion put your team on top yourself.
