Important Season 4 Changes

Here are some changes that I will put into the league for Season
4:
For now I only have 3 major changes, but be sure to check this
thread often as I will add to this list whenever I have more
ideas!
Anybody who has ideas, feel free to PM me, and if they are good
ideas I will consider adding them to this list!
1) Even though I am the Commissioner, my goal is to do
practically nothing for Season 4. This is because I will not be
here for the majority of Season 5 as I have summer plans. I have
already chosen an Interim Commissioner, and I want to make sure
this league can operate without me so that I can come back from
summer and find the league still organised. Therefore, we will
need a few more staff members to help edit the team pages. The
only thing that I have done on a consistent basis in Season 3 is
editing the Standings, Schedules and Gameday ezBlocks, and any
staff member can do that as it does not take a very long time.
2) Perhaps the biggest change, and by far the one I am most
excited about is the integration of the HCD Cup. Let me explain
what this is. Basically, we have the Divisional Cups for each
Division, and then there is the HCD Cup. All Teams, regardless
of Division, partake in this Tournament. Teams in higher
Divisions will get byes to later rounds. Matchups will be
determined randomly and announced each week. How the scheduling
will work is as follows: Sundays will now be HCD Cup Games.
Therefore, to accommodate the 3-day per week schedule, games
will now be played on Thursdays. If both teams in a thursday
game are not playing in that week's HCD Cup games, then they can
move their game to Sunday. I am aware that this interferes with
SPHB, and so therefore this whole thing is a test. I feel that
we need to do this test now when we have fewer teams as it will
be harder to integrate with a large amount of teams. Each
matchup shall be a best of 3 series. The Quarter Finals and Semi
Finals are best of 5 series. The Finals are a best of 7 series.
The Finals take place after the Divisional Finals.
Note: I will have it work out the Cup schedule to have the same
amount of rounds as game weeks. Also, byes are determined by
final placement in the prior season. If a team is promoted or
relegated, they are considered to be in first or last of their
new divisions (promoted teams are considered last and relegated
teams are considered first)
Also, if teams want, they can play their Thursday Game on Sunday
if they can find a host and an official - note that any HCD
Staff member can Officiate a game.
I will oversee the whole process. If you want an example of how
this is to work, look up the FA Cup - I plan on running the HCD
Cup in a similar manner.
3) The Draft (Reminded by Cole72)
Oh boy... lets just say i did not like how the Season 3 draft
went.
Here is how we do the Season 4 Draft: All players enter the
Draft Pool of the Division of which their team finishes in
(after promotion / relegation)
Division A Draft goes first, they MUST pick from the Division A
Draft Pool. They can only pick from the Division B Draft Pool if
the Division A Draft Pool is exhausted. All new players who
enter the league immediately go into the Division B Draft Pool.
This season will be a test towards this new system as I think
that it will work better.
Any feedback on these ideas would be much appreciated!

I think Alexa means you forgot to mention that for ssn 4, there
will be a separate draft for Division a and b, and all the
players that were in a division A team (including players on
promoted teams) would be in the division a draft, and vice
versa.
this is just what you told me irl a few weeks ago, don't know if
you changed your mind. :/

for the draft, leave everyone available, that's fair to all, the
system you suggest is reidiculously pointless and stupid
also don't be that faggot that moves games to thursdays, if you
really want the HCD cup then you make the games on a saturday,
then the following sunday, bye week, then the following
saturday, then end it the next sunday
takes it through a 5 week scehdule, and we don't have to play on
