Why is this league so autistic? Answer in this thread.

So pretty much ive been getting a lot of crap lately saying
pretty much that this league is autistic, that stuff never gets
done, etc, general complaining,
Let, me remind you all we are extremely understaffed.
We only have 4 staff.
alexa manages the robot, membergroups, trades, signs and cuts,
team rosters and waivers.
blockade does all of division b team pages and stats
slap does all of division a team pages and stats
i edit the ezblocks, and give suspensions / red cards / yellow
cards
If you are complaining that stuff isnt getting done, why dont
you volunteer to do things so they get done faster then?
you people do not understand how long it takes to do stats and
team pages
i spend over 15 hours each week last season updating all of the
team pages, ezblocks and stats with no one to help me
now that we have 3 staff on it, we each spend around 5 hours
editing it all - so stuff gets done quite slowly
it dosent help that match reports arent done on time, so stats
cannot be completed on time, nor can team pages
please, just everybody do your part.
GMs, do the march reports on time - that would help a lot
also, things like today happened because we had nobody show up
to the last 2 gm meetings.
i know that stuff gets done late - and because im the
commissioner i take most of the blame and complaints from people
about it
all im trying to say is that if you dont like how things are run
or things are updated too slow for you, either volunteer so it
gets done faster, or just dont bother me with it - i have enough
to deal with as it is.
from now on suspensions will be done in the following manner:
after a game weekend has passed, any game official who deemed an
act worthy of suspension shall post so in the GM forum.
the GMs shall vote
if they vote "yes", the divisional commissioner shall decide the
length of the ban and post in the played defense board.
the player, and only the player on trial has 48 hours to defend
himself, then i will make a final ruling.
if you are not under trial, please do not post in the player
defense board, that just makes things autistic.
im trying to make things work here - and im making a statement
that i will not tolerate autism any longer
this is no longer a joke league in which ppl can do whatever
they want - if you do something dumb you will pay for it.
we are on all-star break now, so i have some time to clean some
things up in the league
if you want to help with editing team pages, please pm me
if you are not willing to help fix the problems in the league or
do not have ideas as to how to fix them, please do not just pm a
complaint to me - its just not worth it.

I suppose we should have an organized method of amending the
rules where all members can vote.
Proposed method:
* Create a subforum under the rules named Proposed Amendments
* Anyone can propose an amendment (or maybe this should be
limited to GMs and above?).
* In order for an amendment to be considered, the amendment must
not conflict with any other rules/amendments unless the proposed
amendment is meant to replace/repeal a previous rule/amendment.
* Every amendment proposed must have its own forum post and its
own poll. Polls are simply a yes or no vote. Forum posts must
state three things: the purpose of the amendment, what (if any)
the amendment will be repealing/replacing, and the amendment
itself.
* Members will have exactly one week to decide on the amendment.
A two thirds majority (of all those who voted) is required for
the amendment to pass.
* If an amendment does not pass, it may not be proposed again
for the rest of the season.
That way everyone has a say in how the league should be run. It
makes sense because without the support of all the members, this
league couldn't exist.

I think that instead of being approved/disapproved by the
commissioner, the commissioner can approve/veto the amendment.
If the amendment gets vetoed, it must be sent back and either
changed or voted over again by everyone. If there is a 3/4ths
majority vote for all those who voted, the veto is overridden.
That's how the US govt. works (basically) when it comes to
whether the president approves or vetoes a bill.
