Haxfootball Signups + Rules

games are played 4v4
there are FOUR 5 minute quarters
the time limit shall be set for 6 minutes to allow for a final
play
INTERCEPTIONS ARE IN EFFECT
to intercept, you must kick the ball between YOU FG POSTS
EACH TEAM MUST HAVE 1 QB, 1 RB AND 2 WRs, CLEARLY MARKED BY
THEIR AVATARS
players may change positions mid-game by changing their avatars
players defending must stay 10 yards back from the QB or it is
an automatic 1st down [crowding]
standard haxfootball rules - Match Reports may or may not be
written - it depends on whether LoF can make it or not

i volunteer for captain, ints are when a defender hits the ball
thru the post(ball can only be touched once for it to happen). I
can post legit rules

General
1. Touching the ball gives you the ball on offense/special
teams.
2. To tackle a player, the defense must touch the person who has
the ball. There are NO broken tackles.
3. A player is considered out of bounds when they touch the
white out of bounds line. It does NOT matter how much of them
is touching the line.
4. Game is played 4 versus 4.
5. To score a TD the offensive team must have a player with the
ball get into the end zone.
Kickoffs
1. A player on the receiving team will obtain possession of the
ball when he is the first player on his team to touch the ball
after the kicking team has kicked it.
2. It is considered a touch back if the ball goes out of the
back of the end zone, this includes touching the red pyline.
3. Illegal procedure on the kicking team is when the ball goes
out of bounds before it reaches the end zone or touches a player
and the ball will be moved to the 40 yard line.
4. If the returner does not exit the end zone and he is touched
by the kicking team while in the end zone, it is ruled a
touchback. However, if he does exit the end zone and goes back
into the end zone and gets touched, it is ruled a safety.
Punts
1. When a team decides to punt the ball, the receiving team must
go back into the opposing end zone and wait for the ball to be
punted.
2. There is no penalty for kicking the ball out of bounds.
3. A touch back is when the ball goes out of the back of the end
zone, including touching the red pyline.
4. The receiving team does not have to return, but the ball can
be downed by the punting team by touching the ball before the
receiving team does or before it goes out of bounds.
5. There are no fair catches.
FG
1. If a player on the defensive team touches the kick before it
has stopped or before it has gone out of bounds, the FG is
automatically good.
2. FG is good if the ball goes through the yellow posts.
3.Ball must be more than half over line. ref will judge. if
player kicks ball before judged by ref. auto miss or make
dpending on which team kicked it b4 it was judged. ref will have
admin so they will have admin. its their responsibility to pause
the game. still auto miss or make though if he forgot and
someone forgets or decided to be a troll
Offense
1. The QB can pass the ball and if the offensive player touches
the ball before a defensive player, it is considered a catch. A
catch can also be when the ball is out of bounds, but the
offensive player is in bounds and touches the ball.
2. A hand off is when the QB flashes and touches the RB, or
other offensive player. Note that the player being given the
ball must be atleast somewhat behind the quarterback.
Defense
1. A defensive player can get a interception by hitting the ball
after the QB throws it in between the yellow posts before a
offensive player catches it. If a defender touches the ball it
is ruled an incomplete pass. The offense can try and hit the
ball before the ball is goes through the yellow posts after a
defender has hit it.
2. 20 second blitzes are allowed.
3. Defenders have to be at least 10 yards away from the ball, or
else a penalty resulting in 10 yards occurs.
Overtime
1. Overtime rules are NFL OT rules.
2. 1st TD wins the game, FG is just 3 pts as usual.

ya we will use those rules except for OT.
here are my OT rules:
1st to 10 points in OT wins
OR
whoever is winning after 5 mins + last play
if it is tied, double OT ensues with points carrying over from
the first OT.
also, a TD is 6 points.
a 1 point bonus can be obtained from a 30 yard FG, or the team
can go for 2 extra points by going for a TD from 15 yards from
the endzone.
