       How to Stream

       so I am not the only one that knows how to stream, here is a
       post by jay showing how to stream

       Summary
       With the addition of streamers to help generate a more efficient
       league stream, several new streamers have expressed frustration
       with figuring out the how-to's of streaming. Hopefully, this
       video will shed some light on the simpler aspects of setting up
       your  stream.
       LiveStream Account
       The SPHB streams are run through LiveStream, a free-to-use
       service for streaming video. In order to stream, you will need
       an account on their website here

       again, is free.

       The channel name you create is irrelevant, as you will be using
       HCD01-HCD02 to stream, not your own channel. After finishing
       account creation, you should contact a League Commissioner so
       they can grant you access to stream on the HCD channels.

       LiveStream Procaster
       I highly suggest that you use LiveStream's "Procaster" to stream
       video. It's easy and, of course, free. You can find the download
       here

       The Procaster
       supports Mac and PC - this tutorial will use the Mac version,
       but to my knowledge, they aren't noticeably different.

       Download your supported version, and run the simple
       installation. You should have a program that looks like this:

       Enter your login details, and you'll be taken to a screen like
       this:

       [li]Channel selector. Be certain that you have the correct
       channel selected before going live. I'll change my user and pw
       so everyone can use HCD01 and make a HCD02.[/li]
       [li]Go Live. This button will begin streaming your
       camera/desktop to the selected channel.[/li]
       [li]Video source. Be sure that you don't have your webcam
       selected, or SPHB will be sure to take pictures and make you
       regret it. This should be set to "No Camera," and you will
       stream your desktop instead.[/li]
       [li]Quality. If your stream is experiencing bad lag, use this to
       lower your video quality. When streaming, you will be given
       quality feedback by the Procaster. I'll explain this later.

       Streaming Video
       Once you're live, you're going to want to control the video
       being streamed. Primarily, this means which portion of your
       screen is being streamed - nobody wants to see your entire
       desktop.
