3. Goals, Assists and Match Reports

1. GOALS
1.1 A goal shall be credited to the last player to touch the
ball before it went in.
1.1.1 The ball is considered to be in the net as soon as the
"Team Scores!" message pops up.
1.2 In the event of an own goal, the last player to touch the
ball will be credited with the goal
1.2.1 A goal is considered an own goal if it was kicked or
pushed by a player into his own net, intentionally or
unintentionally.
1.2.2 If no player touches the ball before an own goal, then no
one shall receive credit for the goal.
1.3 Should it say "Team Scores" and then immediately says "Team
is Victorious", the goal SHALL NOT COUNT.
2. ASSISTS
2.1 An assist shall be given to the second to last player to
touch the ball before his team scores providing the other team
does not obtain possession.
2.1.1 A team is considered to have possession when a player
successfully kicks the ball OR is touching the ball for longer
than 1 second.
2.2 All own goals are automatically considered to be UNASSISTED.
3. MATCH REPORTS
3.1 All Match Reports are to be written by the Home Team's
Owner, General Manager or Assistant General Manager.
3.2 The GMs playing a game must ensure the recording of a match.
3.2.1 The recording must be posted on a video sharing site (i.e.
YouTube, HaxballTube, etc), with the link being sent to a Match
Reporter.
3.3 Every Match Report will contain the following:
3.3.1 Players who played in the
3.3.1.1 First Half
3.3.1.2 Second Half
3.3.1.3 Overtime
3.3.2 A scoring summary of the
3.3.2.1 First Half, which shows the
3.3.2.1.1 Goals of the Half, and declares
3.3.2.1.1.1 The Goal Scorer
3.3.2.1.1.2 The Assist Receiver
3.3.2.1.1.3 The Time of the Goal
3.3.2.1.1.4 The Current Score
3.3.2.1.2 Open Net Misses of the Half, pointing out
3.3.2.1.2.1 The Player who missed the Open Net
3.3.2.1.2.2 The Time of the Miss
3.3.2.1.2.3 The Current Score
3.3.2.2 Second Half, which shows the
3.3.2.2.1 Goals of the Half, and declares
3.3.2.2.1.1 The Goal Scorer
3.3.2.2.1.2 The Assist Receiver
3.3.2.2.1.3 The Time of the Goal
3.3.2.2.1.4 The Current Score
3.3.2.2.2 Open Net Misses of the Half, pointing out
3.3.2.2.2.1 The Player who missed the Open Net
3.3.2.2.2.2 The Time of the Miss
3.3.2.2.2.3 The Current Score
3.3.2.3 Overtime, which shows the
3.3.2.3.1.1 Goal of the Half, and declares
3.3.2.3.1.2 The Goal Scorer
3.3.2.3.1.3 The Assist Receiver
3.3.2.3.1.4 The Time of the Goal
3.3.2.3.1.5 The Current Score
3.3.2.3.2 Open Net Misses of the Half, pointing out
3.3.2.3.2.1 The Player who missed the Open Net
3.3.2.3.2.2 The Time of the Miss
3.3.2.3.2.3 The Current Score
3.3.3 The Scores at Halftime and at Full time
3.3.4 A link to the Match Replay
3.3.5 The name of the Certified Match Reporter
3.4 All Match Reports must be written and submitted by Sunday at
11:59 PM each week.
3.4.1 A team shall receive a Yellow Card for each Match Report
they failed to write that was their responsibility
3.4.2 It is the responsibility of the Home Team to ensure the
Writing of a Match Report
3.4.3 If a team fails to write all the Match Reports it was
responsible for, regardless of how many that may be, that team
shall receive an automatic Red Card
