Wow, I cannot believe it is over
       By: SK1 Date: June 6, 2013, 8:29 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
I have been playing haxball since freshman year in high school.
Started SPHB when I was a sophmore in highschool, joined phl
when i was a junior, and have now even played in HCD as a senior
in highschool. And i believe I have made a good name for myself
as a player...maybe not as a person, but definitely as a player
in all 3 leagues. And it is with this that i can retire from
haxball without any regrets. I have literally gave my life
blood and soul into this game whenever I had free time from my
one true passion; and that passion is soccer.
I have been playing soccer since I was 8, but started to get
       really serious when I turned 13 or 14 (i can't remember lol)
when I joined a US Development Academy soccer team based out of
the state of New Jersey. I am a goalkeeper in real life and
have been given a once in a life time chance. Although I have
been called to 3 US National Team I.D. camps in the past, I have
never actually made it past that. I got a letter in the mail
earlier this morning from one of the US Mens U-18 National Team
coaches to come to Florida (not giving the exact location); as
they were impressed with my play at a recent Academy Showcase
that was held earlier in the year. Although ther is no way in
hell that I am ever going to actually get a spot on the team (as
i am sure that ther are about 10+ other goalkeepers who are
going to be accompanying me to try to gain the one opening spot
for the goalkeeper position...some of which are probably x10
times better than me lol) im going to give it another
shot...hopefully i'll get lucky ;). But, seeing that theses
tryouts are nothing like I.D. camps (I.D. camps last about 3-4
days, while a tryout last a whole month!) im going to be unable
to do anything haxball related for a while! And seeing that I'm
going to college in the fall and am banned from PHL and SPHB, I
believe it is time for me to hang up the hax cleats FOREVER.
Now to my Matadors, by no means am i leaving or deserting you
guys. I have already recruited a new player named smoke. He is
a very solid GK and shuld really fill our need for that position
(seeing as we are overloaded with FWDs). He is going to be ur
new GM/Chairman, however, I am not just gonna let some new guy
run the team...which is why i am also going to appoint google as
the AGM of the Madrid Matadors (I have already told everything
to SMOKE on how to GM a team/do the match reports, etc...so
admins u have nothing to worry about...but if he needs help
please lend a hand). Matadors, u guys are in first place and
have already proven that you guys can play extremely well
without me (that 16-6 [M] stat pad against the cyclones lol).
Keep it up guys and bring home a cup.
I have had a lot of fun playing this game, but everyone has ther
time to end it all....and my time is now. Pce.
       Last shoutouts:
To the Matadors: win a cup please.
To SMOKE and google: best of luck running the team...both of u
work together and I'm sure the Matadors are going to be like the
       Islanders of SPHB
To everyone that I have known and played with in this league and
in any other haxball leagues: Had a good time, best of luck to
all of you guys in life.
       Pce ya'll!
