First HCD logo attempt

I decided to have a go at making a better HCD logo. This is the
first thing I came up with. Let me know what you think about it.
Is there anything you think should be changed/added/removed?

Well done !The logo we have no isn't even transparent..... Looks
nice.

I lightened the black a bit. I'm not sure if I like it like this
though:

the first one with a white edge so you could see the black would
be nice

Yup. I like using it for logos because they are easily
resizable.
