League versus divisions

I already brought this up once before, but I guess I'll have to
bring it up again because it was changed... again. There's a
huge difference between a league and a division. A league is the
entire body of players, teams, staff, etc. A division is a part
of a league that pertains to certain teams. Any team that's not
in one division will always be in another. All teams, however,
fall under the same league.
Reasons why we should keep our league as Divisions A, B, etc:
1) I know you are pushing for our LEAGUE to be more like the
Premier League, but that doesn't mean that we should emulate
every part of them. You don't see use calling out offsides rules
because the EPL does.
2) Division is the only logical term to use when DIVIDING teams
in a league.
3) It's called Haxball Club DIVISIONALS for a reason. Not
Haxball Club Leagues... that would just be autistic (or
hydrochloric acid).
4) It follows a logical progression of naming. Going with A, B,
C, etc. makes a lot more sense and is easy for newcomers to
understand than PL, L1, etc.
5) It builds a sense that PL players are innately superior to
players in the "lower" leagues. This is exactly the kind of
behavior I was trying to avoid when founding this league. It
was, after all, designed to be a league where everyone, even
those who were not "worthy" of other leagues could join.
The defense rests.

Why league? It just doesn't make sense to me. HCD is a league
with divisions, not a "insert word here" with leagues.
