We do have a preexisting logo (the diamond). Why did you change
it in the first place?

because I did not like the diamond very much, I found it
somewhat bland
If you want to make a new logo, by all means, go ahead

I didn't like the existing logo very much either, but you should
probably warn people about the switch prior to making it. I will
try to make a better logo once I get the chance.
