I present to you:
SMART STATISTICS 1.0
Demo program:

To test this demo, go to

What you are looking at is a table generated through the use of
Google Spreadsheets and the Google Chart Tools. The way it works
is there is a spreadsheet I made stored on Google Drive with
custom code to allow for increased ease of data tracking and
analysis. In other words, by submitting an answer to the form
(linked above under the demo program), the table shown above
will update it's information automatically. Because this is a
static image, you will have to reload this page after submitting
to the form in order to view your changes.
I will add yellow and red card functionality soon along with
point tracking because those appear to be the most complicated
of the bunch to make.

dosent seem that hard - just for the points column where you
have 3 pts for a win, 2 points for ot win, etc, have -1 pts for
yellow amd -2 for red. unless thats not how it works in which
case my comment is invalid

Easier said than done, unfortunately. First it has to count how
many times a team receives a yellow/red card. Then it has to
convert that into a numerical value that the spreadsheet can
understand. Then it has to multiply those values as well as
wins/OT wins by their corresponding value in terms of points,
and finally it has to combine them all together.

By the way someone calculated the standings incorrectly for both
United Talent (should be 3 pts) and for Detroit Recession
(should be 12). Unless the penalties were entered incorrectly,
of course.
