S4W3D1 - Important Announcements

Effective immediately, all Owners, General Managers and
Assistant General Managers are expected to attend ALL GM
meetings. Individual attendance will be taken at 9:30 PM sharp
every Thursday in the IRC for the weekly GM meeting. Failure to
show up 3 times without a valid reason will result in immediate
impeachment. If there is a valid reason for missing the meeting,
a PM must be sent to me within 24 hours of the meeting to be
exempt (it can be up to 24 hours after the meeting, so until
9:30 PM Friday). Note that I will determine what a valid reason
is. I will try to be fail, but 'I forgot' is NOT a valid reason.
If someone does not attend the meeting, I will not be notifying
them, it is their responsibility to PM me. Friday at 9:30 PM I
will send a PM to all those not excused to notify them that they
have a strike - 3 strikes is an automatic impeachment - no
exceptions. Note that all teams that had strikes have been
cleared of their strikes to keep things fair.
Also, concerning sending players up and down: there is a new
board in the GM forum called "Affiliation Player Movements". To
move a player, the Owner / GM / AGM of the team MUST make a
thread here. For the move to be confirmed, the Owner / GM / AGM
must reply confirming that the affiliate team agrees to the
move. All confirmed player movements will be executed Wednesday
at 11:59 PM. Note that players are only moved once a week. This
is done to keep things organized and to respect the 7-day
waiting period between times a player is moved between
divisions. All completed player movement threads will be deleted
upon completion to retain organization. Appropriate edits to the
rulebook will be done later this evening.
Last but not least, there is a HCD Staff position open.
Sportsport the buffalo has been stripped of his HCD Staff status
due to his lack of commitment towards his job. We are currently
looking for a replacement. If you wish to apply, send a PM to
Lord of Fail and blockade. You will be asked to edit the
Division A Team Pages. A basic knowledge of HTML code is
required. If you do not know HTML code but still wish to apply,
be sure to learn how to edit text and tables in HTML code, as
well as how to link text to a URL.
All these changes are effective immediately and have been agreed
upon by the General Managers at the last GM Meeting (those who
showed up, anyway). Hopefully this will improve the league and
the HCD Community.
