After being on the road and having a fun time after the show
Joe heads to see some friends before having to head out on a
week trip in the UK, He gets to Alex's house and knocks. Trina
lets him in and Joe gives her a hug walking in the front room
and sits on the couch looking over at the twins and smiles.
Joe: Thankfully they got their looks from their mom cause I
would feel bad if they got the looks from the styles side of the
coin.
He laughs as Alex walks in and Joe looks at him before standing
and shakes hands with him.
Alex: what brings you around?
Joe: Just passin through thought I would stop by. Known the
family along time so just wanted to stop by see how the little
ones were and check up on you two. Instead of just putting it
out there wanted to say congrats on the engagement. Didn't
think that would happen in the family for awhile but its cool
as long as she can put up with you more power given to her. No
really good to hear you two are gonna do this thing. Its not
easy as some know ive been there and its harder than you
might wanna think. Thankfully mine didn't have any kids
involved or any other thing to keep me tied to her for the
rest of my life. That's another story. The kids are cute by the
way.
Trina: Thanks
Joe: No problem. I actually wanted to stop and ask you guys
something.. Since theres what two days left of the year?.. I
just got told I gotta leave tonight and do a few shows in the
UK. So I wont be here for the new year when it comes in ill
see it before you all though which is a plus in a way but not
really. I wanted to ask you guys to do me a favor. Alex you
know the old place your brother let me use for parties which
were always fun back then in the younger days. Set it up ill
get everything goin and set keep the tradition there alive
for people. I aint gonna be there and right now especially
sucks since lifes kinda lookin good. Have all the boys and
the girls of course there. You know April? The one at shows
backstage make sure she goes if she wants ill call you guys
when the time comes but try and get her there I called Chris
hes gonna be there since I know him as much as AJ.
Trina: Jericho? Are you two ..
Joe: Yes Jericho .. And not exactly well officially haven't
asked yet .. we met a couple days ago thanks to Taz and AJ.
Went out last night for awhile and it sucks im not gonna be
here til next week. So I want you guys to make sure she has
some fun.
Trina: Why don't you just ask her Joe?
Joe: Cause I don't know what she thinks of me. Shes a
sweetheart I mean that she is a sweet girl. But I aint gonna
push something on her she might not want. And hell I don't even
know if shes seein anyone we just went out last night and I
didn't even ask it didn't cross my mind to be honest.
Truthfully wouldn't matter that's why and you know how women
are your one they don't go for guys like me. Im not doing the
pity bull**** either its just truth. I like the girl but im
not gonna push something on her if she aint into me or
anything. Im not that way im just me I aint the best shaped
guy or best lookin if you haven't noticed.
Trina: That doesn't matter to some. Your a straight nice guy
who treats people with respect that's what counts.
Joe: Try to .. I don't know all I know is I like the girl but
don't wanna rush anything on her.
He looks over at Alex and does a double take and laughs.
Joe: Don't look at me like that. No I aint scared to ask before
you say something like your brother would say. You know me
better the whole family does. Just make sure she has some fun
shes quiet but make sure she has fun. Igotta be goin in a
little bit but if you guys wanna its on me grab the kids or
whatever and ill take you guys out for dinner or something
before I go. Been awhile since I got around this way. SO it'll
be on me[/center]

I look at Joe then i start to speak
Alex Styles Talk to my brother and have him have Corina talk to
April into coming over here with them to see the kids then you
can stop by then you can ask her out over here.

He looks at him a second then at the floor before sitting
back shutting his eyes putting his hands on his face a few
seconds trying to relax.
Joe: That's the point im not good at this .. Ive been back in
the game for three years now and I never had this goin through
my head of liking anyone til now. I don't even know if she
likes me and don't say a word on that.
He laughs a little
Joe: I don't want her to feel rushed into anything after only
two days of knowing me. I can give it a try I guess but I just
don't wanna push her you know. I can honestly say I wish
someone would slap me right now to get the high school boy
feeling out of me ..
Trina looks at hima second and slaps him and Joe looks at
her
Trina: Hey you said you wished someone would ..
Joe: I didn't mean literally damn .
He laughs.
Joe: fine ill text Corina or AJ maybe both I don't know. Im
still new to this thing but fine ill take your advice this
time. Ill be back anyway im gonna go get some things if they
do stop by and ill be back so don't anyone leave or move.
He stands walking out sending a couple texts and gets in the
car heading to the closest store.[/center]

April had been sitting at home when she gets a message from
Corina. She reads the message and then looks at the clock.
April: That don't give me much time and why was she so
mysterious? She didn't say why she wanted me to go.
She showers and changes just in time for the doorbell to ring.
She walks over and opens it and Corina walks in.

April: Good to see you Corina. So where are we going?
Corina: We are meeting AJ at his brother Alex's house. Going to
see the babies. Wanted you to come with me.
She looks down.
April: Oh ok... cool.
The girls leave and and start to head to Alex's house.

After getting Joe's message AJ gets to his brothers place being
let in and sits for a little bit.
AJ: I was actually gonna stop by and see those two later anyway
but since Joe has lost his guts in doin anything alone I
guess nows better than later
He laughs a little and walks over kneeling down picking one
of them up and holds them.
AJ: Hey buddy .. Your the only one awake huh? Gonna be like
dad was and never go to sleep I remember being up trying to
get him to go to sleep along with Daisy don't be like that
they didn't wanna listen.
He laughs and then looks at Alex.
AJ: Sorry I know not funny but truth. Anyway you better lay
back down
He puts him back down and sits relaxing a little bit.
AJ: You know I was thinking.. Why is Joe having a hard time
askin this time for someone to go with him? Unless hes scared
of being hurt again and not wanting to see not all are the
same.
I mean she is a nice girl I can say that and im sure shes not
that kind. Joes pulling back in to a shell of not sure what
to do or he wouldn't have had all of us around for support.
The guy has been single for three years
yet he acts like hes never done this before.
Trina: Or hes scared of something else.
AJ: Exactly hes scared of givin love another shot to work or
even get that far. He likes her but hes pulling back as well.
Hopefully this works for him.
He sits back watching a little tv with them.[/center]

After a little time Joe gets back and walks in going to the
other room and stands.
AJ: You ok buddy? Whats goin on in that mind of yours?
Joe: Nothin' im good really.
AJ: Joe .. Your holding back and want the support of all of us
cause your afraid of being hurt. I know it you know it we all
do. You like April obviously I mean why else would you wanna
hang out a lot and have things on your mind. But your scared
of something happening and your scared of giving the love
thing another try.
Joe: Not true .. I don't know what it is this time and I know
for sure its not because of falling for the girl fast cause I
haven't. Its the fact I don't wanna do something that puts
her in a way that shes forced to make a choice she aint gonna
be happy with. Love? That don't work the way it should with
everyone. It did for you your brother Punk that's about it and
where am I at? Im in the damn pool while everything and
everyone else goes on. I aint complaining it happens but
people don't get it. Im not a guy that uses women I don't do
it for one thing I do it cause its a mutual equal amount of
respect and all that goes with itnot just one way. Just cause I
like her doesn't mean she feels the same.
AJ: To be honest whats there not to like? Your a nice guy you
treat women right and with respect. You got their backs during
anything their goin through you don't play games or mess
around. In my view if the girls don't like you its their loss
cause your one of the few true guys around Joe. Your also
afraid that if you two click your gonna feel more and fall in
love again. That's where you feel is the danger point cause
you fall in love they turn and go the other way or do what
happened to you. Not all women are that way and I don't think
she would do that to you. You gotta loosen up bro and forget
the other deals. You got a chance to prove to the others that
made the mistake of leaving they messed up big time.
Joe: Yeah I guess.. I like this girl though. Just cause I like
her AJ doesn't mean its the same with her. I mean two days and
whats she gonna think this guy I barely met already likes me
that's weird. As for falling again I doubt that will be done..
As their talking Trina walks in and AJ looks at her a second
before realizing the girls were there and he looks at Joe
before walking back in with them and Joe grabs his drink
walking to the door way leaning on the wall and smiles a
little.
Joe: Well at least the gangs all here.
He laughs and walks over giving Corina a hug and smiles.
Joe: Anyone want anything
He walks behind April a second and puts a hand on her back
and looks at the rest. Then back at her
Joe: Actually Can I talk to you for a minute in there? Wont
take long I promise.
He walks in the other room with her and stands not sayin
anything for a couple minutes
Joe: Listen I know you've known me a couple days you hung
with me and its cool. Im not good at this stuff to be honest
and im not pushing anything on you or pushing anything to start
with but ill be honest I like you your different and its
cool. You haven't known me that long I know but I was kinda
wonderin if you would give me a chance. You don't have to
answer right now its finetake time to think about it I just
wanted to ask you. Like I said im not good at this stuff
anymore. Just wanted to ask and you don't have to answer if you
don't wanna its all cool. So want anything ill bring it in
with theirs.
He looks at her[/center]

He smiles a little and gets her a drink and hands it to her.
Joe: Yeah well you know I try to be at times. Doesn't always
happen but I try to be.
He kinda laughs
Joe: Ive been called worse than sweet trust me at times. Ill
take anything I can get I guess.
He laughs again and looks to the window then back.
Joe: So if you wanna go back in with them its cool. I have
no problem witht hat either but then again that's your choice as
well. Just letting you know though im gonna be heading out soon
and wont be back for a week so if you wanna hang for awhile im
good with anything.
He looks at her a minute
Joe: And by the way I meant what I said the other night when
Taz had that all set up and some of the boys didn't say
anything and it all was put out there. If you wanna believe it
or not you are a beautiful girl and im sayin that without
having a few drinks in me. Anyway wanna go back in there
where theres others or whatever you want ill be there in a few
minutes. Go relax whatever you wanna do then go ahead and do
it.
He walks over getting the rest what they want and walks by the
table kinda leaning on it and looks out the window
Joe: You know what you all have fun ill be back here in a
little bit I need to go get some air.
He leaves the stuff on the table and turns walking out and
grabs his jacket walking outside not sayin anything to

As he walks out AJ looks at the others and stands walking
outside behind him. Knowing how Joe is being friends for along
time.
AJ: Joe ..
Joe: What? Ill be back im going to get some air that's all ill
be back in a little bit.
AJ: Translation you told her to think about it and your minds
playin with you. Listen to me Joe .. I have known you for
along time we've known eachother families you were there when
my family needed someone the most. Your like a brother to me
Alex and Daisy your protective of them as much as anyone. My
kids call you uncle Joe hell Corina needed someone to talk to
you've been there. Your a great man but your hard on yourself
or over think yourself when it comes to certain things.
Being a little frusterated Joe turns and punches his car before
turning back and AJ just looks at him letting him get it out.
Joe: You don't get what its like AJ. I was married six years
single for three I don't have what it takes to do anything
right. I finally allow myself to like someone a little bit and
she said she liked me and shes havin fun with me. Having
fun with me? I aint a puppy AJ having fun with someone is
like being friends im getting to damn old for a friends deal
I have a lot of those maybe I made the wrong choice. I like that
girl and now I don't know.
AJ: Your not giving up on this I know me the rest aint gonna
let you. I know they know you like her. Go get your air and
come back ok..
He lets him be and turns walking in and goes where April is.
AJ: Hey.. Look he will be back just needs to get a little air
and clear his mind but he will be back. I don't know if Corina
talked to you while I was with him but I wanted to just say
one thing. Joe is a very different guy been friends with him for
awhile now. When he says something he means it. I can say a lot
to put the guy over but one thing I do know cause I can tell
since a couple days ago. Joe does like you hes real with that
he just don't push women into anything or force anything on
them. Especially since what his ex did to him he has been
married before I aint gonna cover that up but been single for
three years now. Taz had the idea of introducing you two for
some reason he just said he was gonna do it and he did. To be
honest I think Joe likes you a bit more than hes sayin but wont
do anything because he doesn't know if its the same way with
you. He will be back in a few minutes just needs tome to cool
down and clear his head he always comes back. In fact..
He turns and looks in the other room.
AJ: Hes back .. And by the way he wont make a move in any way
cause he doesn't wanna make you feel uncomfortable or think
since hes a guy its about one thing. With him its never been
about that if he feels something then its real and he would do
anything for anyone. You wanna come back in there and sit have
some fun or whats on your mind?
He looks at her reaching over grabbing a drink.[/center]
