Hangin out after the show (April, Joe Read)

After a Friday night show and getting a little time to relax
before hitting the road for the next show some of the guys
hang out at the hotel bar. Taz walks in as Joe and AJ sit at a
table and walks behind Joe making him jump after he puts a
hand on his shoulder since his backs to the door. He laughs and
Joe stares at him.
Taz: You really need to learn to relax bro. You don't have to
get jumpy so easy. Just stopped by to check on you biys and make
sure your doing good and livin ok.
Joe: Im good just had a couple drinks trying to kill the pain
in my neck and back.
Taz: Ice and heat that works and loosens up the muscles in the
shoulders as well ice helps that pretty well I know. Actually
having a fun time hangin with you guys on the road helpin out
Joe: Yeah its cool to have a old guy follow you around like hes
your father. Real cool.
He laughs and Taz kinda laughs a little.
Taz: Well someone has to keep your ass out of trouble .. By the
way your still a single guy right?
Joe: Have been for three years now hasn't changed in any way
why?
Taz: Just wondering. Actually you should try talking to women
instead of being one of the boys. Im jokin .. Seriously though
come with me a minute or two.
He waits a couple seconds and Joe gets up walking with him over
to a corner table and stands with Taz.
Taz: Im sure you two have passed eachother in the back at some
point. So im gonna be the nice guy here and see if new friends
can be made.
He laughs and Joe rolls his eyes.
Taz: Im sure you know eachothers names cause of the business
but ill be the nice one here. April Joe .. Joe April now you
know eachothers names and know whos who talk ill hang with AJ
for awhile. Have fun beats being here alone doesn't it?
He kinda smiles and walks over with AJ as Joe turns and watches

Joe watches him a second and turns back getting a chair and
sits lookin at the table a few seconds and then finally looks
at her.
Joe: Im Joe as my fine feathered friend there said..
He laughs.
Joe: Actually hes something else but I have no problem hangin
around if you wanna if not that's cool to.
He looks back down at the table a few seconds.
Joe: So to be honest im not good at this whole first time thing
im just a go with the feel kinda guy. I don't wanna make
anyone uncomfortable by hangin around if they don't want
anyone around them. That aint my deal so I can go back over
there with them if your wanting to be alone.
He kinda looks over at AJ and a couple of the guys then
turns back
Joe: Actually .. Do you wanna come over there and hang out with
us? Its no problem beats being alone and no one to hang with.
The guys over there have who their with and im the only one
over there that has no one to hang with. So if you want a drink
tell me what you want and it'll be on me this time you can
come over there and hang out or if you wanna stay here and
don't mind ill get you a drink and come right back and hang
here. That is if you don't mind or wanna hang with the guys. I
will do either way but if you wanna hang out its cool and not
just cause of him .. It would be kinda cool.
He looks at her and smiles[/center]

She smiles as she looks at Joe.
April: Hi, As he said... I am April. And yes... I know several
in that cast of clowns. That is why I am over here. Cause most
of them are nothing but trouble. And I don't want trouble.
She laughs.
April: We can hang if you like. I have no problem in that. Kinda
surprised Taz did this thou but it is cool. I wasn't really
drinking anything but a soda. I have seen my brother when he is
loaded. I don't want to follow him with that. I am sure you know
him... Chris Jericho. Well my other brother, he don't do much in
the business and my sister... lets not go there. I guess AJ and
Taz set this up. Figures.
She laughs again.
April: Anyway... If you want to go over there... it is fine.
Most people don't want non wrestlers around much. All they want
to do is talk about the ring and stuff. But hey... it's cool.

April: No one usually hits on me. I usually just sit at these
places and watch the world go by. As for beauty... it is in the
eye of the beholder. You ask me... I am not beautiful. Not by a
long shot. But then again... I am not the vane type.
She laughs.
April: You wanna go over, then ok. I will go but don't be
surprised if I don't way much.
She looks down.
April: I am not big on crowds. Usually when in one, I just sit
and nod. Not much to say.

He looks at her kinda thinking and goes quiet
Joe: If you wanna admit it or not you are a beautiful girl you
can take it as hitting on or whatever. But unlike some whos
been drinking I have a lot of respect for women. I don't take it
to the limit or cross any lines with anything or anyway. I can
be a flirt if I was drunk but im not drunk right now. Like I
said I don't feel like it not in the mood to be.
He looks back over at them and stays where he is
Joe: Actually forget them .. Don't need to be by yourself with
no one around to talk to. So ill hang here let me go grab my
phone and stuff and ill be right back don't move on me now.
He gets up and walks over grabbing his keys and the rest of
his stuff walking back over.
Joe: So whats on your mind anyway. I can tell when people got
stuff on their minds so whats on your mind? You can tell me I
listen pretty good to anything you need to get off your mind or
whatever im easy to talk to. And if it helps ill say it again
I wasn't really hitting on you like most would I was being
honest kinda a difference in these types of places. If I was
hitting on you trust me you would know it.
He puts his jacket on the one chair and sits in the one by her
lookin at the table still kinda thinking.
Joe: You are a beautiful woman though and the guys here
wouldn't hesitate a second to try something if I didn't come
back but I keep my word a lot I have your back if anyone tries
something. I wouldn't sit back and allow it to happen. I give
you my word on that.
He looks at her and smiles
Joe: So like I said tell me whats on your mind get it out
better than holding it in.
He sits back and relaxes putting his arm on the back of the
chair
Joe: Sorry habit didn't mean to do that.
He moves his arm and sits back forward getting another drink
watching some of the people before turning back.[/color

here more in the dark corner. Theres a few people out there
what do you say wanna have a dance? I promise I aint gonna do
anything

He puts his drink down and stands pushing the chair in
lookin at her then puts his hand out.[/center]
