Just hangin out (April, Homicide AJ Corina Read)

After being pulled because of the attack from punk and two
others Joe goes and catches a flight back home after a few
hours in the air they finally land at Orlando and Joe gets to
his car driving making a stop picking up something for
Homicide and then gets home carrying a few bottles in. He
walks in behind reaching around and hands him a bottle and
smiles.
Joe: Take it as a thanks for for keepin a eye on her. Best way
i can repay ya i know you wont refuse that i know how you are.
He laughs walking in putting the rest in the fridge getting him
on himself. He grabs another and gets a drink putting his
down finding out where April was. He walks upstairs and
stands in the door way leaning on the frame a minute and kinda
smiles lookin at her. After another minute more he walk in
behind her by the window and stands lookin out sayin nothin'
and finally reaches around with a drink makin her jump and he
laughs.
Joe: If it wasnt to high up i would say go ahead if you wanna
jump but its a little bit high dont you think?
He puts the drink on the table and puts his arms around her
stayin close a few minutes.
Joe: Damn i missed being home especially right now. Feel
better though and glad they let me come home. Beats talking on
the phone or messages back and forth. And you get your wish i
think i dont know about that though.
He smiles and reaches over getting the drink and hands it to
her
Joe: I know you said you dont drink much i reapect that but its
one night i called AJ so he knew i was in hes gonna see if
Corina wants to come by for awhile and all of us hang out hes
got her brother to watch the kids so he said they might up to
her. Cides here they show up we can all have some fun and hang
out awhile forget everything else and relax. Then who knows
later.. Ill try and stay sober though if you want me to. If i
dont ill stay in control and not do anything or say
anything .. I promise ..
He smiles and flirts a little bit before turning and lookin at
the door.
Joe: Might as well go back down so he doesnt think anythings
goin on up here. And i actually think AJ just pulled in so might
as well go hang out and have some fun. Dont know if its just
him or what he said he would tell her though.
He takes her hand and walks back down with her sitting. Aj looks
at them and Joe walks over givin him a hug and then sits
back down with his drink. He relaxes and looks at Homicide.
Joe: Thanks for having her back with the psycho **** next door
sorry they took you in though but i said i got ya covered and
she got ya. I woulda been in the same place if it was me i
appreciate it bro i really do.
He gets AJ a drink and sits again and kinda looks at her
again being kinda quiet. He leans forward and puts his drink
on the table and stands heading to the other room and stops
having her go with him and stands a couple seconds.
Joe: Your quiet tonight. A little to quiet i know you dont
drink much its one drink thats it. Whats goin on? Whats wrong
with you something wrong or did i do or say somethin? Just
wondered cause your to quiet so talk to me whats the matter?
You kinda went quiet when i called earlier as well so whats up?
I cant fix whats wrong if your not tellin me what it is.

She looks at Joe.
April: What do you think? I am still scared. I don't know if he
is coming back here looking for another shot or if he plans on
doing something to you just to get in here. I am scared to
death. I am surprised Cide didn't tell you.
She looks down with tears in her eyes.
April: If something happened to you... I don't know what I would
do. If something happened to keep us apart or tear us apart I
think I would die.

He looks at her a second and then looks away before getting her
to look at him.
Joe: Hey listen to me .. Nothing and no one is gonna do
anything to you and i. I want you to understand and believe me
on that. No one can keep me from you but you nothing can
stop me from doing what i have to do to protect those i love
and care about. Cide Aj the rest of the boys they know me
they know what im capable of doing to keep those around me that
i consider my life safe. the jackass can do anything he wants
to me he will never get to you and i mean that never..
He looks at her
Joe: Listen i dont care if he has twenty five guys layin for me
hes never gonna get to you. He cant fight me so hes gonna be
brave and take things to a level of personal he knows what to
say to get to me and hes always backed down when getting close
to them. He aint gonna keep me from keeping you safe and
neither are his friends. None of them are gonna get within
five feet of you as far as i can help it i knoe Cide wont let
any of them neither will AJ. I can keep him backed down.
Nothing is gonna happen to me at his hands anyway cause he aint
that tough ive seen tougher. Believe me i wouldnt let any of
them try to get to you or do anything. Dont let him put fear in
your head i mean hey you got Cide AJ Taz and with those
tough three im still here they aint gonna run me off.
He looks away again.
Joe: Ill tell you what you dont feel safe around here because
of him and his buddies.. Cool i understand. Then where do you
wanna go wanna stay in florida go to Cali Canada anywhere you
wanna go you feel safe tell me. Im willing to go so you feel
safe and can relax. But im not leaving your side i made that
promise when i asked you to be with me like we are now. I want
this if i didnt i would of never asked and its gonna take more
then them to tear apart what this is. I want you in my life i
want to keep the promise i made when i asked you to be my
wife when that happens i dont know im keepin that slowed down
cause i dont wanna rush you into something so fast then later
be told it aint gonna work cause it was rushed. I want a
family of my own so yeah its gonna take more than him and his
buddies to keep me away or come between you and i because i
wont allow it to happen.
He looks back at her
Joe: I would give myself up to protect you thats how much i
would give to make sure you were safe. It sounds weird cause
no it hasnt been very long with us but i know who i am and what
im wanting to be and what i want. I said i would find a way
home sooner and i made it back here tonight. I dont care about
money the buisness i care and will protect apart of my life
and thats you. In my mind were good nothing can come between
so dont let them or him get in your mind to get to you. You got
the boys when im gone you got them when im home you got me
when im here i wouldnt let anything happen to you. Never and i
mean that as well they would have to damn near kill me to get to
you and that would take to long they would give up because if
knocked down protecting what is mine i get back up and never
stay down. Your safe trust me ok. Just relax like i said i
know you dont drink much but just have one to calm down i
aint making you drink more just one to calm down a little bit
nothings gonna happen look at me ..
He gets her to look at him again
Joe: Nothings gonna happen to you and no ones gonna do anything
to you i promise and i havent gone back on my promises to you
yet i dont plan on starting now. I love you i wont let
anything happen you gotta trust me on that. Wanna go relax with
them or what do you wanna do?

She looks at Joe as he wipes her tears. He could feel her
shaking.
April: Let me calm down first. Don't want everyone to see me
lose it. Bad enough you are.
She sniffles.
April: I will be fine without the drink. Just hold me is all I
ask. Cause right now... I think that is the only thing that will
make me feel safe.

Joe: Now see thats one thing you dont gotta ask twice from me.
He smiles and keeps her close by him for a little bit.
Joe: Ok you dont gotta have the drink i aint gonna make you.
But just calm down you got nothing to worry about im here now
and i will be for along time. Just relax calm down. As for me
seein anything it doesnt matter i aint one to say anything
about that. I get where your comin from i would probably be the
same if i was you. But you have nothing to worry about ok.
He finally gives her a kiss.
Joe: As if that helps anything.
He laughs a little[/center]
