I have a question: how will we recognize each other? Not going
to ask anyone to post a pic in a public thread if they don't
want to, but general description, maybe? I'm short with dark
hair that will probably be in a bun BC I'm lazy on weekends.
Most of my clothes are vintagey-looking and I wear lots of old
silver jewelry.

Will text you a picture of me. I have already met TAA and acl in
person, so that completes the group for this meetup.

Well, turns out that Grey Bar opens at 11:30 on Sunday, and
brunch is served until 4.
So... new meeting time, 11:30. They said no need to make a
reservation, we'll be able to get a table easily (based on area,
that sounds correct to me, they're in a mixed use, heavily
business area).
If you're on the 1 line, you can take it straight and get off at
28th & 8th - it's about 3-4 min walk from there.

I have been notified that I am a dingbat. The 1 train will go to
28th & 7th - not 8th. Which is even better! 1 less avenue block
to go!

What, no red carnations in our lapels?

Jealous of you all -
I used to go up to NYC fairly frequently, but too busy now.
Loved going to brunch near the High Line. I think it is called
Bubby's. Had a lot of fun once explaining the menu to a couple
visiting from England.

BTW, for anyone curious, Ani and I did indeed have red
carnations. I had two in my artificial flower collection. (If I
hadn't, I was planning to pick up a bouquet at Trader Joe's.)
Ani wore hers in her hair, I waved mine when Many Hats walked
into the restaurant. 😍
