Last option from me - Have not been here, it is run by the same
people who ran Molyvos which is one of the 2 main places I would
have recommended, and therefore, I expect them to be excellent:

Also, update: TwoAsapsAgo is going to try and make it to
       whatever we end up planning.
So far it looks like Me, ManyHats, Acl, and TAA. Any other
       interest/takers?

Thanks for the recs, Ani! I'm good with Sunday brunch or Tuesday
dinner, whatever works for most folks. From this list, Hudson
West or Grey Bar would be my pick. We've had some good meals at
Eataly, but it might be fun to try a new place.

I'm still good for both days, however, I have to go in to my
office for a tech run and general clean up prior to our
scheduled return to office, so if we do Tuesday dinner, I could
combine the meet up and work to make one trip into the city. It
would be convenient, but not essential if brunch is better for
       everyone else.

Sunday brunch works best for me, as a question of both getting
around and not being concerned about when it ends or needs to
end. It sounds like all 4 of us are good with that (have talked
       to TAA off-line),
So let’s say next Sunday at 10:30.
       Tagging [member=182]The Hippest Harpist[/member] and
       [member=12]devils…b[/member] who previously expressed some
interest in meeting up if possible. We will work to do it again
over the summer if this doesn’t work for them. And the other
person I know is in the area [member=85]SalixBrooklyn[/member] ?
I’d like to have a count of people coming by Tuesday if
possible, so I can call an reserve a table for us. If you’re
bringing a spouse or friend with you, let me know so I can
include them in the count. Looking forward to hanging out with
       you guys in person 🙂

Acl and TAA are good either way - slight preference for the menu
at Hudson West. But a question did come up - so it turns out
that Sunday is the NYC Half Marathon. It will make traffic worse
as it diverts away from the marathon path (along FDR, across
42nd to Times Square and then up to Central Park), but I think
should not be completely horrible for either location.
However, Hudson West is also a little harder to get to by train
       - it's a 10-15 minute walk from the nearest train station. Not
sure how you are traveling about, Acl and I are coming in
together (she'll pick me up on her way in), and can pick you up
from train station if you need us to?
Grey Bar is easy to reach by train - 3 blocks from F train one
way, 2.5 blocks from the N/R the other way.
       Thoughts? Preferences?

I'll be coming from 225th Street on the 1 train. Sounds like
Grey Bar is easier for everyone, so that's fine with me. :)

Well, turns out that Grey Bar opens at 11:30 on Sunday, and
       brunch is served until 4.
So... new meeting time, 11:30. They said no need to make a
reservation, we'll be able to get a table easily (based on area,
that sounds correct to me, they're in a mixed use, heavily
       business area).
If you're on the 1 line, you can take it straight and get off at
       28th & 8th - it's about 3-4 min walk from there.
