Re: Long Tall mojo request

Update as of this afternoon…I asked if ok to share.
Oh yes please do! I tear up reading them and feel all the mojo
being sent in our direction. I love you guys and can’t thank
everyone enough. I told D.’s mom & grandma and they were in
tears too. They have so much gratitude for all the good people
in Haxville and the world at large.
D. good news: His intestines are doing great. He’s farting up
a storm & ate solid food today. Fingers crossed for a BM in the
very near future. Since I am also a 13 year old boy at heart I
will keep you posted when it happens hahahaha!
D. bad news: Severe neck pain and muscle spasms as they
increase his activity level. His neck brace is very
uncomfortable. He’s been up a few times and is wiped out with
any activity but very much wants to do more than doctors will
allow at this time. He will have another MRI tomorrow to see
how his neck looks. Doctors are thinking his ligament damage is
so severe that he will need surgery to fuse the base of his
skull to his spine. He has 3 thoracic compression fractures but
they are not concerned about them.
I’ll give you another update after his MRI tomorrow and you can
feel free to share. Oh geez - I’m starting to ugly cry again.
Please thank everyone for their kindness.

Thank you for the updates. I am so happy to hear about the
farting, and not only because I am also a 13 year old boy about
toilet humor. That is great news. Keeping the healing
mojination in motion and coming to you guys every day.

Thanks for the update, Lurk.
Sounds like the kid has a fighting, can-do attitude, and
hopefully that will help him with his recovery.

The mojo headed your way will continue until it's no longer
needed and we hear that all is well.
Hugs and mojo and shoulders to cry on when the emotions hit.
We're all here for you.

No problem! I thought I sent you a PM last night, but I checked
and it isn’t even in my sent box. That was so typically kind of
you to start this thread, and it means so much to LT and family.

Oh Long Tail. So much worry. May MRI bring good news tomorrow
and may some solid food increase the patience with being
immobilized like that. So hard for a young person!
