Very jealous. A bourbon trail - I'm guessing Kentucky?

Tonight dinner is courtesy of the NYT Cooking section - maple
rosemary chicken, with pan-seared potatoes. And from the great
Cook's Corner restaurant in Chapel Hill (now closed), Atlantic
       Beach pie.
I never thought a saltine/butter/sweet crust would work, but God
it's fantastic! Rather like key lime pie, with the crust the
sand, the lime filling the ocean, and the whipped cream the sea
       foam.

       Please post the pie recipe!
Here it's bacon-wrapped chicken. So easy. Sofa king good. Also
       mojitos.

We are feeling like Total Garbage here at Casa Cavia tonight, so
the answer is frozen falafels + hummus + possibly spinach if
either of us actually gets the get-up-and-go necessary to stand
over the stove for a few minutes.

Anyone have a good shrimp taco recipe? Healthy preferred - not
       fried unless air fryer.
Tonight we are having cod and I think I'm going to use this
       approach -
  HTML https://www.skinnytaste.com/parmesan-salmon/

And maybe that tomato basil farro I posted earlier. Farro makes
a light fish dinner feel more substantial.

Okay, I'm not much of a cook, but I bought some frozen fish &
thawed one overnight in the fridge.
Mistake #1: I put it in a plastic back bc none of my tupperware
was long enough to accommodate its frozen state.
I took it out this am and there mustve been a hole in the bag bc
ICE COLD FISH JUICE slopped onto the floor, down the sink
cabinet side & onto my (bare) feet.
I put it on parchment paper, and seasoned it a bit: all before
       discovering ...
Mistake #2: I didnt read the directions FIRST so I didnt rinse
it, or pat it dry. So I had wet fish with olive oil and spices
on it which was too late. Sprinkled some corn starch on to see
if that would soak up the liquid.
Put it in my toaster oven for about 10 min & took out. I tried
but couldnt get the skin off so just let it sit out for a while.
But by the time I got back to it, I noticed ...
Mistake #3: Room temp fish is totally gross. I gingerly took a
couple of nibbles, decided it was too fishy/gross for me, so put
it back in the freezer (thank gawd trash day is coming up).
So. Can I interest anyone in any of the rest of the uncooked
frozen fish ? If you got a hankering, it's ALL yours ....
       🙄🐟

I love it! She posted a newer one this year with more vegetables
that’s very similar. I loved it and my kids didn’t, but it
       reheated awesome for lunch.

Okay, this should be what's for lunch as I made it for lunch
this week but this low cal soup tasted really good. It takes a
ton of veggies and is a lot of work but it is probably the
healthiest thing I have ever eaten. I know, low bar but still.

That looks great! I’ll save it for this winter when I make soups
       for my lunch.
