Last night was pizza. Tonight is steaks. My sole contribution to
this will be using my fork, knife, and mouth. :D

Two nights ago we had pizza, last night was frozen breaded
chicken strips with buffalo sauce. We had salad both nights as
       well.
Tonight it's pasta, either with pesto or with homemade tomato
       sauce.
Do not ask me how my diet is going...
At least I've yet to make the cake or the brownies I've been
       craving.

Thai red curry with eggplant, red bell pepper, and Thai basil
with tofu over jasmine rice made with coconut water. Pineapple
       for dessert.

Pork roast, pineapple salsa, steamed broccoli with butter and
       lemon.
I'm always shocked when I buy one meal's worth of groceries how
much cheaper it is to eat at home. Even with the alchohol the
four of us will eat for about 25 bucks. Or less.

Yes, Queenie - I agree. I can get two bags of groceries for the
price of a single dinner out for the two of us. Because we
usually have 2 drinks each (wine or beer) with our dinner.
So we have saved a fair amount of money not eating out and not
traveling during Covid. We have never done take out but do
occasionally get something prepared at the grocery store.
But I would far rather have spent the money and not lived
       through a pandemic of course.

I'm going to try this, only with a little chicken. I have all
the ingredients including Thai eggplants and have a little
       chicken breast in my freezer.
I don't have coconut water for my jasmine rice, but I'm sure it
       will still be very good.
That will be our dinner this weekend.

Cooking at home is always cheaper, and lower calorie.
On that note, I'm going to gain so much weight this coming week!
We're going on a road trip to the bourbon trail and back ...
plus lots of eating out. I have a very long list of restaurants
       ;D

Rick is making ribs today. They cook all day in a low heat oven
and then on the grill to finish. Aggies play at 3:30, Terps play
       at 7.
CG - have you made Smitten's One pan farro with tomatoes?

So good. I love farro. It makes me feel like a healthier person
than when I eat rice. :)

It's going to be a small dinner tonight, maybe even just snacks,
because brunch will be at The Omelettry. With luck, we may even
get the good omen for the week.
Update: omen unlocked, it should be an easy week.
